Hate, that is all that is coming from the anti immigration lobby. They hate the Latinos because they represent the ancestors that were the real founders of America, the Native Americans. They were the Mayans, Incas, Aztecs, and North American Tribes. The truth is those who label themselves as 'real Americans' just live in fear and denial of the basic fact that their European ancestors murdered and pillaged these people into poverty. Their gold stolen, land invaded, and women raped; the three main talking points that are used against these people just wanting a better life. America is a melting pot, get over it because this hate is just the pot calling the kettle black; hypocrisy at its finest.

Stop portraying illegal immigrants as victims. I have friends who waited more than 10 years, some even 20, just to migrate to the US. They came from poor countries too, but they still followed the law. And these types of people should stop using their length of stay in the US an excuse not to get deported when they entered illegally in the first place. Also, 15 years in the US and still no English? Immigration should be a a win-win on both the country and the applying immigrant.

Why should we have open immigration and foreign temporary workers......when Canadians are losing their jobs, businesses are closing and multiculturalism is used as an excuse to hire all diverse workers ie Walmart?

What are people talking about saying half of Canada is french! Canadians are English and there used to be tons of us in Montreal, but 300,000 left in a mass exodus to get the French whip off their backs, they even fill the French text books with lessons given by the French whip instead of the truth about how the French didn't want to fight in the war and the old cemeteries are full of Irish, Scottish and British soldiers like my grandfather and uncle buried in veteran memorial plots with sad little Quebec government markers! Meanwhile, their English speaking grandchildren like myself not only have a back full of lash marks from the French whip but the French speaking immigrants think they can use the French whip to grind us into the ground our ancestors are buried in as well!!!

Immigrant wishful thinking. Canada does love immigrants and most of it's populace are immigrants, but that is only for well documented immigrants with high human capital. Canada uses a point based system to see whether new immigrants can contribute to society. Trudeau is making things worse. Look at the influx of Haitians coming to Quebec. I live in Toronto, Canada.\n\nFirstly, their are 500 men,women and children being placed in hotels temporarily. Much better than cages! \n\nSecondly, these individuals have already gone through the immigration process, hearing claims, back ground checks, medical checks. So these individuals in hotels have already been accepted to stay in Canada. They are in hotels due to Housing shortage issue. \n\nThird, way more illegal immigrants have been detained and removed from Canada. \n\nFourth, most of these people are families. Canada is very skeptical of accepting males. Sorry guys! \n\nFifth, these hotels have a contract with the government. These are the same hotels that were used to temporarily shelter Syrian refugees. Usually 3-4 families stay in one hotel. 500 people won't be staying in the same hotel. Plus the hotels charge the government an insane amount. So they make money. \n\nSixth, more than 10% of hotel cleaning jobs go unfilled. Guess what? Most of these asylum seekers end up working in the hotels they're staying in because of program called Employing Newcomers in Canadian Hotels Project. \n\nDon't worry about us America we know what we're doing. Trust me, no children were separated from their families and placed in cages.

Canada refugees and asylums are to be blame for this. I don't see Canadians converting to Islam.. I see the Canadian immigration taking them in by the thousands, this is why they are the fastest growing religion in Canada. Canada is potentially another Sweden and France. I hate to use the public transportation and these NINJAS choose to come sit right next to me. I get very nervous

Why does liberalism today must stand for unshackled pratices that are unraveling before us?? I consider myself a liberal and honestly i think i believe much of their policies are driven by madness, not all of them but many of them. Liberals must be taught a course about rationalism,because many of them are now forcing our civilization to starting at an abyss! Whether it be here in america or Europe,we must all rethink the liberal policies and prevent the genocide of our way of life. Here in lies the problem, folks. This man was in the USA for 15 years, and he STILL has to give an interview in Spanish, when he arrives in yet ANOTHER country, whose primary language is English. If you immigrate, you assimilate, or you do not succeed! His children look very young, was he hoping to use them as anchors?

A lot of people comment about how illegal immigration is ok, and blah blah blah. It's simple to say that when you don't feel the direct impact. Change the US as a country to your house. Now let's say the neighbors land Lord is beating the shit outta everyone in that household (play on the violence that's happening in country of orgin). One of then move into your house without letting you know beforehand (illegals). Let's say you don't mind and understand why they did so. Now they work hard around the house and get a job to spend for themselves and send money next door to the family still left behind. . But they don't have to pay for electricity, gas (aka taxes). And since you own a 3 bed room house, things don't change that much. Now 2 more of the neighbors flee because of the asshole land Lord. Now you have to start working slightly harder to pay for your utilities aka taxes. Now you start seeing how more people affect your household. Now even more people flee the next door neighbors and you work even harder for utilities plus your trash is overflowing, have to invest in larger trash cans, fix the doors or ascetic's(pipes, faucets, tubs etc) in your house from over use or mismanagement. Plus you have to start driving their kids to school, you have to get a bigger vehicle (that's a play on the education systems bloating classroom problems)spend more on gas and car maintenance, and since they all don't speak English, to have to spend money on making signs to inform them of the house rules and dangers. You have to invest time out of your schedule to inform them how things work in your house hold because at their house they walked around naked or shit with the door open (play on different societal norms or religions) and may even have to alter your rules as not to impose and anger them. Know the house is over filled and they expect you to buy a bigger house (play on the welfare state)I mean I can go on... But people reading this can get the drift. Point is, yes i understand that people want a better life and all immgration in not necessarily evil, but you can't just let anyone come in because you feel bad. Making change based off emotions of a few is detrimental to the whole.

They are using the freedom of the west, its values and its socio economic status to continue their subjugation of western values. It is clearly a bulldozing of the west for the installation of Islam. Even at these population levels there are more problems than we can deal with liberally. It will only get worse unless the west rethinks it immigration policies and legal strategies.

He is not speaking English and expecting to find a job in English speaking country? He is either expecting for us to learn Spanish or he is expecting to live out of welfare. \nCompassion based mass immigration is hurting everyone as we need to pay for their life expenses. \nMerit based immigration is what is welcomed - learn the language, have some useful skills and apply. \nHoping to get everything free and expect to have the same living standard is equal outcome utopia that is hurting honest people through higher taxes and increased retirement age.

Yet Canada lets in numerous Indians from Information Technology or Call Centre backgrounds. Many of they barely speak English and they’ve replaced good paying white collar jobs that used to be held by Canadians. I will be voting Conservative In the next Federal election because there needs to be a change in the country’s immigration laws. Canadian jobs for Canadians.

RE: Canadian healthcare, my wife broke both her hips in 2017 in two separate falls, she was admitted immediately to hospital without delay and operated on the next day (half hip replacement), after physio and occupational therapy she was discharged and provided Homecare, 16 times per week plus weekly Day Hospital. Our cost for both operations was roughly $160.00 for parking spots for me so I could visit her and about $140 in Tim Horton doughnuts for staff. The system does not have enough of certain types of specialists thus wait times for those specialists, and there are wait times for elective surgery. The system has not really been reviewed since its inception in the 1960s but making significant changes is the third rail of Canadian politics and a hard look is justified after 70 years. Re: illegal crossings; The gentleman in the video has a problem in that the US and Canada have signed a “safe country” agreement and neither will accept refugees from the other as both Canada and the US are deemed “safe havens”. He crossed illegally, if he had crossed legally he would have been immediately turned back at the border but he clearly entered the country between border crossings and was likely arrested and released on recognizance but not returned immediately as the agreement is silent on illegal entries (yes, seems a touch strange). As many people are leaving the US for Canada the system is overwhelmed. Tent cities have been set up in Quebec and public housing used in Manitoba to house illegal immigrant pending processing - those with criminal records are held for deportation. Canada has accepted roughly 25,000 Syrian refugees from camps in that part of the world. These refugees were first vetted by the UN then Canada. These refugees are completely different from the people crossing the border illegally from the United States. This pales to the 75,000 boat people accepted after the fall of Saigon. Canadians have been generally accepting of refugees but wants the process guided by the rule of law. Immigrants are a separate from refugees and the rules governing their entries into Canada are different.

What, did he think he would be given a free ride? Does he actually think immigrating to a new country wasn't going to cost him anything? How many years did he live in the US? And now, in Canada for the last 10+ months, yet he can't speak a fucking word of English? \n\nNow he complains that the process is taking too long, yet, had he immigrated legally (as he should have), it would have taken FAR longer and would have to spend that time inside his home country...\n\nI really don't get his attitude, he feels as though he's entitled to immigrate to the US, even though he made absolutely no effort in doing so legally, made absolutely no effort into learning the most widely spoken language on Earth, so he became a criminal by illegally crossing the border and living in the US for years... It should be more easy to invade another country and use their welfare system for noncitizens... What a shock, a 1st world country doesn’t want undocumented, illegal immigrants in their country to use services reserved for its citizens.

To all the people saying why dont these immigrants stay in their county to make it better---here is a little think piece because i used to say the same thing\n\ni used to say the same thing but we are blindsighted by your american privilege. My parents are immigrants and i told them the same thing, why dont people stay to make their country better? And they flat out told me it will get you killed. Americans have no idea how coniving amd evil leaders in other countries can be. Just the other day, a dictator from eritrea was bargaining prices with Israel to send back refugees from his country. He said the refugees fleeing his regime should be given 50k to be deported from isreal because they risked their lives. You would think he really meant that right? As soon as those refugees come back hes taking that money and sending them to a forced slavery like military program. There is no such thing as human rights. So if you were in such a dire situation, dont you think you would do anything to get out? The only solution i see is if the entire world could be under a larger, strong governing force that keeps leaders in check and can withold vital resources from offenders. The UN isnt cutting it.

There are many problems with anti-immigrant rhetoric and one of them is the classification who is and who isn't an immigrant and the question of when does a person stop becoming an immigrant and become a Canadian? A significant portion of people living in Canada are first/second/third generation Canadians and so, how do we classify these people, are they immigrants or are they not? And what of their parents/grandparents who immigrated, are they? It's very important to note that without their ancestor parents, all these first/second/third gen Canadians will not be here and they are now 'Canadians' today because we had pro-immigration laws. Also, the idea of accessing services is by itself, very problematic. I spent the first 4 years of my life here paying high tuition fees as well as tax that are used to subsidize fellow Canadians' tuition fees yet I'm not able to access any government services. Following graduation, I worked as a worker on visa where my tax was no less than an average Canadian yet government services were very much inaccessible to me. It was only after I became permanent resident, that somehow everything suddenly became available to me. I have been tax paying 6-7 years before I became a PR here yet all those years, I wasn't able to access a single thing yet somehow, after I became PR, I'm eligible for everything? The tax argument doesn't make sense at all. I will be eligible to apply for citizenship in like a year and does that mean now I am one of you, Canadians?

what we need is an enlightment movement with islam where the individual determines whats best for themselves rather than these literal interpretations. In the U.S. at my school many of the 3rd generation muslim kids my age are becoming integrated. Girls wear hats that conceal their hair and long sleeves that fit within their religions dress code instead of the burka and young men are very open to other people ideas such as alchohol use. The problem is when families control their children, as in any case really, and are less than open to change. As a son of an immigrant the most important step with integration is the elimination of your cultural identity, you leave your values in your own country because you are no longer in an enviorment where your opinion matters or is relevant. If muslims could adjust/conform their rules to fit the conscripts of western civilization everything would be dandy. Adapt to fit the society that you move into, dont try to reform society to better suit yourself expecially when your a foriegner.

I used to be a very liberal person for most of my life and tolerant of other cultures and religious faith, like many others I may add.\n However my tolerance is wearing somewhat thin, like many others I may add again, after hearing the same old opinions coming from Muslims repatriated in western societies. \n They come into our cultures on mass and never assimilate into ours, but create their own little pockets of cultural being within our national borders.\n We hear time and again how the indigenous populist must be accepting of them, even though very few are accepting of our culture, using an analogy it's akin to inviting a stranger into your home and give them a safe place to live, food, money and all items that go along with it, and the next thing their sat on your favourite chair with your remote in their hand, even going to bed with your wife!\n We need to wear our head covering it's our right they chant, OK then, afford the same favours to us in your country, let my partner wear her bikini when she's walking down the road, let us drink alcohol, build Christian churches, you get where I'm going with this.\n If it's so great there why do you choose to live here? All the customs you seek are there if you feel that uncomfortable here? \nGiving Sewden as an example, there are now 180 Muslim 'ghettos' not the same you get in the US as the accommodation and welfare is quite generous there, a lot of them are 'No-go' areas even for the police, they mostly hate the Swedish people, a criminal element there will only rob off the swedes, and rape has gone up tenfold committed mostly by the Muslims, and it's only going to get worse as they are accepting another forty thousand of them, even though they have a crisis of a shortage of housing. \n If you ever needed an example of when your political parties have totally lost the plot, and are insanely progressive and what your country could become, then use Sweden as a barometer as to what your country could also decay into.\n The Muslims hate use, hate our freedoms, and just think of us as 'infidels' , multiculturalism has proved on this scale that it does not work, unless immigrants come with the mindset that they assimilate into the culture they are heading for, not the other way around.

Islam is not a religion - its an ideology! The basis is in the Quran, Hadiths and in Sharia. Thereby Islam never can be integrated into a western society - thereby muslim immigration should be as little as possible.Listen to them - here we have freedom to use our hijabs etc - but truth is - if or when Islam becomes the majority there will be no freedom: no pork, maybe a slavelike form for Christianity, it will be beheadings, stonings of raped womens etc etc.We welcomed Islam into our countries - we have all seen what it brings.
