I am an American, I support Canada and Ukraine, not Vladimir Putin and Russia. Thank you, Prime Minister Trudeau! I'm sorry to say we have a wannabe dictator as president, I will never understand how he was ever voted in as president, he is not my president.

Not once did he talk about why this is happening? He says he's our friend but saying it is one thing. Actions speak louder Trudeau. Mr. Trump asked you to meet him to get balanced fair trade. You say you are our friend. But, yet you don't want fair and balanced trade. Hmmm, common sense goes a long. Tariff is a smart way to let you know that your certainly not acting like the friend and ally you say you are. This could all go away, but the truth is your demonrat supporter who lies, misleads the truth, and blames others. We the people don't tolerate that any longer and don't appreciate it. Shame on you!

The speech of Mr Trudeau, the way Canadians have shown solidarity for one another, today it all puts my country, The US, to shame. I am ashamed of what my government is doing and I am disgusted with the people doing it. In Mr Trump’s first term, as eclipsed as they were by the many many many actions and attitudes he imposed on us that embarrassed and hurt us as a country, there was the rare occasional decision I could at least understand even if I did not support it. Since taking office literally not one thing he has done has made sense to me as an American. I can only say how sorry I am for what the country I love is being used to do to you all, especially our closest allies and friends and in particular the people of Canada today. I grew up in Commerce Twp Michigan. I visited Canada regularly and, even as crime from Detroit poured across the border into Canada, Canadians always treated us with respect and welcome. I never imagined that would stop but now I find it hard to imagine how it might continue and it breaks my heart.

As an American all I can say is I don't support this and I stand with the Canadian people on this...more Americans opposed than supported this stupid move, Trump is a Traitor in my eyes and a stupid one at that.

What Trump seems to try to get at most is the unfair act of the USMCA. Most trades benefited Canada, while Canada refused to provide the same fair trades. Sometimes Trump does say things that may have gone off track like fentyl handling on Canada's end and border handling. It seems like our borders at the time were less strict on the American side versus the Canadian side of the border. Trump did state multiple times that most countries like Canada were unfair to USA. Even with the USMCA, America got screwed by Mexico as will. America has been there helping and supporting and submitting to every country. Yet failed to support our own people when we need it, especially to clear up our own debts. Sadly, America is falling behind due to poor handling of Government Democrat corruption. I am neutral as both parties don't always provide the best solution for everyone. You have to pick who can help the American people. Seeing how corrupt the Democrats has ran America and the defacto behind of all the wars and money laundering has surprised me, and I hope the change with Trump will help everyone realize how screwed we all are in correcting those corruption that isn't really needed.

Please, Mr. Trudeau, please say that Donald Trump is the culprit, not America in its entirety. We are protesting the takeover of our country and will not cease trying to get rid of this administration that has hijacked our country. We too want to work with you and will support your actions as best we can. Your strong speech shows which country has a leader to follow. Thank you.

I gotta say that I'm not a liberal nor have I been a particular fan of Justin Trudeau... but today (and for the last few weeks) I've been quite impressed by my Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau. This Canadian supports a vast and vicious trade war against the United States. I do not have any hatred for the American people but I do have nothing but contempt for Trump and his band of traitorous scum! I wouldn't have dreamed that our closest friend and ally could be siding with an enemy proclaimed (Russia) against democratic nations. Trump represents an existential threat to democracy everywhere and must be put down by the American people like a rabid dog!

I would imagine, that if their Conservative Party Leader Poilievre wins the upcoming election, he will be able to straighten out many of the troubles that have been caused by the World Economic Forum Puppets and their agenda. I doubt that the Canadian People are in favor of the agenda of having nothing and being happy. What foolishness the elites expect people to believe. As a Canadian, I want to say that we love our American friends and neighbours. We are proud to call you our closest ally, and our shared history and relationship is cherished by all Canadians. Until now. The fact that we are being treated worse than authoritarian threats like Russia or China is beyond insulting. We don’t deserve this. I loved the speech of PM Trudeau- but one thing he kept saying is wrong. Our government did not do this - One man did this via executive orders. He does not care who he hurts. He does not care about the American people. Trump only cares about himself and his relationship with Mother Russia and Putin. TRUMP doesn't want peace. He is thriving on the chaos that he and Musk are initiating. Agree with Trudeau here, and as a Canadian conservative, that’s not something I say easily. But let’s get real here. Trump is NOT a smart guy. He has cratered most businesses he’s started, he has no understanding of economics whatsoever and he speaks like a five-year old.
