My daughter is nearing the end of 2 great years in Canada on an IEC (backpacker) visa from Australia. She’s loved the people, the landscape (mostly lived in BC and Alberta) , and working there…. She picked up interesting jobs, worked very hard, just about made ends meet, has been great. \n\nShe was even offered a permanent job by a major Canadian co last year (she was working for them on a one year role at the time) that would’ve paved the way for her to apply for PR…but she turned it down without a second thought….. for all the reasons you would know about \n\n- Wages aren’t great (maybe 20% less than australia), \n\n- taxes are high (incl having to pay CPP…in australia the employer pays all pension contributions, on top of wages), \n\n- groceries prices out of kilter, \n\n- rents consume most of what’s left…. \n\n- AND, even if you could save a deposit for a house, or shoebox apartment….what’s the point, could never afford it. \n\nShe’s seen nearly all her Canadian friends resigned to their fate of being perennial renters, of being perpetually skint. It’s no life. She’s sad to see it - coming from a country of perpetual optimism and opportunity, to learn over time how such a (on many levels) similar country isn’t like that, that has somehow got it all so wrong. \n\nIf you are thinking of “australia” as your answer, it’d be a fair call\n\n- Avoid Sydney if you can (a less expensive Vancouver) but rest of the place is “workable”. \n\n- Average wage in Perth is $100k (C$90k) and average house (full size…not an apt or townhouse) price is about $700k (C$630k) …so do-able, if tight to start with, for youngsters (like you..!) \n\n- I’ve been to Vancouver’s East Hastings St, and so can confirm is nowhere close to that in Oz. Are sketchy parts of all cities, but it’s definitely not community wide\n\n- are small pockets of homelessness (esp but not only indigenous community) but the governments are mostly (sort of…) “on it” \n\n- sun, sea, sand… and the sharks rarely come close to shore!

Unfortunately, you get the terrible kind of Indians migrating to Western countries as cultural immigrants. Earlier during the British era, it was only high-quality immigrants from Bengal and Tamilnadu who won Oscars, and Nobel Prizes, and invented multiple medical treatments, took yoga to the west. After Indian independence people from the culturally worst states of India migrated to the West. Those states are already famous in India for being religiously bigot, conservative, being abusive to women. These people never go to the West to enrich themselves but go only to earn money. Now western people can't differentiate them from the rest of the Indians. Although many are trying ....Australian universities banned students from specific Indian states, and UK universities restrict them. Other genuine Indians are taking the hit for those bastards. It's not a good sight to see every visa medical, application center filled with Punjabis, they tore down the Indian image of taxi, and truck drivers as their image is the same in India.

13 K international students should NEVER be allowed to apply for asylum. Canada does not need any of them. GO HOME Canada has no moral responsibility to welcome anyone into the country. I believe Justin Trudeau has a moral responsibility to take care and make sure Canadians come first.

I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. I love the fact that you spoke some harsh truths here sir, much respect to you and your family sir. I hope you can continue making such informative videos for people to learn from. The other thing I have to add is that the word racism is thrown around too much and too easily in our current woke cultural climate here in Canada and this is just making the immigration issues worse because it produces a culture of fear for those Canadians that would like to help educate those immigrants that need help. But they do not do so because they are afraid of being labeled a racist or some other word and having their livelihoods and overall lives ruined. I am in a position in life where I do not care if people want to say such things about me. I am also well educated and in the position to come up with well articulated arguments in my defence. My main issue with immigration that bothers me more than the rest not only affects us Canadians but also affects the immigrants as well. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Racism is such an antiquated way of thinking… Our skin colours maybe different, just like our cultural backgrounds, but after all is said and done we are all members of the human race. There is one other reason that hatred towards member of your country is going up and it is simply because our hatred for our own government is so high right now and we are all only human. Some of us lash out at people that do not deserve it when we are really upset. That doesn’t make it ok. But I know that the fact that we Canadians hate our government more than ever right now, is due to the simple fact that our own government is not listening to our issues and what we want done with our country. Then that same government will labels us as right wing extremists simply for the fact that we no longer support our current government for example. Canadians are more angry now than they have ever been. The RCMP have been advised about this across the whole of Canada, so you know it is a real issue. I can control myself and will never snap at others due to how frustrated I am, so I would like to apologize to those of you that may have a bad experience with another frustrated Canadian. This is really not our normal behaviour. We’re are all stressed out and being called the bad guys by our own government just exacerbates the whole issue. Again, cheers to you all!!!

I was born in Vancouver, lived in Canada all my life, never had a good paying job but worked hard just to get a little over $500/month in CPP.. I'm a senior now and I can't afford to live in Canada. I've been travelling since I retired in 2023 and mostly housesitting internationally so that keeps my housing costs down which is a big part of living expenses.

One day we passed by this store, I asked if I can check my ring size first because I am a potential customer everyone should be considered a potential customer. These 2 Indian clerks were there and that 1 guy told me he can’t check my ring size because If I take the other guys time who does the checking then I will be paying for his time because he is also doing other stuffs on the computer.. He says I will be taking away his time from the computer if he checks my ring size…The nerve.. I never want to deal with them again even customer service on the phone when I know its Indian I just hung up the phone and dial again and wish its not them because I know I will never get a satisfactorily and respectful conversation with them.

As A North American Native (Canadian Cree Indian) I know how we Natives Lost Our Beautiful Country in Immigration of the British People - We will Never get our country back - seeing whats going on Now in Canada (Smiles) Hmmmm maybe just maybe they will know how we felt back then - asked if we want the country back in this state Canada is in - Hell No its there bed they can sleep in. I do have sadness for them as to what lies ahead in this struggle we know as we went through it when we were overrun with western ideology and assimilated almost out of existence, our merge in has had its struggles even still to this day, keep immigrating and loss the war - best now is stop all immigration and assimilate all before even putting immigration back on the table to win the war - my native best advice we natives never listened too and lost.

Hi… I totally agree with just about everything you stated in all aspects of the Indian community. I’m a Canadian who happens to be living in Brampton for the past 12 years. I’ve watched Brampton go from a beautiful community to a dark dreaded place to live , and this is truly because of Indian behaviours. Mind you I have many genuinely good intelligent respectful Indian friends, but there’s the others that thinks they owe the city, province, and country. They don’t respect no one, and I mean no one. NOT EVEN THEIR OWN KIND (Indians/ Punjab). And yes as a Canadian citizen whenever I see something I do call them out on it. However; the moment you say something to them they assume that you’re cursing at them and what was ment to be a respectful comment becomes a situation where they want to argue and even get into a physical fight. Then there’s the bad, careless driving on the streets with no regards to the next person’s life. They drive like their car is the only one on the street yet always looking for someone to race with not to mention the illegal U-TURN creating major accidents. I personally experienced this when a Tractor Trailer Driver tried making a U-TURN on the city street with only 4 lanes for both direction at 4AM in the morning. This caused me to almost ran under the trailer body which would have been the end of my life. They butt into lines and interrupts as much as business conversations thinking their concerns are way more important than anyone else’s and That’s just to name a few things.\nNow on the other hand I do have VERY GOOD RESPECTFUL INDIAN FRIENDS who I will never let go of our friendship because of their genuine respectful relationship although even those close friends are now pulling themselves away from their own country people and all because of the others behaviour.\nThirdly; YES, the Canadian government invites foreign students into the country with improper sources to monitor and direct a governing body to monitor and process the activities of foreign students .\n\nI love your honesty in your stories back your video clips as proof of your country men behaviour. Canada's TFW scheme is just nutso, and that's coming from an Australian who is living with many of the same pressures as Canada in 2024. You have roughly 40 million people - about 12 million more than Australia - and some genius decided that importing 3 million people from the subcontinent was a GOOD idea ? Like Australia, the majority of your population is clustered in a small number of cities - new arrivals are going to head straight for the path of least resistance. No shame in that (I lived in a notorious 'ghetto' dominated by foreigners in Thailand) but it was never going to be well received by the locals. Toronto and Vancouver, anyone ? These are indians from villages brining village indian culture. They shit on train tracks every morning. They never seen toilet before coming to canada. They have program in village. Bus comes fills up villagers, takes them to airport. Plane lands in canada. Bus comes and takes them to brampton. They have not seen anything in the world besides thier village and brampton. Not all indians are like this. These are village people who cant read english or hind. They only know punjabi.

You want work in Canada go to rural areas and get into logging.\n You will be about a 6 hour drive from Toronto. \n But you'll find work and houses prices affordably.\n Wait no that was 25 years ago when i was 15 i worked at a mill that's now closed. I made $7.25/hour then man beside me had been there for 40 years or so amd was making $9/hour.\n Canadians have never been rich only hard working exploited and since demanding better pay as the boss drives exotic imported cars but we can't even eat or have a vehicle the mill closes and everybody has no work.

There are only two things about living in Germany I could never adapt to. The more or less atrocious weather during seven months of the year and the crazy tax burden. I still feel robbed looking at the huge difference between salary stated in my work contract and the actual take-home pay. On top of that, consumer and energy prices are bloated due to abusively high indirect taxes. It's all the worse considering that in neighbouring Switzerland the tax situation is the exact opposite, without compromising government service quality in any way.
