the thing with canada is that, they have also tried to differentiate themself as somehow more noble and wiser, and more progressive than their southern neighbor United states. ? canada is even more weird in that they are quiet about it and will ice you out. The USA is good if you’re willing to overwork to make money… you will basically work work work and that’s not a good life. I recommend USA if you are young and want to flex in the future. I work every day in America and I’m not missing anything but I feel like a slave honestly. Canada is good for foreigners that are trying to get PR and a Citizenship from a western country quick because Canada needs a lot of immigrants due to its size. Canada is not good to live because it’s just so damn cold and housing costs too much. Europe is good if you’re trying to be lazy because the government likes to give money and health insurance is free but it’s hard getting PR and Citizenship. In Europe the income is very low on average compared to the US but the reason is cause there’s just so much overtime available in the USA and things are more 24/7. Europe is better to start a family and safety security…. But you will be giving up working super hard in the USA to make good amount of money…. Pick your poison. I recommend going to Canada to acquiere a Citizenship quick then go to USA and work like a slave with a lot of overtime for 10-15 years and before your 40-55 years old you move to Europe…

Private healhcare in America is very high quality sure, but since they are private businesses, Canadians have access to them too if we really want. That said out private healthcare is pretty damn good too, maybe not as top notch as America.

Here in Nova Scotia our homeless rate has doubled since 2015…rent and home ownership In Halifax is almost impossible now. Tent cities are growing in Halifax like i’ve never witnessed before. In just 2 years our residents without a doctor went from 85k to 150k. And our government here in NS wants to double our population by 2060. ? And it’s damn near impossible to get a decent job ffs …wages are shit. Everyone’s getting poorer and our quality of life is getting worse.

The big 3 reasons against have been very well articulated in the video. Social safety net is lacking, health care system is\nmentally stunted, Gun culture and Religiosity are far too entrenched in the American psyche. I would add overcrowding,\na more hyper rat race, and...it's too damn hot in many places. Positive reasons to consider the move are American dominance of pop culture, ask most of the best Canadian Actors...and if you are wealthy and want to remain in Canada, it must be nice to be a snow bird for 4 months each year. Truly wealthy people can find ways to avoid taxes in both countries. I will say that the U.S. does seem to have a far better choice of regional and international food culture, in spite of the corporate fast food dominance.

If this video wasn't about Canada you could very well believe that this video was about Australia. We are pretty much the same. There are too many selfish idiots in this country who want to get rich quick through property investing. As a result of this everyone is mortgaged up to their eyeballs in debt. People think that owning investment properties means you're some sort of god. If we didn't have any resources our entire economy would be focussed on building homes. The thing is, the houses that builders build in this country are terrible. They don't insulate well, the materials used are crap, the workmanship is poor. People on average now take out mortgages 6-7x their income. To keep property booming we open the floodgates for immigrants. The societal landscape of our country is changing for the worse. Looking around Melbourne and Sydney, most people are either Chinese or Indian now. These people run away from their countries (which they think are crap compared to the West) and then they buy houses here resulting in people born in Australia losing out.\n\nThe entire thing is a god damn ponzi scheme.

I have a background in Nursing and a Bachelor of Conservation Biology, Ecology and Biotechnology. I wanted to go to Canada to work for a couple of years but the visa process is too damn hard, I should have just walked into the country without a visa, why didn't I think of that before ?, I was doing it all wrong (I am being sarcastic).
