Great video. Recently im researching canada and new zealand as my adventure in australia come to end. And a lot of the points you mentioned are better in canada than in Australia. Education, team work attitude, living. Im surprised but also encouraged more towards canada. I wish I could see same comparison of Canada and New Zealand and Australia.

I met too many international students and most them they were studying on line!!! so they are not need to came to Canada, but the reason is they came for work. Each one has two jobs !!! So the reason coming for work and save money not for study and at the end after graduation they stay in Canada and never come back home.

Very kidding same reason still used by Canadian employers for job seekers without local working experience today when moving to Canada more than 20 years ago. Think twice if you want to move to Canada for better life without job. This is not a country for many professionals. They will use same excuses used back to 20 years ago to reject you: no local work experience, no Canadian degree, etc. The truth is no opportunity. My friend lived in PEI.she could not find a job or a place to stay her one bedroom went up so high she packed her bag and came over to new Glasgow .and got her first job cleaning garbage of the sides of the road .no jobs here also three months of the summer working to cater to the few tourist.that come to walk around and get back into their motor homes and drive to the poorest of the poor cape breton.another place with no work .no housing.no one coming for a job can't afford a one bedroom.send these people back.before they bring over everyone of their families.

Only some braindead person would think that students are coming to Canada just to study and go back. Canadian education is worthless as it is.everyone in the world knows it. Most of them are coming to get hold of work permit, float fake resumes in IT field, displace high paying Canadian jobs. Most people working in high positions and hig paying jobs in software testing field of IT have entered and settled his way.

The fact you have to pay a couple HUNDRED bucks a month is crazy! We have extra coverage with our jobs for chiro, massage, dental work, but i NEVER paid that much for it. And like I said, the work insurance is for extras, not basic care. I'm on disability so no work insurance and i haven't paid a dime even for major surgeries that meant 2 seeks in the hostital, 2 days ICU, rehab, meds, home care. That's all covered by gvmt (Yes by our taxes, but we actually don't pay more taxes than you) . I would need that extra insurance if i wanted to go to a private clinic or something.\n\nEven the homecare that I have, not the post surgery one, basics like cooking and cleaning, is paid by a gvmt program to come 10hrs a week for me but they also cover full time! I’m an international student from China and I never worked here. My Indian classmates ruined our final project. Wearing slippers for presentations and even cannot finish a simple website, my roommates are Indians as well, and they are all good. But some students they’re not come here to study, just for work. But just keeping the balance between study and work, will make other students have bad experiences. I also want to get the PR here, but it depends on my abilities and other factors. I love country music, K-pop, and pop Jazz, I watched a documentary about Canada before I came, and I was a volunteer at the London Air Show, Comic Con, Food Bank and Ronald Macdonald House. In addition, I also help the Church group make posters and videos. You come here is to integrate local culture and accept the rules and order, you can keep your own identity a features. Don’t forget you are a foreigner, you are the guest now.

Someone above asked why so much Indians. you see indian student's out there - yes they had to pay 20K-40000CAD FEES to colleges + now a days 20,600 CAD GIC to Banks in Canada. \nEach in total spends 40-80k cad. \n\nAnd every day from the tim cup , pizza/ burger to food delivery you see indian. Student/ work permit holders/ pr they work up to built our canada. \nTalk about health care ( Doctors,nurses,psw,dentist) Transportation, \nhard- cheap labour,\n IT projects, Constructions, mechanics....name it you have INDIAN playing a major role. \n\nHow did canada expanded and devolped so well ? you know, I have worked with temps in BC for over four years. They come in/phone in and ask for temp work, but here is the thing,....they don't want to do construction work. they want a company to oblige their school schedules, warehouse, forklifting only at 25 to 30 an hour. Its a scam to get PR.....they are not citizens, they are visitors. Ever single one of these students I've met ALL of THEM feel they're entitled to the same right and privileges as Canadian born citizens. Its just twisted. \nOur government is being played HARD.

It makes me crazy to hear Justin repeating everything Pierre has been saying for months. Immigration is causing issues with so many International students coming to Canada which is more than Canada can absorb. Justin hasn't thought of any ideas and uses what Pierre has been saying for months now. If you can work out the immigration numbers coming into Canada and the possibility of building homes and how fast. They said Canada would have to build a home every minute to build homes to fix the number of people in Canada now through immigration.

Who said they don't want to go home? Canada invites international students with a promise to give them PR if they can finish school and qualify using one of the programs. I know because that's how I came to Canada. Unlike the US where it's hard to stay and you need a marriage, in Canada you can use a qualifying job. Usually people sponsored by family to get PR, as well as refugees, are put ahead of international students as well as those on work permits. \n\nIn the meantime, International students over-pay into post secondary, as well as working off campus and paying taxes, but are always last in line when it comes to being granted PR. The rules change so much so fast, it's easy to find yourself out of time and kicked out of the country. \n\nSo whoever watches this will be happy that International students are getting kicked out, but the problem with too much immigration won't be solved because the country is still taking in so many refugees. Right now it's international students getting the axe and are the scape goats in ths game. \n\nAlso, the reason why Canada takes in more immigrants beyond the obvious, is because they want to eventually do away with property rights. So while people can cheer kicking out international students, it doesn't prevent the inevitable from happening, because the politicians took in too many new people.. \n\nAnyway, good luck to everyone, from either side of this debate, it's bad news all around wharever the final outcome.

People were misinformed by the PEI PNP officials that these rules are temporary. However, the case was otherwise. Hope this give you people a bit of insight. For those who are saying that these people should be deported. These people are the reason 90% of sales sector runs on this Island. People before used to wait 20 minutes for one coffee (coming from the people who’ve been living on the island since they are born). I was an international Student....15 years ago. I paid about 30k in tuition A YEAR.. I was NOT allowed to work off campus, i was allowed to work ON campus for a maximum of 10 hours A WEEK...in order for me to maintain my Visa status i had to maintain a GPA over 3.5 AND i had to be enrolled in an accredited institution. Our international student department had a quota of how many students they could recruit from every country... Rent was affordable, jobs were aplenty and when it came time for an Internship companies would come do hiring fairs and fight to get students to want to work for them. Now they get about 60k applicants a year that are willing to work for free and taking away from actual citizens.\nAfter 8 years of working and grinding and stressing i earned the right to get a Permanent residence...i had to commit 3 years out of 5 to stay here and work here and pay taxes for me to become a Canadian ...it was the proudest day of my life. I was filled with a sense of achievement that has been shat on by these students. \nIf you or anyone would actually like to talk about how it should be feel free to reach out.\nI will tell you this for free...if a Canadian Citizen did this in my country .. they'd be on the first flight home.

Im Bangladeshi-American, born in America. My parents were immigrants. I dont understand how its anyone's concern what language people speak with family and friends or if someone does not know English. In a free country, you can speak whatever language you want, wear your cultural clothing, and eat your culture's food. why does one need to adapt to the local area? The law doesnt oblige them... Also, these indians came legally no? In a democratic Canada that let them in... people voted for this directly or indirectly. Also, to your point, its the whites that are homeless and on drugs, how are indians to blame for white failure in Brampton? Indians have strong work and study ethic, so you should welcome that. Who in the right mind would come to Canada to study paying so much money in student tuition and not hope to become a citizen? The word is out come here as an international student then get your Class A license begin working as a truck driver and apply for landed immigrant. I have had more than one close call with transports on the highway and am never surprised when I see who is driving.

They should not grant extension from the beginning. Bad decision. Student visa is not working visa. Most of these Indian are coming to get residents and benefits. No intention to contribute anything to our country.

It's great that people want to come here and study, but... When you come here and abuse the rules and work well beyond the limits of your work permit and work double and triple the amount of hours that is not ok. Another issue is when you take only business courses and then fail out just you didn't actually get any skills that are needed in this county to allow you to stay after your schooling. If you follow the rules, great! Come learn and work and share our culture for your school term, but if you don't want to follow the rules...

I am speaking as an Indian, who lived and worked in Thailand for 2 years, and now will be moving to Europe on a specialist skills visa. Indians as immigrants have been a productive addition to any country worldwide, compared to other nationalities. But the only exception case is in Canada. \n\nThe reality is, in Canada, the majority of immigrants are only from a specific part of India (Punjab), and most of these people are deluded, uneducated and unskilled. You are 100% right, they are not there to upskill or even contribute. I can bet these people have not even lived in big cities in India itself, they come from villages and small towns and have never seen how modern societies or even cities work.\n\nI feel sad for Canadians because most of this is their government's fault. At some point, my father worked in the oil industry overseas. A bunch of Indians showed up wanting a managerial job, along with the hard working Americans and Europeans. The latter were confused,l. They thought that those Indians must have lacked the knowledge to read, write, or think, to demand a management position, when Americans and Europeans worked so hard to be where they are now. \n They advised the Indians to never want to see their faces again. \n I come to Canada, and see Indians and Chinese sitting in our parliament. I know for a fact that 95% of Indian and African students don’t even attend their first semester and withdraw before their tuitions are kept. They usually apply to private colleges. I work in social and community services. Many of them come with mental health illnesses and the parents pawn them off to Canada on the pretense of them going to school only to end up on social assistance because they can’t find work.

Truth! The majority of Indian students came to work and not study. Why? Many had borrowed money to come or had their parents borrow large amounts of money because of the financial pressures. Many became Uber drivers adn working more than the 20 hr limit per week under the table. What is Canada going to do with one million foreign students. If you actually did study and graduate then you have a good education to go home with. You people think that you can come here, not follow the rules and now you want to change the rules just to suit you.

This was the worst scam . If you had 40000 canadian dollars, you can come as a student and take any courses and work permit and get a PR. They brought their spouses, kids and all . Ruined the entire country ! F Trudeau

It's not the fault of the student's. They pay a lot to get here and they work in the service jobs that many young Canadians do not want to work in if we even have enough native born Canadians. They are victims of the greed of Post Secondary institutions and the mismanagement of the Trudeau government. Take a look at the open immigration policy for people coming from Iran, Syria and Morocco. Last time I looked Iran was not a friend yet we open the door to these countries. No vetting, no security and no age limit. 70 plus years old coming to Canada on Work Permits. This will affect our healthcare. Indian students paid and worked for their chance to live here. Take a look. Investigate the special programs for different countries in the middle east.

We don’t need a bunch of single men entering the country to take jobs from up and coming youth. JT wants them to work in construction. Have you seen any construction fail videos from India? These people don’t have safe working skills. They would be a hazard on the job site.

I lost very good friends over the years because they were not able to secure work visas after working, but its fair. Canada's system and social welfare has to be protected, Canadian jobs have to be protected and prioritized for Canadians first. No international student has a right to stay or live here past their studies. They can come back when they secure a work permit.
