1/2 the population works, the youth can't move up economically, it promotes gig, contract, temporary, part-time, no benefits and the long term result is economic instability and citizens here can't afford to have families, have a life. . . People who work and live here and have their finances here, don't benefit the same way. They invited 1.2 million in one year alone and are backlogged over a year. What was this crazy government thinking? Projection is that 1/2 million people will be 'un' documented next year? And out of the 16-17 mi full-time jobs, probably less than half paying a living wage in 'Canada.' It's beyond stupidity, completely incomprehensible what our government has done. Pay Canadians full-time with proper benefits. The Canadian government sets a low benchmark for Canadians 'here.' and just keeps lowering it, not to mention, cash, bribes, kickbacks, and a blackmarket will emerge. They don't know what they're doing.

These immigrants arrived legally and were granted legal status. In Canada, individuals must live in the country for five years before they can apply for citizenship. So, why should they be deported? I could understand if they had entered illegally and bypassed the proper legal process, but that is not the case here. First you get approval and then travel. You can’t just go to the border and wait, and when declined be frustrated. When I moved here in 2004, I had 2 years before process was finalized and approved. And only then I was able to come to the country through a legal process. It has to be done right.

During my school days, I came across the term population explosion. What’s being done for that ?

The problem with the way things have become here is that now people that have immigrated legally to Canada and are citizens are now becoming targets of hate and violence. I agree that once the visa is expired people need to go and honor what they signed for. We are also punishing those people who have done nothing wrong. This is really scary to see in our country. Hold government accountable for what they have done and ourselves accountable for who we elect and how we treat other human beings. We are all humans no matter skin color or where we are born so be kind to each other. Yes they need to follow the rules we have but we also need not be hate filled and violent, that is not what a Canadian is.

A lot of Indians treat white people really badly. Especially when there is money involved. It’s now extremely common that people here hate dealing with Indians as customers of their business and will go as far as avoid it altogether. They will often relentlessly try to negotiate services, lie and say anything to get get their way, pester businesses until they cave to their demands and even leave bad reviews which they say they will change if you give them a good deal. None of this is the way things are done in Canada and that needs to be respected. Something kind of funny, I’ve heard many people say that Indians will often say they will refer tons of friends and family to a business if you give them an unreasonable discount (which they never do once they’ve gotten what they want), but what they don’t realize is that referring a bunch more Indians to them is the last thing that business wants. And really, some of the discounts they want on things are just ridiculous. When I was selling my car a few years ago, I had it listed for $55,000 and I got bombarded by Indians offering $20,000-$25,000 and every lie under the sun of why that’s all it was worth, other people are saying yes to offers like that for the same car, dealerships are selling them for that much and so on. Like come on. And I guess while I’m at it, I hate to say but it’s a common thing here to walk into a gas station and the smell of body odour just hits you like a brick. I’ve stopped going to 3 different stations because of it. I’m sure there’s some pungent white people out there but damn. This is on a whole other level. It literally fills the entire building.

Forget VISA rejection and monetary loss. In my case, great economic power USA just gulped the application fees paid for whole family intending to attend cousin's marriage in USA . All done under covid pretext. No issue there but they stonewall in best way any enquiry for interview date. Now they say apply again and pay fees again. 55k INR helped USA economy that is my contribution to most powerful and resourceful economic beggar inthe world.

Indians are peddled this dream that everything outside is a heaven since early childhood. They see pictures of skyscrapers in Manhattan, London and Frankfurt and think everyone is living like that outside. These people are further brainwashed by immigration agencies and disguised human traffickers to put lakhs or even crores on the line for just going outside. India should stop e-visas for govt employees of countries like the US. Any US citizen who or whose immediate family member is a US govt employee should be asked to queue up at an Indian consulate and given an appointment after 1 year. They should be asked to submit various sorts of documents, submit their passport, wait for 45 days after which depending on the mood of the officer at the consulate, a sticker visa could be issued. This policy should be for OCIs who take up govt job as well.\n\nPS: Egypt had removed Canada from their visa on arrival list after canada began arbitrarily rejecting egyptian visa applications. The massive population of India is not just causing negative impacts to the Indians in India but also affecting well settled Indians and locals in various developed countries.\n\nThere is bound to be a backlash from the locals in those countries because the Indians are migrating in very large numbers.\n\nNo government in India has done any form of strict population control and that is why the world feels that India is simply exporting its unwanted population to other countries in super large numbers.

So you seem to be blaming the Country denying Indians a visa. Break down the rejections. Indians like any other third world country are known to use these avenues to escape from India. Don't blame the countries for taking time to assess. Blame the Indian society/economics that is forcing people to exit the country. See what can be done to fix that first, so that people don't want to exit your motherland first.

Indian politicians irrespective of their party's always get their visas. Never heard any politician's visa being rejected. So is the case with senior burocrates and jurnos. If any govt wants to fix it can be done in 15 to 30 days.
