The kind of deportation Trump has been talking about has gone beyond people that are here illegally. Trump has expanded it to include what he calls 'undocumented' migrants. That group includes people waiting for their asylum hearings, DACA recipients and protected status migrants/refugees, and people that have already had their asylum hearings, but are awaiting their citizenship hearings. \nAs for the narrative about 'murderers' and 'violent/horrible' criminals being in our country, it's like....wait...what??? Now, if you KNOW a person is a convicted murderer or horrible criminal, WHY would you allow them into or allow them to stay in this country to begin with? And, you'd kind of have to allow them to stay, otherwise, how the hell would you know how many of them are here?? Or who they are?? You can bet your butt that Pres. Biden didn't allow any people like this, that weren't in our prison system, yet 'known' to remain on US soil. That's not how it works! Not to mention, a large portion of the 13 to 15,000 number that Trump and the Right keep tossing out there, are from when Trump was in office! NOT during Pres. Biden's administration! \nIt's all been a lie manufactured for one purpose: to scare monger Trump's base. And it worked. Now Trump 'has a mandate' to put on an insane, cruel, probably hugely illegal 'show', of him rounding up large numbers of people and shipping them off to who the hell knows where..... whether they were here illegally or not. (he's already vowed to deport the 20,000 Haitians in Springfield, even tho they entered the country, LEGALLY, while TRUMP was president! HE is the one that signed their protected status into law!) Trump's deportation extravaganza is going to be ugly, brutal, bloody, grim and senselessly cruel, to a great many people that more likely than not, have no reason to be deported.

I also came to Canada in 2006 as an immigrant with my 2 bags and started my new life with empty handed which almost all Indians had started on their time. Yes it’s very hard to adopt other cultures 100% for first generation. But have you think how this new immigrants have their own house and good jobs or business. Why their kids achieved higher education without any loan because their parents worked 7 days without looking around so called culture. They believe in work hard and focus on their family and kids and in extra time visit temple or Gurudwara just to keep live their believes. Do you know how many places where you find 3 times free hot food for everyone in Brampton at Gurudwara and Temple without looking at his originality. \nDon’t think the immigrants are coming here are poor in their country or helpless like refugees. Most of are millionaires in India but in Indian culture the stupid thoughts is to earn for next 7 generations so because of that greediness they work here 7 days and that’s why they are not homeless. As they have some values of their Indian culture they have not drug addictions.\nNot 100% Indian are good and loyal or honest. Yes, white people came to the new world and conquered the natives. For the next few hundred years they built western society as we know it. They were immigrants from different places, but they were mostly homogeniously white, and more importantly, they had commonality in their social norms, holidays, cultures, laws and religion. Mostly English, Irish, Scottish, French, German, polish, etc. -- they blended well and eventually created their own unique shared identities in Canada and United States. Things were stable and people were happy. Immigrants continued to flow, but in smaller numbers over greater lengths of time. This allowed time for integration, learning the common language, finding decent employment and housing, ect. Then Immigrants from vastly different cultures started arriving and in greater numbers, and greater rates... Job availability, housing, educational/medical services, travel infratructure could not keep pace with the sheer speed and amount of people flooding in. Therefore, everything and everyone suffered, and it isn't stopping.

This isn't just a white or black thing it's an out of control immigration system where people use loopholes in the system to gain residency. The metrics of the majority of new immigrants come from the Middle East and India how can anyone not notice the concern that many have been expressing for a decade. Canadians aren't against immigrants it's that we didn't expect to just let anyone in without actually knowing how to speak English or have etiquette and follow laws. Many have concerns that many of the new comers can't even speak English yet they have license to drive and how do we get around most bend the rules or the law. Myself I've notice a skyrocketing scam scheme and how can you not equate that to the rise in our broken immigration policy. The last time I heard you had to have certain criteria to be considered to immigrate and why is that some countries like from the South Pacific you need to know English have money in the bank and a skill or degree on a list of acceptable qualifications. So many who can't even read or write English have jobs, drive a car, then to make matters worse have housing yet we have a crisis? Most Canadians see the pattern and most are educated enough to know there is something to be said, loopholes and when they find it they abuse the system.
