I have never been so ashamed to be an American ? It’s like Trump is trying to hurt as many innocent people as he can. He is abusing nice people like the Canadians and Prime Minister Trudeau. He is hurtful to the Mexicans and immigrants as well. I was so angry with the way the Trump administration ganged up on and bullied the nice, strong Ukrainian President Zelenskyy. I loathe the Trump administration. Trudeau and Zelenskyy are vastly superior to Trump and everyone in his administration.

Looks like Trumps goal here is to bring Canada to its knees ( Trump is even trying to get Russian Aluminium to replace Canadian Alumininium) so he can make Canada go broke and beg to become the 51st state of the USA

As a Canadian for 45 years, we all know others write his speeches and this like many of his speeches sounds overly scripted. In this respect, I actually prefer Trump who has less filters when he speaks. Trump is clearly trying to save America from further drowing in debt by increasing government revenue while minimizing expenses which is commendable although I don't approve of all his tactics.

I never ever was on the Trump train. I am an American Citizen and I think he is deranged. I hope those that voted for him are starting to pick up on his madness after these past few weeks. How he ever got elected the first time was absolutely sickening. But to do it again? After an insurrection? The U.S. deserves whatever blow back we get. The US is showing the world it is now an unreliable, untrustworthy partner. Canada will suffer these tariffs imposed arbitrarily by Pres.Trump, but Canada will always be a reliable and trustworthy partner.
