Reason? Partly it is becasue many people from richer countries come here to escape their own terrible situations...

Honestly speaking, I never thought that there’s a lot of issues going on in Canada, during the college seminar, we were told that there’s good education (which is completely true), good pay rates for work, good housing and good society. After coming to Canada, I realized the rents are sky high, homeless people everywhere (it’s not their fault, they are homeless because of the government), drugs & weeds, everything’s expensive, high tax, couldn’t able to get even a low wage jobs? if I know these things are going to happen then I won’t come to Canada, also I don’t have enough money to pay back my education debt and I can’t go home without earning a single penny, I’m trying my best to spread awareness about the real issues that’s going on in here and I hope people will think twice before coming to Canada. \n\nOther than that, Canada?? is a beautiful country with amazing people, places and culture, I would love to be a part of it but if the situation is not gonna improve then I prefer to go back to India??

My friend’s family bought a house with tenant two years ago. Big red flag Ik. For the past two years they didn’t pay a single penny in rent. They’ve been fighting to get them evicted but they give excuses to not show up at court. Even accused the judge of being racist to delay the eviction process. Finally they got evicted by Marshall last week. They owe over $60k in rents. Now they have to sue to recover the rent. After paying lawyers to get them evicted, god knows how they’re gonna recover any money. \n\nThis is in NYC, it’s a messed up system. And it’s not gonna change anytime soon.

I understand peoples idea of leaving Canada. That's okay, you can do that. I'll never leave Canada. It's my home, it's gonna be my home. No matter what yes, we're going through some tough times right now but I can tell you right now. The whole world is going through some tough times it isn't just cand to blame everything on Trudo. Is not right. The conservatives have just as much in this game as anyone else. All these governments have basically fought amongst each other and did nothing to do anything good for Canadians. Now now to run away from Canada and say oh, it's terrible. Oh I can't live here. No more but. That's fine. Don't I get it right now? It sucks living in Canada. The cost of living is absolutely insane but that was federal governments, allowing big corporations to run the country. We have 3 large corporations that run the groceries. We have 3 large corporations that run the cell phone companies. And they charge whatever the hell they want. The government is to blame for all of that because they allowed it to happen and it is just the liberals who is the conservatives as well. They're all to blame for that. The thing is we have to voting. Governments that are actually going to do something to make things right agand we now have a world economy. It's not just a Canadian economy. We have to play by their rules. In order to survive, there's a lot of greedy people out there. And we're the ones in the middle. And that's the way it is until we change it ourselves. We just left Canada 2 weeks ago. Now we’re in the US. Canada has gotten worse for the last few years or decades according to some. When we applied for Canada, all the prosperity was promising. It was like second or third option behind the US and UK. And now, after 7 years, we have decided to really act and do what’s best for our family and the future of our kids. The main reasons why we left Canada, it’s the high and doubled taxes, the very slow healthcare, you get to start to zero despite your decades of managerial experience, they don’t honor your diploma cuz they have their own standard even if your education or work is US standard, the housing and rentals are skyrocketing. Imagine if the rentals are increasing every year by $50-150 is insane. It’s just so inhumane. Back in my birth country in the Philippines, if you’re poor or low income family..the government don’t tax you. You get a high percentage of healthcare assistance and you also get some free social services including monthly allowance from the national government and another separate assistance from the local government. Canada is beautiful if you have money with all the good and kind people around, but the expenses, it’s gonna kill your pocket.

You have to have travelled a lot of countries before you can appreciate how good Canada is. Ive been away for 3 yrs now in some 10 different countries have to say Canada is still my favourite if I was a younger person , hungry and motivated to succeed. It just didnt suit me anymore with a family lifestyle and travel , that I moved overseas. I knew grass wasnt always gonna be greener , its all about the tradeoff. It didnt suit me anymore at this point in time, but it was for 40 years, thats a double lifetime for some. Like you said , Im glad of what Canada has me me become and taught me everything that I know in life.

Nah, you're not leaving Canada. At the very least, you're not giving up your Canadian passport at least. You are leaving Canada because of the situation in Vancouver, where you don't even live?? Nah. you just want to be a non-resident and pay less tax. What if you can't travel anymore?? If homeless people situation bothers you, USA likely is not gonna be your choice...unless you're doctor or something. Then again you're not as far as we know.
