This is all part of Trump’s plan to create panic, confusion and frustration to the American people to make us weak so he can sell us to PUTIN. The tariff to Canada, Mexico and China; his immigration racist decisions to target Latinos; the way he and Vance attacked to president Zaleski and firing federal employes is just ALL Part of a plan to create confusion, so while we scratch our head, he allied with PUTIN.

In a best case scenario, DJT will rescind the tariffs on Canadian goods. In the worst case, we get even poorer. If this happened after Trump became president the first time, the economy was strong from 4 years of Obama's presidency. Then COVID happened, and for alot of folks here, they haven't recovered financially. Savings and retirement plans are gone. Rent is higher, for many it takes over 50% of their income. So in this emergency time, there's nothing to fall back on. Oh and DOGE will cut SNAP benefits, I'm sure. That's food stamps, meant for the people struggling. Most all the overseas US mfg might come home to moma. \nI would advise Trump to selectively wave tariffs on some items like lumber from Canada and food from mexico. As for oil from Canada I think Trump will let Chevron develop and buy heavy oil from Venezuela. If not might have to wave/reduce tariffs on Canadian diluted bitumen oil.
