Trudeau says we need more people in health care, but we aren't bringing in the right people to fill those gaps. We are bringing in uneducated people to fill fast food jobs. I am so sorry, as a native Canadian, that Indians are feeling attacked. It is difficult, no matter your ethnic background, if you are not Indian to even acknowledge these issues because people are afraid of being labelled as racist so I thank you for bringing this topic up. Please understand this is the result of runaway immigrations with no real screening. The government quadrupled immigration, hundreds of percents increase in students, asylum seekers, and illegal entries, even though there was already a housing crisis, and a completely predictable doctor shortage due to aging out. Covid was just starting to get under control but many still needed treatment and BOOM, the population went from 30 million in 2014 to over 40 million in a decade, most of it in the last 3 years. We native Canadians are scratching our heads, we don't understand what the Liberals are trying to accomplish but to create suspicion and racism between groups of people -- divide and conquer? Maybe...but ultimately it is a complete lack of planning! Still 99 percent of Canadian born do not blame Iindividual ndians for this. I've lived and worked with Indians my entire life of over 60 years. There are now Indian gangs, particularly Punjabi gangs because of lack of oversight, and while they are small they are constantly committing crimes, selling drugs, shooting people all in the last few years. I hear gun shots nightly in my ethnically mixed neighbourhood, and we are all afraid to walk at night. Unfortunately the people arrested are mostly from continental India. Some have a political agenda that has to do more with India than Canada, so they recruit young Indo-Canadian children from good families and tell them they are being oppressed, and next thing these kids are acting as drug mules and enforcers, being told that they are fighting systemic racism. As for dancing and music, I love the cultural events, we are happy to see and even take part in Indian cultural events. IWhen I do hear people blaming India and Indians it breaks my heart too! Hopefully together we can fix this. Our governments are at odds, and I hate this -- they need to respectfully talk and work this out. I lived in Canada for half of my life and now live in the US. I have travelled around the world and the same issues Canada has are worldwide. Taxes, increase in prices (groceries, gas etc), homelessness are world wide issues. \nSocialized medicine what was once thought to be the greatest is disappointing at best. Long wait times,lack of doctors in rural communities and poor pay for many doctors are having them head state side. \n\nI hope you find your next country and it works out. Canada will always be home and you can always come back.

last week, five people from my local area in Bangladesh arrived in Canada, despite having no formal education. But obviously, as a French and white person, I doubt they let us in as easily as they do Black Africans, Syrians, or Palestinians. I really feel that if you’re African or Muslim, doors are open to you everywhere in the world, especially in North America. But if you’re white, well, they put obstacles in your way to prevent you from coming. I really feel that, and I see it every day, in fact.

You didn't touch on the NUMBER 1 thing. If you plan on moving to Canada, You best learn the language spoken in the area you are moving to, be it french, or english, or better yet, both. And that means your ENTIRE family! Nothing will get you discriminated on worse, than speaking your native language in public. It is EXTREMELY RUDE, and is the easiest way to have a hate crime committed against you !!! While affordability is def an issue there are a number of facts thrown around on this video that are making me question the data points being used. $3k rent sure, if you're downtown Vancouver and live on your own in a newer building with amenities which is what a friend of mine pays in Yaletown. But then I have a friends in KITS paying $1600, Main St $1500, Surrey $1100. There is not 7% of the population emigrating to the US. The rent can't be increased by $7000 as stated by the two girls, it's capped at around 3% annually, so not sure what the real context around that clip is. The girl who took a year to get housing at UBC - presumably she was renting somewhere else in Vancouver, I doubt she was living out of her car . Sounds like this was made with the most sensational examples which really undercts the video because I can't trust the other information about things I don't directly know. Having said that red tape has made building in Vancouver difficult and population growth has put huge pressure on the housing and rental market. Foreign investment purchases of housing has probably driven up the prices more than anything in Vancouver and as stated it has been linked to money laundering from drug money. It's the most expensive city in Canada btw, so while prices are high across the country, Vancouver is the worst of the lot, even worse than Toronto, so hardly an average example to look at.

Have you ever stopped to think about why people like your wife and her family left home to come to Canada? Yes, they escaped from fundamentalism and the challenges it created in their country. When they arrive here, they suddenly become intellectuals and want to make Canada like back home! I have a lot of respect for those who have made the decision to leave. I was born here 55 years ago, I am mixed race and have been asked if I was Indian. I think that my time growing up in Canada is that Indians have had the most racism towards them. However, There are too many coming here right now. 99% of the Indians I have met with are nice and great people. With that , the shear amount of Indians that are not desirable are here. Cannot drive, rude, no understanding of customer service and take over public spaces and are litter bugs. You guys have to help transition into the western american canadian tradition. I have seen influxes of other countries come over here in my 55 years but I have never seen one group come over with these huge numbers. It is a massive displacement
