Now, the government can pay unemployment and healthcare for people who were paying taxes! Then there is revenue lost because National Parks and Federal common spaces are closed. Then there was the this: CDC restricted from updating Americans on the latest epidemiologist reports on Covid, bird flu, the chickenpox outbreak in Texas, flu, and every other potential pandemic virus. Women and children will die as a result of this action! \nAgain, illogical anctions along with Trump aligning himself with Putin and every other dictator. He can move to Russia if he wants to live his life under Putin. He treats everyone the same; expendable!

I am a Canadian. We do not want conflict with USA. What we want is for our new leader to be voted in - and then work things out for trade. President Trump is aware of what we have suffered. This is not anti-American, it is just fighting back from an unnecessary trade war. It does however break my heart because many Canadians have family on the U.S. side. I know it would also break my father’s heart as he grew up in New England and had a lifetime affection for the U.S. I despise politics and have not been a proud Canadian for a few years but I have to admit that this speech is getting me going again. Canada needs to get its act together and rebuild its military, not to fend off the U.S. but to hold its own should other countries decide we are ripe for the picking.
