Fortunately, life always opens doors and new avenues for us where we learn much more and get to know the other side of life, the side of misery, suffering and homelessness. \nWhen we look at the full circle of life, for the first time we see life in a certain whole. Then we don't see one or another country as our own or someone else's, but as rooms where we get the opportunity to learn some parts of a whole life. \nThis story of yours is only a segment of life to come. Then you won't be able to recognize yourself at this moment and you will wonder at your inability at this moment to see and understand something more than life. \nFortunately, this is the case with all of us and every human being on this planet today looks, sees and understands life only from one position of that full circle. \nThose who already have a full circle of experiences can give us a better and more complete understanding. On this planet, everything is in cycles at every point of it and in every single country. \nWhat did I see in your video story? \nA lot, but nothing special. This is a girl in Canada who is infatuated with the material side, who is now in the phase of a little deeper understanding of cyclical change, so her life is losing that excitement little by little. \nMy greetings with the note that I am not glad that you are feeling and touching the somewhat greater uncertainty of life, but at the same time, I am very glad that, for your own greatest good, you are beginning to feel the slightly harder side of life.

The question is, where do you go, because what happened in Canada is about to happen all over the Western world, we now see what is happening in the UK.

Too many Indians are flooding Canada, and Canadians don't like it. You look left, you look right, you look in front, you see Indians. Indian culture does not jive with Western culture.\nCanada ought to have a per country equal quota system per year.\nNO more mass immigration.

I was shocked when I visited Canada 30 years ago. There were a notable amount of Asian and Third World immigrants. Whole neighborhoods of Indians with their service vans parked. \n Fear and distrust were already noticeable everywhere. Americans considered Canadians left-wing at that time. Today we see the result of decades of Canadian socialism and unbridled immigration. All the Canadians' own choice, they deserve the situation they find themselves in and the US is on the same path.

Don’t forget central banks have created hundreds of billions of dollars for the covid and before that, to try to boost the eaconomy. This money has mostly been concentrated in fewer hands. I would be interested to see who owns most of the houses in canada and wester countries, and more important, the trend. Money goes to money. I have been shocked to learn how Canadians have given up r surrended their freedoms to the politicians. Legalizing hard drugs and the permissive application of the law is disturbing. I've always had a high regard for Canada, but giving up the right to protect yourself or your family is too much, too draconian. And the Universal Health Care is great, if you are healthy, but if you are sick or hurt- not so much. Wishing you luck finding a better culture. ( I have been equally shocked at Australia. Remember seeing three policemen arresting a young woman, quietly reading a book in a park, in the sun? That was totally shocking to me. People so easily give up their personal freedoms to the Government).

I am a Serbian and Canadian living in Canada for the last 24 years. I love \nthis country I respect this country but my God is so much different than it used to be or it is me. This summer I went with my kids and wife to 6 different countries in Europe Eastern Europe and Central and have seen 2 alcoholic then I come to Canada I see thousands of drug addicts on the street. everything is overpriced ppl do not enjoy in here. When I came in 2000 Serbian economy was low due to the war now it is better and Canadian economy is worse so the gap is very small. you need to make 6000$ to live just ok and I do live well but there is always but. I call it a pressure cooker, I wish all Canadian travel abroad a bit just to realize that they were lied too and that there's a lot of bs. I can give you an example: Condo in Belgrade same size property tax is 200$ per year condo in Qc Gatineau 2500$ plus condo fees 400$ per month basically 7000$ wasted for what? no dr wholes on the street broken system. It will be for sale. I agree paying taxes on my house where I live but for rental property when you deduct all the expenses you invested so much money without any profit. the one that works and the one that scams the system make the same amount of money and we live approx the same. something is wrong there. I will live for many years to come but definitely not spending my whole life here due to many circumstances and expenses. Family values are getting killed and I have issues with that. The more I was pushed to change the more I went to church and believed in old fashioned traditional values. As you said I will always be grateful for what I made but working hard for two jobs in the last 20 years I would make that somewhere else too. Canada has changed too much since I came that's for sure. What triggers me the most fake approach when ppl say I make 100k wow then you didn't get that, that is only on the pay stub. how much did you get 50k that is the real money then you need to add deductions house tax this tax, sewage, water it comes less and less and then you realize that in reality you make more but you spend so much more with less quality of life. who cares how much you make the question is how do you live with the amount that you make.?

We would travel to Canada a couple times a year, we would see down ward trends, the last time in Toronto, to see the Monet show the city smelled bad. Not back since.

So agree with you Alina! We came to Canada from Ukraine in 2009, we were around the same age you are now. We came to Saskatchewan, settled happily in Saskatoon and we really liked this city despite harsh winters. Unfortunately, bcos of rising living costs, homelessness, and addictions issues happening in a city right now, had to move to a smaller city in SK in 2021. Realizing, we made the right choice while listening to friends who have to pick up extra shifts and find one more job to afford things they used to afford in the past with no problems. It's all about surviving now, not about living. If I had a choice, I would have stayed in Saskatoon, and wouldn't have moved to a smaller place just to be able to go on vacation. Too bad, you have to choose one or the other now. We are contemplating about our next step as well. It might be one of Eastern European countries, we'll see what the future holds for us. The western politicians are really not very good at governing. The problem you see nowadays in the west is essentially the same problem the west have created all over the world in the past. It is about exploiting other people. Just that they even have to exploit their own people. But their own people get used to the nice life they have had. And all the politicians can do is tax more and more. US and Canada still have a lot of resources. Europe may be the problems since they don't have resources or labors.

I was a soldier, was deployed and thought I was fighting for Canadian values. Now I sit at home and watch as my country crumble down around me. I'm a wounded/mildly disabled Vet. I got wounded again back in Canada by getting my leg stabbed/slashed. I waited 4 years for imaging, and routinely have to wait 2 weeks to see a doctor for a 5 minute visit. Bombed-out roads in Syria are no worse than the pothole-infested streets. Under the streets, we have failing water mains.\nOur current government has no compass, we have no direction and our priorities are random and trivial. I have started referring to our country as Can'tada due to the seemingly endless things we can't seem to do.

Agree with the mass immigration has screwed things up...I am PR turned Canadian citizen now....the things are gone worse in last 2 years....I am not against immigration as I am PR immigrant too...certainly Canada needs skilled workers but the things getting worse by mass immigration masking skilled work immigration...Woking hard contributing to the society and country all it matters...but I can't see all my tax money going to refugees and asylums....this should stop.. immigration needs to be halted and country should go to repair mode else it would a let down for future generations and there is no stop for Canadians migrating to other countries for better life...india thought culture to the world...whats going wrong...respecting culture and people is what we indians are...

What is so crazy if you have VPN and a couple of minor technologies you can watch social media from around the world, using easy technology you can hear and see what people are saying, thinking and doing all over the world. This is a Canada specific video but this same video, almost exactly that same issues are playing out all over the world! Pick a country and people want to leave.. to get to the greener grass on the other side.. that other place, other country or culture where things are better, more like they used to be, the entire planet is in a state of flux!! Everyone is trying to run away from something bad.. makes sense.. just the illogical part is where you are going has same stuff just different levels of progress!!

I fully agree with you. The International Students, most of them have no manners and are rude. I use public transport. Some don't pay fares, talk loudly in their language either on the phones or in a group. They push to get in or out of the buses. They have taken away jobs from our youth, who are citizens of Canada. They signed on the documents that they would go back to their country after studies, but NO, they want PR. That was their intention in the first place. They are inconsiderate of others. They have no respect for others. It's just them. How can we say they are the future generation of this country, who also cheat the system. There are also some Indians, Muslims who have recently, I would say 10-12 years moved to Canada, do the same as above, including loud music in their cars, noisy cars, litter and spit, also spit red liquid on the grounds, etc., it is annoying. They come here thinking they can do whatever they want to do it's their freedom in a free country. We also see that there are scammers from Call Centres in India who have scammed so many innocent Canadians, including some Seniors. Then don't blame Canadians who have been here for long, who speak up about this issue. Thanks.

Another thing I hate to see is they have no love for Canada at all. Their allegiance is only with their home country.

Being born in Saskatchewan as well I agree that Canada has suffered immensely in the last decade. I spent the majority of my adult life in Vancouver back when you felt safe everywhere you ventured. Not now, I'm socked at the decline especially the violence and drugs. I've lived in a few other countries over the past 30 years none have surpassed what has happen in Canada. I currently live in the middle east and have never felt safer. The taxation is crazy, the health care system is substandard and getting worse. For those who want to retire, Canada is not very friendly and typically way overpriced. I'm seeing a trend over the last 10 years of people opting for a warmer more friendly climate to spend what should be your years to enjoy life. Something I fear impossible in Canada's current climate!

I speak German language fluently but I chose Canada. Since 2009 I have been living in Canada permanent. Sometimes I see German tourists in Canada and they ask me how come I speak it or maybe lived there but never lived and never been in Germany, only Frankfurt airport. This is my wife's ytb account

And yet it is so much better than the USA. I visit Canada often from the US and was able to transfer my teaching credential to British Columbia. I can see from many Canadian's perspective why they want to leave. Perspective is everything and I feel connected and at home in Canada. I do know about the issues there as I keep up with all the news in most of the provinces but I still love it there. The fact that 45% of Americans were ok with an election being overturned has made me sick. In addition, our social fabric sucks. I started planning my move to Canada about 3 years ago and I should be there soon.

Leaving may solve your problems but only for very short time, because whatever place you end up in, it may be no better, and good deal worse, since you won't be a citizen there. Our country has been destroyed by the past 8 years of the liberal government and the mass immigration. I too am leaving because it makes me so sick to see whats happening. Mass immigration especially 90% from India alone. I have met so many who are going to small places in Canada as they get their PR card faster. \nThen the idiots in our government think its ok for them to bring all their families. I find there is a huge amount of double-speak in your comments, so much so that you sound very insincere. Example: all the praise of Canada, yet you are planning to leave, and with good reason. I've done extensive research on several countries to move to and it's not very difficult to see why so many Canadians (among those who have options) are leaving Canada. Here's one important data point for anyone who is interested: In the OECD's national growth rate projections to 2060 (not a typo, 2060), Canada has placed dead last! There are 38 OECD members. What this means is that the fundamentals are not in place in Canada. The country is now in free fall, as there is not enough wealth creation happening, and it's just not true, as this video suggests, that Canada still offers endless 'opportunities'. Stop the disingenuousness.

Canada's immigration policy is a joke. As the CEO of a multi-national company employing hundreds of people in Canada and ready to invest millions into the Canadian economy, I was waiting for a work permit for three years, and my PR process has already taken two years without seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. \nCanada's IRCC prefers to bring the weak and the vulnerable, which will weaken the economy and the infrastructure even more. While those capable of creating wealth for this country would be looking for the opportunities in the more welcoming economies.

I'm a Canadian and I moved to Asia 20 years ago. My motivations for leaving were the endless winters, the absolute necessity of having a car and two sets of tires, crazy insurance prices, and getting taxed on everything without seeing benefits. Now when I visit I am shocked at the price of everything from food to gas to hotels. In addition, I hear that housing has gone through the roof. Many can't afford to buy and face bidding wars to rent a place. With oil, timber, minerals and more, Canada should not be in this position. The government(s) have really messed things up and need to start reversing these trends now.

I love it how the video conveniently omits the reason why the housing supply is so inadequately low in Canada - real-estate developers and rental agencies lobbying all levels of government to keep zoning laws draconian and to make new construction increadibly difficult. For example, an enormous proportion of Toronto's urban area is still zoned exclusively for single-family housing. The landlords, who are currently extracting record profits from regular people with no sign of decline, are more than happy to shift the blame towards immigrants, and it saddens me to see that respectable media outlets like the Guardian are becoming a part of it.

Why should this country you're fleeing to take you in? Instead of fleeing Canada, why don't you fight for it? Did you vote for the Liberals that are screwing up Canada? Are you just going to do the same in your next host country? Have you ever looked in the mirror? Maybe you're the problem you're fleeing from. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Canada, like the rest of the world, needs to repent. Then they might get the wisdom back to govern properly. It's good that you see the problems of Canada, but you should pay your dues and fight instead of just complaining and fleeing. Rather than immigration crisis, it is infrastructure crisis we are experiencing in Canada's major cities. It does not take a genius to see that even our airports are severely lacking in processing incoming international passengers.

Unless you are extremely rich, it is getting nearly impossible to live a 'good' life here in Canada. The cost of everything keeps going up and up yet the wages don't, and the jobs are beginning to disappear too. I just don't see any future here for myself and I'm making plans to leave also in 3 to 4 years from now.

I was born in Moldova. Brought to Canada against my will while a teenager. Got married in Canada. My kids were born and grew up in Canada, one graduated high school already in Canada and the other one is in grade 10. \nI got a career at TD that I gave up in Canada. Few years ago before quiting my job I told my wife I'm done with Canada.\nI was lucky that moldovans due to historical events before WW2 are allowed to resore their Romanian citizenship and I did that. My kids by law had to restore their EU citizenship as well. \nRight now I'm in Romania and I'm in the process of selling everything in Canada and bringing my wife and kids over. \nIt was the best decision of my life. It's such a breath of fresh air to see that people can live a normal life with normal taxes and life values. \nFor those who are behind, if you have means and ways to move just run while it's not too late. Life is one and don't waste it on corrupt politicians that from boredome and easy money only have one wish: to enslave you mentally, physically and financially. Run while you can.

I was born and grew up in Mississauga Canada, lived here my entire life. I've seen the defecation of this country in the last 10 years under this liberal extremists Trudeau rule. I see no potential anymore to stay in Canada. Yes I can work but i am paying everything to the government and its not like they are putting money into the community, they spend it on themselves, foreigners, to other countries nothing helps Canadas infrastructure. Canada is GONE! it will get worse before it gets better. PP wont be able to change it as its already at a severe loss. move to another country, weather is better, taxes are lower, people are friendlier, crime is less, there are options! people are just too scared or ignorant to go find out, they seem too comfortable or institutionalize here to leave

All are the same, all of the Western countries go down-hill, before they lost the competition to Japan, S Korea, now they lost the competition to China, SE Asia, and South America, that's why you see people in Canada and many developed nations lost their job, what people in Canada need to do is study harder, work harder not being lazy.

I just stumbled across this video. This is my first viewing of one of your videos and it was sad and painful to watch. I was born in Canada to immigrant parents. I grew up on a farm in Alberta. Listening to your memories of growing up resinated with me as that was my experience as well. Fast forward to today, my husband and I left Canada in 2022 and are currently in Mexico. We have thought about a return to Canada but the reports really don't give us hope. We will likely move again someday, but Canada isn't high on that list until something changes. I will look forward to seeing where you have chosen. Thank you for the honesty in this view.

It’s crazy. I know so many ppl who have moved to Canada from abroad and left because they realize they’ve been lied to about the opportunities here. Yet, people still spill into Canada maybe they see a mark country?

Sorry to hear the country you live in and love is not what it used to be. FYI THERE ARE 1.4 BILLION INDIANS IN India. India has a land size of 1/3 the size of Canada. However Canada still can't handle 40 million people compared to 1.4 billion Indians. So this world is making people suffer just because India always had more number of people. India & Africa is one of the oldest countries in this world. Moreover there are a lot of Africans in Canada. Why don't we see news of many africans are in Canada. Or there are many asians in Canada who are not from India. Cause this is just racism towards India. First they take our money through their racist immigration programs. Indians work harder than any of the races in Canada. Then your butchering our people because it's to easy to get away by being racist to a brown just because we are so many.

As much as I could make more money by living in the States no amount of money could make the anxiety of potential school shootings worth it. I know my kids have essentially 0% chance of that in Canada. Also getting cancer won't ruin me and my whole extended family financially. It's a mixed bag, I love aspects of both country and right now the affordability crisis here is awful but with the Liberals out of the way we'll bounce back. I would love to see a Conservatives + NDP + Green Party coalition, let conservatives run economic development, NDP the social programs and Green party be the climate watchdogs.

Progressive liberalism destroys every city and nation. There is only one way out of this mess, but Canada will not succeed because too many people still believe what they see on television instead of what is actually happening.

We've had the USA madly printing money which stokes inflation as well as predatory global corporate cartels using covid as an excuse to collude on raising prices and boosting corporate profits. Then we have US and British corporations using countries like Canada and Australia as cheap mine sites. Finally, we have the property Ponzi scheme which keeps housing out of the reach of young people. In both Canada and Australia, the birth rate has fallen because young people cannot afford to have kids. Both countries maintain their population level via immigration but that con is now falling apart because migrants can see that the game is rigged. Canada and Australia both produce a huge amount of wealth but it doesn't flow to young folks. Old folks who have fat investment portfolios don't want to rock the boat but, by their inaction, they're throwing their country's future under the bus. It's no mystery as to where this path leads. Just take a look at the catastrophically low birth rate in South Korea. Look at Italy with its falling population.

In the 80s and 90s Canada received thousands of immigrants who believed they were living the Canadian dream and obtaining nationality was a great honor, what happened to Canada to get to this point, every year I see dozens of farmers selling their land and emigrating to Brazil, and prospering in soybean plantations and raising cattle, when I ask a Canadian farmer why he came to Brazil, I only see a tear drop and answer Canada is in the past and he needs to guarantee the future of his family.
