It’s pretty much the same in India. I’ve visited New Delhi last year, I went for an early morning run and was shocked to find the streets littered with fresh poop. I had to be extra careful not to step on any! Initially, I thought it was due to a lack of toilets over there, but later I realised it’s more ingrained in their culture. When I confronted someone peeing on the street, he casually responded, ‘What’s your problem? It’s just nature’s call.’ I was left stunned!

I lived in Canada when I was 5 years old. I don't remember much from when I was 5 years old but I remember the feeling of home Canada gave me. I was happiest in Canada and my family felt safe and grateful to be there. I left Canada in only a year though cause we went there to study English, and I was very sad because Canada was the best place ever for me. I've been to several countries but Canada always had me in love. I was planning on going back for college and living there, but when I realized the state Canada is now, I was heartbroken because it looked nothing like the amazing place I had lived in years back. I'm still very sad about this and I pray the Canada I used to know will be back one day so that I can return to the place that was the closest thing I've ever felt like home.

More and more people are leaving this working camp and I understand why. Taxes, ridiculous healthcare where you need to spend 6-12 hours waiting to be seen by a “doctor” who will most likely recommend you Tylenol regardless of what problem you have; long wait times to see a specialist; poor education in schools with propaganda of unhealthy values; ask yourself why 60% of Canadians are on antidepressants - loneliness, unrealistic expectations to find a partner - long winters and life in debt are just few causes of it. \nWe left Canada in 2020 and happy we did it.

I don’t understand what is the connection with white people going junkies and immigrants successfully settling there. NO!\n\n4- Did the Canadian government provide the newly arrived immigrants with a solid, safe and clean social structure where they can live freely without any risk to themselves and their families, where they feel completely safe and without any fear, anxiety and concern in terms of attack and crime?....... NO!\n\n5- Did the Canadian government provide the newly arrived immigrants with a democratic state and a fair social society structure where there is no racism, discrimination, inequality of opportunity, favoritism, incompetence and harassment, whether covert or overt?........ Best of luck to you! I left Canada 17 years ago and never had the urge to return once. Like you I came as a kid and left in my early thirties. The world is big, lots to see. No country is perfect. Try to find one that suits you more.

Last week I called a cab to go for my appointments in town and a private car shows up in my drive way with an East Indian driver newly arruved from India? when I ask him what he need he said he is a Cab I called, I said no you are not this is a private car he said he just applied for license and Cab's Name, I told him then you cannot work and pick up costumer yet and this is Canada you need to follow our laws then he left after? but I take a picture his Car and license plate and call a Cop after.

in canada my rent has doubled in last 5 years. Food price has gone up 4x, gas price at all time highs, but min wage, or pay from jobs has not gone up at all. 5 years ago I was able to barely make a little bit of savings, but now, I spend all money on bills, and have nothing left over to save. I never eat out, go out, do any activities, I work and sleep and play video games, and no matter what I do, I just cannot save anything.\n\nI got really hard jobs like running gravel in a wheel barrel, and moving, and I get the same pay at these jobs as I did like 20 years ago.W ages ARE NOT going up at all but all bills are.

I have been in IT Security for more than 6 years now. I was working remotely for a US based company and earning in US dollars in TURKEY. Applied and got accepted to a German company because I didnt like remote work anymore. This was 3 months ago and I am still waiting for my visa appointment date. Left a lucrative job to go to Germany for a half of my past salary. That’s my stupidity. No answers from German embassy in Turkey. We are just told to wait. They are clearly telling us we don’t need you here. Waiting 3 months just for a visa appointment without any answers is crazy. I am already applying to other jobs. I guess they have enough Turks there hahah :D
