Even Canadian born Indians are annoyed theres too many Indian immigrants entering Canada. Most are useless students who apply to B-rated colleges like Algoma or Conestoga (who makes millions off of them), and then dont get good paying jobs afterwards. Because they studied useless programs. These Indian students use college as a loophole to gain fast PR in Canada. Majority of them are scammers. Some become nurses and truckers because thats where the demand is. Then they sponser their entire families from India. This contibutes to over population growth, where the demand is high, and housing supply is low. Families will also pool their money together to buy houses. Problem: The Government Allows it.

I've wanted to move to Canada since my childhood. The first time I tried was when I was 22 years old; I received a scholarship for Humber College. Unfortunately, my dream was postponed because I broke my leg. I attempted again at 25 years old, but I didn't have enough money for a comfortable immigration process. So, I decided to accumulate more funds and try again.\n\nNow, at 30 years old, I find myself in a different situation. I've just bought a big house, and I'm living a simple, calm life in Eastern Europe. Here, I have everything I need: a safe environment, the freedom to travel wherever I want, and minimal taxes in my industry. Healthcare is excellent, with no waiting times, and the food is amazing.\n\nDespite these comforts, I still have the opportunity to move to Canada. But I find myself questioning why I was so obsessed with it since childhood. I realize that I earn more in my home country than the average Canadian, even after taxes and rent. Perhaps Canada nowadays is more appealing to individuals from India, the Middle East, and Africa. If I were from these regions, I might still consider moving there. However, moving from Europe to Canada seems like the biggest mistake I could make right now. \n\nCons of Canada: 1) Misconception about communism. 2) High taxes, up to 50% in some cases. 3) Expensive rents(we all know u won't be able to buy anything decent there. 4) Perception of social conformity among Canadians, where sensitive topics may not be openly discussed for fear of judgment. 5) Disparity between the country's overall wealth and the financial struggles faced by some citizens.\n\nPros of Canada: well, I didn't find anything I could not find in other countries developed countries.

Exactly , I am a minority myself but when my kids and I came back from our vacation in Florida I have exactly the same feeling .. did I land in India or Canada . I live in Richmond Hill ont and over here people of Middle Eastern descent is everywhere and even the welcome centre here is filled with them . I was here in the early 80s and so much has changed . Where did the other Canadians come from? Europe. The original Canadians have all been disenfranchised from their land. If anyone should be complaining it is them. Brampton is Indian Punjabi majority city. India has many religions and cultures but majority in Brampton are from Punjab region of India mostly Sikh and Hindu. For last 2 years, lot of students came from India and most likely they will return to India after studies are done. This is total fault of Canadian government for allowing so many people of same ethnicity, I have no idea how their quota works. I'm an immigrant myself, came here in 1996 but honestly Canada is not what it used to be.

I came as an immigrant from India in 1968. I arrived in Canada on Thursday and started my full time as a nurse and I have been paying my taxes ever since . I can proudly say that I contribution to health care was greatly recognized. I must agree that when you live in Canada one must adopt to Canadian culture. My family is proud to be Canadians.

Canada has very large aging population. And they are bringing more immigrants to pay tax to sustain the economy. Moreover India is the world's largest population so of course when they are inviting more immigrants to boost Canadian economy it is going to be Indian population only. The worst part of this mass student fraud immigration scam is that it is essentially creating a class of indentured servants in Canada. Where i live, wealthy indians buy a franchise, they then get permits for foreign workers in india, who they CHARGE under the table of to 40k (their families life savings) for the permit to come work in their franchise. They also rent to for or 5 of them ONE ROOM to share, rent being deducted from their pay. They are then exploited and told if they complain they will be deported with no money and shame their families back home...its messed up and it's 100% happening in every canadian city. If you notice the indian worker at the fast food joint isnt too happy, it may be because they are a literal slave. Very progressive!

When I passed my Post Graduation in 70' s from London University ( in Engineering) Canadian Embassy gave me Visa and One way ticket for free. While I was in Embassy waiting .. I saw some colorful journals and green in summer mounds of snow in winter. I had grown up Central Indian Climate. 5 years in England still kept me alienated environ cold weather and Culture. Most disturbing was visible Brown skin foreigners for ever.....at 2nd tier of Society ,..... after getting 4 month Valid visa I started probing fron friends who had earlier migrated to Canada. Living, impediment of long very cold winter, 1970's Canada was still racist and Parliament had strong bill waiting to stop colored immigrants and keep country white...Then in 1975 the Bill was voted down. For the reason that old white generation was aging and demanding Pension and Health Care. Welfare Chest was showing bottom and had to be replenished by tax money. Young tax payers were needed. India, China and Black Carribian were overflowing with young workers...so they had swollow Colored immigrants. Country was the largest but most commercia cities are at border of America, because north is brutal cold. Canada could not build population. 30m (10% of USA.) And Economically behind CA$= 0.80USD. Let the Visa expire...and went back to my old country to Start my Consultancy office. Lived in upper middle class tier and retiring with comfortable cushion to survive . Saw the whole world during past decades of active life... Including Canada US China . Don't regret living among brown people where my roots are. No body looks at me as colored foreigner. Brampton was nice place to live back in the day. Now it is a shithole, infested with crime, violence and everything else. Toronto has been well upon its way there for more than a decade . I guess cultural enrichment and diversity struck again. \n\nThis what happens when a country no longer controls its borders and has no say as to who comes in and how many. Canadians are living those end results and consequences in real time. The thing is that too many of them voted for this and are too passive, apathetic or spineless to say or do anything. What are the colleges, and universities issuing more and more study permits, and offer letters for one particular country? Who is taking the responsibility? \nNobody. \n\n2. Who let them build large temples, mosques and statues in this country? Who permitted to celebrate a mass rallying on public roads? Who is permitted to make a loud noise in a public place? \n\n3. Why are so-called Canadians (especially younger) not getting a higher education? Not willing to get a master's, or Ph.D.’s or even high school education. Why they are willing to get minimum-wage jobs? \n\n4. Why do these Canadians depend on social welfare system even if they can contribute their talent, and labour to this beautiful country? \n\n5. Why do we as a country face a lack of productivity issue rather than our south neighbour USA?\n\nI'm also an immigrant who came to this wonderful country (again I'm not Indian). But what I see, is nobody going to take responsibility for this social, economic and political issue. Liberals complain to conservatives, conservatives point to liberals and so on. But I would say both parties and Canadians let them play their games on this soil now they blame each other. \n\nOne last thing, I respect Canadian culture that’s why I'm in this country. I live in a town in a different province and am a white Canadian. I personally find Indians too be nice and pleasant (generalizing I know). \n\nI have an Indian business partner who I once told a house on my street was for sale. He said, and I quote “I moved away from India.. why would I move back?” \n\nThat tells you how many are here. \n\nPersonally I like multiculturalism but the numbers from India are making it less multicultural.

I would like to provide a background to all the native Canadians who are wondering why the East Indian population is growing in Canada they are lot of education consultants back in India who market Canada as a lucrative country to immigrate brownie points for studying to get PR free healthcare free education till grade 12 so everyone is trying their best to come to Canada on a student visa.Once students come on a student visa they need to work 20 hours a week which they are legally allowed to work on international student visa so locals feel they are taking their jobs In US international students are only allowed to work on campus despite so many job opportunities.Colleges in Canada charge 4-5 times tuition which is profitable to the education industry and provincial government.Once these students Graduate they get open work permit where they can gain Canadian work experience and apply for PR and citizenship eventually.All this benefits the government and the educational institutions overall in terms of taxes and revenue..
