This experiment is hogwash on many points: 1. People discriminate all the time and they have to, based on culture, religion,and many others characteristics otherwise you’re a robot.\nDishonesty and unrealistic expectations is part of the PC CULTURE.\nlet’s be real most people in Canadian society are civilized and know how to treat others with decency but that doesn’t imply they have no branes.\nThe reality is that most culture do not mix. The bigger the minority the more exiled people are in the new Country and that’s a fact and will not change.\nYes some people can form friendships with other people from a different race,culture but the number is and will be small most people are sticking to the ones that are similar to their own and that’s a fact and will not change, you can talk about it until you’re blue in the face.

Canada, wake up and write your MP's and tell them you want a NEW LAW. Simple wording to be used = ALL PERSONS on CANADIAN SOIL and in PUBLIC PLACES must be INDENTIFIABLE to all Canadians.

I grew up in BRAMALEA, now incorporated with Brampton. BRAMALEA was an idyllic community made up primarily of Brits, European, and African-Canadians. Then Justin’s Dad (Pierre) opened the floodgates of immigration in the ‘70’s to ensure his re-election while transforming Canada into a Socialist Society (Socialized “Free” Health Care paid for by mammoth taxes on the middle class) while promoting “Multiculturalism” as the new Canadian Utopia. In his later years, while close to death, Pierre declared that “Multiculturalism DOESN’T WORK!” And, guess what? Neither does “Free” Healthcare!” As each culture swelled, they felt as though they didn’t need to assimilate. When I return to Canada/Brampton to visit family, I’m disgusted! The Indian residents (who Now comprise about 90% of BRAMLADESH’s population) do NOT look after their housing/property. The older/original neighborhoods where I grew up (well-cared for homes with manicured lawns, lush green-belts with pathways connecting neighborhoods and parks) now borders on slum-like conditions. It’s sad and downright depressing when I visit. All of my high school friends have fled the dilapidated area, and no wonder! Canada’s lax immigration laws, failed “Multiculturalism” and Socialist welfare system have all destroyed Canadian culture AND their middle class (strangled by immense taxation). I was fortunate to have grown up in the BRAMALEA of old, but I am so blessed to have escaped when I did! ??

Canada needs a new prime minister..\nWith him it will only get worse like it did for USA under Obama! Good luck Canadians!!!

Before I moved to Brampton, I had no idea HOW MANY Indians actually lived here. I'm of south Asian descent but I grew up here as a Canadian. I still keep my culture but I'm Canadian FIRST. It's true too, some of them don't believe in deodorant, holy shit I literally had to tell a guy who sat beside me on the bus that he smelled. I know it was rude but if someone doesn't tell these people, they will think not wearing deodorant is normal. I miss the Canada I grew up in. My friends were mostly white but there was a nice mix of us: white, black, asian so we all got along. Today, everyone is in their own groups, strangers are the enemy, there is so much more segregation than there has ever been. Not long ago at a Tim Hortons I heard an Indian guy who was clearly new to the country telling his friend he didn't have to learn English because everyone in Brampton speaks Punjabi, it was insulting hearing that.....Listen up Indians and any immigrants coming here: BEFORE you come here, learn English, LEARN the customs and learn the CANADIAN WAY. You owe it to Canada, give something back before you start taking.

Vancouver only excepts Millionaire Chinese and Asians people fact they had so many they had to make new rules for them buying in Vancouver. Funny isn't what the South American ( Canadian) diplomat speaking to people in Cali saying the same thing Trump is and the right. As a Canadian I detest seeing my hard earned tax dollars going to this BS. If it were up to me I would have this traitorous pig hung like the sack of crap he is. He brought a bunch of Syrian Refugees to the my home Province (a.k.a State) of New Brunswick which is the most economically depressed area of Canada and the most taxed. Most of the people here struggle to find work. These so called refugees are being treated better with handouts than our own populace who needs this money and paid into it all their lives.\nCalling for a rebellion!

Come now, Mr Trudeau, such noble and wonderful people as you claim the illegal immigrants to be must have lived in palatial mansions in their home lands. Why do you humiliate them with the sordid indignity of hotel room living? Surely Canadians would enthusiastically welcome having their taxes trebled, in order to build a row of sparkling new palaces for the diverse and newly arrived immigrants. Perhaps your supporters would gladly skip a meal every day, to finance and provide the new arrivals with the champagne and caviar which such fine and diverse people deserve. \n\nAfter all, the added strength of the diversity they bring has caused the Canadian economy to soar, hasn't it? Surely, all the cities who have taken in the new immigrants are rolling in a bounty of increased wealth and tax revenues, aren't they?

This is insanity. I think when the Healthcare and Education System gets too overburden with many new migrants, Canadians will have enough. They enjoy their free Healthcare and other services and will not let those go wayside.

Just remember those Canadian illegals were initially legally admitted into the United States first, butt heads. Not like these people washed up on Canada's east coast.\n\nPutting immigrants up, legal or illegal, in motels in border towns has been standard practice for years and years. Not new news. \nMaybe the residents of other Canadian cities are starting to notice this as more and more illegals seek asylum from Dotard\n\nReally, what are we going to do with them? to leave them on the streets? Get a brain its not like they can go anywhere without sticking out like a sore thumb.\nA lot cheaper than putting them in detention centers which do exist and are full of vetted deportees already.

there is racism and prejudice everywhere. on every level no matter gender, race, religion, culture. etc. no matter where you go. but if these guys take a trip to any of those corrupted third world backwards countries they would see how good they really have it. us foolish americans canadians dont know how good we have it. we are living in the freest country nation and society ever seen in the history of the world. at least our country creates new laws every year to make our people feel safe. but other islamic countries continue following laws made in the 15th century. do you see and appreciate the difference.\n\nsure people will label you based off your skin tone and your demeanor. I'll lay it out for you: Me: typical middle of the road liberal oriented Canadian. Non white, immigrant (I wasnt born here) I worked in a Refugee housing for over 4 years in Ontario. Most were not war areas refugees (Yes I know there are other types of refugees). I only encountered few refugees from war areas. ONLY 1 person from Iraq, about 2 families were from Afghanistan, 1 couple from Pakistan(I doubt they were real refugees they spoke fluent English, maybe political refugee), and a most from African countries. Its too far for real refugees to get here. Its Easier for them to go to other countries nearby or Europe. MOST SEEM TO BE ECONOMIC REFUGEES. Most were coming from Africa. Some are coming from Latin America, which shouldn't be happening. Once they showed up at our doorstep and we processed them into the system, they were immediately in the same class as a Canadian resident homeless person if they were making a refugee claim. We get money to house and feed them (from the government), and they are given a stipend for basics from the government processed through the Social Assistance/ Welfare system (they get less than a resident/citizen I think.). They then have to get their case processed by the refugee board, and most seem to get in. I've only heard of few getting sent back. One person I know at our facility, was given a subsided social housing apartment after a year in our facility. So they went straight from a shelter to a government/city owned subsidized apartment. (Didn't seem like it was a issue for the housing worker...they didn't report it (if they were not the ones that helped the person to get it), they were white, the housed person was Latin. This refugee claimant, and then month or two new Canadian resident person was given an apartment in a prime area of the city, instead of the 1000's of Canadians, those who came before them, and born Canadian citizens on an extremely long waiting list. How this was allowed to happen I don't know. The person was probably sucking on someone's straw. I'm just trying to think the barriers these people have to go through to get a job here. We are far removed from the time of the 80's and 90's., and housing and jobs are so hard to get. Lol the "Canadian government asks them to repay the traveling cost to Canada if they are sent back"....I wonder how much the government recoups?.....more like 0 probably. What a bunch of crap. How do you demand someone to repay their flight cost when they get back to their country?

i believe in Canada the majority of new Canadian have gone through discrimination.

I'm black Canadian... Of course I would never say racism doesn't exist in Canada... But the Canada that they are describing is foreign to me... Where as As soon as I cross the brother to the state I get racially profile... By the time I get to New York City I'll get stop 3 times on average... So... When you people say Muslims , do you mean the Canadian Muslims who were born here and adapted their faith and new culture together or the Syrian refugees who prefer Syrian Arab culture, cause there's a huge difference.

Nice program.. It seams for some reason the western civilization has been burdened with this problem of Racism, Prejudism and other phobia .. I am a Transgender person. I feel safe in Canada. So should everyone else. BUT Here is the devils advocate in me.. If I went to a different part of the world, would I have the same rights and freedoms as I do here.? Probably not!  Canada is about change. Canadian's accept change, but so should the people who come here. Don't lose your religion, values, or culture. keep them close! but embrace new ones.. Canada is a new world now! We fight hate on all levels!

+Joe Smith explain? When you join a new country it's generally to start a better life. The moment an immigrant comes here they're as Canadian as I am. I'm no Native so what does the time matter? Immigrants sacrifice leisure time for work/school and other opportunities. People born in western countries do t appreciate what they have whereas immigrants can make magic happen with minimum wage. They work so much harder than an average westerner born and raised. No question.

Of course intolerance exists in  Canada, however, I believe the current multi-cultural policy is ill conceived, delaying integration of new arrivals into the Canadian social fabric. The same can be said for the Indian Act which legally discriminates between status Indians and the Metis, who by accident of birth, bear the same social weight as  status Indians, but with far fewer social benefits.

The only thing I know is that In Canada there have been many fundamental aspects that are maintained by Canadians. Such as freedom of expression, freedom from limitations based off of sex or other social cliches and so on. \nSure we tolerate all different ways of life. this didn't start last week or a few years ago.....this has been a war for hundreds of years Muslim, jihadist killing Christians and others who don't follow Muhammad...My way or the high way..look at the news ...look at Europe what's going on Germany,France England..a religion of peace ...right. where is the peace you speak of ...help us Canadians understand were confused we don't see a religion oh peace... I would like to come and experience and be educated more about Islam I am a new Muslim Canadian women but with my husband not here with me in Canada I find it hard to learn on my own. I would love to come to Ontario to know more about Islam if there is any chance for my Muslim brothers and sisters to help me with this Please . Thank You
