I have many immigrant friends. I haven't lost my culture, but embrace theirs. The issue is the government's immigration policies are creating racism. There is no way you can survive on $21 an hour. It's going to get worse before it gets better. Your only option is further education to secure a better job. That is not an option for many people based on finances and current education. Average Canadian penalized for having a job.

I wish more people would see this video, it’s not about being racism e about to be Canadian in the first place. Integration and respect to the country. They left fora better life and want to change the culture of this country to impose your on. This is not right. This has gone to far.

They say racism is taught. And within young kids you can see and hear very clearly it totally can be as it’s heavily based on perspective. As someone with autism I genuinely just see people for who they are and what they provide ignoring race or politics and I’ve never been racist. With all of that said I almost feel as a white Canadian now a days what “first generation racism” feels like. But it’s not like traditional “racism” hating for the sake of hating. It’s more so getting mad that they come into our country refusing to adapt and then also take countless amounts of jobs while sky rocketing housing prices. Like damn when I was a kid I felt like I had so many options. But now there’s no seeable future for me it feels like. Immigrants are taking so many jobs and countless people faking disabilities so I cannot have mine taken seriously or properly. Like holy crap man call me “racist” but mass immigration has undeniably changed Canada for the worst and if you don’t agree you’re probably one of the problems that moved here

You leave your country and come here to sell drugs and do all sorts of evil things. Why don't you go back and do all the sh**t in your country. Some people are working hard to earn a living and some people want to scam and sell our information to other countries like India. Who is running registries? Can someone answer me please? I used to defend indians whenever a fellow construction worker is on them however now I don’t bother since most of them showed deep coldness and slick behaviour like racism towards blacks, natives and Asian, smear campaign on job sites to get other contractors fired and of course the job will most likely be handed to them. Was disgusted when realising that some of them are getting paid 13/hr. To be short, this people are terribly dreadful and malignant in so many ways just really good at hiding it. And I am also an immigrant.

Some businesses with labor shortages are helped with the settlement program with administrative support. Hiring specific migrants instead of Canadians is a company decision is pure capitalism. House crisis is a global issue, capitalism (investment vs basic human rights). Inflation is an economic issue. The most wanted criminals in all of Canada, are Canadians. Look into the police web pages, go yourself and see the pictures and names. Blame migrants is a global tactic used 100 years ago by different politics to get elected with the promise of a solution. Migration exists with humanity, economic crises are modern issues. With the wrong diagnosis we get the wrong solutions. Wake up Canada, that is the reason that US is your father.

I am so happy people are starting to speak up. Sadly, I am changing. I am becoming angry. Angry at immigrants and the system. Am I becoming racist? Or just so lost at how things seem so wrong. My main upset is for my teen son. Turned 16 after Christmas. So excited about looking for a part-time job, earning some money, getting experiences and (unbeknownst to him ) expanding his social circle. This excitement came from me. LIke all us Canadians who remember our first part-time jobs (mine was at a McDonalds), I regaled my son in stories of that first part-time job. How much I learned from it, and the so many benefits it would have for me as I got older. He listened, and couldn't wait to turn 16. Also, like most parents, I raised him on the benefits of working hard in school, getting good grades, learning, getting involved, etc. Do these things son, and you will have a good future. He listened. Honours student all his life. Played on school teams. Performed in talent shows, Volunteered his time, etc., etc. Not a bad resume for a first time teen seeking a job. It is now heading into September. He has applied at all the traditional teen job hotspots, (all the fast food joints, grocery stores, drug stores, etc). Dozens of resumes, online and in-person applications. Not a single response. Then I walk into the local Burger King. Not a single Caucasian, Black, Hispanic, Indigenous, or Far Eastern employee. All East Indian (or Pakistani). Suddenly I am really noticing this trend everywhere, especially in the franchise fast food industry; especially upsetting when I even see it in a Harvey's (even more Canadian than Timmies). It's either East Indians or Arabs. I don't know for how long I have been hearing about diversity and fair hiring practices (which I have always supported); but to see this trend makes me furious. Are the owners of these franchise exempt from fair hiring practices? Are they not taught we are a diverse country? This is wrong. I want to finish with two sad situations which we should all be concerned about. When my eldest was looking for part-time work after the pandemic, he walked into a Mr. Submarine. He asked if he could leave his resume or fill out an application. The Arab cashier told him in broken English they were not hiring. As he was walking out, a young Arab man walked in. He approached the same cashier and asked for an application. She gave him one. WTF. My last comment, is the most concerning of all. My 16 year old, who works so hard at school, and at everything he does, recently commented, after yet another non-reply after handing out a slew of resumes, "Dad... what's the use of working so hard if I can't even get a job at McDonalds." I wonder how many other Canadian teens are feeling the same way. Not just white teens. Black, Hispanic, Indigenous and East Asian teens. Seems the broken English East Indian and Arab teens and young adults aren't asking themselves that. How long until my son thinks I am just spewing BS about this hard work thing? This is not about racism. This is about fair hiring practices, especially in more and more franchises; however, I do find myself listening to more and more of these videos, and find myself developing sucb negative feelings towards these two cultures. This is not Canadian. To be thinking this way, especially, is not Canadian. What do we do? Speak up, and we are racist. Stay quiet, and our teen kids move into adulthood without job experience, money put away, or just having a life experience that any of us over 30 (no matter our race) experienced. Something has to change; but I haven't a clue how to do that.

Most of are Europeans and they still follow European culture, religion & lifestyle. Same Racism, hatred, violence, alcoholism, drugs, indecent clothes & behavior in public, they are on big government, army, political posts, same exploitation like they were doing at time of colonial times. They looks modern but no change in their mentality & ideology. Even today they can’t tolerate different skin colors, cultures, religions etc. this should be changed. Canadians have been labelled racists; Indians have refused to adopt the Canadian way of life. They are dirty, rude, blame deflectors in the workplace. I have been replaced by Indians in the workplace due to claims of "racism" just for calling out issues created and perpetuated by Indian colleagues. How many scam calls are we all getting now, how many jobs are we losing to them now, how many incentives are companies exploiting by hiring them just to drive profits now? I have a university degree and cannot get a job after such terrible experiences with these people in the workplace so I am going back to school in order to enter a type of industry they have not 'yet' taken over. Boomer thinking, their voting of Liberals and media brainwashing of "cultural diversity" has brought these issues to the boiling point. Enough is enough! Go back to India!

As an American citizen who has seen through all of Trump's lies, abuses, and racism since the 1980s, I am sadly amazed that so many of my fellow citizens have bought into his transparent disregard for our nation, it's people, and the world at large. Trump has created a rift of division unparalleled in our history. At the same time, the world at large has never seemed more united. Until this dark era passes and my nation returns, I will take strength in being a citizen of the world.

I lived in Montana for five years moving from Ontario Canada. I returned after five years because your legal system is a joke. Healthcare is so expensive living in Canada’s way. My dad is an Indian migrant to Australia. He came here legally and worked his butt off for 40 years. To people commenting in the section about how this is unfair and complaining about it. Legal migrants don’t want you in their countries either. It ruins everyone’s reputation. Indians have largely been known to be model citizens. Participants in the western traditions and economic development. By going somewhere illegally you break that trust and let’s be honest the only ones that travel illegally don’t have an education nor considerable skills. Racism has been caused due to Muslims, pushing more and more on the communities in which they are living. Wanting Sharia law. Additionally, if anything is not going their way, they complain about racism and why Canadians don’t understand their culture. Yet, they have no interest in learning about and adapting to Canadian culture. Many brought with them the ways of dealing with people and doing business that are often very shady and Canadians are forced to adapt to them. I support immigration as it adds to the diversity of our culture. However, when 80% of the permanent residence VISA were issued to Indians last year, that’s not diversity. We don’t want to become India 2.0.

This is addressed mainly to the ugly Indian: My generation came to the racist west and built a golden reputation. We worked hard, assimilated, paid our taxes, and obeyed the laws. We were humble. We celebrated our native cultures within the confines of our communities. While it was frustrating to be invisible in white culture, we never sought to conquer them with our culture. We were ethical to the hilt. Our generations were poor -- yet we struggled to help others in India and in the west. We were NEVER on the dole. Personally I think it is rude to enter a nation (in the west or anywhere in the world) with naked opportunism. Speaking for myself -- despite neocolonialism, I admired western civilization, especially its older forms. \n \nBut the ugly Indian who comes now is loud, brash, socially irresponsible, exploitative, money-hungry, opportunistic, and arrogant beyond belief (full of the hubris that comes from sudden new wealth). They look down on us who have been here a while. They are used to a servant-culture and look down on white working class people, as if they are servants. As for second generation Indians in the west, they can be racist towards us first generations. But the opposite is true as well. Indian newcomers see them as an alien species. Indians do tend to hire their own and stick to their own identities -- I do not mean the Indian identity, but their native state identities. All this feeds into the primary and secondary forms of western racism that are already simmering beneath the surface. This new genre of Indians is destroying the goodwill we have built. I have personally witnessed arrogant young Indian students cutting the line to reach the front desk. No manners, no ethics. As a first generation Indian immigrant I get annoyed. So why shouldn't native born westerners (who are already racist)? \n \nBut to complain about how they smell is rude beyond belief. This must stop.
