I'm reading.\n Some of the comments. I know my opinion may not matter. But it may eh inside some people. I hope I guess the way that I would look at this is being in their shoes. It's completely different than ours. We are given opportunities from birth. Basically to common deer, the life that we would like to have well, at least most of us are. In the United States, people from degrading. Or degraded countries are not giving those opportunities. So I would imagine over the years. Any type of hope that they had for a great country is depleted. Solidarity in countries like that is not accepted it would be suppressed. It would be stormed on and smashed out by the you. See an opportunity to better your life and your children's life. And it's the fourth quarter and there's 2 seconds on the time clock. And you've only got one play to make. We all go for what the big hell, Mary and I think that's what these people are doing and God bless every one of them. That are good people. I feel sorry for this situation. My wife's been in 14 years now. Nobody cares how this effects us every two years. Even had to use the Male/Man standards to PT testing during her entire transition until her medical plan was complete. When I read all of this, I'm damn glad that I'm German and that I've managed to build something for myself. Even if not everything is perfect here, the health care and social security are better than in many countries. Unfortunately, our problem is that too many people are now being allowed in here who pay nothing, absolutely nothing, into the social systems, but only benefit from it. Twenty years ago things looked better here.

We went to leave Canada too and both my husband and I were born and raised in Canada. We even moved from southern Ontario to Saskatchewan to Alberta. It is so unsustainable and sad to see that the government doesn’t care about their citizens. I never voted liberal but regardless of that, it shouldn’t be this hard and I don’t see it getting better - only worse.

Best advice is never ever believe touts, media or friends that it is greener in the West. Go on a short work contract not take a loan or sell up and leave. Hell no! It’s a fun place to visit, I love Florida California. I’m looking forward to going to the Carolinas, but I would never move there permanently. As a woman in Canada with children, what I do with my uterus is nobody’s business. I like my option of 18 month parental leave. I like my option not to do overtime and not have affect my job. I like my vacation and I like my sick leave. We have a safety net up here for mother‘s allowance child tax credit unemployment insurance. It is a safety net for hand up, not a handout .You guys like to pick your presidents and what your comedians will make for a living for the next 4 to 8 years. Up here we pick our Prime Minister‘s based on what they do up until they are seeking election and vote accordingly. We’re not allowed to carry weapons and use them for protection up here we look out for each other. I would prefer my children to live in a multicultural society where they are just used to other traditions and culture and Orientationchoices. That is not based on the colour of your skin. I like to have a conversation about a political opponent without it getting dangerous you’re allowed to have an opinion up here and that’s how we view it, but quite frankly after half an hour 15 minutes we we get bored of political views and just walk away from you.There’s no such a thing as you don’t want to live in that area and you have to be careful about where your kid goes to school. What does that do to the people that you’ve left behind? How does that make that better for them? I had a friend that worked down in the United States and every time I talk to her, she always uttered. I have to be aware of my white privilege. You're better off staying in the U.S. I lived in Canada for years. Now in the States. The Canadian dollar is not nearly as strong as the American dollar. You can also forget about ever being a homeowner in Canada especially the major cities like Toronto you're looking at 1 million dollars for starter. Let's not forget the other hair raising cost of living. Healthcare is free in Canada but if you have a life threatening illness forget it. You can die waiting to get care!

Canadian here.. Canada has its pros and cons.. Come hell or high water I LOVE CANADA... I am home sick for Canada and will be moving back to Canada in 2025... The sooner so much the better.... It will be nice to live under the Crown and not in a republic.. I just do not care for the American mentality at all.. Also I do not like health care in the States..

Oh, no… our emergency room wait times average is probably around 3 hours (give or take). While 15 to 20 minutes sounds absolutely awesome, it’s not happening here, unfortunately. And that’s because we don’t have enough medical doctors in emergency care. The majority of them are in private practice, (because it pays better) and even then, there aren’t enough doctors for our growing population. I will admit, though, if you don’t want to go to a hospital emergency room to be seen you can always access walk-in clinics which are all over the place. You don’t have to pay. You just show your OHIP card (Ontario Health Insurance Plan) and the wait is probably less than an hour to be seen. Our Walmarts have walk-in clinics, for example. Easy access, less wait times. Of course, these clinics are not for major emergencies such as heart attacks, bleeding, broken bones, etc., but they definitely come in handy if you don’t have a family physician.

Yes I was, after Trump got elected no. Disabled human rights are horrible here and as compensation for lawsuits can be capped in cases that is unlikely to change. I should state the government had to pay me $25,000 dollars for violating my rights (this cost me $35,000+ in legal fees!) so I know of what I speak. It was the same when I moved provinces. In terms of mobility my fate was better in the 4 third world countries I visited after my stroke, there are no busses in loads of places here as we can’t “afford” them. Also I should state the government tried to make me site an NDA that would not allow me to state their behaviour, this should be illegal where government money is concerned! On to health care…. Why do disabled people struggle to get a family doctor when they move provinces? Also why did the mother of a Ukrainian disabled kid have to go back to a country that had been invaded to get help for her child that was having convulsions? She got no help here and her child was in our system by then and her husband has been paying taxes since I got him a job here 3 day a after landing. Yes there are a lot of good Canadians but this situation has become much worse and Canadians are masters at ignoring things. There is a Ukrainian flag flying from my cabin not a Canadian one. I came to Saskatchewan Canada as an international student in fall 2023. I did a care assistant program and was attracted to coming to Canada because I kept hearing that there is a labour shortage in healthcare in Canada. However I feel like everything just started going to sh*t in 2024 when I was finishing up my program ?.\n\n One of the things I'd like to highlight about the small towns is that they can be very biased in their hiring practices. Some of us as (black) students had a hard time getting jobs in healthcare in the town because jobs were given based on family and friend linkages (so mostly white or Filipino people got hired). Also there was a severe housing shortage. So even though locals (from my perception) wanted us to stay and work in healthcare (because they are short staffed), realistically there was no where to stay. Canada can't say it wants people in more rural areas and not improve housing in those areas as well. I have honestly been rather disappointed with Canada because I expected better planning from a developed country.

It's not true to say education is free in Canada. Unlike the UK, in Canada every year we have to pay a contribution to school fees. Noon supervision fee, exam fees, fees for sports clubs, materials fee. It mounts up if you have a few kids. This came as a surprise to me when moving to Canada. In UK employees get much more paid vacation time from employers. I'd say life can be better in the UK in terms of work life balance but I think Healthcare is better in Canada although it can be expensive if you have no insurance for things such as dental care.

A lot of medical professionals move south, private practice pays better. But if we need care from a miscarriage, we can get it without dying waiting for Dr’s to be Dr’s. Women have control over their bodies here, so I don’t think Pollieve is going to get elected based on who he sides with.

Are you kidding me. Are you not in Canada right now. Canada is now the most poor country in the World. Immigration has gone to the roof. No housing. Rents and forget about buying a house in BC, AB, Quebec, Ontario. High unemployment, Inflation is high and going up more. We also do not have a military defense system and the U.S. is tired of Canada not spending money to meet their responsibility as a Nato country. Many Canadians are leaving the country permanent. Investors and businesses are pulling out. Canada is trillions in debt but keep printing more money (toilet paper). Canada has gone downhill significantly over the past ten years. Born Canadians and legit immigrants having to go through a rigorous immigration process are very unhappy and cause conflict. Besides all the different ethnicities cause unrest and are ungrateful, daring the burn the Canadian flag, uttering death to Canada, death the US and Israel. These trouble makers have not intentions to assimilate into Canada's culture and are disrespectful to the Canadian government and it's citizens. Our youth are very unhappy and do not see a future for themselves yet have to work very hard and pay unbelievable high taxes. The minimum wages are only 15 bucks an hour which cannot sustain life here in this country. Please stop making false promises to foreigners to come here and be disappointed. This is not a country of milk and honey any longer but poor and enormous homelessness. Hunger, terrible health care, incredible post secondary tuitions and books. Now that president Trump has won the election he is going to place tariffs on Canadian goods and rightfully so. Russia is very interested in the Antarctica and should they or anyone invade Canada we got 3 days of ammunition. The food in AB is very bad for your health. Everything has pesticides, hormones, and by the time fruit and vegies arrive here from the US all the nutrition have gone. A extremely high cancer rate, young and old, diabetes, depression and other mental disorders are rampant. Our children and grandchildren do not have a future so why bother going to school or work. Our kids live on the streets, shelters, camping in the woods and using fentanyl and meth all kinds of dangerous drugs. The cities and small towns are full of used needles, pipes, and more paraphelia just thrown on the trails everywhere. The US will not assist Canada when a possible War 3 will occur, and we the people of Canada and the land are easy prey. If you do not believe me, just come visit RED Deer shelters and walk around on the trails, go to Vancouver but becareful because random assaults are happening every day, people living in tents, using the streets as toilets, drugs galore, even the police is unable to act nor arrest criminal activities caused by desperate people who need to survive. Canada's economy is about to collapse and fall into a recession. We have too many people coming in our country without checking their back ground and many criminals and terrorist groups are entering declaring refugee status whether it is true or not, we do not know. The people of Canada who work and pay highest taxes are used to house these newcomers and education, jobs, food and money. Our government take better care of these illegal people than their own people especially our youth. So please let us not pretend Canada is a land of opportunity and great. I appreciate your take. I believe Canada's key issue is that it is facing a cultural decay, which is not exclusive to Canada. Many countries in the west are challenged by similar things such as aging populations and unaffordability. \n\nIt works in a cycle: governments and corporations take turns screwing over the general population and most people cannot afford anything. Corporation does A then government does B; government does X then corporation does Y. On the surface, government is _trying_ to do a good thing, but it backfires quite often, leaving the average person feeling scorned. \n\nChief among these corrective measures was mass immigration, and because there was already a climate of indignation, the introduction of too-many-immigrants was a huge slap in the face. Instead of making sure Canadians were better taken care of, the government responded to the corporations--not the people. \n\nGDP numbers mean nothing to the average Canadian person if their quality of life is in decline. The only people still in favour of mass immigration are those who do not have to confront it on a day-to-day basis. Even Canadian-born (or even Canadian Citizens of 5+ years) minorities, think the immigration problem is too much.

Browsing through the net for job opportunities, confined to a small room at high costs, finally if and when they are been called for one or two interviews at most despite forwarding more than 100 resumes, at the interviews they will be offered lower than the minimum wage for parttime workers. What a scam, first they say that English fluency is essential has introduced different Examination to assess the English fluency standard.. it is a big scam...while Canada has favoured immigrants from certain parts of the globe. All these gimmicks are being utilised to discourage the applicants and to force the genuine Credential Holders who could definitely contribute to boost the Economy in a fruitful manner to leave the country and to force them to get back into their home countrues. In that case why did the Federal Governments of Canada created a delusion to migrants from around the globe stating that there is an acute labour shortage in certain high demanding job categories, encouraging all such applicants to apply through the Skilled labour Program introduced by the Federal Government of Canada,. as if there are shiploads of opportunities available just for geabs.\nSuch individuals are driven to state of utter despair or forced to get back to their home countries whereas here the federal Government of Canada is granting Asylum to all sorts of unskilled , uneducated and sometimes no literacy nor basic communication skills in English at all at the expense of the taxes and high tuition fees acquired from the student population as well as PR Holders who has incurred massive expenditure through the federal Government's detailed and tough assessment procedures just to gain entry under the stipulated visa categories. Whilst all such individuals who has made a genuine effort by using their own reserves and during their stay pay high consumer taxes and high rent are being denied to gain employment but certain uneducated hooligans and certain communities are allowed to enter Canada Scot free as Asylum Seekers through the IRCC refugee and immigration act and Asylum Seeker Act.\nHow unfair and unrealistic...\nWhen you present such videos be aware of your content as not only the Canadians are contributing to the Federal Governments tax schemes. Someone should let them know that so called better life is not waiting for them in Canada at least. We have plenty of our own political tensions, we're taxed to death, probably have the worst health care system in the world, extremely high cost of living, everything is expensive, the only jobs available are part time, crappy overpriced food, a housing crisis and brutal winters every single year.. Nothing but pissed off, miserable people here. Many Canadians I know have moved to India and love it. Come if you like but I bet you'll wish you hadn't, especially when Trudeau won't let you go back, not with your money anyway.

Many problems to fix inside the country including catching drug dealers and taking care of addiction, but blaming and asking other countries to fixed for us is just weak, pathetic and unacceptable. \nSend the army to stop drugs at the border is not the illegals is bringing drugs into the country.\nWhat happens when they are in? Who is selling?\nStop giving special visas to migrants, lift sanctions to those countries so their citizens stay in their own country and not coming here with hopes of a better life.

All of a sudden we have to be careful of what Mexico’s president has to say? We are the strongest economy and we’ve been put to the test. We can do with or without. Tariffs mean better competition and manufacturing jobs to increase here in the US; more jobs = more money being earned and spent within our economy.
