They go every year to spend the summer vacation in the country from which they fled, and after they take citizenship, they go to middle east countries to work because they have Canadian citizenship, which has opened up a broader scope for work for them. Canada is a country that is built on middle class where a large part of the population are within the same earning range. There are positives to this, less crime, there is not a huge disparity between rich and poor which makes for a more sane environment don’t get me wrong, we still have our crime rate. Now you can see that the professional programs are limited compared to other countries in the universities and highly competitive so that you don’t have so many professionals with high earning power thereby creating a huge disparity. On the other hand, these high earners don’t get a tax return, get any govt cheque, their kids don’t get huge amounts for OSAP instead, they get billed to pay back the govt and that’s how those of you complaining now where able to get govt cheques when you just relocated, support low income homes and newly landed immigrants. There’s free health, good Ammenities, snow is cleared, the roads are salted and de iced, free Education, govt loans and school loans that’s where your tax money goes to. Everyone has an accent that’s your identity why will you feel somehow or intimidated when you are told you have an accent that’s being timid say yes I have an accent it’s African or Caribbean etc. About racism it’s rare never experienced it that’s not saying it doesn’t happen but am gonna call you out if it’s obvious I have been profiled. Yes the weather is harsh did you not look at your map before relocating ?? In all most of these complaints are individual experiences so I won’t invalidate it but don’t trash what you gained from. Retraining and certification is a must especially when you are coming from a certain country and it’s not a bad idea. Am in healthcare and retraining is a must if you didn’t school here cos it’s entirely different talk about work ethics, equipments, software, differentiation in policies, health laws and malpractice laws.\nLook at the brighter side of life and stop complaining migration has its pros and cons position yourself in a place to have a good life, go back to school, get certified, keep retraining and adding value to your certificate.

They're trying to get rid of the middle class and force rentals and no more ownership. Refugees and immigrants are allowed in to mess with demand and covid caused people to move out of the city, then American billionaires such as Bill Gates bought up all the vacant homes and are raising prices. We gotta fix the loopholes and only allow people who live here to own. Pretty much what happened in Rome is going to happen here and Canada has a lot of resources which is what China wants.

See friends, all the middle class and low class people in the world are suffering from the same problems. First there are no jobs, even if there are jobs they are misbehaved, mistreated, abused or exploited etc. Then what can be the solution for this problems? This is our common problem wherever we are living in. Just comparatively, some places are better but we don't have easy access to that special place. I think we can't escape this. There are always Big Brother and Subaltern in the world. I think there is no democracy where the voice is heard and justice,security in general,job after education,implementation of law,equitable social life is guaranteed in practice. The powerful dominates everywhere in the Nature. This law is applicable forever because there can be no complete ideal world. But we can just minimize if we involve in politics everywhere.

Heartbreaking. Unfortunately it is the same all over the world. Apartments in my country are up 3 times. Food is up double. It is post covid money printing. Rich people got super rich , middle class lost ground and ordinary people are fight for survival literally. And with AI it will only get worse. Capitalism is failing. Of course no country in the Middle East wants to take on a migrant population of 3 million people. Do we want 3 million people to come into the US from Venezuela? Real estate in Australia is expensive because the nation is highly successful and ordinary citizens are wealthy, and this includes real estate, plus with 3 billion middle class Asian's right above Australia the Asian economy dwarfs the US economy to insignificance. Job opportunities are dictated by the fields the economy needs - oil is insignificant in Australia compared to other industries. Geographic Isolation - Thank god the rest of the world is far away, as an Australian I wish it was further away. Air fares prior to pandemic were reasonable USA to Australia around $800 return - but this guy lives in Perth so to go 4-5,000km to the east coast will be expensive - on the east coast a one way ticket to another city can be had for around $50 to $80 - Again for Australians proximity to the US market is not significant we are focused on the Asian region. Natural beauty anywhere is amazing but I prefer a warm climate over a frozen one - The Canadian population is all centered around the US/Canadian border region the rest of Canada like central Australia is vastly empty. In conclusion I find many immigrants want to move from Australia to Canada is proximity to the USA but for Australians the US market or lifestyle is not attractive or important.

If you want to live in an Islamic state you move to a Muslim country. Canada is a secular democracy that guarantees your religious freedom. No Muslim country does that unless you are a Muslim. Wouldn’t it be much better if you considered yourselves human beings before all else? It is your humanity that gives the true power of redemption and being decent, moral individuals. No religion on earth does that. Not yours or any other. Belief is not as important as knowledge and humanity. However, you must do what you think is right for you. Moved to Canada in 2017 and looking to leave in 2024. I was lucky to come here with a job and I’m making a six figure income even though I’m far from being successful. However, the problem with canada at the moment is even if you have a decent job and not too bad salary, you still can’t afford a home and the rent keeps going through the roof. Canada’s obsession with immigration is lazy and irresponsible. The politicians and elites see immigrants as cash cows and instead of creating companies that generate jobs and wealth, they speculate in the housing markets which are fuelled by immigrants. Immigration is not necessarily a bad thing but you do it with a plan, definitely not as radically as Canada did under the liberal government. The massive immigration only helps the rich, the already haves and the investors. Ask middle and lower classes how they feel about their life quality in Canada, do they really benefit from the immigration? They fight hard for jobs with minimum wages, pay for ridiculous rents, wait in the long line at the emergency rooms, get into bidding wars in the housing markets …. If you are not rich, simply don’t come to Canada. It’s not worth it unless you enjoy living from paycheck to paycheck and owning nothing.

Read the book by James Barr called A Line in the Sand. It effectively explains how the Middle East was divided up by the British and the French during the time when they were at the peak of their powers.

What all Indians miss is the dirt cheap labour to which the Indian middle class has access in India. I watched the whole video to find what actual problem you faced but could not identify a single one. I myself live in Europe since last 35 years and every time I visit India I see how people are constantly obsessed with eating out and show off. It’s obvious that if you are brought up in India then you will not be able to shed the bad habits younger used to.

But thinking with the same logic, all the other war and/or dictatorship refugees (from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan,...) would probably also prefer living in their own countries without the fear of terror, torture and death. I have to ask are you giving up your Canadian citizenship? And I have to tell you I bet you are going to keep it. And although I agree with some things eg: the extreme stance and slide into extreme liberalism, your move is one extreme to the other, and despite the cancel culture here it still stands for real freedom when compared to the middle east. I want to live in a little in a diverse community. My neighborhood in Scarborough is 90% Indian or Middle Eastern. When you have so many people of one ethnic group they do not assimilate but form a mini ghetto town They were telling us what to wear and what to learn. Secondly, Canada is full of vagrancy. For people commenting about house helps and maids being available in India, is it a healthy thing? The reason even middle class in india boasts about maids is the overpopulation of unskilled people and no minimum wages act that prevents exploitation of those house maids. Let government fix a minimum wage of 25000 for a full time maid and then see how many of us are able to afford them?
