I don't believe 1 single kid in Canada has ever actually shot their friend or themselves and I don't recall any school shootings in Canada. Only one that comes to mind was the college massacre in like the 70s that I believe changed gun laws her for the better.

I just got off work and am eating a bowl of ramen with corn. I have a college degree with payments out the A$$ for rent, food, insurance and childcare. I have insurance through my work that costs me A TON. In a small apt. What is happening? I really just wish I hit the border and knew spanish. I love how NY is opening college dorm housing for free with food, tax free employees for those willing to BEND the laws, free insurance for families. What the @#$^@#$^@ is happening. For me, I live in Vancouver, but when I'm done college, I'm hoping to find a job in Seattle and immigrate there. They recently opened up a Pokemon HQ there, Nintendo's hiring, Seattle's the HQ of Bungie, the maker of the Destiny games and much more! I feel like it's easier to find a job in the US than in Canada. In fact, my college instructor said so. There's more jobs there than in this small town. I'm heading towards SFU and I'm hoping to land a few coops, including one in Seattle to see if I like it there. And no, I do not care about healthcare, mass shootings or politics. The chances of you randomly being shot is about the same as getting ran over by a car. For healthcare, it's usually provided by your employer. But otherwise, you can buy it yourself as there's many options to choose from. Some of them are really good, but people are just overgeneralizing everything. My hope is that employment will eventually lead to permanent residency. Then, I can go buy a house in Texas, Florida or Colorado where it's much cheaper than Vancouver

Life is not fair, you graduated from Sheridan Collage and you have this kind of life, one of the worst, that only people who drop out of school goes to that college.

Finally the truth about this ruthless business of making money off poor kids who are sold a dream of good life and send to live a life which is actually a nightmares. I was a student in Canada and seen this first hand. Students packed in rooms and colleges cancelling semesters for new students. This is all true. Even the best colleges do that. Every Indian who wants to go to Canada take this as a warning plz. McDonalds something most American people know …for one person only it can be around 15 - 20 bucks, in Venezuela, and I think minimum wage rn is around 6.15 bucks and if it’s good it can be around 20 - 30 A MONTH, now apply this formula to EVERYTHING, housing, bills, expenses and I think things in Venezuela for a little bit better not that long ago,so it was worst than what I just told you, imagine you finish college you have somehow of a decent life and for things you don’t understand and no one advise you of, next week your job, money is not even half of the value it had last week, imagine if it was you and your family, your kids…I don’t have kids but I know my mom would’ve done anything for trying and give me not even a luxurious life, but a kinda decent life, and I know most of people would’ve done the same, and not only for your kids, also your mom, dad, sisters, brothers and even YOURSELF…again, I’m not saying this is correct or it’s not I’m just saying at the end our surrounding make us do whatever we are doing….I get you not being okay with this, but try to be comprensible and not go straight into hate for this people. \n\nUnfortunately I wouldn’t imagine anything to solve this problem and I hope something better comes for the entire world right now …but I just doubt it…

Close the border. Americans tax dollars shouldn't have to pay for refugees when they're struggling to get by themselves. People can't afford to go to college in the U.S., it's so expensive. Cost of living goes up all the time. I have multiple degrees and can't really find a job and when I do, they always want to pay very low and def much lower than they started your counterparts at. There's a ridiculous homeless issue in the U.S. where I've met plenty that apply for jobs all the time and do not get hired. They even ask random people if they can work for them just for food, literally just for food. There are people everywhere that take things for granted including the U.S. but that's not the issue here. There are U.S. leaders that steal your money in taxes and retirement funds then misuse the funds. How is it fair for a hard working individual to have 30% of their gross removed from there paycheck then still required to pay the government when filing income taxes. You can buy a house, pay it off and never own it. The government is your forever landlord because property taxes are always due and are increased whenever authorities want them increased. Every country has serious issues.

Tx is already overwhelmed with ppl who crossed into the US illegally who cant get jobs bc they have no legal right to work here. In Texas it’s hard enough to get a job if you’re not bilingual. And by bilingual I mean strictly English and Spanish. French, German any other language doesn’t matter if you can speak it. But that’s the American policy.. we send our hard earned money to other countries to help them while we suffer and on top of that we now give our American jobs to immigrants so the can better themselves. Let’s forget about all the homeless vets. Nowadays a college education doesn’t even make a difference anymore.
