The working class is about 97% of the population of the U.S. they are many, many millions of people, many more than the employer class, and so they can act and achieve that crucially important goal.

Why does he feel the need to stroke Trump's ego, calling him a smart man, while condemning his actions. He articulates all the harm and difficulties Trump's actions, and these tariffs will cause, but refuses to point to the source of this stupidity directly, and call him out for it.

From an assumption that these and future tariffs will positively harm the US economy, just where does Trump go when the shit hits the fan (as it pretty much already has done)? How does he row back from the chaos he is causing and has caused. He doesn't retreat easily. I used to think that the idea that Trump is a Russian asset was just a conspiracy theory. I am not sure of that now as how else to you explain why Trump is doing everything he can to undermine the USA? Why else would you cause a breech between the US and our allies Canada and Mexico? Why else would he destroy the infrastructure of our country through Musk and Doge? Why else would you stop all aid to Ukraine? Why would you stop cyber operations targeting Russia? Why would he set up an operation to humiliate the leader of an allied country fighting for its life against Russian aggression?
