My family and I were homeless in the U.S. all because I decided to further my education with a school who claimed to be accredited and all this stuff but quickly found out it all was a sham....so in not securing my deposit on a new place or being financially able to fight an eviction were the property basically got paid twice for bs they didn't handle...all because the irs took my income tax which I was depending on being I just started a new job and had 3 weeks before my first paycheck...we were on the street....everywhere I turned was a wait-list and no one I mean no entity would help us..... claiming lack of funding or some proof of homelessness other than papers proving your eviction....just so many ridiculous things....it took us a while to get off the streets and this is kids born on this soil....with a citizen who never been in trouble with the law, 3.8 gpa, educated and motivated and employed.....on the street and although now we have a roof as U.S. CITIZENS still struggling to find our footing....and STILL NO HELP...NOT A FOOD STAMP NOTHING and the lights are out due to the landlord....soooo I'm not sympathetic of these people....I struggled and still struggling in MY OWN COUNTRY WITH NO HELP FROM MY COUNTRY....GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM AND FIGURE IT OUT.....

I'm canadian and yeah, while the healthcare can be tricky sometimes, in cas of a emergency, it's not that tricky. I had to go to the ER 2 times in 3 month because of a pneumothorax, arrived there, pass in 15 min approximatly both time and was in charge, spent 1 week each time there and the second time even had to have a part of my lung removed. Had no real tricky manipulation to do or anyhing. I was just happy it cost me absolutely nothing and I think it's definetly a reason why the lifespan is higher since in case of an emergency, if I was in the US and had to pay, I would have actually died, since I don't have the money for it, I'm a student so... (that also helps, my session cost me around 200 bucks... yeah, 200, I'm in college). He has not fulfilled that promise. \nHe’s bidding $30 billion dollars to hopefully sign a deal to manufacture electric car batteries for Volkswagen. \nHe’s investing in other projects, as well. Unfortunately, he’s only investing in eastern provinces. \nSo far, there has been no investments in western provinces yet. Many of the out of work oil and gas workers in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba are still waiting on the jobs they were promised. \nLow wages, high inflation, high taxes and high income housing is bringing a lot of us to our knees. \nOur leader is corrupt. It's unconscionable that we've invited people to come to Canada without actually following through on the promise we made to them in the first place. Was it all just sloganeering designed to appeal to liberal progressive NIMBYers? Was there ever any intent on actually doing something for these poor people beyond a sound bite or photo op? \n\nThe solution to migration because of war, terror, famine and so on is not by opening up the borders and allowing everyone in, the solution to mass migrations (over 100 million worldwide) is to tackle the conditions that make such migrations necessary. Almost without exception, each one of these migrant/refugee situations are the result of political problems that have to be tackled in those countries where the conditions exist. There are over 100 million people fleeing conditions that make life unbearable, even if we wanted to, how are we to take them all into North America? How does anyone propose we do that, and even if we could manage it somehow, another 100 million would show up on our doorstep next year...or next week...it's simply not possible or reasonable to expect us to be overwhelmed by wave after wave of the poor unfortunate. The solutions to war and famine abroad can't be found here and we need to make it plain that people who live in such conditions must first rise up to help themselves. We can and should help, politically, through foreign aid and individual donations (North Americans are among the most generous donators after all), and even militarily where feasible or possible. The UN and other coalitions of nations, must each take up the burdens before people smugglers take it up for them. We have our own problems to deal with here and I'm not willing to vote for promises made that were never meant to be kept.

Just wanted to say that I found your video so interesting. Living an hour east of Toronto I only experience positive Doctor & Specialist needs. Recently had a Catscan with original appointment scheduled for 5 weeks away but got a call about a cancellation 3 days after Family Doctors referral. Just saying it's not all bad re medical care maybe the answer is Toronto is too overpopulated as possible reason for long waitimes.
