There is a reason for this, even though I think doors should be open to anyone that wants to become canadians.\nThe reason being there is not enough housing. And that is throughout Canada. There is a lack even for people who already live here.\nThey took too many immigrants compare to many other countries. But the provinces did not put money on housing for many years. The same with schools and not enough teachers.

yes canada is not racist and no one can make such generalization. however it is clear by many comments that racism clearly exists. international students are not just from india. they are from many countries. many come from nigeria also but rebel news or harrison and others would not say one word against anyone who is black. if all these people were from uk or europe then would this even be an issue to anyone? be honest. i am not taking sides. i been in canada for 40 years and my loyalty is to canada and for sure i would say there was lot of racism when i came in 1988. from grade 6 to 9 life was terrible here. things changed over time and my kids have not experienced racism for most of there life here but now i am seeing the bullies type that i faced are returning more and more especially online. rebel news and harrison (forgot his last name) are motivating such people. i had 2 racism incident in last few months. majority of indians are not trouble makers and are amongst the richest community in all of canada with the lowest crimes. many indian doctors, nurses, IT sector, engineers etc... now where does the problem lie. it is with poor immigration policies which lowered its standards. the requirements has to be raised higher and highly educated bunch is who we should bring in. many people from punjab india are involved in crimes and drugs and these are the people involved in the separatist movement and jagmeet and justin brought them in for votes. they need to go and so do those who are not loyal to canada. those of you who are racist i can give you a history lesson of the kkk or the crusaders but i know too many good people who i rather not group with you. in fact there is no need to go that route. you can never get rid of all blacks or indians out of canada. we have a history and we have every right to feel canadian as we obey and contribute to the economy and abide the law so f-off.

Liberals just raised bc minimum wage to 20$ ask yourself how many coffees have to be sold to cover wage so expect simple coffee to cost over 3$ hahaha let’s not even talk about food fuel and energy cost

I have seen many students and people who doesn’t even know how to talk English and they are PR holder \nI know some families who does not have education but don’t know how they landed here

The only thing I would say cause you seem to be very young. Is that brampton actually in the 70's and to early 2000's used to be mostly a white and black community and then other cultures. I am born in Toronto I have a cousin born in Toronto who currently lives in brampton she owns a house in brampton for about 25 years. And is going through a lot mentally with the slamming. We got of people from India mostly in the last 2 years, but it's been going on slowly over 10 years and she's not doing well with the overwhelment of Indians and we're of black Jamaican heritage. So just so you know, brampton used to actually be white and then black was actually the second largest population and everybody else was after that. And then in the last 10 years they started coming but it wasn't in hundreds of thousands and then in the last 2 years it blew up insanely. As that man described is like an invasion. I now live on the West Coast of Canada and the same thing has happened here. And it's been a lot for me Canadian born. I've always grew up with every culture. I've lived and worked around the Indians that used to come here were literally not even on the radar. I mean you see them, but you just they just blended in because most of them had assimilated and were doing their lives. The breed that has come over specifically in the last 2 years is what is making it even worse cause if they acted like the ones who came before 10 -20 -30 years ago. They probably wouldn't stand out, but then again when you bring in almost a million, into all of Canada, they would stand out, but maybe people wouldn't be so agitated, if they had tried to assimilate and be respectful to the other cultures here and that is the number one complaint I hear anytime, I see interviews. Is people saying they don't assimilate? They're very rude to anybody who is not them. They are just interacting with the environment. The way they do at home, Canadians are more quiet and try to be respectful of other cultures. We like to just have their own space and our own peace when they're moving throughout this space and a lot of people describe the energy of the Indians coming in almost evasive into your space and then not really carrying anything about invading ur space. They act like, so what's the big deal if I'm in your space and that has been the number one issue is just the rudeness. Not assimilating and imposing their culture, speaking their language, not attempting to integrate with other cultures showing actually a lot of racism to some of the other cultures. And that has been the biggest problem. So just so you know, cause I can tell you're young. I'm North 40 years old and I can tell you. The demographic change has been so intense everywhere in Canada especially in the last 2 years. That I have even seen podcast with Indian people who have been here 10 -20-30 years, saying the government needs to figure out a way and get a good swath of these people gone because they are. Staining them with a negative brush. Cause I can tell you. It's only in the last 5 years. That I notice Indians. I've grown up around every culture. And I just don't notice individual cultures in that way. Until in 2022, Trudeau took the guard railsl off the foreign worker program and the student Visa working program. And just said Hey, anybody want to come bum rush the door now? And India is known for having middlemen in India that work with Fake Diploma Mills scholls with brampton having over 80 of them that the middlemen work scamming Indians by telling them if they pay anywhere from $5000 all the way up to $50,000 even higher to get fake school acceptance letters, so they can come here to get the word permit and work full-time or with companies that provide fake LMIA job offers on the black market, which is illegal under the I.R.C.C, but that is a thing that they had prior to 2022. And when Trudeau took the guards rails off when it comes the requirements and basically. Made it a free-for-all and as India already had the scamming infrastructure in place that kept their population moderate and it just allowed th scammers to go nuts, so that's why we got mostly Indians. Other cultures do it too, but it's so tiny. It's not noticeable. The Indians already had the infrastructure in place that when they took off the guard rails, it was easy for them to switch and start selling these opportunities to go to these fake schools was over 80 of them in brampton t such a lightening speed. Hence why we got slammed so hard-and-fast with that specific community.That just really we're coming here to work and send money home and that is also why a lot of our banks are now struggling with cash reserved because they're sending money home. The immigration file has been completely botched and mishandled by an inept and very stupid government. Mass immigration without a plan for increased housing, medical staff, infrastructure help, or even increased staff at immigration centres, etc. is madness, and chaos has ensued. I studied in India for several years, and was careful to respect Indian culture vis a vis dress codes, learning Hindi, and behaviour. It is only normal courtesy to do so. It becomes more difficult when numbers increase drastically over a v. short period of time since people coming here are not widely exposed to Canadian culture. This completely inept and corrupt government needs to go: like yesterday. I think of myself as anti-racist, but when I go for a medical test and see that 95% of patients appear to be of middle-eastern origin, while I haven't been able to find a family doctor for 10 years, I do get a little irritated. And I'm a boomer; younger people in Canada are competing for education, jobs, housing, as well as medical care, so I can understand people becoming angry. I think that currently this backlash is against the government, not immigrants, and not one community in particular. I am cynical enough to think that this government went for mass immigration because they have no economic plan for prosperity, and bringing in several millions would raise GDP. But percapita GNP has been falling for 8 quarters, so we are definitely in a recession. I think Trudeau did this so his economic incompetence would not be obvious. They are then put to work, in local businesses to work off this debt. Most of these International students spend $30 to $40,000/- to come here and settle down . The courses which are offered by these no name Candian institutes in which these people enroll into are of ZERO value back home and even here in Canada there is not much value. Most of Germans are really good people and friendly nothing against them but Germany itself is not immigrant friendly racism is pretty much on the rise ,low wages , little or no opportunities, my wife handles international clients and she says German client s are the worst in behavior they sound rude and entitled. If I'm a skilled person and want to move to Germany first and foremost you need to learn most difficult language in world and master it nothings wrong there but why would I when I could just go with English and move to other English speaking countries which offers more opportunities or atleast learn french that would be even more beneficial. Germany was known for it's low cost education system and other benefits it provide for students but sadly enough jobs are not there. If you want to attract international talent first atleast create an atmosphere for them but really sorry to say these but Germany feels hostile towards immigrants. Big MNCs are seeing all these and saying why are we here if we cannot hire international talent and slowly they are walking out of there and moving on to other countries ? and now you got serious issue here and people have only themselves to blame ?. As a FRENCH individual, here is my perspective; we humans look for what is good for us!!! I am French (I consider myself very lucky as France is a very stable and prosperous economy) but many French also look for better opportunities abroad, namely in Switzerland (higher salary and better work packages but that influx created a xenophobia against French living in Swiss) and the US (tech jobs mainly, which are better paid than in France)!!! We ALL do it!!! Many white South African women also do everything to marry British, Germans, Canadians on purpose (the media never mentions that and we know why) so that they can escape the extreme environment in South Africa!!!! It is just that the media tends to focus on black and brown people as it sells better!!! Ohhh and did you forget those many North Americans who flock to Mexico, and South America to run away from the horrendous cost of living!!!! Same for those many Canadians (a common trend those last years) who start to flock into the US to run away from higher living costs in Canada and for higher paid jobs in the US!!!! Okay may be some lesser developed countries do it but let’s realize that WE Europeans also move and emigrate when things turn “grill our ar**s” where we live!!!! The funny thing is trudeau caused this issue and it's only years later he realizes he has to reverse it. Everyone that has immigrated in the past 5 years should be deported. I came to Germany from the UK in 1991, and was already fluent in German. In those days the Ausländerbehörde was incredibly unfriendly and demanding. They have got better over the years but there is definitely different treatment of UK citizens people from other countries. When I applied for citizenship before Brexit, it only took a few months. Now although it is supposed to be a faster process, it takes more than a year to even get an appointment, which is completely ridiculous. The reason is the lack of personnel. I accompany foreigners to the Ausländerbehörde and there is definitely different treatment of non-eu foreigners although it depends on the individual person in charge there. Even the period of residency given can vary between applicants by 1 to 5 years, depending on who they see or which Ausländerbehörde. This seems very strange and unfair considering that an annual fee for a residency permit is around 100 euros and involves 2 visits (the foreigner has to take at least a 1/2 day off to attend the appointment).
