The biggest problem Canada has, is the people have intentionally been dumbed down to the point they are easily convinced to vote for a politically correct moron like Justin Trudeau who has never had a single full-time job in his life and who thought it would be great for his first full-time job to be the leader of a G7 country. People voted for him because he was cute, had nice hair and everybody had been sold a bill of goods that his father who was a long-time Prime Minister was wonderful but who actually was a dictator-loving Marxist who started the destruction of Canada. The Trudeaus and Liberal Party were/are supported by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation which is the tax payer funded propaganda arm of the Liberal Party and no one knew it. Canadians are so stupid they'll probably re-elect Justin. Canada's immigration policy thanks to the Trudeaus, is making sure that Canadians founding peoples and cultures will rapidly become a slim minority and be taken over by third-world toilet cultures. Canada deserves to self-destruct.

I moved to Canada in 2012. I used to love Canada as even with $11 per hour job was more than enough to survive (during studies, part time job). I used to live happy life. But, since Liberal government was elected in 2015, things are going crap. Just between 2016 when I signed lease of 1+1 apartment for 1140$, in 2019 it was getting rented for $2400. Prices went up for house and lots of things. Liberals had messed up affordability that most people in Toronto region are living paycheque to paycheque. On top of it Carbon tax in hide of saving environment which literally not working out, is killing Canadians. \n\nAfter living in Canada for 11 years, I don’t see this country has any good future overall. Our banking to technology sector everything is outdated. World is moving so fast, Canada is not able to catch up. I am looking for easy was to get green card of USA, the country which I hated, it seems USA is far better. I have many relatives in USA, I asked around and it broke lots of my stereotypes about USA which I had developed living in Canada and from Canadians. Even met few people who lived in Canada for 10-15 years and moved to USA and living there for last 5-10 years. Worst decision of my life was choosing Canada in 2012 for easy immigration. My classmates who chose USA and moved there in 2012 are in much better position career wise as well salary wise and they files are also in progress. Living lavish life with great weather, while Canada is depressive as hell.

The big difference between both countries, is that it is slow and harder to find jobs in Canada, in USA you find jobs of all type right away. about health services , Canadian one is great, but in USA, if you are ilegal, or unemploye or if you dont have private insurance the goverment pay your bills , it is called Medicare, it is for low income people. So both countries have different systems and both work well.

Great video! Another issue is childcare for working parents. There is no free childcare for working couples, both parents have to work to afford bills and the mother staying at home is not an option for the majority of working class Canadians since life is too expensive. For this reason a lot of people decide not to have children in this country simply because of unaffordability. Considering all the taxes Canadians pay this would greatly help people. The government gladly keeps bringing more and more new people into Canada ( mostly to get voters) but ignores the needs of existing Canadians. Not only you cannot find a house to live or afford one but having a family is nearly impossible without 3 or 4 jobs and using the food bank because after paying the rent there is no money to buy food.

Great video, and 100% true. More than anything my frustration is with hiring and for some reason why people think we are completely dumb !! Having said that I will give it some more time as I have only been here for 4 years. For most of you coming for Europe this maybe a mediocre experience, coming from my country in the state it’s in Canada is still miles ahead. I just wish people were more upfront like you guys, great example for myself is the fact that I worked for a multinational which is fully operational in Canada, they have spent thousands of dollars on my training when I worked for them but their not even open to having a chat with me to hire for a job that was 2 levels below me when I was working in Asia. First off Canada is not a systemically racist country I’m white I’m also poor and I’ve lived here all my life nearly everyone excluding the native population in a immigrant or a descendant of a immigrant my mom is Portuguese and I also have black family members we are no more racist than anyone else in any other country. Every country has a few homeless people and that number has grown immensely due to poor Liberal government policy when I was young there were maybe one or 2 homeless people in my home town and they were severely mentally Ill homelessness has greatly increased since pm Justin Trudeau has been in power and that’s something I can say I have observed first hand living here in Ontario Canada for 30 years - my entire life. Canadian tax payers don’t want to pay for drug addicts to get more drugs the Liberal Canadian government have set up “safe injection sites” and “ methadone clinics” that basically give these addicts more drugs that are payed for with our tax dollars again these clinics and safe injection sites didn’t exist when I was a kid and since then the number home homelessness has increased as well as the number in population addicted to drugs. Also you’re getting your statistics on hate crimes motivated based on race or ethnicity from CTV new a media outlet on the pay role of the Liberal government most people with any sense don’t pay attention to mainstream media here in Canada because it’s no longer journalism when you parrot a narrative that the government that is constantly attacking the fundamental values of Canada no controls I live in a complex that consists mostly of Arabic in Syrian people most racist comments I’ve heard has been between other families that have recently immigrated to Canada and it doesn’t happen often it’s usually just from unruly kids that are too ignorant to understand the implications of the words they utter at one another RBC is one bank in Canada if all the people working there happen to be white it doesn’t make a difference and is likely purely because they’’ve been working that same job for many years now we don’t give people jobs in Canada based on their skin colour people get jobs based on their performance and wether they meet the necessary SKILL requirements for that job there are lots of other banks in Canada that have different cultural diversities so far I honestly just feel like your just shitting on my county and that’s extremely rude of you eh. As a U.S. citizen, the U.S isn't better!! It has gotten worse, it's one of the most expensive counties in the world. And the housing, cost of living and healthcare is ridiculous!! From what I’ve heard from Canadians is the health care system isn’t as great as people believe. For example there’s a huge back log of orthopedic surgeries, medications and disease management therapies are slower to be approved.

I think you ladies are way out in left field and you really don't know what you're talkin about. Unfortunately for some people it doesn't work out for whatever reason usually because they do not want to assimilate very well. I grew up in Ontario to a french-canadian father and an Italian mother in my life in Canada was so perfect said if I had to dream up a better life I could not have done so. I grew up playing all the sports and enjoyed all the different sports and the changes of seasons. My parents had a summer home on the st-lawrence river and every summer we water-ski swam fished, play golf in the morning and barbecues every night right on the water. Even though my grandfather was in the hotel business I was all about sports and enjoying everything about it. I grew up in a town of about 50 thousand about 40 miles from Montreal. When I wanted some great nightlife just drove a short drive to Montreal and it had everything did anyone could want in Nightlife. I have lived in United States for forty years and I can tell you that it really isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Heaven forbid should you get some kind of catastrophic illness you are screwed. I knew a woman who work for travelers insurance for 30 years at the best insurance a money could buy had suffered a couple of strokes and was on the verge of going broke had she not died when she died. People think that insurance continues to pay his long as you're ill and nothing could be further from the truth. This lady was going to have to sell her house to continue paying for round-the-clock care had she not died when she did. United States middle class is getting wiped out. I've seen enough poverty and hardship in this country to last a lifetime. I find greed to be running rampant in this country. When I grew up in Canada there was always the grass is greener on the other side and when I did move over to the other side the US that is I can tell you unequivocally the dead grass is not greener on the other side. There are more millions and millions of people here that are one or two paychecks away from being homeless. And we're talkin 2023. Now let's talk about violence. There is a mass murder in the United States every single day of the year. And a mass murder is defined by four or more people being killed by one person at one time. Killing these so out of control in the United States that now even six-year-olds are shooting their teacher. I find a tremendous amount of built-up Anger from people. Food is very expensive and shelter is also out of control and non affordable to most people. Again I find United States being able to paint a much Rosier picture then does really exist. And there are more con artists and thieves , Crooks, con-artists, bamboozlers, cheats and scammers then anywhere that I've ever been. And I will say this is it it ain't getting any better and I don't see it ever getting better. I find it is everybody out for themselves no matter who they cheat. I live in Southern California and I can tell you that night life where I live is non-existent. Understand that LA and Hollywood they always have to glamorize everything to sell it to tourists. Just remember that things today are not what they were 40 years ago. Middle-class people in Canada would also be just middle-class people in the US. But if your life means anything to you as far as safety and raising a family then Canada wins hands down end of discussion. People that say Canada is boring is because they are boring. That's what I found to be pretty standard across the board. Life is what you make of it. But I will say that you gals definitely need to move away if you don't like Canada. Do not let the door hit your ass on the way out. And just for your information Canada ranks annually as one of the top countries in the world to immigrate to. Canada is the second largest country in the world by land area and next to Saudi Arabia has the third largest oil Reserves in the world. Canada has huge amount of freshwater which most of the rest of the world seems to be lacking and having spent my Summers on the Saint Lawrence River one of the Great Rivers in this world. I wouldn't change my twenty years in Canada for anyplace else in this world and I will be moving back shortly.

I've lived In the US all my life. I was fortunate to come across my amazing wife who lives In Vancouver, BC. I was able to travel to Vancouver a lot since 2007 and I love the city. It's very beautiful, the people are decent, the houses are nice (yet expensive) and overall I like it up there. And you can't beat the free healthcare up there. I'm going to be moving from Chicago to Vancouver, BC in about a year cause my wife has had some medical issues and coming to the states won't work financially since she has medical issues already. I'm nervous yet excited. It's not that diverse when It comes to black people but I can get along with anybody. And I'm not worried about anybody messing with me unless they want a real ChiTown ass whooping lol. Thanks for the video guys. You guys are hilarious. Keep up the great work aight.

I was born and raised on the east coast of Canada, lived in Vancouver and visited Montréal Edmonton, Calgary with the acception of Winnipeg I’ve seen every major city in Canada. \n\nI will always have pride for my country and love for my family there but it has changed dramatically since 2010.\n \nI will say the transportation in Canadian cities are better and so is the crime and the food but you have to drive a minimum of an hour to get anywhere outside the city, your not leaving that city without a car and good luck surviving without a car outside the city, and VIA rail is way overpriced. The GO train is nice though.\n\nLiving in America it has changed a lot since covid too though people are a lot more desperate and you can feel it but people are too prideful to admit, where in Canada people are struggling and they dress and look terrible and fail to dress nice because there is less prideful.\n\nCanadians are not nice people they are passive aggressive and will not got out of their way to help you most of the time (modern day) kind of like Californians.\nThe east coast Americans are rude and trashy but they will help you if you show respect. There just no fun to be around mostly ? overall North Americans are chauvinistic.\n\nJobs are harder to get in Canada and opportunity isn’t there, but it is very relaxed.\nAmerica is overcrowded and stressful especially for a Canadian.\nMontréal is cheap rent great food, and being personally bilingual I like the French, but there infrastructure is terrible and the people are depressed and disgustingly rude and they have no customer service.\n\nVancouver is overpriced in every way possible, beautiful city, great seafood but it’s not worth the price tag, you would be better of living in a San Francisco, the crime in Richmond and burnaby and new Westminster and hasting street is just as bad as San Francisco’s tenderloin.\n\nToronto is big and fun yet it doesn’t feel Canada at all, it feels like it’s been hijacked by American and foreign companies. It’s beautiful but lots of rats and bad traffic. People are relatively nicer there but it’s still expensive like New York.\nCalgary is very pretty probably my favorite, it’s just cold AF and kinda pricey. Probably perfect for families.\nEdmonton is flat and boring but I like it’s proximity to Calgary ?\nOverall it’s one of the best countries to live in the west but if you like fast paced, opportunity, diversity, traveling and are rich enough for elite education then come to America. Lastly Canada is a democracy so bills can be passed faster but that can also be a bad thing if you have a courrupt gov’t, cough cough trudeau.\nAmerica is a republic so it is harder to pass laws which can suck but it is also harder for people like uncle joe to overreach. Overall in America you are more free but in Canada you are more at peace. \n\nI’ve lived in America for six years and moved here at 20yrs so this is just my experience.

I live in NYc my hold life . I don't own a car. I can get anywhere in the city and even outer boroughs. As for tap water, NYC has great tap water we spend millions on water purification. People still prefer bottled water but there's nothing wrong with New York City tap water

As a Canadian in the US (Cali)....cost of living is low because you're in Quebec. Toronto/Vancouver....cost of living is definitely not low. Quebec just isn't a high value destination for most people, hence why Montreal hasn't seen the same cost of living increase as the other two major centers. Cali has crazy costs, but we're literally the highest (maybe HI?) in the US, everywhere else is way cheaper. With that said....100% on tap water. San Fran has great tap water....but outside of that I avoid drinking any tap water here in the US :/.

Montreal is one of the best cities in the world. Visited twice, it's lovely. Great people, great food, relaxed, nice place.

I feel like Canada is a lite version of the U.S. \n\nI'm a lifelong U.S. citizen and been to Canada many times. Mostly in Ontario, Nova Scotia and Quebec. \n\nI totally agree Canada is and feels way safer. I've been to some areas of Toronto that are HOOD and I was taken aback. The 6ix is getting a little crazy, I don't know what's happening with the Lake Ontario air over there. Overall though, Toronto is so much safer, cleaner and much more pleasant to be in than in NYC or Chicago (from my experience and I choose those cities because they are usually compared to each other). Montreal has some sketchy areas but some of the sketchy areas of Montreal are comparable to a nice suburban area of the Bronx or Queens. The Zoe's in Montreal can be annoying but overall I never felt I had to be on alert. Again, Canada definitely is a lot safer (to me) and also way cleaner. \n\nAs for the cities, I think overall the urban areas of Canada are a little better with city planning but its not that much different. Other than Some areas of Canada you also need a car or if not, you're assed out. The provinces in Canada are HUGE and you can be driving all day in just one province. And like the U.S. the rail system across the nation isn't too great. Actually, I think the U.S. has a better bus (Greyhound/GhettoHound, Peter Pan, Mega Bus etc) and rail system (Amtrak) then Canada does. Not saying a whole lot but its still better I feel. \n\nWeather. If you're looking for warm weather year round, you will NOT find that in Canada. \n\nI think the U.S. provides more opportunity at the moment and overall, I think there's more to do and see and I believe it or not I think people in the U.S. generally are a little bit friendlier and more full of life. Of course, everything depends on what you're looking for but both are great countries but I find myself wanting to move up north to Canada nowadays but the gun laws are a deterrent for me.

Person living in South Korea here ??‍♀️and contemplating between moving to either USA or Canada! So this was interesting! I tested the waters and traveled to the USA last year! They both made good points, food isn’t that great but the people are so sweet and inviting. I was scared because of what I usually see on the news but I didn’t experience any of the horrible things I read, but then again I was very cautious.

I love America great place for opportunities but the people in it have big time issues.

Born in Canada. Dad is American. Mom is Canadian. Lived in both (Ontario Canada, Pennsylvania, Texas, Florida). \nI moved back to canada just after 9/11. Dad thought my brother and I would get drafted. \n\nHealth care sucks for different reasons. The horror stories I can tell you that I'm STILL going through here in Canada is insane. \n\nLived in Texas just outside austin south/east going towards Lockhart. Different breed of human beings down that way. I loved Austin. Great food, good people. Though my dad caught shit because his parents Sicilian. Dude is a little less brown than aba. People thought he was Mexican. \n\nOther than Slag hills. Loved Pennsylvania. \n\nFlorida.. its Florida. Lived in Daytona. Too young at the time to have fun. I hated it but might have been better if I wasn't 10. \n\nI dunno. Ask me anything about both. I miss a lot about America. Dislike and like a lot about Canada. Depends on what you want to talk about.

SO true about the tap water, lol! I've lived in 3 Texas cities, LA, SF, Oklahoma and Ohio, but the ONLY place of those that had even remotely decent water was SF (and IN the city... the surrounding areas still sucked). Then I moved to Edmonton and lived in 5 different buildings and the water was great everywhere. My fellow Edmontonians beg to differ, but they don't' know what they got. But then I moved to the country and my well water is horrific. :( So we fill up jugs of water at my kid's place in the city haha!\n\nLegit, the best thing about moving up here though is the healthcare. One thing people don't think about is not only do you save on your actual doctor visits, but you save month to month as well. YES, you pay for it with your taxes, but I've found that my taxes here are almost exactly break-even with mine in California, and now I don't have to pay out of pocket for my insurance in addition. Not to mention for the same taxes overall things like roads, registries (dmv), and pretty much everything else the government does is more efficient and better. \n\nMain thing I miss from the US day-to-day is 1: food. Outside of Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver, you don't get much good variety. 2: good speeds and affordable f'ing internet. Canadian internet is EXPENSIVE as FACK and not overly fast compared to pretty much every other first world nation.

The tap water thing is so true. Visited Brazil and people have direct access to WATER SPRINGS. Never have tasted water more refreshing and as good as water directly from a spring\n\nThe tap water in Brazil is great (depends on the place tbh)

I moved from the U.S. to Canada. Some observations:\n1. It's unbelievably safe in Canada. The most dangerous places in Canada are still very safe compared to much of the U.S.\n2. Outside of DC and New York and I guess Chicago and L.A. in the U.S. and Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver in Canada, you need a car. I disagree that city planning is that much better in Canada.\n3. The maternity leave in Canada is great \n4. The unemployment insurance in Canada is great too\n5. I prefer the Canadian health care system. I never experienced any long wait times. My wife had literal brain surgery and it was free whereas it would've been hundreds of thousands of dollars in the U.S.\n6. Canada is further to the left and is much more woke than the U.S. Everything here is about equity, diversity and inclusion. Even many Canadian conservatives would be moderates in the U.S. but most people know this already.\n7. There is a better work life balance in Canada. I worked a lot more when living in the U.S.\n8. Most Canadians live by the U.S. border  so the weather is not that different than most northern American states. But once you go to northern Canada, it is as cold as they say it is.\n9. The U.S. is better for making money.\n10. It is much more racially segregated in the U.S. \n11. Outside cities like Montreal and Toronto, Canada is very white.\n12. Things are much more spread out in Canada. When I lived in the U.S. driving for 1 hour to go somewhere was a long drive. In Canada, that is normal.\n13. Canada is pretty great if you like the outdoors. There's only 36 million people here and outside the major cities, you find small towns and the wilderness. \n14. Canadians are quite friendly. I know my neighbors in the country. I never knew my neighbors in the U.S.\n15. Canadian politics is boring and I like this. However, in the rural areas, it seems that people really hate Justin Trudeau.\n16. Since Canada is so similar to the U.S. it is very easy to adjust to life here.\n17. Outside of Quebec, you really don't need to speak French. \n18. The nationalism of the Quebecois is very surprising. There is no group in the U.S. this nationalistic.

To confirm as an American. Yes, it seems like everyone wants to put hot sauce and cheese on everything and it's annoying. The tap water here is bad unless you get it from the fridge or have a filter. Here in Arkansas, I think our spring water is great.\n\nRegarding the city and getting around to restaurants and other areas, pretty much. A good portion of our factories are on acres of land. However, some are still close enough that you can walk to. I'm certain this is hardly different from Canada but we are 97% rural. People think of America as big cities but usually its the local town and a pumpkin patch. When Aba said America is like 40 different countries, he ain't wrong. \n\nFirearms is ingrained in our culture. That's a given. I see a lot of people mention safety and this is what I can say; I felt my safety was compromised by a tornado warning. Trouble can happen but if you don't deal drugs or do some under the table stuff, usually you won't be a victim of a crime. \nI'm planning on owning some land myself so I can shoot on it, farm, and raise a family. Just be independent.

Yea you are not wrong. City living is rough out here. I was born and raised in L.A. but moved 2 hours into the desert and it's like a different country. Rent is cheap, people reply back and don't look at you weird when you greet them. L.A. looks great but the social interactions compared to other places aren't.

- No rights to own guns\n- Speech laws\n- No rights to meaningfully protest authoritarian measures (as seen when the government arrested people & froze their bank accounts)\n- MAID program (this is beyond evil. 10k people in the last year alone in a country with a fraction of the U.S's population?)\n\nJust a few examples out of the many more I could probably find with enough research. But 'muh free healthcare', right? Which isn't even that great considering the ineptitude of the whole system. When someone's trying to use your 'free healthcare' to get a wheelchair lift installed in the house, and because of the very long wait you're instead offered medically assisted suicide, you know your system is far from great.

America is good for money. It is a capitalist society and everything runs on money- the people, the food, parking, breathing lol. But it doesn’t always provide a great life balance to the point where people don’t prioritize their health and wellness because they simply can’t afford to. Like literally. Without money you will die in a health institute here because they will not treat you without money. You can buy any and everything here- it’s all for sale. Personally I’m a wrench and I don’t subscribe to American society. I was born and raised here and it always felt wrong the way things work here, the way people are. this is happening everywhere in the developed countries in the world, people bet on their future with hard earned money on secondary class education , on a foreign country where only cared about themselves. no shame on anyone, one country 2 policy , before you got PR, we won't take care of you, and you sure need to pay great deal of price to become one of us since you are vunlerable , we just like to hurt people, no big deals.

I’ve worked with many different people in -30 outdoors and they were there on the job site because they deserved to be there. They were outside and -30. They didn’t complain or quit. They worked! So usually people that complain just have inabilities to be hard! \nNow if you’re applying for an office setting customer service industry or critical care type job and you can’t construct a sentence nor comprehend the language of that country you’re in that’s a bit of a problem wouldn’t you say. I’ve hired the right people and I’ve also fired the right people, I’ve also worked with many different types in Canada and this racism thing is just a bullshit excuse! I wish people in the US would realize how great we have it here. Sure everybody has healthcare but ask Canadians how long they wait for surges or if they can see their doctor right away!

Canada actually isn't that great, the educated people, especially from India/China only come here because the US has a very cumbersome greencard process. Just look at H1B to greencard wait times for Indians, it can take more than a decade.\n\nI think Canada is great if you are a refugeee escaping war and are just happy to have shelter and benefits.

Hard to rank the provinces because they do each have their particular charms. New Brunswick is my No. 1, mostly for sentimental reasons, but it is a great place to visit because it is compact and has such a varied geography, whether it be Fundy, the Saint John river system, the Acadian coastline, or the Miramichi. Helps if you know people there, but people are generally welcoming and friendly. \n\nI currently live in Montreal and have had two extended periods living here. I don't want to knock it too much, but there are two seasons, winter and construction season. Some day, Montreal will have rebuilt itself, but it is a major pain in the arse getting around and drivers are oftentimes stressed to the hilt. The rest of Quebec is nice and all, but agreed, you have to speak the language and even then, don't expect miracles in terms of gaining acceptance by the locals. However, I do give full marks to a province that seems to finally have its act together and set to prosper in the green economy.

I've lived in Vancouver, Toronto, and Saskatchewan, and I have visited Quebec and Alberta. In my opinion, Vancouver is best. I mean, it's a huge multi cultural seaport city. You get both of two worlds - the resources of a big city and amazing scenic nature. I find that priceless. Quebec, on the other hand, has a lot of great things to offer, but only if you're fluent in French. My visit to Quebec wasn't great. Many people ignored me for speaking English at stores, and so I felt the people were kind of rude to non French speakers. \nI don't have much to say about Saskatchewan, other than it being cold and ugly.

Great video - it's true my family came here 20 years ago and I'm greateful but it certainly is expensive. \n\nThe type of employment you have makes a big difference - I'm a big fan of people applying for government to take advantage of the benefits - especially at retirement - and then having a side hustle. \n\nI'm looking to help people set themselves up for the long term and being a position to afford cost of living and comfortably raising a family in Canada. Just more than a year living here in Canada realizations:\n\n1. So cold. Not everytime you can be so productive because the weather is a big hindrance\n2. As an immigrant, you will start from scratch. There will be great opportunities, sometimes really fast promotions or salary increase but workplaces are always short staffed that the amount of work is not worth it with how much the salary is. \n3. Some people still have preferences and you will really feel discriminated.\n4. People are polite, I am very impressed but so individualistic, it's sad. Growing in a country with a very collective type of community, you will really fee the void once you try living in Canada. you can't fully relate to everyone, be free to talk to them about everything because you rarely have common ground or understanding. I feel bad for the Canadians, its so hard to build relationships here in this country. Some of them might never experienced living that everyone of their schoolmates understand and laughs at the same meme because all of them have the same backgrounds and can relate.\n5. Housing prices are so high, it is so surprising for a country with big land mass but with very few population. Like how can be the house this expensive when winter is long, houses are wood and not stone and groceries, mall and other recreational areas are far?\n\nOverall, it's like a big scam going here in Canada. The biggest thing positive here is how powerful the currency is and the country being part of G7 and neighbor of US. Also it has very well preserved environment, scenic views. Aside those, others you can live without.

Canada is a great nation and for them to open their hearts and borders (Visa-Free) to the people of South America and Mexico is a great idea. I would like to invite the Canadian government to go to the Texas border or Southern California border and help the migrants there get to Ontario or Quebec or wherever they can place them. Airplanes, Trains, Buses, Cruise Ships whatever they can do to quickly move migrants to Canada. ???❤️?Then do some incentive programs to encourage migrants to move out of Chicago, New York, and California and move to Canada.

Canada is actively trying to kill off it's homeless instead of having shelters and mental health support. Like actual city hall talking about hoping the winter kills off homeless. I don't get how the world thinks Canada is this great place. I've been here 54 years, it's poor and horrible to it's own people especially if they're indigenous or homeless. Canada sucks and we're hoping the world doesn't notice.

I moved from the US to Canada 3 years ago. I lived in the US all of my life. You wait 8 or more hours in the emergency room in the US. I have a great job and I'm paid more in canada than the US for my exact job.I make 6 figures in canada. I also have a small business that brings in additional income. I have a great account also. Great opportunities in Canada. In US you pay taxes and its also alot. I was able to buy a home easily in Canada within 3 years. My phone plan is cheap and i have US line as well. 50 bucks a month. I moved to Edmonton AB. People who live in Toronto like to compare it as if its the rest of Canada. Compare Toronto to New York city.

These are great places for accumulating materials and money. Other than that you are less disconnected from other people. You cultures are so rich and you feel connected to your community. Same here in america.

First let me say that every country and I do mean every single one has their pluses and minuses Canada's major plus is the fact that crime is almost nonexistent as opposed to the United States where there is a mass murder every single day and a mass murder defined as four or more people killed in One Time by one person this does not even count where there is just two or three people killed at one time they're not included in the statistics the United States is out of control with violence guns you name it and I've lived here for 40 years I spent the first 20 years in Canada in my life was so perfect that I can't even dream of a better life the problem with most people is they move to the larger cities Vancouver Toronto I grew up 40 miles outside of Montreal on the great Majestic St Lawrence River one of the truly great rivers in this world my parents had a summer home on the river and every summer it was water skiing fishing boating golfing swimming you name it growing up 40 miles outside of Montreal if you wanted The Nightlife of Montreal one of the great International cities in this world then you could just drive there in less than an hour and enjoy the great nightlife that is Montreal as someone who is French and Italian I loved the winters because ice hockey was my favorite sport and I played all the sports nothing even comes close to the speed skill and excitement of ice hockey it is like soccer on steroids they're only two cold months during the winter January and February and even then it's really enjoyable as long as the temperature stayed below 32° I was happy because that meant that they could make outdoor ice rinks and I could enjoy my favorite sport of ice hockey all winter long Outdoors as someone who's lived all over the United States over the last 40 years I wouldn't trade Canada for any place else the United States is full of scammers I've been in all kinds of businesses working for different companies and there's rarely a company that I didn't get cheated by and had to take to the labor board for justice and compensation I trust nobody the main thing here is stay away from the major cities of Vancouver and Toronto and you will be able to have a great life with affordable housing and if you're into the outdoors Sports Canada is the greatest and best secondly Canada has the third largest oil reserves in the world and so there are a lot of Natural Resources that Canada has that is wealth for the country that will filter down to the average person what people don't realize is it when you live I've lived in Southern United States and most places the summers are unbelievably excruciatingly suffocatingly miserably hot hot hot at least in the Colder Weather you just put on some great looking ski wear and you can be outdoors and not be bothered by the cold because you eventually a climatize yourself to it Canada is the second largest country in the world by land area and has only a 35 million population there is a lot of room for growth and opportunity and in a safe safe environment to raise a family and at the end of the day that's what it's all about I wish I could say the same for the United States being safe but no it is not and Mexico is they have six out of the top 10 most dangerous cities in the world and Tijuana is the most dangerous city in the world with almost 2000 murders and the year is not over don't believe me just Google it the reality is that the drug cartels control everything in Mexico and the police and politicians are afraid because the cartels are so ruthless there is way too much money to be made in selling drugs and the cartels will stop at nothing to make sure they get their money by the way most of my family still lives in Canada and are doing extremely well for themselves and I am the only fool that moved to the US
