Chokor i came on early july and currently am in Scarborough i applied on job bank as soon as i came in toronto but its hard getting a work permit ,i did my research and i know around here its hard am moving to alberta province,in a rural place .

The one in saree is more proactive and independent. She knows she is in different country and accepts it and works with it.

US is even worse. You get no free health insurance and even you pay for health insurance you pay $3000 more per year out of pocket then 20%. More after each visit. When you get your medicine you are shocked to know you pay $500 to $1000s for your medicine. Vacation starts at 2 weeks. 3 bedrooms apartment in the cities are 1million+ and above. Outside city expect to pay 500 to 700k. For Boston and Sanfrancisco is double that. You also just work for 40 hours you work typically 60 to 70 hours per week to afford anything

People don't just get how life abroad works. Know what's up before you travel! Get the right paper work & visa, when the chips are down the excitement that comes with that visitor's visa will quickly fizzle out

Im 24 and been searching for a job for 1 year now. Not even 10 interviews. Im applying for EVERYTHING. Retail, production work, general labour, overnight work, housekeeping, cleaning / janitorial work, painting, customer service, call center, sales, factories..etc \nI'm applying in different cities and willing to take GO transit to work. \nI live near lots of big cities and somehow although they claim to be understaffed, they aren't hiring. \n \nI'd like to know the reason for this? There's nothing improving, homelessness is a MAJOR issue that is not being addressed but we are still taking in more people. These people are suffering and so many trying to get a job. \n \nI've contacted MANY agencies and they have had no jobs available FOR MONTHS \n \nCanada is only going to increase in homelessness. Theres been no improvement :(\n\nPeople suffering from homelessness and depression have been taking the euthanasia route because it feels like there's no hope or other option.

You are, once again, speaking very broadly which could be interpreted incorrectly as the norm. \n\nTo summarise: Yes, waitlists for doctors are long, but that is about the only universal truth in your segment. The migrants that I know, have better jobs than me. They don’t live in housing and are not on food stamps. They are not eligible for that assistance anyway because they were not born here and they make way more than allowed to be eligible. My neighbor is a migrant worker and he works in the pipeline industry. I have no idea how he got a job like that so quick. I work in retail as a service writer and maintenance guy.

And yet our so called politicians just sit and watch as hard working sympathetic people on the border work to keep these persons out, aa politicians watch while they are sleep and eat comfortably. Such a slap in the face to homeless people who were born, worked in, and lived in America all their life. Where is their “free ticket” to housing and resources? America makes it hard for their own; especially Blacks, to survive. Always some kind of impossible agreement they want you to agree with to obtain help. As a Black American, homeless and disabled; worked low wage jobs here in America over 30 years; was blocked from receiving my full lump sum disability because they knew it would have been enough to buy myself a home; Have been homeless over a year now and can’t agree to America’s rules for fair housing because their rules aren’t fair for Black Americans altogether. America have set Blacks against Blacks; put them in positions to turn other Blacks away from houses and resources; but all they care about is their job. They know their job requires the impossible for many Blacks to agree to, but they easily and intentionally overlook it. How can I agree to volunteer or work if I’m disabled? I applied for disability because I can no longer work. And…It took forever for me to get that. My long, steady work history will prove that I’m not lazy which is used as their excuse for not helping Blacks. America will bend over backwards to help foreigners while we sleep on the streets. You guys sound so stupid. It could take months EVEN YEARS to be able to be let in LEGALLY. AND on top of that it costs thousands for the legal process to work. How would I know? My parents. It took them 10+ years and probably more then 30k to win. and no they never had problems with any types of officials. Just in case assholes wanna assume that that’s the reason why it took so long.

Funfact i know a buddy who works in the border patrol and they are secretly allowing people in most of the time and usually catch few people on purpose to ensure they are doing thier job and its not just where he is its in every boarder.

I hate to see Mexican Americans working in law enforcement to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the country like legit if it was up to me I don’t have a problem with it but I can see why our country has issues with that due to the economy misbalance that can occur.
