What a joke ,you can't open an account in any country on visit visa but You can buy Property of millions in Canada with out any Status, foreign investors dis balance the cost of living with the help of real estate mafia.

Born and raised in Canada 30+ years. Probably one of the worst health care systems I ever experienced. Crime, too expensive, horrible politics and leadership. \n\nLeft years ago to Asia and every time i got back to visit, I feel like I've gone back in a time machine 50 years. Never moving back. Best decision of my life.

How is this true? I always thought of Canada as the little (but more prosperous, friendly, safe and polite) brother of the US. A place that might be nice to visit or even retire. I am only here as I am flying to Toronto from Dublin soon. First Sweden, now Canada. What is going on?

What all Indians miss is the dirt cheap labour to which the Indian middle class has access in India. I watched the whole video to find what actual problem you faced but could not identify a single one. I myself live in Europe since last 35 years and every time I visit India I see how people are constantly obsessed with eating out and show off. It’s obvious that if you are brought up in India then you will not be able to shed the bad habits younger used to.

I drive from Chicago.. to visit my gf in Toronto regularly. Toronto has a huge homeless / drug problem. The police also seem indifferent to the sometimes violet issues on the streets. Last time I was there there were crack heads breaking into my GFs private parking garage. Tbh stuff like that doesn't bother me toooooo much as I am from a bigger city, so we have some problems too. But Toronto seems to embrace these problems and don't seem to be doing anything about it.

Also please do consider Oman. It’s a beautiful truly Islamic country. The Omani Arabs are most respectful and calm people. I loved living there. \nYou can drive and visit dubai in 4 hours. Believe me you don’t want to live there. It’s like Disney land. Visit have loads of fun then return home to wonderful Oman. If you work there as an expat you are provided lovely accommodation, tax free income and a tickets to your home country every year during your month off. \nIt’s super clean and many US, Canadian, European expats extend their contracts to stay longer because of the luxurious lifestyle.

Whatever you do I don't recommend Turkey, my family tried to move there from the US (as non Turks). It is enticing at the beginning since its a Muslim country with decent infrastructure, and we had nice experiences visiting there, but for moving a family there it's a whole different struggle. Turkey is a homogenous society, and it turns out you can't really just insert yourself into a new land you have no ancestral, lingual, or cultural connection to. We could not integrate and employment opportunities were minimal for non turks. I recommend you either move to your country of ancestry, because you have a legitimacy and connection there lingually and culturally, or you could temporarily move to an expat friendly country like Qatar or something (I don't say UAE because its a consumeristic immoral dump). If you are Arabic speakers you can also consider other Arabic speaking countries like Lebanon, Morocco, etc.

Your own canadian government is like communist state. toronto doctors are allowed to give people an injection to end their life. This way they are no longer a burden to society / government. I have cousin inlaws that live in markham a suburb and they have a house and when I visited them I had to squeeze my car in the driveway to park overnight. You're not allowed to park a car on the street or else you get a ticket? I know of no place that does this in suburb in america. I'm in nYC, been to PA, lived in jersey, nyc, have family in long island etc..

Dubai and Abu Dhabi is where I visited from India as a tourist a couple of years ago. I feel both these neighbouring cities would suit and match your desires and expectations for you and your family. I have only lived in four countries (more than 3 months). I have visited 38 countries in my lifetime, you do will not see what is not out there bad with those countries, I would not trade Canada for any of those, even inside Canada there are many places more desirable than other parts. GOOD LUCK with your ENTITLEMENT like decision.

While there might be wonderful places to see, and interesting people to meet and food to eat, I would never even visit there for more than a day or 2.\n\nSome times traveling by road, it is faster to drive through the states to get to other parts of Canada, and that level of visiting would be barely ok.\n\nYour government is actively making it unsafe to be alive there, for so many types of people. Unless you are part of the elite, making gallons of money, your government doesn't even want you to live. It's horrific.\n\nAmerica is bad y'all. Just so bad.

I was in Toronto for the first time in 1990 to visit my relatives impressed by this multicultural city.

What I like best about visiting Toronto is when I leave. A real Sh*t Hole.

I grew up in rural Ontario and experienced extreme racial violence since childhood. I moved to Toronto at 19 to attend university and have been here for 15 years. I still enjoy the outdoors, but have continued to experience racial attacks when I visit small towns across Ontario. So while the cost of living here is outrageous, sadly, Toronto is the ONLY place I have not been called an N-WORD!! ?

I left in 2006 for better opportunities. The city was declining back then but slowly. Come back for a visit every few years and astonished how awful getting around the city is and just how little the city has to offer. It mirrors the decay of Canada as a whole.

I left Canada in 1990 and in multiple times back visiting I saw the quality of life declining. But most there didn’t notice much like the frog in the pan of water you keep heating up. Now it’s apparent to everyone and yet Canadians are so deluded by their media they can’t figure it out and think everywhere is like there or worse. When I tell them they are living in a ?hole they don’t believe me. So it keeps getting worse.

I visited Vancouver 6-7 years ago. The natural environment surrounding the city is gorgeous but the city itself sucks.

Very interesting video, all was well explained. But the situation it's the same here in Europe, and maybe is even worse, in Italy you die of hunger! Salary is so LOW and never changed in more than 20 years, and rent of houses is crazy! It's insanely high and with your salary you can't pay the rent (even if you are a doctor, nurse etc..) you don't have money to buy an house and if you pay a rent you can't spend money on anything else. People here live thanks to their parents savings (who has this luck). The situation is very bad, young people can't find a job because there are no jobs available, it's really hard to live. Cities are dirty and degraded. In public health care you have to wait months and years for a visit, you are forced to go private and pay a lot of money. So I think the situation is serious everywhere. If you know a place where you are paid well and there are no such problems let me know.

I visited Quebec City and Montreal in 2009 for 2 weeks. It was absolutely lovely. I visited the same cities last September, my romantic notion dissipated. Especially Montreal, so many homeless looking young people on skateboards. I don’t think it’s trendy to wear baggy all black that reeked of BO. Price tag for everything is high, higher than my Los Angeles suburb to be honest. Most ppl are just making ok income, not high earning top tier professionals. How do ppl keep a roof and food on table? Plus transportation and insurance.

Canada Is a mess. I won't even visit Toronto anymore, and I only live about 50 minutes south.

I think given its current size and growth trajectory, Toronto is still on the affordable size and it will get much more expensive in the future. I visited Toronto and the GTA area, all you can see is new construction, businesses packed with people. May be Canada bit more than it could chew and the economy has not grown since COVID making inflation pinch even more. My only problem was due to the rapid expansion, the city seemed to lack a soul which comes through organic growth. All I could see was broad highways, residential areas packed with housed and large shopping complexes.

They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. I hate to say that I agree with your reasons for leaving Canada. May I suggest to you visiting China for 2 weeks and see if you like moving to that country. If not, you can go to Malaysia.

I have lived in ME, visited far east.. these countries have issues. Yes you hear the Azan 5 times, if you pray in North America facing hurdles, you get ajar, lets not forget this. Children who live here are taught how to live like a Muslim in North America and build on it. That is thrown away and you live in a country where you are judged by the color of your skin, your race etc

Assalamu alaikum. I'm a proud Muslim from Bangladesh who watched this vlog for the first time. Though I never lived or visited Canada I know all the points you mentioned here. All the difficulties in Western countries as a practicing Muslim. My wife wants to move to Canada & she always keeps pressuring me to take steps to move on to Canada but I am not that much interested for the same reasons you mentioned here. My sister lives in Saskatoon & she wants to help me with the relative points to move to Canada. I always try to make them understand my views. But they don't understand. They thinks Canada is the best!

Unfortunately I was born there and wasted 23 years of my life there...but I made up for it spending the last 24 in Japan. God works in mysterious ways. :D It's just fucked up that I own 13 homes in Japan and even if I sold ALL of them, I could probably barely afford a DUMP in Vancouver...or maybe just an old condo. But yet somehow propaganda says how expensive Japan is..and how great Canada is. Fuck that shit. The West's propaganda is just messed. Thank God I broke free from that. Salam...Torontonian here. Last few years i have been in the same boat but cant decide where to move. With 3 little girls and all the reasons you also mentioned i dont see a future living in this chaging environment. I did grow up in UAE so i have experience living in the gulf and have visited recently, its got expensive and cant stand the sutle discrimination that exists within the system. Next, moving to places like Malaysia, not sure about finding quality work with good income buts thats one of the top in the list, with turkey and souther USA (i know). \nGood luck on your journey and keep posting :)

My parents immigrated to Canada from Romania when I was nine and I have lived there for 20 years. I can’t remember ever really liking it, but I was made to believe that I was so lucky to be living there but always felt like it wasn’t the place for me. I just couldn’t find any other country where I actually felt good until a Moroccan friend convinced me to visit his country and I fell in love! I think from the moment I started planning my trip there I had already fallen in love with the country! For four years I kept going back until I finally had the courage to settle there! It’s been almost 7 years and I still love it as much as in the beginning (with all its pros and cons, because obviously there are also plenty of cons like in every other country, but the beauty and the people’s kindness and warmth far outweigh any of them:)

I visit Canada regularly since the late 90th. I saw a steady decline in the last years. Get rid of Trudeau and his bad politics. The sad thing is that this happens to many western countries. Currently I live in Germany. The loss of wealth and confidence due to damage done to the economy by the current government is mind blowing. People are angry. Visiting the Netherlands, Britain, France - everywhere I go in the west it’s the same. Lol. As an American I laugh every time I hear Americans say they want to move to America, especially during a national election. I was born in Canada and could legally move there today. I just wish I could sell that 'ticket' and make some money. I haven't visited Canada since I was 18 months old and never will.

Great move brother. I have been living in Canada for more than 20 years and I’m in the process of planning to wrap up everything and move. We are a big family alhamdullillah. Have been looking in to many countries but now been few days looking in to Malaysia. March break inshallah planning to go visit and see how it goes.
