These people need to go back and try to overthrow their government and restart the country with a better crop of politicians. I live in NYC, and have been to Canada at least four times, but the last time I was there was quite some time ago. I always had a good thought about Canada, because it seems like some of the problems we have in this city, Canada also has in some way. Right now the city is a complete mess; at post pandemic and with a bit of a recession and a noticeable increase in groceries to basic things like cat food and tissues. That's not the biggest problem, it really is the legislation or lack of for people who not care for themselves. Those homeless people are almost not helpable and I don't feel threatened by them, but other people definitely do. The way the government has handled these undocumented migrants is a complete disaster and couldn't have come at a worse time. We have a serious housing crisis as well, and people can end up paying for high rent, for not the best places, but they want to live in a certain location. The migrants are coming in at about 60k in the last two weeks. You see mothers with little kids or babies selling candy all over the trains and it's becoming too much. Many see it as a form of child abuse or exploitation and we do not respect it at all. I think they feel we are weak and will just pay double for something we don't need. At one station today I must have be approached 3 times and interrupted 2 times while using my phone. It's just too much and we already have a lot of immigrants here, so I'm not sure where these people believe they will find any meaningful employment and the cold is coming. I wasn't born here, but came legally as an infant. I think the border situation is a disaster and it's obvious to a lot of people that the government lets things happen that will definitely effect citizens in the next couple of decades. The city is crowded enough and I do not know where this is all going, people do not want undocumented migrants house a few hundred feet from a childrens school. I just don't understand how they let this happen....I guess this is how Biden does things and all the groups that cheered buses pulling in when it first started are dwindling down....they just want them passed on to someone elses responsibility, but wouldn't want them as neighborhors necessarily. It's a lot of hypocrisy here. Canada seems better in some places, and the same in others.

I question American food being of high quality as a lot is banned in other countries because it contains chemicals that aren't meant for human consumption. I couldn't imagine living in the US when something as simple as children going to school is so stressful because of the school shootings. Over 630 mass shootings just so far this year. It would be a hard no, absolutely not for me. I won't even go there to visit. I have family members who have lived there for decades and I'm afraid they are now just as uninformed as millions of Americans. Especially the ones who were 'educated' there.

Of course everyone gets to decide how to raise own kids and I wouldn't be thrilled to see a drag show together with my child either. Still, what's the ultimate goal of shielding the kids off of what's going in society? Don't they have gays, drag shows and drug addicts in Muslim countries? I’m a Muslim as well and I don’t live in a western society, I’m living in my country that is conservative and there is none of these woke agendas and liberalism being forced on us, but I do have relatives who live in the US and Canada and they are thinking about coming back for the same reasons you mentioned. They don’t want their children to be victims of these agendas that are being forced on them to accept in schools right now, they are noticing how society over there is failing, Islamophobia and hate crimes against Muslims is rising, and they don’t want to live in a country that sends billions of dollars to support an apartheid occupying state to commit genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians, they just don’t want their tax money to be sent to war criminals. May Allah make it easy for you and hopefully you’ll find a perfect place and a perfect Muslim environment so that you can raise your children. I do suggest you to go live in one of these Gulf states especially Saudi Arabia where healthcare is free, education is free, zero taxes, zero crime rates, and most importantly, you can practice your deen freely and you don’t have to worry about your children.

I don't know what's going on with the world, but the hate, the xenophobia and islamophobia are very real around here. Salaam all and hello. I'm born & bred here in England. My parents are indian, my mum from Malawi, southern Africa. Life here in London where I've been living all my life is going downhill fast. Crime & general insecurity, the cost of living, increasing woke degeneracy and lack of morals & ethics all contribute to a worsening environment & society. My younger brother & sister both moved to Dubai & were happy there. He raised his family there and is now in Saudi. Its important to know that the Muslim world although has varying levels of development is still not truly Islamic and that has been the cause of its backwardness and we as an ummaah is now at the worst situation it has ever been. However the call for the resumption of Islam as a system and way of life is rapidly increasing and will ineveitably make a return for the benefit not only for the ummaah but for the the wider world as a beacon of light (in an age of darkness).

Just remember wherever you guys pick make sure that they speak the same dialect that you do otherwise you're going to have that learning curve of learning their dialects. It is different in a lot of places like learning to speak like the yemeni do is different than the Pakistani. So just keep that in mind. My grandfather is from Yemen and his wife who is my grandmother and my dad's side is from sudan. And they used to tell me it took them a while to understand each other. My Syrian grandmother on my mom's side would teach me words and phrases and my grandpa who was from Yemen would always make fun of me because I wasn't saying stuff right. I'm not really good at speaking Arabic but I can get by so just remember when you guys are picking somewhere to pick a place that won't be that hard to understand people. I'm only saying that because with the kids you guys send the kids to school they may learn a different dialect than what you taught at home and it will be a learning curve for them to try to understand. But I'm sure you guys will make the right decision. I just figured I would throw that in there I'm sure you already know that the dialects are a lot different and Arabic is a lot different in different parts of the world. People think Arabic is all the same and it's really different. Just like people who speak Spanish in South America speak different dialects on the Puerto Ricans just like people in Brazil don't speak Spanish they speak portuguese. Just a thing to think about. Egypt seems to be a pretty good place I have family that live in Egypt and they really liked it but I'm sure you guys will pick a place that's wonderful for your family and I can't wait till you guys know when we can see everything that you guys are doing in your new home Korean and I totally understand I am so upset the United States took the stand that they did with the genocide in Gaza and in the occupied West bank. I’m not Muslim, I’m a 72 yr.old white guy ,secular,born in England, came to Canada as a six year old. I agree with all your reasons for wanting to leave. It makes perfect sense. Especially the reasons that relate to your faith, which although I’m secular , I agree with . These include educational indoctrination in the schools regarding LBGTQ etc. ,identity politics, and a lack of political leadership that unapologetically denounces genocide in Palestine. \nRegarding suggestions about where to go we’d need to know what languages you speak etc. Obviously Arabic or Persian would be number one . Without knowing that I wouldn’t know what to suggest. Clearly only other Muslims would be qualified to answer those questions.\nNevertheless,looking forward to see how you make out. \nAll the very best.\nSaying a secular prayer for peace in Palestine as I share videos far and wide from the internet regarding this decades long struggle for justice.

I'm sad that anyone has to do this! I pray that you will find a place that will be your home, where you won't have to worry about your children being targets, that the government won't ignore your pleas for peace and that is as warm as you need it to be. As a christian women who wears a head covering (not amish or mennonite) I have made it my 'business' to deliberately greet any one I see with a head covering. I know that can't make up for what you are going through but I wanted you to be aware that there are those that do want you to be able to practice your faith in a manner that you feel you must. Peace be with you and may God place his protection over your household.
