I was born, raised and lived in the US until I was 35. When the orange monster was elected I said F this and went to Canada. Best decision I ever made, it's clean, safe, free health care and the people don't just say they're proud Canadians, they show it. It's very community focused up here, we take care of each other. The ONLY thing that sucks in Canada is the food, American wins all day on that one.

obesity is a national past time , mass shootings every week and sometimes every few days, any nut case with a 6th grade education can buy a gun, zero tolerance for your fellow human beings, complete lack of Respect and Responsibility, fast food restaurants are Filthy, Religious and Political Fanatics abound, Education is Very Disappointing, Health Care would bankrupt your average citizen without good health insurance, Far too many people, Prevailing Attitude that your Country is the Greatest ever in spite of all evidence to the contrary , Bullshit Prevails,.........Everywhere, you elected they Biggest crook and Liar in History as your President . i have worked in the US in Communications, I'd move to Central Africa before the States. Your Country Sucks!!!!

Idk I think there’s a bit of a bias here, I feel many of these responses are way over dramatized and are heavily shaped by popular media, rather than necessarily representing reality. Honestly population is the only concern I have with the US appose to Canada, otherwise rural America I feel lines up pretty well with rural Canada, and really that’s all I care about, all urban centres suck ass in my opinion. We’re Getty pretty soft in Canada lately, and it’s kinda’ worrisome, so it’s sometimes reassuring to see Americans dig their heels in a bit. (Not at all saying everything is peachy by any means however)

Lol I lived in the US for 1 year but in the short period of time I lived there (California) I became paranoid. There are so many local crimes that I never feel safe alone. No gun control, health care sucks, crime rate is high, a lot of homeless ppl and no unemployment benefits. Also, streets are dirty. Our taxes might be higher but it really goes to good use obviously.

I'm canadian and I would because (atleast where I am) Healthcare SUCKS I have a broken foot and 3 days I got told to leave walk-in clinics because there was no space for me and i had to wait in the hospital all day. Luckily it ended up being just a hairline fracture and since I had my boyfriend's aircast from when he broke his foot and went through the same thing 2 years ago it was okay. More canadians you'd know die while on waiting list then your believe. And the gun culture I love guns

As a Canadian citizen who moved to France for better opportunities, I fail to recognize any positive things about Canada and its culture and economy. In 2019 most of my friends were struggling graduates who were working minimum wage jobs and living with roommates. A lot of my friends had suicidal thoughts. I was working like a slave in the oil patch for a measly $30k annually. And all of this to live paycheck to paycheck in a boring city in a crappy flat with cockroaches. And the food and climate sucks. And Canadians are the most introverted people on the planet.

Lived in us for 10 years and also Canada for 7. I can 100% say that life in Canada is a whole lot better then USA. Although pay is more in USA, it’s quickly eaten up by all the expenses and trust me when I say you will spend a ton. Your entire city you live in will most likely try to eat away as much of your wallet as you can. People and going outside is just better in Canada. Usa really really sucks apart from pay, especially for kids unless you live in an expensive city. People are Riddled with hate and it’s not safe for kids to play outside because something is def out to get them. Usually it’s a car or a criminal. One thing I’ve noticed is kids in USA end up doing drugs a whole lot more, because there’s not much for the kids to do. Kids can’t spend much and can’t travel far or at all, so they resort to drugs. With my hs done in highschool, a huge majority of the schools were doing one or another sort of drug. Also I’m back in Canada because life as a student is just a whole lot better then the snaky system of USA. Both suck in their own ways though, Canada a whole lot less, plan to move out to an eastern country anywya tjough.

Poor people. So heartbreaking. So glad I won the luck of the draw and was born here. So easy to judge them from the comfort of our homes and our hopeful futures. You have to pay the government their share for everything, private business isn’t legal without government permission, can’t hunt/fish without government involvement, can’t build a self sufficient home without government involvement and regulation. Antibiotics and anti diarrheal and any REAL medicine that isn’t some deadly pharmaceutical is federally controlled and not accessible to the general public, historical and scientific information is withheld from the population. We even made up our own version of history just to brainwash these past few generations. And it worked, because people have had the collective knowledge of human history at their fingertips since the late 2000s…. It’s called the fucking internet, And maybe 5% of Americans took advantage of that and informed themselves. The other 95% just soaked up YT and Tik Tok while they make repugnant Baaa Baa claims about the left and right. Just constantly feeding into this division THEY created. The left and right are owned by THE SAME PEOPLE and the these people put who they want in office. There’s underlying parts of our government that fight this, and get people they don’t particularly like in the door. Like the Kennedy’s and Trump but we have no value in voting. The truth is we are the sovereign people, and we hold sovereignty over this country, and it’s our goddamn responsibility to fight the fucking corruption that’s in our government. And we’re just a nation of pussies, we have legislation called the 2A that explains in detail those responsibilities. The 2A was never about guns, it was about protecting the republic. Look at the world right now, the people in countries that don’t have legislation like the 2A are rising against their governments.
