I realize a lot of people do not understand the world. As first generation American, i can say, 90% of Americans do not cherish their freedom. As i see everything unfold, i realize we might be next to be taken over. I don’t know if y’all would flee or what. China and Russia aren’t using us currency so we can’t monitor their spending. The lack of empathy here is staggering. Imagine if you lived every day not knowing where your next meal is coming from, surrounded by cartel violence, corruption, poverty, and war. Most of these people just want to find a better life. America used to be the land of opportunity where people can come from nothing and make a life for themselves. My parents came illegally but became citizens thru the amnesty from Bill Epstein i mean Clinton, i was born here in California, even though i love my Mexican heritage i still think this is wrong, we need more border control but we also need to be able to make it easier for the good people to come here legally. I will say I have been lucky in Calgary (moved to Alberta in 2011; became perm res in 2018) with my healthcare. I have a great liver specialist and family doctor as well as a backup. I just fell and cut the back of my head Monday (2 staples but nicely done; I do not feel any pain). I know that is not common for people. I think some of it is timing based on the comments. It will only get better if we quit USing it (i.e. politicizing it). As an ex-pat watching that dumpster fire, moving to Canada in 2010 (first year in YVR) was the right step for me (however, that said, being that I am plain white looking male, I know that made it so easy at least until I applied for Perm Res. Then, being a white american worked against me). Luckily, I had been involved with a Canadian citizen several years whom sponsored me for Perm Res. I really enjoy seeing your POV in your videos. I'm homeless, Navy Veteran and work full time. If housing programs can't help homeless Americans, how can we help immigrants. I want a home too. Update: I'll elaborate more on my situation. I served for four years. I lost my job as an Uber driver in 2018 after my car got repossessed. I live with my fiance who has PTSD from her family upbringing. She tries to work but she doesn't last long. We have gone to 3 different housing programs and they prove to be unhelpful. You make too much money from working they can't help you, if you make too little money they can't help you. WTF!!! All housing that is offered is usually in areas that are in high theft and homeless areas. People steal from you and you up right back in the streets. One program helped me become a fully trained security guard. We have also been in two car accidents, none were our fault. But now I'm stuck just living in a car and working full time. After I work all night I drive around at gas stations, asking people for money for gas and food. Every check I get goes to gas, food and bills. We manage our money wisely. Our money last a day and then we have to go straight back to asking for money again. Everyone I have asked for help is always a broken promise. I don't know what to do anymore.

Someone should let them know that the American dollar is going to be worthless soon.
