There's nothing wrong with immigration as long as it's controlled, people enter legally and do what it takes to adapt to the host countries' values. I'm from India too; I fully support nationalism, irrespective of the country; it isn't racist, as the media likes to push that narrative. The sense of community is reducing because I think there's this wall between ethnic groups. The only way to tear down the wall is to have the immigrants adapt to the host country's culture and values.\n\nI have a cousin who moved to England, and she bought a home in a predominantly white neighbourhood. We cared so much about their suffering and wanted to help. We couldnt end the war in their countries so we offered them a safe place to share in our home (country) so they could build a life and live in peace. Little late to the conversation, but i only recently discovered this channel. I can agree with the majority of opinions in general, politics, guns, healthcare etc are all better here in Canada. Sure there may be safe pockets in the US but that’s not typically an issue in Canada. You don’t need to strategize where to live here based on that stuff, but may need to take into account the weather as it drastically varies within Canada. \nMoving to the US would typically be based on a job opportunity and likely wouldn’t provide much choice in location - go where the work is and unless it’s opening a small shop somewhere or working in a rural setting, you’re likely going to be in a bigger city where the majority of the violence is. Even so, with laws like ‘stand your ground’ you could get shit anywhere if you piss off the wring person. In Canada, you might yell at each & flip them off, then you just walk away without concern of being shot. You might get jerseyed though. ?

I live in a high rise tower in Dubai and Indian national move in the building and White people moved out. Because of the cooking smell,non respect of the rules ( people mess up the gym,have no boundaries ( they will take over your training machine without asking) will train right in the middle of the space where people have to walk by to use an other machine) do not say thank you when you hold doors for them or will walk right pass you when you open the door for yourself or your child. Now that the rent went up, Indiens are moving out and I like my tower more because most non Indiens resident have more similar culture.

Being an Indian living in India I can tell you one thing that mostly people who are not 'good enough' in anything pay lumsum amount of money to move to Canada. For instance, most of the students going to Canada for study, lack foundational knowledge that should've been taught to them at school. Take a GRE-like exam by randomly selecting Indians residing in this area and u will understand what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, the current Canadian govt knows this and capitalise on this problem as they have turned the education system of Canada into a money-vending machine. Furthermore, no skill development opportunities and lack of jobs intensify these problems as these individuals are never exposed in a multicultural urban setting. That is why likeminded individuals aggregate and live in silos. Lastly, for my Indian brothers and sisters, I would like to say that yall should try to assimilate with the culture rather than live in silos. That doesn't necessarily mean yall should abandon ur religion and culture, but try to participate more in various activities associated with Canadian culture. Like Im a Hindu, but I participate in Eid & Christmas as well in India.. We should be open to new experiences, especially when moving to a foreign country, one should be able to adapt.. just like one adapts to the weather, one should also embrace the culture.. Try talking to people who are 'non-Indians', have a genuine conversation, find out the history of the place and various other key milestones in the region.. mostly engage in amicable social behaviour. Holding grudge & closing doors to new interactions would not solve anything, neither for Canadians nor for immigrants.. Live and let live.. Cheers!

I used to love stepping outside my door, going to my church, walink around the town, going to shop and seeing all different races and nationalities. In the past four years, the demographics have drastically changed, and now they are taking over Milton. I don't see multiculturalism in Milton anymore. Makes me feel like an outsider in my now country, where I was born and raised.

I’m one of those new immigrants, originally from China. I’d like to share my point of view on this subject. For immigrants, sometimes the number one reason to move to another country is the harshness of their home country. In my case, China is not a pleasant place to live - everywhere is overcrowded, housing is insanely expensive, and job opportunities are mostly concentrated on big cities. So, if a young person like myself stayed in China, my only option to make a living is to join the rat race with another million people, work 60 hours a week, all for a 2-bedroom apartment. The minimum wage in China is the equivalent of $4 Canada dollars per hour. I don’t earn the minimum wage, but this should tell you how underpaid workers are over there. I’m ok with working hard and I have worked hard my entire life, got two degrees before 25 while studying as a non-English speaker, but I can’t bear the thought of not being fairly compensated for my work. In a freer and more transparent society, at least worker’s rights are protected. I could have chosen other countries to migrate to, but Canada seemed to have the fastest processing time and highest chance of accepting at the time, so I took the opportunity. I’m sorry for the Canadians who got caught up in a poorly managed immigration system. All I am saying is, if you are in my shoes, you would rather take this chance to move here - this could be the one of a lifetime window of opportunity.

Tue there are many Indians. Many do really really well but what do Indian have to do with whites dying of addiction! Majority of the homeless in Canada are whites. I was an international Student....15 years ago. I paid about 30k in tuition A YEAR.. I was NOT allowed to work off campus, i was allowed to work ON campus for a maximum of 10 hours A WEEK...in order for me to maintain my Visa status i had to maintain a GPA over 3.5 AND i had to be enrolled in an accredited institution. Our international student department had a quota of how many students they could recruit from every country... Rent was affordable, jobs were aplenty and when it came time for an Internship companies would come do hiring fairs and fight to get students to want to work for them. Now they get about 60k applicants a year that are willing to work for free and taking away from actual citizens.\nAfter 8 years of working and grinding and stressing i earned the right to get a Permanent residence...i had to commit 3 years out of 5 to stay here and work here and pay taxes for me to become a Canadian ...it was the proudest day of my life. I was filled with a sense of achievement that has been shat on by these students. \nIf you or anyone would actually like to talk about how it should be feel free to reach out.\nI will tell you this for free...if a Canadian Citizen did this in my country .. they'd be on the first flight home.

I went to a doctors appointment The other day, walked into the office, and it was TW0 African men FROM God knows where. One guy to take my blood pressure and do nothing and the other guy to dismiss my concerns. They looked like dudes off the street.

They aren't contributing to the economy. They're just taking all the free handouts they can steal. They have moved into every other house in my neighbourhood and lowered the property values. They don't EVER cut their lawns or put their trash out. They're turning my hood into a filthy slum! Just like the one they left behind.

Indians work hard and they educate themselves. Look who’s taking over the restaurant industry in Ontario. Look at the number of doctors, IT professionals, engineers and other professions. Indians, especially Sikhs, are heavily involved in farming. We Canadians, and I’m a third generation Canadian, have become content and lazy. Most of us won’t put in the hard hours on a farm or restaurant or the hard hours and dedication to become doctors. Like it or not we need immigrants. And when Poilievre wins the next federal election you can be sure he understands what immigrants bring and how vital they are to our aging country.

Coast to coast it's the same story: Liberal govt let useless 'paper mill' schools (mostly run by Indian scammers) fill the country with these kids with BS sales promotion of a path to PR status (most don't need or care about becoming citizens lol). The Liberals are toying with granting them PR status, but they know this will likely cost them the election. These kids are creating housing capacity problems, creating overcrowding on transit and in healthcare. Local charities are slammed with extra mouths to feed, and grocery stores are experiencing a spike in shoplifting because these kids did not come with enough money to house and feed themselves. The student visa program has been abused by criminals of course, so there's a spike in gangster activity and even a political assassination in Surrey BC. It's a crap show and the solution is for 500,000 of them to head home ASAP. (Yes, this may create a temporary shortage of fast food workers and delivery people, but I'll take my chances.)

Solo's hundreds of billions of dollars that the government's going to take back and taxes from us all draw the cost of housing through the roof. Instead of at the time redirecting half of those two it was 500 billion take a half of that investment in putting it into infrastructure technology innovation for industries. Our education systems from kindergarten through to postsecondary education and spending it on the Canadians that were here. We've turned our post-secondary institutions in Canada into diploma Mills where you know your VA and your you know postgraduate degrees or you know they're worthless. However the government and the education system grew into a very profitable industry grinding out worthless degree after worthless degree for foreign students who thought when they got these degrees with 50% of Canadians have. People have to realize that post-secondary education is a big business so they're going to sell you a dream that's going to cost you a lot of money what I suggest is when YouTubers want to do something on Canada do some proper research let people know that we really do have quality post-secondary education system but you have to look at when you graduate those jobs going to be there to pay that large salary does White collar jobs are disappearing almost gone I purchase an app for my company with small company about 10 employees this inexpensive app alone has taken my office staff from 7: to 2: I have a 10 Red seal tradesman tradeswomen these 10 highly skilled trades people earn between 125 and 145,000 a year in gross salary and I need five more of these highly skilled people and I can't find them cuz everybody's running in to get a useless postgraduate degree. I do find it slightly offensive that a lot of new immigrants new Canadians immigrate to Canada to purely exploit it for its wealth Canada should be looked at as a place to come put your hard work in the struggles the ups and downs? and look at it as your home instead of you know a piggy bank but people are going to leave and there's a long line up to get in I've seen in my 40 year career you know three major reps and three major downs. What's happening in Canada's economy and the economies around the world it's all the same the US economy's doing quite well and talked to last couple of weeks friends that have invested their and families have been there long-term at present the United States is building a war economy so there's money pouring into that effort it does have a booming you know Hi-Tech boom as well however the tech boom is offshore with American companies and it's taking place in a part of the world that no one would think it would take place so if your graduate in the tech industry go online do a little research you'll find out where it is the USA is building a huge chip factories I think they just poured in 70 or 80 billion dollars we're in a transitioning economy don't get discouraged put your head into it do your homework find out where these new jobs are coming from which jobs are not going to be here. Traditional White collar you know middle management upper management jobs they've been gone for years everyone's think of themselves as an independent contractor. Also if you're a millennial or was a gen z person there's going to be a massive transfer of wealth over the next 20 to 30 years as baby boomers simply die off and then you guys are going to inherit their money I live in any one of the g7 economies I just got to find your niece with your qualifications and get in there and innovate because there's not one g7 country that significantly doing better than anyone else another interesting part of the world is East Africa I'm retiring there in 5 years I've already done my homework I've already got partners I've already started to train up people there in East Africa Canada and those parts of the world they have East Africa's great basic infrastructure so now that they've got their first level base of infrastructure a second economy is built off at the service that basic infrastructure that basic infrastructure allows for that second layer a bigger layer of investment you know and that's where the real money is for mid-level investors and you know highly educated Young westerners have got 10 years into their respective careers and these are also very beautiful countries you know so you can if you got family in Canada family in Europe India Asia you know you can start building networks collaborate on projects you know in these you know emerging economies you know mid-level economies but that's you know a good 20-year grind to get good at your career and build your confidence to go into these places and get these things done also you know it's a great life adventure but never expect just because you have an advanced degree that the door even come knocking down your door to employ you if you're going to wait for the opportunity to come to you you're going to be waiting forever you got to take your advanced degrees get out there and hustle and work hard man Canada's doing fine about four or five years it's you know it's going to take off next level and it's going to boom for 40 years and it's never going to get any cheaper in g7 countries Amy's emerging economies his pockets around the world they're starting to come up to in the window to get into these emerging economies with your advanced degrees it's closing if you don't make it if you don't start looking at it in the next 5 years your degrees are going to be gone useless and if you do decide to put your career in these emerging economies like Asia South America Central America Africa do it for the right reasons not just for money we don't want to make the same mistakes as like the industrial Revolution where a few people get rich and the people in that country you know don't get anything have respect for these countries employ their people and you have to get into these places before all the big corporations get set up there cuz they're they're going there Canada's a great place as a great time free medical system and I urge anybody that's feeling down or depressed in Canada you know to go get some therapy join some clubs talk to people don't get down and mostly don't you know don't give up on yourself you guys made it through you know Elite post-secondary education system and if you can if you can do that I mean you can you can do anything a lot of hard work ahead truly best of luck to all you guys

I'd be careful about mentioning an increase in immigration as a source of a problem here without providing any evidence of how that's specifically harmful. \n\nYes, we have an influx in international students - often underinformed young people scouted by private companies in places like India who are gravely mislead on what to expect once arriving in Canada. International students specifically are facing tons of injustice and being used as cash cows by companies and our government, since international tuition is much higher than domestic tuition. \n\nBut right now, skilled immigrants are helping build our cities back up. It takes a lot of people to plan, design and build infrastructure, to repopulate failing systems (cough cough, healthcare), etc. We're in a recession and individual industries are struggling a lot right now - but not because of immigrant workers. In fact, they are picking up slack, taking jobs no one else wants to do, and keeping the gears of our society turning.

Canadians should ask themselves this…how many Indians move to Brampton and collect welfare? Looks like Indians own the businesses in Brampton. That is immigration at its best. Indians appear to add to the economy and prosper. In US Mexican immigrants come to take welfare. Make babies, not get married as then man’s income is part of household and less $$from government, and collect WIC, food stamps, housing subsidies and monthly welfare checks. WTH? uS is buckling under this f*ck*ery. US will give Canada two Mexicans for every one Indian. Be careful what you wish for!

Feels like it's the trend across the world now; too much population (demand) and low supply of housing, and lots of companies are buying up housing (homes, condos, etc.) just to take their employees' wages back in the form of rent. It's freaking insane.

Just try to Google who are CEOs of below top companies like Google, IBM, Microsoft, Adobe, Diageo, Arista Network, CHANEL, NetApp, Nokia, PEPSI Co, Onlyfans, Twitter etc etc. list is like never ending. We got Freedom from Britishers in 1947 and it’s not even a century and see how far we have come clearly shows the capabilities, potential & farsightedness of us Indians. We both are culturally sound and capable enough to adopt & grow in any environment of any country. Today we are getting Engineers Doctors to Aeronautical Specialists to Labour in Warehouses, Manufacturing plants & Crop fields to Professors, Politicians to scientists, bankers, investment planners to Food retailers, Restaurants workers, City workers to Skilled workers. Although México isn't the greatest country, the part where i live (Near the center) is fairly safe, I've never been robbed or been involved in some cartel shit that you've heard of Mexico everyday (I'm 25 yo). The opportunity aren't the best either but aren't so bad...\nI mean, I've just finished the bachelor degree two years ago, I'm planning to buy a house with my girlfriend and making quick math we calculate it would take us about 3 - 4 years to save enough to buy one (Earning like 1200 USD monthly) taking in consideration that you can give yourself certain luxury's like hitting the road every weekend in motorcycle, visiting some places along the way, eating good food and stuff, with out sacrificing the rent or any basic necessities, then you remain with enough money for any emergency or urgent thing that comes out later.\nWatching this video makes me feel lucky of been here in Mexico even it isn't a very stable county i could say that the quality of life is fair enough (At least in the part where I am).\nSorry for you Canadian people...
