seriously my heart breaks for these people, but for fucks sake we have inflation, our two party system seems to be failing in the way of agreeing and working on anything together, rising cost of living, etc, we can't take EVERYONE, this is ridiculous, if we do the children being born today won't even recognize the america us Mid Mellenials experienced, I am all for proper immigration, and some asylum, but we would be better off by trying to help them go home and fix thier country, so sad the American dream is slipping away more and more.

Can’t help but that if the US spent in Ukraine what Europe has? That leftover 150 Billion could’ve helped down south. I’m all for helping Ukraine. But damn. How are we supposed to effectively help clean up other countries shit when we’re up to our chins in our own shit? \nWe SERIOUSLY need to clean up our own house before digging into someone else’s.

I don't agree with them trying to force their way over the border. But, what we now know as America was overrun by Europeans fleeing Europe. Stop promising them all this help. They won't come in droves if they know they ain't getting a penny from us. \nThe ones we do take in, start with housing them in the Governor's mansion in each state. \n\nThis is AMERICA. I came to the states when I was little unfortunately I had to start working I was 15 I worked in a restaurant so i could support my sick mother in my country then I learned English and moved into a different job I never had the opportunity to go to the school since Noone would supported me !! I fall in love with some US girls we have 2 kids she worked sometimes I never pushed her to do so ! I tried to fix papers but the lawyers took my money and never did nothing about it ! I got into a traffic incident I got a ticked and fine once I payed off I get caught and sent back to a place I should call home !! I don't know nobody here don't know the place anymore !! dangerous people crazy !! my kids abandoned in the states now probably their mother asking for help to the government? who knows the last thing I heard is she was selling what it used to be our properties! I don't have contact with my kids anymore ! is horrible then we have this people just going there and getting asylum??? not fare!

When you say that Canada is more liberal than America, for who, though? They are not more liberal for blacks they are more liberal for the white race, period. What Americans do not understand is that there are people in other Countries who are starving because their Countries have gone bankrupt, or their government system has collapsed in those Countries. I have spent significant time in Calgary, Vancouver, and Victoria and was stunned by how much less white racism I encountered than anyplace in the US. \nWe had car trouble out in the country, and white guys stopped to help us out. If it had been in the US I would have been prepared to fight, judging by the way they looked. This woman's story is very subjective and personal. It’s sad because many are in tears and desperate but the USA ?? isn’t prepared financially nor can it hold so many people coming in. We are struggling ourselves to survive. Many of us want to help but we can’t and if they come in we are screwed! People have this misconception that the USA ?? people have all this money etc and we truly don’t. El Paso is getting overrun pretty soon and it’s tough to live here because you don’t know what is going to happen.

This is really tragic, but it doesn't seem like anyone is asking what can be done in Mexico, or Venezuela or Guatemala, or wherever, to help create an environment where people can be safe and have real economic opportunity there? This is not good. There is a reason these people are risking life and limb to flee their home countries trying to come to the US.

This doesn't move me with sympathy, it moves anger in me. My family and I were homeless in the U.S. all because I decided to further my education with a school who claimed to be accredited and all this stuff but quickly found out it all was a sham....so in not securing my deposit on a new place or being financially able to fight an eviction were the property basically got paid twice for bs they didn't handle...all because the irs took my income tax which I was depending on being I just started a new job and had 3 weeks before my first paycheck...we were on the street....everywhere I turned was a wait-list and no one I mean no entity would help us..... claiming lack of funding or some proof of homelessness other than papers proving your eviction....just so many ridiculous things....it took us a while to get off the streets and this is kids born on this soil....with a citizen who never been in trouble with the law, 3.8 gpa, educated and motivated and employed.....on the street and although now we have a roof as U.S. CITIZENS still struggling to find our footing....and STILL NO HELP...NOT A FOOD STAMP NOTHING and the lights are out due to the landlord....soooo I'm not sympathetic of these people....I struggled and still struggling in MY OWN COUNTRY WITH NO HELP FROM MY COUNTRY....GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM AND FIGURE IT OUT.....

US at this point can't help it's own homeless people plus thousands of immigrants will come soon... Continue to spend money on ukraine and Elenski war criminal, government doesn't give a shit about regular Americans. Good luck to you guys!

The last few mass shootings have all been immigrants ..
