Cheers from Alberta. Yes, many good things here. As someone who moved from Ontario to Alberta years ago, one thing you need to realize: small towns and rural Alberta are among the most politically and culturally backward in Canada (Things are changing, slowly…) so, by comparison, our neighbours in BC tend to be much more socially and culturally progressive than here. Nevertheless, good economy so far.

Pretty good Adam I'd just mention a few of those things are...I don't want to say inaccurate but way more diverse. For instance French. Yes Quebec is the only French province BUT New Brunswick is the only Bilingual province and basically half and half. This is good for things like federal of provincial services because by law they must provide service in both languages but not so basically everywhere else. The problem with this is you can have an almost completely English town almost nobody speaks French and drive 15 minutes and be in a town where nobody speaks English. Research on this might be hard because a town with a French name may not have any French people in and vise versa. Also this problem is multiplied in the fact that if you Do want a French area we don't speak standard French or Quebecois but instead Le Chiac which is a difficult and confusing mix of old French and english (almost exactly like the Cajun dialect). Second part of this is that Montreal is easy to live in if you don't speak French and is so multicultural you are just apt to hear Swahili as French in public. Last part is be very careful where you move on the prairies as they have may isolated towns some that speak French also. Next is tipping I've never had to tip anyone for a haircut outside of the military and all other forms of tipping here on the east coast are purely optional and wait staff don't get upset if you don't leave a tip unless you were a jerk or left them extra work like making a big mess (I worked as cook for a while after I got out of the army and I rarely ever head staff complain) HOWEVER....tip a waitress well and she might accidentally give you 2 pieces of pie lol and tip a taxi driver well and he will not only get you the cheapest fare he will find ANYTHING you may need no questions asked. Lastly on the nice thing....we are nice for sure especially compared to our southern neighbours BUT there is a lot of passive aggressive nice that happens and this also varies greatly. For instance as a city boy of course you answered the way you did but a guy who have lived all over this country in big and small, French and English places who now has retired to a rural town I can say I find the cities quite snobby and the French and the English can be quite snobby to each other and where I live now if you asked a random stranger for 5$ chances are you would get it also driving down the road people you don't know will just wave at you as if you were the closest friends. Canada is certainly a weird place so many extremes and my advice to anyone wanting to move here is do your research and then visit and travel a bit if possible because even us Canadians can be surprised by thing or two across this gigantic country

Good information \nI checked all the Canadian immigration programs.They are offering jobs for international in mostly Catagory C and D For Catagory A they have Many restrictions.The employers Need LMiA to hire forgien workers.And you also have to get licenses. go through a long process to get licenses.in skill level C or D you hardly cover your own living expenses.Even in skill level A with out license your pay will not cover your living expenses.you are very wise

Having a military spouse we have moved many times across Canada. I was born in the province of Québec and have live in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. I agree with Québec rating, British Columbia should be higher Vancouver Island is amazing and Alberta should be lower. Yes! Prices of house are cheaper , health care is good except during the pandemic but too reliant on oil prices. Their also not much sense of community in Alberta.

100% correct. I was one of those who left Canada. The funny thing is I found many Canadians (not migrants) who are engineers worked in the low income jobs in my place and a very good friend of mine who is a Caucasian Canadian at the end moved to South America. Another thing is it is not always easy to move on from low income jobs there. I met an Indian who is an engineer after living there for 30 years became a taxi driver.

a lot can be said about your narrative. you failed to mention the age of immigration. That alone is THE single most important factor on the out come of the exercise . anyone over 40 should not immigrate. second the education and skill set you bring will be a major factor in the out come. Third there is systemic racism after a certain level which one can feel in very job. i strongly believe one should come to Canada, get top quality education and skill, work with top quality people/organizations which should not be more than 5-6 years, then go back home. the long term price of immigration is huge. The tax in Canada is not very high. At least compared to many other Western Nations. \nI came from Germany to Canada and the tax in Canada is a joke me according to me. Income tax with social contributions is roughly 42% even on average salaries in Germany. Sales tax is 19%. Cost for energy and fuel is almost ten times higher than in Canada.\nSure, Canada is pretty expensive. Housing, food and medication are massively overpriced compared to many at EU countries. I need medication every month and in Canada I pay roughly 180 Dollar while in Germany it was zero. Even without the health insurance I would only pay 30€ a month for that.\n\nOverall Canada is good, but doesn't necessarily offer a better quality of life. Due to too many unhappy citizens of many lands, most productive, constructive countries are over- flooding with other nations peoples. It’s too much. When a person goes somewhere other than their own land less and less of these countries are willing to allow any more refugees in their country. Why because it’s about economics. In economic in an economy all things must be paid for. This is an Democratic society, almost all things are available through businesses. The medium of exchange for all ‘goods and services ‘ are conducted through the means of money. The masses of our nations people are not wealthy. Which most indulge themselves in employment. Employment in exchange for hours of pay we get paid.!The person most quailed to be employed are the citizens of these nations and not other nations people. What I am saying is that each land is more interested in their own home grown employee. So when you the non resident come without our permission you are the one placing yourself and your family in peril. Which means you are responsible for the pain and losses you suffer do to you either misunderstandings or non-available knowledge. Work towards asking for a better government for your own home land. And less people will be disappointed when you are rejected from lands who are already too filled !

Many people throughout the world seem to have so many stereotypes about Americans. Whether it is good or bad there typically is some truth in a stereotype. Overall it seems like you are enjoying yourself and no matter what there is no place like home. I would think no matter what your current situation is you still miss Canada as I would miss the United States if I were to move to Canada. \nA couple things you mentioned in the video were not correct and as with anything there may be a little truth in the matter but yet still incorrect.\nThose who do not have health insurance are not charged or taxed $150 monthly. There is a provision in the affordable care act (ACA) that penalizes certain individuals who make above a certain dollar amount. The amount is either $150 or $300 for the entire year. I concur any monetary penalty against anyone for not having health insurance is outrageous. I could be wrong but I believe this aspect of the ACA was never implemented under President Obama and it was indefinitely suspended or revoked by President Trump. I also feel like I need to address your thoughts about the United States all about war. I believe the American people are like most other people and want peace and civility. The government and major defense contractors have differing opinions at times. Of course there is plenty of people who are war hawks but they are in the minority. Most of us are absolutely sick of war. We currently have been at war for almost 19 years. That's six complete world war 2's in their entirety. \nI think you were being awfully generous when you said obesity is on par with the rest of the world!! Unfortunately there is far to many fat people here and the problem is only getting worse because the media says be happy and proud you are fat. But that all changed drastically when he came to power. Then killing and slaying unbelievers with harshness and without mercy was justified in innumerable verses. The verses quoted to prove Islam’s tolerance ignore many other verses that bear no trace of tolerance or forgiveness. Where is tolerance in this well-known verse “Alarzu Lillah, Walhukmu Lillah.” (The Earth belongs to Allah and thus only Allah’s rule should prevail all over the earth.)

How many others are there? Stop and think about the benefits that ghost immigrants will be collecting. From health care to retirement benefits, on the backs of hard working people that are overtaxed and under served. Good work for the investigators but shame on the government for this weak nation

The Sikh's are entirely opposite of the Muslim population. Although many Muslims do work and contribute, it is still a high percentage that depends on welfare benefits. The Sikh's have a great work ethic and they will help you along in setting a great example of a good worker, in case you are lacking in that. Most Sikh's are very high earners, millionaires even, owing to HARD WORK. In my entire life, I never met a SINGLE lazy Sikh. They are very enterprising people.

I don't know if the computer test is as accurate as it could be. I know for myself when I took it presenting the e key as bad and black and the i key as good and white then reversing it once you got in a rhythem really messed me up. There were many words that I had a brainfart and had to refer back to the labels to remember the keys. I think if it was presented in the reverse order it would probably change my results.

The canadians are as cold as their weather...poor guy got rejected after such a DUMB MOVE .Generally speaking living in the US is way easier than in Canada ,where you have to be a genius (overqualified) to get almost any decent job.Not to mention the brutal winters (except vancouver) Only 2 good things about canada : it's healthcare and safety . Much easier to have a comfortable life in the US despite being undocumented .You just have to keep a low profile and be a law abiding citizen.The american economy is simply the BIGGEST in the planet .So many businesses : someone will give you a chance ...as simply as that !
