I was on a bus trip to Tennesee one time and when we crossed the border back into Canada everyone broke out in our Anthem O Canada. It was exhilarating.

There is so much misunderstanding about the immigration: people believe we take too many immigrants, while in fact we need to maintain this level of immigrants per year for several years to address the labor shortage in the coming years as baby boomers are retiring...\n\nPeople believe that immigrants cause property values to rise and it is Trudeau's fault. Well, Australia has high sky property values, is very similar to Canada but doesn't have Trudeau. Yet the property values are sky high.\n\nSame is for Healthcare: compare UK or France. These countries don't have Trudeau but their Healthcare has deteriorated since COVID.

As an American and also a half Indian myself, I hear this guy . I have friends in Canada and they complain to me about the same thing. One of the things is that Indians refuse Canadians job positions because they are not Indian. How can u Indians refuse someone a job in their own country? And another thing. Changing Canadian culture just like he said. . Canada has a right to their own culture. U people cannot do that. U live in Canada not India. India has its own culture as well . Sadly to say u Indians brought the racism upon ourselves.

Many Indians, frustrated with the current government and financial hardships, seek to leave the country in hopes of a better life in the West. While educated individuals follow proper processes, the uneducated often resort to questionable means. In Canada’s case, this negligence on the part of both governments has had unfortunate consequences.\n\nI hope stricter policies and more accountability lead to better outcomes in the future.

These students scammed Canada immigration

The majority of Canadians are sick and tired of the amounts of Indians coming to Canada committing crimes. As a Black Canadian womam born and raised, l never seen anything like this in my whole 60 years of life. We cannot find affordable housing, they come over here wanting to be Canadian citizens, at the same time abusing the resources meanwhile, they go across the border to exploit the system. Immigration needs to close it doors to certain countries. Some Indians people come over here, and think they are still in India. They used Black people as a scapegoat, they are racist towards Black people, they think they are white, they don't consider themselves as colored.

Tyler there are 600 mass shootings in the U.S each year which is almost 2 a day per average and while they do not all take place in schools, how many mass shootings are tolerable? As long as Americans like yourself dismiss all the data to the contrary the U.S will continue to have the tragedies it does, When you look up mass shootings which is where there are more than 2 victims per incident you'll find Canada doesn't even register in those statistics because where the U.S has 600 mass shootings a year Canada hasn't had 600 in its last 100 years. So that is why Canadians mention school shootings as a reason, because the potential is real for it to happen. It is preventable tragedy but Americans as a whole need to want that change, until it does the rest of the world will always bring up gun violence and school shootings when the U.S is in the discussion. I am from Chennai, India, living and working in the USA. These students knew quite well that Fraud was committed in their visas. They do not come for Education; instead, they look for work in Canada, then higher wages in Canada, and better freebies from the Canadian government.

Similar story, grew up in Vancouver as a kid. Can't say that I got much from Canada other than a pile of student debt. With a top engineering degree from a Canadian university, no jobs, no interviews. If it set me up for a better future, I could give it some credit, but even with visas, I had *much* better luck with opportunities in the US and even in western Europe, which is similarly socialist to Canada. I have had to move from country to country thanks to the lack of decent opportunity in Canada. More liability than asset, in my experience, other than the passport. Glad I left when I did, only regret I didn't do it sooner. Good luck to wherever you go next. I hear eastern Europe is a cool place, if you bring your income with you ;-)

There is advantages to living in the US that appeal to Canadians for different reasons but if your family is in Canada it makes sense that when a Canadian who lives in the US comes into hard times you can’t replace the comfort your family can give you and if you don’t have a lot of money Canadian social safety nets and health care makes life a little easier to live.
