What the hell is wrong with these people? They are giving a bad name to all the law abiding Indians both in USA and Canada. Indians are usually the most law abiding people in any country they live in. The last few years have also shed a bright light on India's reputation with scam-calling centers etc., too. As it happens more and more in Canada now, with Indians being arrested for it. I had the feeling that I was no longer in Canada, but somehow ended up in India?) Having lived in Montreal for 30 years, I recently moved to Guelph Ontario, to be closer to family and I was shocked to see how many Indians had moved there, (going to the dog park, I was informed by the people there, that Brampton was called Bramladesh and Guelph was turning into another Bramladesh.) There was a massive temple built in Guelph a few years ago and suddenly Guelph was invaded by Indian immigrants, with every house put up for sale bought by an Indian family, (the husband, his wife and their kids, the brother and his wife, their mother and father, all living in a 3 bedroom house with 3 cars in a 1 car driveway, (for some strange reason they all choose to dig up the black asphalt driveway and replace it with white concrete??) So yeah, the white people in Guelph are fleeing en mass, as it becomes impossible to sit in the back yard, or open a window, without choking on the powerful stench of spices coming from the Indians living next door... it's like being punched in the face from the horrific smell when you walk your dog and pass by one of their homes! That said, it feels like their goal is 'global domination' and with 2 billion people living in India today, it's just a matter of time before they all decide to leave the most over populated, the most polluted and the most corrupt country on the planet, and move to Canada!

Another Indian trick is Flagpoling which is coming to Canada on a Visitor Visa, going to the US Border, getting turned away since their visitor visa does not allow entry to the USA, and then coming back to Canada, and applying for a Work Permit at the CDN Port of Entry, hard to believe but that is completely legal, and has led to Indians taking a lot of jobs from CDN citizens

For a Canadian company to hire foreign workers, they used to have to prove there were no Canadian workers to do that job, so foreign workers were mostly used in seasonal agriculture work, but due to very shady government deals with big corporations Trudeau approved paying wage subsidy and turning a blind eye to Canadian workers so Singh Hortons (and many other big businesses) could have workers for a cut rate and the government tax dollars paid up to 70% of wages and welfare. Also Foreign workers think they can stay here once their visa's expire, refusing to leave. There is simply no need for Canada to bring in over a million Indians that are in hard times in their own country. Our welfare or culture can't stand it. Not sure if you missed it or not, but India's foreign minister at the start of summer, thanked Trudeau for taking all their criminals, and low caste people. Sorry to say that but Indians are very corrupt, they are trying to cheat any system or any rule. They are the ones behind all kinds of illegal implementations on: Immigration(selling jobs which is illegal), banking system(forging income documents to get high Mortgages from banks), cheating on documents(like fake school letter of acceptances or fake banking statements) and exams(offering to enter exams on behalf of others with a charge). These are not general considerations, I personally am in the know of all these examples myself and I am hearing many others. \nAdditionally they are disrupting the labor market by lowering life standards. To be specific, there are many indians, living 10-20 people in the same home, lowering their life costs, then going to businesses offering for a much lower salaries, hourly wages since their living costs are considerably low. This is not a fair competition, you can not expect people to live in barracks, just to be able to compete. this is disrupting social life.\nThe pooping and these kinds of senitary examples are just the icing on the cake. \n\nFinally, the indian community are not trying to come in to Canada and be a part of the community and the system, instead they are trying to turn this country into India, which they are running from in the first place. \n\nCanadians are nice yes, but any sound person should react accordingly if their kindness is abused. \nOfficial are needed to take actions on this, since I don't expect the Indian comm unity to behave.

As an Indian immigrant myself, I have tremendous sympathy for Canadians. \n\nThe so called diploma mills were always a danger but online classes during covid meant they could quadruple their attendance (and thus, their bottom line). The degrees offered by these colleges are worthless and that's why anyone who's moved to Canada in the last 4-5 years is finding it difficult to get meaningful employment.\n\nOn the other side, the Canadian dream really is sold as a cheaper and safer alternative to the American Dream. This is especially rampant in the state of Punjab where people from villages sell their ancestral property to move to Canada as students only to find the stalemate that is the job sector.\n\nThis in turn puts pressure on the economy, the housing market, and the welfare programmes. I think the immigration needs to halt for a while. A LOT of students are lacking in technical and linguistic skills to propel the Canadian economy and society forward and they'll need to not be given Permanent Residencies. PR should go to highly skilled immigrants who are integrating into the Canadian society instead of turning Brampton into mini India.

Why are people leaving? BEcause in the last 7 years we made a huge mistake of letting in too many people and spent less time developing ourselves and infrastructure. Immigrants are amazing and we need them, but our country didn't play the long game and let in too many too fast. Right now esp[ecially for Bangladeshiis and Indians, is that ,many are coming illegally and getting a REFUGEE status, paying their own to do this who work in lawyerships [and you shoudl see the scamming being done by Indian and Bangladeshi Canadians who are just taking their former countrymen for everything they are worth!]: Canada is like a person taking on too much all at once and then resenting its choices once it becomes responsible for them. The problem is with how immigration is set up. The general population is ok with immigration as long as most people coming in adapt at least somewhat to Canadian culture while integrating their own.\n\nI'd say thats what Trudeau had/has in mind cause thats what Montreal is like. \nBut its like that cause the Quebec government focuses on secularism & French Nationality which creates a sort of blended dynamic that's still uniquely Quebecois.\n\nThat doesnt work so well in other Provinces.\n\nAlternately, the goverment may be trying to turn Canada into a true melting pot, which would create a different Canadian culture and identity than we currently have. \n\nHowever, that only works out when you bring in an equal # of people from different Countries wnd ethnicities.\n\nWhat we have right now is a system that seems to bring a certain percentage of immigrants per Country. Using that math, India and China will always send out more people as they're the most populous and crowded. Hence why Eastern Canada has a lot of Indian immigrants and Western has a lot of Chinese.\n\nThe government will need to get a handle on it and at least even it out if not also slow the flow, lest we risk a rise in xenophobia/isolationism and racism which has already started to make the rounds.

I live in Montreal. The city is beautiful and has a great vibe. But the roads are really bad, housing is shitty, healthcare is the worst in Canada (imagine that!). I had a gynaecological issue where I was bleeding for over a month. You cannot go to a specialist by yourself without a referral. When I got the referral I could not get an appointment for the next 4 months. I had to immediately run to India to get treated. My friends have all had similar experiences. I’ve been living here for 6 yrs now and still don’t have a family doctor. I’m on the waitlist for the past 4 yrs. And family doc doesn’t mean your entire family gets one doc nah uh. My husband will get a different one and I’ll get a different one. Homelessness is rampant. Every month 100s of working people are going homeless. They are rushing to hospitals to take shelter from heat and rain. 60% of Canada is atheist and churches have been turned into bars, cabarets, libraries, homeless shelters etc. Most international students rely on food banks because you can’t afford groceries here. But Indians living in Canada only flaunt their branded clothes and accessories to fake their luxury life and hide that they do hard labor to make ends meet

People miss these because theyre so fast to jump that youre a racist if you say anything about it. \n\nTheyre not assimilating, like how we did. Theyre nice people but theyre not respecting the cultures around them. Everywhere I turn, it’s them speaking loudly over phonecalls. Some of them dont even speak a lick of english. You cant blame people for thinking that theyre trying to create a second India within Canada. \n\nTheres NO BALANCE. Im not saying hating them is justified because it’s not. It’s the fact most of them have this mentality, which overwhelms everyone around them. It’s so bad, the other Indians that are doing theyre best to assimilate also gets attacked.

Immigrant here, brown as well, and a worker in the international educational industry. Pin points why Canada and even immigrants, including international students and temporary works dislike immigrants from Punjab:\n\n- They are rude. They have little to none concept of living in society. They are selfish, they are arrogant, and anyone who works in the serving/retail industry will they are the worst customers ever. \n\n- The level of entitlement is beyond absurd. When the leader of this protests in PEI was told “Canada needs doctors and nurses, not you (the guy graduated from a business program, and works at Tim Hortons still), he responded: “I don’t care what Canada needs, is what I need, for myself”, displaying what a great citizen he’d be.\n\n- They refuse to integrate. They left Punjab to pursue a better life, but they want to live like are still in Punjab. \n\n- They scam their way in. Banks in India will lend them money to come to Canada, they buy their IELTS results. 99.9% of all the students I dealt with who got caught cheating on their exams were from India.\n\n- The people we are receiving in Canada are members of a separatist movement. They have often blocked roads to protest against India, because they want Punjab to be separated from India, and turned into a new country called Khalistan. I highly doubt they would all move there if that actually happened.\n\n- Going back to the entitlement: They often abuse the human rights nature of Canada. They sued the government for the right to ride bikes without helmets, or to not be forced to used safety equipment in construction sites, and for the right to walk around carrying a dagger, because it’s a “religious item”. Canada also for some dumb reason accepts their arranged marriages as a real one. Any person from anywhere in the world has to undergo an invasive scrutiny of their relationship, being forced to provide private conversations, and witness. Punjab people need none of it, and Punjab fathers are selling their daughters to strange men, so the family can move to Canada together.\n\n- Statistics Canada often talk about how our population is aging: However, they do not disclose how many of these aging population is due to Indian nationals bringing their parents and grandparents with them. If we got a million Indian people in the past years, that would mean around extra 4 million people over 50 years old. That’s 10% of the entire population. \n\n- They are scammers. You said yourself: To be eligible for a mortgage , you need to make at least $250k per year. They are landing in Canada with no money, and buying houses right away, because they have a network of people forging financial documents, and the also have people infiltrated in banks to approve these processes. Not me saying, that was national news. \n\n- They are extremely racist. They will openly tell you they only rent/hire/do business with Punjab people. Now, even the buses are driven by Punjab people, is insane. And you can tell they are new comers, because some of them can barely speak English. But is a well-known fact: Once one of them is in, they will make sure to bring in as many of their countrymen as possible, and only them. The DEI department of my company approved a Punjab manager, and now more than half of the staff is Punjab. English is no longer spoken in the hallways. \n\nSo these are just few of the complaints I have about them. I moved to Canada for a better life, and I have fully adapted to this country, and I’m resentful that this government allowed these people to slowly turn Canada into India. I was sold the idea of diversity, and I fell for it. I’m the minority of the minorities. Despite being a full Canadian now, every single day I think more and more of just going home. I’m tired of Canada.

Our government structure, our laws, our language, the way we dress, our comedy, our sports, which side of the road we drive on, what holidays we celebrate, our buildings and social structure is Canadian. Immigrants need to learn to simulate not dictate to us what we should except. \nDelta BC was turned to little India where all the homes are owned by East Indians, the businesses and right down to the street signs. I honestly think some Canadians people have memory problems. 30 years ago Brampton was known as the town with the most Indians. Nobody complained. The cost of living and housing went up in the last 10 years and now all of a sudden people complain about something that has always been. The only difference is theres more Indian students. Its a student issue, not an Indian issue. Then you got white drugged up people blaming immigrants for their choices. Nobody forced you to do drugs. If you are poor and homeless this does not mean you turn to drugs. The land is vast, there are plenty of chances. Blaming immigrants for your failure is a classic gaslighting tactic that is just pure bs. The reason why crime and drug addiction is up, is because lack of government punishment for open drug use, lack of protecting the mailing system, lack of cracking down and normalization of drug use. You go to Dubai, An Arab city that has majority Desi people. Where is the crime where is the drugs? None. Everyone is happy. This is not an Indian issue this is a Canada issue.
