They wanted out of the control of British Commonwealth and moved toward unsuspected, unlearned, ill advised Russia Socialism with excessive State control and markedman styled partisan loyalist that are apparatus, a cut out of people to be used against people by the State. That is obvious indication that it did not work, now no work and have seen people taking the middle postion to defraud thereby produces the result of failes position it initial assumed. Now the Capitalism abandoned and rejected for Russian influenced Socialism has proved now to be only sustainable system Africans ran to to seek refuge at all cost.

This situation is indeed concerning. I am an immigrant, and I entered the country through proper channels. The current state of affairs is not acceptable. Without specifying names, my workplace has recently hired a significant number of people from South America, thanks to policies that granted them a five-year visa, food stamps, and free medical care insurance.\n\nThe workplace environment has deteriorated noticeably, with garbage littering the floor, and a lack of adherence to the rules. During my breaks, I cannot even find peace in my car because some individuals are smoking marijuana and the smoke is blowing towards me. To make matters worse, someone damaged my car on private property, and when I asked for their insurance information, they responded with profanities in Spanish and fled the scene.\n\nAs an immigrant, I came to this country with the intention of being an asset, not a liability. It’s crucial that we have a president who can address these concerns without fearing the demands of any specific minority group.

Firstly it’s not easy but at the end of it is would have been worthwhile it especially for your kids. Besides 2 months is too early to judge and make such a big decision. Lastly no one calls people to their country it your choice… you should be grateful you had family it was way easier for you. Fixing things is something you do anywhere in the world. Basement stay was a choice you should rent a house if you could afford it. Education system has changed world wide. Job should be an affiliate certification world recognized if not you start a level lower. Like u said your kids it was good that is the reason you should have stayed. Road rules again worldwid. You should have stayed for your kids

Our Health Care system is broken. We have very bad doctors and insane wait times. Our Health Care is tax funded and it's impossible to sue the hospital if they misdiagnose or mistreat an illness. When you pay for your doctor you will get the best care. Not up here though. One thing per visit and you must see a medical clinic first, if you can get an appointment. My last 2 visits were 14h wait times, and that's at the biggest hospital in BC. \n\nWe don't have free speech. We heavily tax our poorest people. Our gas is over $2 a liter. Food is very expensive especially at fast food places and restaurants. \n\nOur internet is third world at best but with some of the highest data costs in the world. \n\nWe have a run on our borders and our infrastructure is bursting at the seams. We put the needs of other countries before our own. Could be a good thing but not when helping the world is making it harder and harder for those born here to actually live and thrive here.

I lived two years in the south of the usa (in Texas) during my childhood in the 90's and it wasn't so bad. Weather was great ! People nice and great ! I did love the school there, I learn English there and math was super easy. In Canada, I went in a catholic schools and we were obligated to say a prayer before class begin. In Texas in my elementary school, everyone is up in the morning before class and there is a swear thing to say not the betray the USA with the right hand on the heart of our chest… \nSo… First day of school in an other country, in an other language that I didn't understand or speak, I did joined my hands together . I was correct by my classroom teacher and make me a sign to do like the other kids. So I did. I had told my parents they pray also before class but in a different way ?\nIn time I learn how to say the words without knowing it's true meaning. Well before I realize what it was when I was able to understand the language, I always sure it was a prayer ?\nCultural choc

People who think it is easy , it is not … take chances … every county has positives and negatives… \n\nWhen you go out of the country, you have to learn there ways.. find alternatives to food you cook, learn quick easy recipes… for dusting buy a second hand roomba .. where there is a will there is a way … \n\nIndia ke Goan main bhi toh log khud ka kaam khud karte hain .. other countries make you self sufficient for sure , there is no pampering.. \n\nBut you are ready for hard work and want your kids to have better life surely it will motivate you..

I am Canadian, my husband is American. I moved to the USA 11 years ago. I live in a liberal state (by American standards) with little violence (by American standards). I like where we live and enjoy most of the people that I interact with. I would move back to Canada in a heartbeat. I must confess that I felt like I stepped back in time 20 years when I moved here - labor standards in the US are so behind the rest of the world (maternity leave, paid time off, job protections, etc). To a Canadian, US culture feels accepting of racism, violence, us vs them mentalities, gun culture, religious and political fanaticism. I still can’t get over how “normal” Americans think their healthcare system is…. most other countries think it is absolutely nuts! I have good insurance, but if I ever develop a serious illness….I will move back to Canada where I can attempt to keep my health AND still have a house to live in. On the surface, Americans and Canadians look alike - but I still feel the cultural differences every day. I’m sure that America feels safe and wonderful to Americans who grew up here - but it can be difficult for people who grew up with different values to agree that these things make America “great”.

Both Canada and America have huge problems right now. As a 73yo Canadian I have NEVER seen so much hate for our Government. Everyone has the exact same complaints, like it was scripted. Our press is constantly stirring the pot and it makes unsatisfied Canadians more angry every day. The negative press pounding on our PM never ends. There are YouTube channels that take every little Canadian fault and make it into the crime of the century. Worse, they make money doing it.\n \nCanadians have been spoiled with our social services and lack of crime, and our beautiful country etc. I'm so tired of the complaining and whining that makes my life more miserable than the cost of living does. Canadians have been spoiled rotten, and now that the candy is less sweet, more expensive and less plentiful, Canadians whine and complain like spoiled children. \nMost countries in the world have the exact same problems and Canadians seem to think our problems are unique and directly connected to our Government only.\n\nAll said and done, I would still rather live in Canada with all of our faults, miserable people, and the haters. Where as in Toronto, you will feel you belong to it within 30 mins max of you arruval. Toronto is a beautiful city but if you don't make a lot of money you can either live in studio apartments and hardly buy food to eat or end up homeless. Toronto is much more expensive than most american cities, it might be as expensive as New York City or a bit more. Canada is a truly gorgeous country but it is too expensive. The US is getting so expensive even in Texas,you feel like moving to another country too,in my case my country Panama. Makes you think when will the inflation stop and be controlled in Canada and in the US. We don't want all poor and middle class people to have no money and be left with nothing and end up homeless. Right now it is not a good idea to move to the U.S. or to Canada, just to visit for some months but living in those countries is crippling people's lives.?

Just imagine all the foreigners including my family that came here legally and did everything to have the American dream. They paid so much money to become a citizen for people to storm in and get everything for free smh…the US owe every foreign person that spent thousands of dollars to stay legally and entered with a legal visa..smh but the migrants get food stamps, shelter, schools, etc while we have thousands of people homeless or losing their homes..can’t get gov assistance because they work and “Make too much” smh this country is a mess and I see now why Trump wanted borders to be closed

The people that come here thinking it is some easy life with gold paved streets you have NO IDEA. My mom came here when me and my sister were still very young. We lived in a tiny town my mom worked at a cannery and motel cleaning rooms. She worked 5 jobs before she saved enough to move to Toronto. We lived in a shelter for mothers and children in Toronto. We finally settled in affordable housing (after long waitlist). Folks be warned, it is not an easy life. The climb is challenging- it is a climb out of a pit up a mountain. The country is beautiful and peaceful but life is not easy. You have to work very hard to make a decent life for yourself.

I can't talk from a point of experience in Canada but from a point of experience in Kenya. Yes things are tough everywhere but I believe things are tuffer here in Kenya, well unless you have a good job, good business or money to invest. I have done of research about Canada, Germany, UK and even Finland. What I have learnt is that opportunities are there as opposed to Kenya. Here in Kenya it's doesn't matter if you have a skill, or papers getting a job is not easy and even harder is getting a good paying job. Most people makes less 10 CAdollars per day which today 1000 or 30 per month minimum wage in Canada is i guess 14.5 in the less expensive provinces. If you work 14 hours per \nDay which I believe possible you have about uko na 20k in ksh, pay tax of maybe 30% combined you have about 130 cad per day work for 25 days in a month you will have about 3250 net stay in most affordable place(hujaenda raha) you can get 1250 in low cost province (not Ontario or BC though here minimum wage iko juu), groceries and expenses budget 1000 per month you can save about 100k ksh pm, save in Cad for few years stay like a student on the budget but work like a donkey. Come back home in few years lets say 5 with save coins probably CAD will trading at 150 coz the hit shilling is taking mind-blowing. You will have 6m to invest any interest or forex gain use them to cover your vacation here in Kenya yes land in Diani you will have missed such weather, enda masai Mara (you deserve it), go visit your parents and most importantly find an investment opportunity you can do real estate but find ideal location but only if you have enough capital ya kujenga and then find someone professional to manage the construction not sending money to your relatives wanapiga sherehe nazo unatumiwa picha za mjengo za nyumba za wenyewe. Pia farming is underated buy a farm land in cheap area ukambani, laikipia, kajiado, taita etc at max 200k per acre 10 acres ni 2m borehole 1.5m with solar and pump. Development such as fenching and service quarters driplines 1m. 1.5 m is working capital ,use it for labour fertilizer, seeds and seedlings. Divide the farm into 5 parts along the fence panda miti ya eucalyptus, other parts do high value perennial cash crops with less management cost like 2 acres of avocado, 2 acres of pixes oranges, lime, the other 2 plant seasonal rotational plants you can even maize, cabbages io ingine do livestock of your choice. If you want low risk investment buy government bond less stress and you are sure government can never fail to repay their local currency bonds ata ikiwa bankrupt coz they can always print more money. Now rates are very high assuming you can get 10% rates with your 6m your will earn 600k risk free income. Your vacation is over, now go back to Canada and work like a donkey because you went there to work, not a vacation. I live in Montreal Canada and as a refugee from Rwanda I have no other options but to stay. \nFor those who are from peaceful countries in Africa and well educated who make at least equivalent of $2000 in Africa, please do not come here.\nFor example: it's not easy to buy a house if you're single, you need to be married to be able to afford a house. Let alone buying a house, renting isn't also easy, the cheapest now for families is $1000.\nLet's say you make $20 per hour, this salary will never get you anywhere unless you're married or have other sources of income. You need a second job and the more you earn the more you're taxed.\nEven those high skilled people can only live comfortably only as working couple because as a single high skilled person even if you make more than $100k a year for you to live a good life here isn't easy. Yes of course, it's still better than the most african countries, but for those doing well in Africa already don't come here, come when you're hardly earning a living in Africa. \nNB: People who make $100k in Canada are less than 11% of the whole population. That's 4257000 million out of 38.7 canadians. The rest are considered low income generating workers who hardly afford things.

Indian people are not fit for a foreign life, they are used to comforts and laziness in India. So when they go abroad they are shocked and taken aback by hyperactivity of any foreign countries. The other thing is I don’t know why u keep saying that Punjab is mostly agrarian economy while 20%agriculture contributes in its economy .. Punjab has almost 13000 small and medium factories which is 9th number only low to the states which has ports and their average is 3 times the population of punjab .. the other reason it has the disadvantage of border state where if u see per captia income is less in those districts which borders with Pakistan .. investment is low on that side … Punjab also received 631 million dollars in fdi which is 6th 7th in country …. If African leaders would think twice and start developping their own country, sincerely it would be more easier to make money in Africa than any other country elsewhere. Africa is where the money is. Only the leaders or some of the leaders are simple stupid and ignorant. All these currupt leaders, who rigg their way into the office should be flushed out and then make way for younger generation who understand the world of today and the right thing to do, in other to make things work for the people. Just to redress the country and make it worth living. People will stop going abroad in search of greener life.

We missionaries who are working with refugees in our mission, it's just crazy to hear their ordeals before entering this coutries...many illegally in these countries....so the greatest call is to improve our structures

How do we know before they step foot in the US if they are convicted murderers or people that have a history of trafficking people? Can anybody interview these people and get a feel for why they are fine with sleeping on the streets and if they know if a lot of the people coming here are dangerous? I've seen 4 interviews all by citizens and they all said they have considered going back home because there are so many cartel people being planted all around the United States. I understand some of these people want a better life and that's fine..just please allow yourself to be background checked enough to make sure you aren't a danger to any of the citizens of this country

the biggest challenge with most people is comfort, threiving abroad requires more than just one job. If you have gone to hustle please forget about comfort. 2ndly if you are going to canada make sure you have someone who is gonna shelter you for a few months as you stablize, or help you figure out your next step and also have a few bucks on you, otherwise you will die on the streets. And then once you find a job, please subsidize the costs, you can share an apartment with someone, cook your own food.\nlastly people should know that much as canada is a rich country, it also has poor people living there.....inclusive of beggers. I think you should just forget about the negative comments for the people who are not doing well....

People in Toronto are rude and soon this city will be like Detroit US not safe to be there .Very very expensive living for nothing special !I hate this city .All Canada is going down the hill not just Toronto .Governament should creat programs to make live attractive outside major cities so the new immigrants can spread and disparse all over the country that still empty ,not all fight for a studio to live in already crowded cities .

My nana is from the UK originally and she has been living in Canada for 40+ years now and still has not become a Canadian citizen, not because she couldn't but because she never had to. She gave birth to my mom in Canada making my mom Canadian. I was born in the United States but since my mom was a Canadian citizen I was also a Canadian citizen. A lot of people like to bring up the housing crisis as a potential downside to having a bunch of immigrants but that just isn't the case. We have one of the lowest population densities of all of the countries in the world, and yet we all choose to live in high concentration areas and those that own the land in and around those concentrated areas know they can charge whatever they want because if you're not near the main 1-3 cities in your province it drastically cuts down on your land's value as far as housing goes so there is no incentive for anyone to build housing out there. Build more houses, we have the space. Figger it out.

Sadly, you have essentially described Vancouver as well. The elephant in the room is immigration. When you count refugees, immigrants, international students, etc. there are about 1 million people coming to the country annually! Even in the 1990s, CSIS even warned the government that high immigration would lead to a housing crisis. And that’s really sad as immigration has now tuned into a net negative for Canada. I personally think it is an invasion at this point. And things are far worse than the 1990s. Honestly, if I wasn’t settled in a place I bought near Vancouver 20 years ago, my family and I would have to seriously make other plans!

I would much rather live in the USA, just way more things to do, can live in any climate I want, more fun, more outgoing people. People view America though the lens of the media, which only talks about the bad and people get brainwashed by this. No other country works so well with the amount of diversity America has (Canada is not close), it is a very tolerant country, we even broadcast individual instances of racism to the whole world, no other country does that. I make more money here, more opportunities. Just my opinion though, to each their own, I have a blast in America.

There are more job opportunities in Canada compared to any country in Africa. However, many people make the mistake of obtaining a tourist visa and expecting to find employment. It is important to note that Canada has strict regulations when it comes to securing a job with a visitor visa.

You can't just get clips on tick tok and make a story that are very uninformed. How do you expect people who came a month ago as refugees to have a job? This does not happen in any country. That notion of going as an expert does not hold either in Canada. People are misinformed about moving abroad, they need to talk to people who live in a particular country, do good reach and find out why they need to move to any country first before moving. Thanks Lynn for bringing this up. I am a Kenyan living in Canada. You highlighted the most important thing- due diligence. There are a lot of people that come here with a promise of a better life and the notion is that it’s instant. I want to confirm to you that it’s better life, but it’s not instant. You have to put in the work and prove your worth. You have to gain Canadian experience to get a decent job. Also be ready to go back to school and upgrade your skills. There are jobs here zinaitwa Trades. These are the jobs that we don’t value at home but pay amazingly well here. Construction, Electricians, Plumbers, Mechanics, Carpentry, Welding, Hairdressers, Tailors.. Those are very valued skills here- if you can invest in learning these trades but pia ukikuja hapa you have to convert your certs to Canadian ones by doing an exam or going back to school . If you are into office jobs, make sure you have market relevant skills that align to this country. Be ready to embrace the digital revolution and mpende hesabu. Accounting is very much valued here. The secret is be ready to start from the bottom, be ready to upgrade yourself, be ready to work like you’ve never worked before… You will make it eventually .. Mungu mbele! \nI am confirming that we are going through a recession here and as per the market trends, it’s only going to get worser until we get to a point of stabilization. The housing market is crazy, food costs and gas (fuel)costs are off the roof .. it’s not easy. So if you have a good job in Kenya, hold onto it for now until things get better ( due diligence /research) .. Make sure you have the right visa that allows you to work here. That visitors visa theory is not working anymore. \nOverall Canada is a good country with lots of opportunities but it’s not for the faint hearted. \nLastly, be prepared for the harsh winters and days of severe loneliness- Si lakini ni life? I live in Canada as a Kenyan and I have been here for sometime .I work as a HR/Payroll Specialist also certified in the field. The problem is not Canada , Canada is a very good county which I love and I am gland God gave me the Opportunity to Come and settle here with my family.. The problem with some people coming here is lacking of knowledge how Canada works .It’s system is very far from how things work in Dubai or Gulf countries. A lot people are thinking than you can just come and get any job even without proper papers or you can earn a lot of money and then build wealth quickly. Which is A BIG FAT LIE. The tax in Canada keeps you humble. That is how Canada funds it's high end life many admire and want to be part of. The more you work in Canada the more tax you pay and many don't know this, and it is one of the main reasons why a lot of people start to regrets, because they realize there effort of working hard is not paying as they hoped. Another thing in Canada is next to impossible to get jobs or rent a place without proper paper work, like work permit, It is not like USA where you can use someone else papers to work. the The main available jobs , easy to get , don’t pay much. And also the cost of living is very high in some provinces like Ontario and BC. They hardly recognize credentials from outside unless you came through a job offer. Also because a lot of things in Canada are paid by the government through taxes, like health care, education. Unless you are tax paper with (and I repeat) Paper work, you cant access the benefit, including thee free food available for the needy. \nMany people forget Canada is looking for people to work for them. Not to grow rich and leave. The system is meant to keep you working. Unless you understand how a system of a country works, one will continue to blame it. Let people get well informed and well educated first , before they jump in the river. And it’s not Canada a lone , but any country in the world. Also a lot of these media post about Canada are misleading. And there is also another trap called debt, a lot of people once they getting working, rush to but things they cant afford and it becomes a stress instead of a blessings.\nIf you want to live well and enjoy Canada . One of the top thing to do is, go back to school once you enter in it, get a good education and you will get a good job. Also give yourself time to adjust. REMEMBER you are starting from square one. You are not continuing where you left in Kenya or in the country you get from. Also, the general social climate is not as friendly as those in USA for example. Not many people are willing to help for free. The most jobs advertised in Canada are the lower end paying jobs, which a lot of people pay a lot of money to come for, just to realize the job they left behind was far much better than this, but no one told them that, just because it said $18 hrs and you converted it to your country and looked a lot, doesnt mean it carries the same wait once you earn in from here. The living expense are very different. The reality is, it is not where you are , but whom you are and determination knows no barrier. Anyone who will trust God for help, work hard/smart and be patience in life, they will make. It might take longer than they expect, but they will get their eventually.

As many people has said in the comments section. Foreign countries are not easy especially for new immigrants. One has to have the right documentation to be able to live and work. People definitely has to do their research before paying those agents thousands of dollars and empty promises about Canada. Jobs are there but you have to be skilled, otherwise one will end up in factory Jobs where they pay minimum wages making it extremely difficult to make ends meet.

1. Canada's immigration is primarily skilled labour. Non- skilled labour is imported mostly from the Carribean countries especially Jamaica and you have to leave every year and come back in the next. So, that can be disruptive, but I've met Jamaican's who've been on those programs and done well as well as those who haven't.\n2. If you come to Canada illegally utakipata. Be prepared to hustle for long.\n3. Since Covid everything has become very expensive especially housing. \n4. The videos you've shown of people sleeping outside is because of an increase in the influx of refugees wanting to come to Canada. Refugee shelters are allocated money in the budget for what the Govt estimates will be the number of refugees they'll take in, but there's been an influx lately.\n- A point to note though, ALL refugees Canada received from Ukraine had jobs within 2 months. Why? very skilled labour.\n- Canada's refugee policy is much more lenient than in the US and thus most refugees have been coming to Canada even from the US. The US ones have since been blocked by an agreement signed by both countries.\n5. Are there jobs in Canada? YES, but they require certain skills. The good thing is that once you get one, its the beggining of good fortunes.\n6. If you have skilled qualifications, be prepared to start at a lower level than you are used to and claw your way up. Just don't expect to start where you left off. A Nigerian friend of mine who had performed several surgeries in Nigeria could not be hired until he went back to get certified here in Canada. He has since joined the medical field after going back to school.\n\nAll in all, research, research, research before you make any move.

All I can say after 12+ years in Germany ?? ( just like I always tell people on my channel), people have to learn and accept that much as there are opportunities in first world nations, you must work hard and strategically ( integrate, acquire knowledge) for you to be able to make it.\n2-As regards Canada just like in Europe, the countries are overwhelmed especially as a result of the Corona pandemic and inflation.\n3-If you relocate illegally, you are definitely going to have it very rough!\n\nUnfortunately people are being scammed because they are desperate and ignorant! It truly breaks my heart and I hope through awareness and empowerment, we can educate people.

Lynn the problem is people don’t make their own research. Even if you show this, people are going to still go there Lynn. Just like the girls who go to the the Arabic countries even when they see what happens to the girls who go there. People are desperate and just hope for the best I guess. But all countries are struggling after the pandemic ? and some are also struggling with the people coming in illegally with boats. Europe and the USA are struggling with thousands of people coming in daily, which means the governments have to support all these people before their cases are being worked on. So they are working hard to send people back that are not coming from a country with war. Also means the jobs that don’t demand high education are on very competitive. Canada and some of the developed countries only want highly educated people with skills. Who can start working right away and contribute to the society of course through paying taxes and taking care of their families. But the struggle is real.

Some Kenyans or Africans for that matter are born believing tgat to make it you must go abroad. Not everyone is ever lucky. And please do background checks. Some social media posts are not true. Some are made with the aim of getting more people to join these agencies. Work hsrd in your country. Another thing, even if you are an expert they still treat as an african not onenof them. Money isn't everything- we leave it here. But go see the world if you can afford....?

Lynn thanks for this information..Am outside the country and yesterday I was talking with my brother in Kenya who had just been denied a visa to go to a certain country.And those are exactly the words I told him, I think it's high time people started staying in their own countries and using the little money they have to try make it work...

The truth is Canada USA uk this countries are going down because of the influx of immigrants seeking asylum, they have tried years and years taking in people.\nThe living conditions have collapsed and everything has just become expensive.\nPeople back in Africa need to understand that when we tell you not to come to the west is because we’ve experienced hardships and are trapped. \nIt’s easy to get in but difficult to come out,so it’s better you don’t enter at all because now you face challenges of exiting. \n\nIf you’re doing well at home, have a car a house/piece of land and a stable job, stay at home, don’t make the same mistake that some of us made and now we’re trapped.\nOn the other hand if you’re unemployed and young you may come and test the waters.\nJust so you know , it’s not easy being a foreigner.

Canada is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. When you vote for countries in terms of beauty they look at different criteria to make your judgement.\n2. Canada doesn’t have green card like the US but it takes strictly professionals. It wants people who can grow the economy not suckers of the economy, (free loaders)\n3. The medical system is free and one of the best in the Western world \n4. The few lower jobs in Canada are reserved for countries like Asia and Mexico their government has negotiated on their behalf. Eg Mexicans work well in the agriculture centres and Asians do nanny jobs but other any professionals from those countries can come in.\n5 The weather in Canada is not human friendly

Lyn kenya is good, very good. People leave Kenya coz they are no jobs. Infact if there were jobs here, believe me, Kenyans couldn't leave their country. Majority who have succeeded to leave and are making it there, all are coming back to invest here coz we love our country. I wish things could change to make our country conducive to everyone. Canadians are smart with procedures, regulations, and laws. Their red tape will make even a qualified doctor give up and turn to be a taxi driver. There is no way you can work in canada without the right papers. People spend years repeating education they completed so as to get certified to work. People may be silent, but canada is one of the most expensive countries on earth. I got a rude shock when I went visiting, and I can assure you to burn your fingers if you go there and assume it's like the USA where you can work jini ya mwamba.
