As a French Canadian im aware of some discrimination about the funding of our community, School dont really get the money for new infrastructure. some of our building becoming more old and not really great to use i still like my place thought and i will never consider to move to the USA. Sorry for the American's that can be hurt by those words but i prefer the safety of my family and my community then having some huge racial,hate,gun,violence going in the US.\n\nYes Canada as flaw but still we can gladly say that we feel way more safe and more secure about our bills than anybody in the US. i got some medical condition that would totally have bankrupt my family and myself for decades if i was born in the USA.\n\nIf some American family or some couples that want a great life come to Canada we will gladly accept you as you are :) if you met some jerk in Canada im sorry for that.\n\nSo Tyler would you consider moving to Canada ? =D

My brother lives in Canada and says in Florida during the winter. He loves the US and the American dream. He loves Trump too. I think the only thing keeping him in Canada is the health care.

(Tyler, almost anything you can find to see/do in Canada, you can see/do in the US. There are many things in the US that you can't see/do in Canada.)

I've been a caregiver for over 40 years and I just love it, but recently, I've been seeing a few people, including the HR Department and the people who hired me, try to surprise me bye popping up and the client was very upset because they didn't want to listen to her and a employee that was working with me,I wasn't aware of the problem situation that was going on, so basically I was set up with them saying that I wasn't taking care of the client honestly the client told them I've been helping them the most the employee said that I wasn't changing the client,,and I noticed that the trash Bin was being opened and I bought it attention to the client and she said be careful with the company and the co-worker that is working with us is lying on. Me and I brought it up to my supervisor and then she said that someone had said that I wasn't changing her underwear and she the client said that she would let the boss know but she came back from told me that I wasn't able to continue to work for them and I asked them why they said someone was coming from Africa to join their company and I Said that I'm not going to signing anything that is a lie ...

Listen... I'm all for helping out fellow human beings but it seems this person was blocking her way which you can see, and she explains that this isn't the first time he's done that! The fact he spoke to her in Indian just shows he is not culturally appropriated to our language or even laws for that matter! As a fellow Canadian I confirm what this guy say is absolutely true. U can easily get jobs in US that r 2-4X the salary of identical jobs in Canada… Not to say the Cost of Living in US is at minimum 25-50% cheaper than Canada. The only people who fits well in Canada r the poor, old and children

This is very biased in favor of Canada. However, I strongly agree with your viewpoint on gun control. Canada comes out on top. When it comes to Healthcare, you omitted that Canada is experiencing a shortage of doctors and the wait time for care is longer and longer. More doctors are moving to the US for better salaries. For education, the US system made it such that with a Bachelor degree you can get a good job. A Masters degree isn't required although good. Meanwhile, in Canada competition in job market makes it that employers hire over qualified employees. With a Masters degree you're likely to occupy a Bachelor degree position. I personally don't see this as a good thing. When It comes to political and religious diversity, it depends on personal preferences. Some people like diversity, others don't. I personally like conservative states. A 2021 report indicates that thirty thousand new immigrants left Canada due to expensive living conditions. At the end of the day, it is like the saying there's no accounting for taste.

Lived in us for 10 years and also Canada for 7. I can 100% say that life in Canada is a whole lot better then USA. Although pay is more in USA, it’s quickly eaten up by all the expenses and trust me when I say you will spend a ton. Your entire city you live in will most likely try to eat away as much of your wallet as you can. People and going outside is just better in Canada. Usa really really sucks apart from pay, especially for kids unless you live in an expensive city. People are Riddled with hate and it’s not safe for kids to play outside because something is def out to get them. Usually it’s a car or a criminal. One thing I’ve noticed is kids in USA end up doing drugs a whole lot more, because there’s not much for the kids to do. Kids can’t spend much and can’t travel far or at all, so they resort to drugs. With my hs done in highschool, a huge majority of the schools were doing one or another sort of drug. Also I’m back in Canada because life as a student is just a whole lot better then the snaky system of USA. Both suck in their own ways though, Canada a whole lot less, plan to move out to an eastern country anywya tjough.

As a Native kid who grew up on the reservation in Canada, I used to be afraid to go into the city because of the tings people would say to us. It wasn't just white people either. I have lived in Utah the past 20 years, and I'm sad to hear it still hasn't changed.

Our National deficit is rising and they always say they can’t touch social security, SSDI and Medicare the stuff we pay into since we start working so one day when we are old enough or hurt enough we will have something given back to us to help us make it through the rest of our lives and have medical coverage after working hard paying into it. How can they just let them flood our country and give them money and threaten that their won’t be anything left for social security in the coming years. People think that Canada is racism free utopia and its not. People always want to talk about the US. And yes the US has a long way to go,but at least it's vocal. My mom used to say let me know right off the bat that you don't like me,don't be sneaky with it. Canada,the UK and western Europe always try to say that racism is an American problem. Americans are just more vocal with it. And if anyone is inclined to Google,just look up the food inequality that Canada has with their northern neighbors,the people of Nunavut.

I live in nyc, the migrants look at us , like we owe them . My husband is from Canada. We are black. We still know many people living in Canada. We are both black. I must say that its 10 times better in Canada than the US so I'm not sure that this is categorically true. Racisim is everywhere but overall its waaaaaay better than the US. I will admit that we mostly know about Toronto and Montreal so those are diverse cities.

There is gonna be racism everywhere but I love Canada some of my family live in Edmonton and there fine! My brother was murdered in a small town called Kenora in Ontario Canada by a bunch of Caucasian guys. The police told us they were good guys from good families and they closed the case saying my brother pushed himself out of the window. His case and many others never made the news. Unlike in the U.S., we don’t have the media and institutional power to enforce civil rights. A couple of years ago they unearthed about 7,000 native kids from residential school properties. They didn’t offer any investigations into it. They brushed that back under the rug saying it was sad, the end.

I hate to say this but the US got its own problems. The people here already have issues with inflation, housing, jobs etc..

At the end of the day I think Canada and the US share a lot of common ground in a lot of areas. \nThe major difference in my eyes between Canada and the US is the competitiveness of each economy. The US is far more competitive and innovative than Canada. Canadians are more risk averse and seem to want to work for the government or a big company whereas Americans are more confident in themselves and would prefer to work for themselves and try to start a business for themselves - and importantly - want to have it become a large business. \nAs a Canadian I wish I would have moved down to the States and tried it out when I was younger. I'm too old to move there now... \nCanada still isn't a bad place but it is nowhere near as prosperous for the average person, or I should say the average worker, as it used to be. And Canada's economy seems to be deteriorating rapidly and being usurped by newly developing countries whereas the economic future of the US seems brighter due to the powerful innovation in the US. However the social situation in the US seems to be deteriorating more so than in Canada.

Minimum wage in canada is twice the minimum wage in the US.\nSo when you say everything is so expensive here, that is very misleading.\nCanadians can afford rent here but in the US there are so many that can't and they end up homeless or committing crimes.
