This isn't just a white or black thing it's an out of control immigration system where people use loopholes in the system to gain residency. This anti-immigration isn't isolated in fact most immigrants who's lived in Canada all their lives have expressed deep concern that the government is letting in too many from one nation and the lopsided admittance is part of the concern. The metrics of the majority of new immigrants come from the Middle East and India how can anyone not notice the concern that many have been expressing for a decade. Canadians aren't against immigrants it's that we didn't expect to just let anyone in without actually knowing how to speak English or have etiquette and follow laws. Many have concerns that many of the new comers can't even speak English yet they have license to drive and how do we get around most bend the rules or the law. Myself I've notice a skyrocketing scam scheme and how can you not equate that to the rise in our broken immigration policy. The last time I heard you had to have certain criteria to be considered to immigrate and why is that some countries like from the South Pacific you need to know English have money in the bank and a skill or degree on a list of acceptable qualifications. So many who can't even read or write English have jobs, drive a car, then to make matters worse have housing yet we have a crisis? Most Canadians see the pattern and most are educated enough to know there is something to be said, loopholes and when they find it they abuse the system.

If you’re navigating the permanent residency (PR) process for Canada, Australia, or Germany, preparing for winter and understanding residency requirements are key aspects of your transition. Canadian winters are particularly harsh, with temperatures frequently dropping below 0°C, while Australia and Germany offer a range of climates. Picking the right winter jacket can make a big difference, especially when moving to regions with unpredictable weather. This guide covers essential insights on winter preparation and the PR process for Canada, Australia, and Germany.
\nPreparing for Winter
\nWhen considering permanent residency in Canada, Australia, or Germany, understanding climate differences is crucial. Whether you're working with Canada PR consultants, Australian PR consultants, or Germany PR consultants, preparation for varied climates will help ensure a smoother transition. Here’s what to keep in mind:
\n1.\tExpected Temperatures: In Canada, cities like Vancouver are milder with wet winters, while Toronto faces colder, often icy conditions. Regions in central and northern Canada have extreme lows, such as -19°C in Regina during January. Germany has varied winter climates, while Australia’s milder winters can still feel chilly in certain regions.
\n2.\tChoosing the Right Jacket: For newcomers, warm, waterproof, and windproof jackets are essential for Canadian winters. Parkas, puffer jackets, and wool coats are ideal for different climates across Canada, Germany, and Australia. Parkas offer heavy insulation and water resistance, while puffer jackets are versatile and suited for layering. Wool coats add style but lack water resistance, making them suitable for drier German winters.
\n3.\tTypes of Insulation: When relocating, especially through global talent streams in Canada, Australia, or Germany, picking jackets with appropriate insulation—down for warmth or synthetic for water resistance—is recommended for your first winter abroad.
\n4.\tBudget Considerations: Budget options start at around $50, while high-end brands such as Canada Goose or Arc'teryx offer premium options for harsh winters. Mid-range choices from brands like The North Face provide a balance between quality and cost.
\nNavigating the PR Process and Requirements
\nEach country has unique pathways and requirements for permanent residency. Consulting with professionals who specialize in Canada immigration, Australia immigration, or Germany immigration can streamline the process, especially if you're applying from India or seeking a provincial nomination (like BCPNP or MPNP for Canada).
\n•\tCanada PR Process: Canada offers various pathways for PR, including express entry, provincial nominee programs (e.g., BCPNP, MPNP, NBPMP), and spousal sponsorship. These programs have specific criteria, such as work experience, language proficiency, and educational qualifications. Consultants can guide you through each step, from document preparation to application submission.
\n•\tAustralia PR Process: Australia's PR pathways, like the Skilled Migration Program, allow skilled professionals to work and live in Australia. The Global Talent Stream in Australia also targets specialized talent in fields such as tech and medicine, easing the immigration process for qualified individuals.
\n•\tGermany PR Process : Germany offers options like the EU Blue Card and employment-based visas, making it possible for skilled workers to obtain residency. Consultants can assist with the application process and explain requirements like work contracts and proof of language proficiency.
\nStudying and Working Abroad
\nCountries like Canada, Australia, and Germany provide work and study opportunities for immigrants, making it easier to gain local experience. Programs for study and work facilitate cultural adjustment and open pathways to PR. Immigration consultants can help identify the best routes to achieve your career and residency goals, whether in education, employment, or both.
\nImmigrating to a new country means facing unique challenges, from adapting to climate to understanding immigration requirements. Proper winter attire ensures you stay comfortable as you settle in, and expert immigration advice helps navigate complex residency processes. With the right preparation, you can embrace your new life abroad with confidence.

Only people of color/ sikh people who do not follow law and order in Canada are the terrorists which ran away from India to gain protection under trudeau. The people you are refering as Indian are actually the terrorists. Indian government has repeatedly asked Canadian goverment to handover these people so we could imprison them for terrorism they did in India. But Canada did not even once comment on it, beacuse Canada is sheltering terrorists. Weird how Candian people dont even know about their own PM's doing in their own country. Indian have contributed in health and social services of Canda and actually improved their economic growth. You have poor government with poor restrictions. We are not the culprits. If you have proper laws they will follow.

Anyways.... Madam Canada's ancestors were definitely NOT the natives of that land. At least until a couple of centuries ago it belonged to native Canadians whom the White ancestors of Madam Canada extremely brutally almost exterminated and grabbed that land, the means which are far different from the means how Indians are migrating and gaining citizenship.\n Indians are definitely generating wealth, paying taxes and help the society by indulging in wide range of jobs from medical, technical fields to low profile service sector jobs such as restaurant service, cab driving, Supermarket counter staff etc.. By sheer hardwork.

The carbon tax section is completely misinformed. 8/10 Households in Canada, and almost all households around median income gain more in carbon tax rebates than the price increases they pay. The median income households receive around $1000 CAD more than they pay in carbon tax-resulting price increases, and it's paid for by the pollutants that ruin our air, cause wildfires, abandon oil rigs and ruin our nature. Even if the households received less, the revenue from carbon tax is used on clean air incentives, and I think it's a pretty rational opinion to believe that I'd rather have pollutants paying for ruining our environment than doing it for free.

There’s an Indian loophole. Gain employment at Tim Hortons, Walmart, Amazon etc and you can get permanent residency. Right now Canadian politicians have a deal with certain corporations for cheap labour. If you work at any of those corporations, you will get PR. Simple as that. Come to “school” for whatever course…work at any of the above companies and boom…PR is yours. Trust that greed will prevail, take advantage of it and start a new life in Canada.

Real international student brings money and high quality people to Canada. However, there are some students coming to Canada aiming to work and to gain income back home. Why entrepreneurs and start up programs that can bring money to Canada takes years (over 3 years) to process and the number of applications is shrinking. Canada needs money to sustains the economy. Importing thousands and thousands of servants but not enough money to pay? Why don’t they look into the infrastructure and the system of the country when planning their immigration policies? The money behind these policies must be big.

Trudeau didn’t make this decision out of some instantaneous intelligence out of the blue. HE WAS FORCED TO MAKE THIS DECISION BECAUSE HE HAS AN IMPENDING ELECTION ON THE HORIZON AND IS LOW IN THE POLES. He is hoping he will gain support from Canadians over this. However, Canadians can see right through his phoney performance caring. He doesn’t care about Canada or the people.

So for all u wondering how he got into Canada, just ask yourself how do you get into other countries? There are various legal visas one can gain entry. Clean record until now, it ain't that hard o visit other countries right? It could have easily been that simple. Or he got smuggled in from the state's.

international students come to Canada to work not to study, they know that they are spending these much money to gain work status in Canada and not to study! that's their fault!\nGovernment should funds education/school in our country for our children the future citizens of this country and not illegals status that comes in to Canada and should NOT send money abroad, like what Trudeau is doing his funding billions of Canadian tax payer money in other country!

As a fellow Indian, They had enough time time to study and get a good job apply for PR instead they take useless courses , work instead of study and when the wp expires they think they can do a strike and demand to extend WP!Remember its an opportunity given by Canada to gain Workexperince after study instead you guys are make them take it back by doing this stupid strike! As per visa you are required to leave country and if u don’t you are breaking visa rules and bringing in more hate to others

Do you really think these crooks look like students who are here to study? What a joke. They are fraudsters, criminals, and hooligans who have found a super easy way to gain access to overseas countries like Canada, Australia, the UK, etc. through student visa, work permits, or refugees. They have destroyed the peace and harmony of the country. These crooks have no respect and social values and lack basic knowledge as to how they should behave in a civilized society. The message is out loud and clear that not only Canada but also other overseas countries should reconsider their immigration policies as well to prevent bad seeds from entering their borders.

We need a referendum on the immigration policy of Canada. Most of these students arrive with hardly a basic knowledge about Canadian culture and University aspect.\nThere are too many loopholes deliberately created by the government to allow International students to gain permanent residence in Canada Canada

I live in the Swanton sector in Upstate NY, 5 miles south of the Canadian border. Our small town sees dozens of border crossers a day, many just wandering down our Main Street waiting to catch a ride to NYC. Several months ago, I approached a group of a dozen military age males, loitering around the gas station at the main crossroad in town. One male was on a cell phone trying to communicate with someone on the other end who was speaking very good English, meaning no perceivable accent. The cell phone male was unable to communicate with the person on the other end of the call (female voice). As I listened to the other members of the group talking, I heard several words and or phrases that sounded familiar to me (possibly Arabic). I was language trained in the military for Arabic. When I spoke to the men, their eyes lit up with recognition. They were all Muslims from Bangladesh. After several moments of chatting, I was able to discover where they were from, that they flew into Canada, were given a contact # to call after crossing and for them to make their way to NYC. My data is anecdotal but a majority of the migrants we’re are seeing here in Upstate NY are from Central Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh). Winter is quickly approaching here, and many who risk the Swanton sector route will not make it due to the extreme cold. Many of my friends who live outside of town, many farmers, are deeply concerned or frightened for the safety of their families. Many have had migrants approach their houses and attempt to gain access. Truly scary stuff. And it seems to only be getting worse.

Canada didn't state it needed more immigrants it was only trudo and his cronies. Canada is overcrowded and drastically needs to expulse them to regain a balance in population and lower the already drastic overcrowding. AppplyBoard are criminal profiteers cheating these iIndian hopefuls and laughing all the way to the bank of India, and not even keeping their ill gotten gains in this country.

I know a lot of immigrants. They are more annoyed about these immigration cheaters than anyone else. These immigrants have spent thousands of dollars and a lot of time coming to Canada the legal way. These cheaters have jumped the queue and our politicians want to reward them for their crime. Max needs to reach out to the various immigrant communities. If he wants to gain votes, that is where he can make gains.

No, recruiters dont deceive! Students and the agencies are fully aware of what is their ultimate goal. Enter through some unrecognized colleges and gain PR. Recrutiers have contacts with small colleges and give them business by sending students to Canada. Students are well informed in this day and age what channels to use. There are recruiting agencies in every nook and corner of India sending students for decades.

Hey Igor, I feel your view is understandable but the issue I see is mostly in Ontario. There are many examples of people who seem to be from a particular community creating issues there, I have heard of persons who don't seem to understand how to communicate and making things difficult for other groups of people, coming to canada to work and slacking in their studies which is why they are in canada and also where people who are PR unable to get a job because only international students are getting hired. but I agree the government need to put better regulations in place to prevent people from being taken advantage of and hire people based on qualification and make the work place more diverse where possible with fair wages that are liveable as well as understand that they sold canada as the place to be for anyone to gain citizenship from the education stream

The situation is more nuanced than just blaming migrants at large. \n\nFirstly, migrants were part of the population that accelerated Canada's economic development. \n\nOne big modern example is the building of the tracks (manual labour) of the Canadian National Railway across the country: much of the physical labour was done by migrants.\n\nAnother example is temporary farm workers that help plant and harvest Canadian crops annually.\n\nIn contrast, there are some migrants that have intentionally taken advantage of opportunities to invest in and monopolize large plots of land development all over Canada in recent decades. Prominently in Vancouver and Toronto.\n\nThis unrestricted monopolization of Canadian land is usually done by the wealthy from other countries. As a result, housing market prices goes up in and around these land development projects that the local population are unable to keep up to afford. And it's the fault of both the federal and provincial governments in just letting these wealthy investors gain a monopoly on Canadian soil and artificially driving up housing market prices.\n\nThe influx of international student visas have only exacerbated this housing crisis because land development investors are now using their new establishments as international student housing for profit while pricing out or simply not catering to the need for housing for the local population.

What happened here, Wealth transferred from you to the Visa agent in the India, LMIA business owner gained wealth from you for providing a work permit, You worked hard at minimum wage jobs, who gained employer got a minimum worker, gov't got Taxes, In the end of the day, India or Canada, you lost your wealth, in false hopes and dreams. Wealth lost to the system, now it's not coming back. You were the product from top to bottom, now useless.

The thing is, if they came here to “study” and actually got a degree in something that could benefit Canada, they would be offered the opportunity to stay. \nHow are all there “students” leaving these schools with nothing to offer, other than working at convenience stores and cabs?\nThe entire point of post secondary is to gain knowledge and skills for future employment. \nThey we’re obviously never interested in gaining an actual education, only a past track to permanent residence. \nThere are immigration “consultants” that advertise on TikTok in Punjabi, out of Brampton, that apply on their behalf to take advantage of loopholes on our system that turn visitor visas into work visas. Absolutely disgusting.

Its not just Canada but actually all the Western Nations are undergoing deep economic crisis. It won't matter where you go in the West it will be the same. The hegemony the West enjoyed for so long due to their exploitation, rape and pillage of other nations has finally come to an end. The standard of living they enjoyed for so long will be gone forever and the so called 3rd World nations or the Global Majority will finally be able to enjoy a higher standard of living as they gain sovereignty and join organisations such as BRICKS or BRI.

Probably Canada is making more money thanks to the savings of those who are moving in Canada and bring here all they have. In addition to these money Canada has the continuously financial benefit from the relatives of emigrants who send money or visit and spend money in Canada. I don't know if there is a statistics about this but probably somebody know well. Thus Canada is spending less than is gaining by the emigration system. Another aspect is related with the family problem. It seems in Canada there are many separated families, divorced. Probably this is because Canada is taking emigrants good for work by separating from their familiei. It was not different in the past with the slaves. Thus the people arriving here are missing the solidity of a complete family , with parents, grand parents, grand grand parents. A young family has more stability living with their large family. The disruption of the family by the emigration system has the result in more people living alone due to divorce.

Very surprised at the comments… shes leaving bc her buisness isnt successful online in a country that taxes them. Many countries dont tax businesses income in this way?? . Ppl here keep trying to call non jobs jobs. A fulltime or pt, all supporting financially, get to make my own hours and only work more when they decide. Etc. Its not actual reasons a professional business moves. They want an untraditional workspace AND they just put the canada social/culture changes in there to mention its what she appreciated about canada and now were just likeany other country except high taxes. Especially in the middle, 40,000- what? 100,000? I cant remember the top cut off. Where they stop taxing you so much. Its literally done to ALL CANADAIANS. Not youtube specific income and shed not qualify for cerb with it. She lied to the gov to live on welfare and not claim her ALL income from youtube. She didnt lose her job… bc of covid. Anyhoo, welfare is the same. Shes not going to get all her taxes back under 40,000/year. That means she isnt a successful job on youtube. Shes moving before she gains. She hit over 41,000 and got taxed. Shes complaining about THE SAME TAXES WE ALL PAY. That dont increase. Its the property taxes from owners that pay for public spaces etc. and social services. Youre cheering her on… for a low income buinsess that shouldnt be the reason to move. Its naive. Sorry commentors! I hope you change your minds… ppl also leave bc collections and credit checks dont follow you around the world. Its impossible. I bet for her taxes too…

My family came to Canada in the early 80s, invested over $200,000 for 3 businesses over 35 years, employing over 30 Canadians. That's what I thought immigration was, a contribution to Canada's growth in exchange for our citizenship. That Canada must gain something before I am allowed to live in this country. Apparently, that's no longer the case.

What they fail to say is that they do not have enough points to gain PR. Literally hundreds of thousands of people immigrate to Canada yearly (as per the program requirements) and that’s because they have enough points to get invited for PR. \n\nGet your points up, be competitive like everybody else.

How can you force a flood of immigrants upon a nation and expect a net gain for that country economically? How does the open door accommodating host culture (Canada) expect to survive meaningfully without irrevocable demographic & cultural change?
|
| 2024-08-10 | 0 |
Mass migration is a war crime in Canada . No housing or healthcare or jobs even before immigration . This is treasonous by those who promote this. Two lar b e business groups are pushing the federal coalition to mass immigrate for their own financial gain and our loss. The heads of those businesses are friends with our coalition leaders.

Canada is already harbouring Indian separatists for political and diplomatic gain. Indian govt have already warned of such consequences in future. Because separatists has a mindset to create a new nation for their community wherever possible.

Anti-immigrant sentiment is on the rise in Canada, and in other western countries because far-Right politicians have been stoking racist sentiment in an attempt to gain more votes from racists by creating imaginary fears among gullible, low-brow, uneducated voters. And it’s working. Soon, Canada will have a boil-over point, just like England is experiencing right now.

The liberals did this on purpose to gain new tax revenues! For corporations to get cheap labor. For Canadians to leave so canada can be a cheap labor country while making more money for the rich and politicians.

There are now quite a few news stories in Canada of immigrants leaving the country - some back home and others to the USA and other places. Many just get a Canadian passport and then leave. There are public health care and pensions, so it can be an asset and also a convenient travel document to have. A lot of Canadian university graduates have a very hard time finding work in their fields and a lot of them look to the US for a better future. Both immigration and unemployment in Canada are much higher that in the US - so more people are chasing fewer jobs that often pay less and are taxed more than in the USA. Opportunities are generally a lot fewer in Canada than the US, and the business environment is not as favourable, and taxes significantly higher. You would be getting some of the entrepreneurs from Canada moving to the US for more favourable conditions as well to launch a business and also now a lot more rich investor types, so-called high net worth individuals wanting to relocate, because they just raised the capital gains tax in Canada. Capital gains is also triggered on inheritance in Canada with a deemed sale of property and assets, so rich people would prefer the American system and want to be residents there for tax purposes and have their assets grow in value in the US compared to Canada. There are very large numbers of foreign students and other categories of immigrants which may have as their goal going to the US after getting a temporary visa to Canada which is easy to get - maybe something like half a million to a million people in those categories depending on the year, plus around another half million regular immigrants and refugees now. The Trudeau administration has increased immigration to record numbers. It has been steadily going up over the years for several decades since 1990. Because of family re-unification it can have a snowball effect and could significantly exceed 1 million per year. A lot of the sending countries have much larger populations than Canada, so there are a lot more that can be potentially sent to Canada in the future. About 1/4 of the population of Canada has been added in the past few decades. Add to that visitors and temporary visas - that is a lot of people potentially moving to the US. Before the 1990s Canadians visiting the US were not required to have a passport and a drivers' license or birth certificate was adequate. Now a passport is required. It is impossible to effectively control the long Canada-US border, so there could be some unified policies in that area agreed on between Canada and the USA on immigration and refugees. Canada currently has a very open immigration policy with the government actively seeking out more immigration beyond its current processing capacity and trying to take rejected immigrants from other countries. The Canadian government, especially in recent years under Trudeau is immigration hungry. It might be the only country in the world doing that. What some news reports are now saying is that some immigrants are actually leaving, since they find it so difficult in Canada and some are worse off than they were in the countries they came from, which were considered to be less developed than Canada.
\nWashington currently has more immigration controls and administrative competencies than Ottawa, so US pressure and influence is a faster way to get reforms into the system than waiting for local politicians to do anything, which is unlikely. Canada is seen by some as a backdoor into the US. Biden's immigration policies could be seen as very conservative in Canada compared to Trudeau's. It used to be in the news about how refugees were trying to get to Canada and walking across the border in Quebec and out west from the US earlier, but now there are more news stories of immigrants leaving Canada trying to go the other way, probably due to high costs and unemployment because the government took in more people than it could absorb into the economy. They have the idea that immigration drives GDP growth so that they can borrow and spend more, expand the civil service, etc. without making any cutbacks or efficiencies, supposedly without the Debt to GDP ratio getting worse, just by bringing in more people as if that would drive the economy. A lot depends on who you bring in as well. Are they going to go on welfare, are they going to increase crime, will they somehow contribute to society, are they a net tax benefit or cost in terms of government services, will they invest money, will they start a business and create jobs for others ? Those issues do not factor into government decision making in Canada for the most part. Ontario Premier Doug Ford did say there were too many foreign students. It is bad planning not to consider those factors since there are other costs that grow with those policies as well, and infrastructure has to be expanded. I think that the real immigration numbers to Canada are not transparent or made public, nor are the costs involved, if anyone even knows what they are. Nor is the impact on crime. You can guess from what the reports are in other countries. The Fraser Institute has made some estimates on the net costs of immigration to the government budget a few years ago, which were very high and which by now have increased - the cost equivalent of several new aircraft carriers each year. They are big numbers which are not publicized, but it amounts to the fact that immigration is subsidized by the taxpayers in Canada and it is not paying for our pensions as an ageing society as has been claimed. There is less money for education, health care and pensions per person, and those social benefits will probably have to be reduced over time. Social programs can only be delivered to the extent that the government has money. The bigger social system a county has, the more such immigration policies are going to cost. Trudeau has been expanding various social programs as well, so higher taxes and debt are likely with that approach. Then more productive people and companies will want to leave Canada and go to the US. Probably the government does not know what the actual numbers and costs are and doesn't actively keep track of that information beyond what is required. Probably nobody knows what the true immigration figures and their associated costs are in Canada, and hardly anyone has even studied those issues. If they can just walk across the US border and get papers so easily making an asylum claim, it is not surprising, since it would take them longer to get a regular visa and work permit if they did it legally. You could call that a loophole in the US immigration system which is being exploited. The US is better governed in general and has a better system in many ways, but I am not sure if it is the same on that. People have arrived on boats and have not been sent back. At least in the US you have more open information about those issues. In Canada it is hard to find out anything about it. Deportations from Canada are very few.
\nOn other issues in Canada when voting in federal elections you have to show a government issued photo ID like a drivers' license or passport to vote and bring a card that was mailed out to eligible voters that gets updated addresses when a person files their taxes. I have never heard of mail-in ballots in Canada, but there are remote areas of the country in the far north who may have special system for voting. It is easier to get a Canadian citizenship than US and many more citizenships are handed out in Canada each year in proportion to the population than in the US. Canadian might be one of the easiest citizenships to get in the world. The official line now is that it is a country of immigrants. Based on current trends, will very little opposition to it in the parliament and most MPs supporting it, future immigration to Canada could increase to several million per year because of the rapid growth of population in the world, and the momentum already growing of immigration to Canada, so it may change significantly in the future. Historically around the world you can see many examples that country names, borders, flags and languages change over time with population changes, so it might not be called Canada anymore in 50-100 years. For example, Bulgaria used to be called Thrace which had been a powerful kingdom in antiquity and had a different language which is barely known about anymore. Over the past 2,000 years it has gone through a number of changes and had various regimes governing it, has been independent and also part of several different empires. Canada has only been a country for a short time in comparison and has been been going through significant changes. Trudeau has said that Canada is a post-national country. Canada is also going through a period of critical self-examination and deconstruction-revisionism. A lot of what had been viewed as positive from its history now is seen more critically, with re-naming and removing historical figures now seen as negative.\nDiscussing immigration policy critically is considered by many to be taboo in Canada, unless a person is saying good things about it in general. You can hear people say that the government isn't processing enough people, for example, but not often that there are too many or that it costs a lot of money. The trend of migration from Canada to the US would only increase much more in the future as it is going currently, and its role as a stepping stone to migration to the US could increase. The way this would be seen by many in Canada is that they are losing valuable people to the USA whom they consider assets, since a lot of officials have been trying to bring in more people into the country, but not everyone wants to stay in Canada nowadays because of a lack of jobs and opportunities. Canada is quite laissez-faire about migration, with Toronto being a sanctuary city as well.

The biggest impact on the declining economic productivity coincides with the Trump administrations trade war against Canada. They ripped up the previous trade agreement, and tabled a new one that attempted to devour Canadian industry. No one ever talks about this, and it's unfortunate. That coupled with the pandemic, resulted in a one-two punch to the Canadian economy. On top of that the amount of investment into automation in the energy sector over the past 10 years has reduced the demand for labour. And now with the ever expanding encroachment of AI on nearly every industry, the Canadian economy is facing an uphill battle. Many think that a prime minister is the main reason, when it's not. Canada is at the whim of US economic policy, which I fear is going to get even worse when Trump returns to office. A transition to Conservatives at the Federal level may lighten the load on a few things like Carbon Tax, and Income Tax (maybe), but they won't be the party to introduce limitations and regulations on investors that are responsible for driving up housing prices, by treating the housing market like it's a stock exchange. \nI will applaud Trudeau on winning over the EV battery plant, for pulling us out of bombing Syria and Iraq, for legalizing Marijuana, and for including Dental Care in health coverage (albeit limited...), but some of his decisions should have been better thought through, like the capital gains tax, and should only be targeting investors that have more than 3 properties. While he increased the budget for the Military, he's spent his first two terms ignoring it and that's severely hampered our readiness, and equipment. And while I do think we needed to boost immigration to stave off economic disaster, the current level that its at is problematic, and many bad faith actors are taking advantage of it and enriching themselves like the diploma mills.

The Case for Fairness: Student Visas and Permanent Residency in Canada\n\nCanada is known for its welcoming attitude towards international students, who come to study and gain valuable skills. However, recent protests by some foreign students demanding permanent residency (PR) raise important questions about the purposes of study permits and immigration policies.\n\nThe primary intention of a student visa is to allow individuals to pursue education. While the experience gained in Canada can enhance future career prospects, it should not give rise to expectations of automatic residency. Granting PR based on educational status could undermine the integrity of Canada’s immigration system and set a precedent that might attract individuals solely interested in residency rather than education.\n\nThe government must uphold the rules governing student visas and immigration. Students are encouraged to focus on their studies and contribute positively to Canadian society during their time here. After their studies, it is fair that they return to their home countries, equipped with new knowledge and skills.\n\nBy maintaining a clear distinction between study permits and immigration pathways, the Canadian government can ensure that the system remains fair and just for all. It is essential to support international students while also encouraging respect for the legal frameworks in place.

immigration, including 144,000 refugee claimants drives rental demand . So do foreign students. The difference is that the foreign students pay money into the economy and are not housed temporarily in hotels . The Trudeau solution is to reduce the number of foreign students while increasing immigration levels . That's such a good plan. He has also increased the public service by about 80000+ in 8 years, with no noticeable change in the service. He is also raising the capital gain tax to encourage more investment in Canada. Right? I hear Communist countries have a command economy , where central planners run the economy . Trudeau DID say he admired the ability of the CCP in China to get things done by government command. He has no use for the loyal opposition who are always asking questions, even if they do get more than half the votes .

As a Canadian I agree that Canada is no longer a great place to immigrate to. I disagree that it is due to racism (my parents were immigrants) but now the cost of living is too high due to shortage of housing supply and inflation. Salaries have not kept up. Immigrants do have a much harder time gaining employment in high skilled jobs especially if their English is not PERFECT. And local governments have not prepared the infrastructure to handle the massive amount of immigration that the government has accepted over the years. Our schools and health care systems are overwhelmed and stressed to the point where 1/4 of people don’t have a family doctor and getting into even a public school has become competitive. \n\nThis is not the Canada I grew up in or thought my kids would grow up in. It’s hard even for Canadians to survive and immigrants coming here without a 6-figure salary job will struggle to survive.

$17k for international students, $2k for Canadians. The Government is creating this environment to tip the scales of the voter demographics, NEW IMMIGRANTS ARE NOT TO BLAME, it's the Schools and Government doing this for cash. Previous Generation of Indians have worked hard in this country, bad apples should be deported, most will be hard working. Canada needs to remove taxes, these immigrants will be flocking to US after they gain an education and residency. ❤️ Indian Food and Body Aroma ?

I agree with the person who commenced at the 8-minute and 20th-second. Some Indians are in Canada, not to study, but to gain permanent residency. Indians look at the dollar, which is superior to the Indian rupee. The dollar attracts Indians to work and live in Canada so they can live a better life than in India. However, some Indians should acknowledge and respect that they are in Canada for a particular time and must leave once that time is over. Another thing is that some of these Indians do not adapt to the Canadian culture; instead, some disrespect it and take advantage of the loopholes in the Canadian system.
