And after how President Zelenskyy was treated, disgusting right for the news to see on purpose. Your President is way too close to Putin and who knows what other countries. Trump, and his cronies want the spoils and treasures of Canada, Mexico, Ukraine and Gazza! BTW Trump your welcome from Canada ?? for helping putting out your fires in California! Canadian here. Wake up Canadians. Many people are praising Trudeau for this speech. Don't. He is out as Liberal leader within the week. He doesn't have to follow through on anything he said. Plus, he just stated that he's smart enough to suggest that Trump just put a 25% tax on Canadian goods for Americans but he also thinks that you are dumb enough not to realize that he just put a 25% tax on Canadians for American goods. Trudeau basically created the situation for these tariffs (open border to let anyone come here). He loves this as he gets to take the apparent moral high ground for the first time in his life and wants this speech to be the way he is remembered rather than years of failing Canada. Forget about the last 9 years and vote Liberal if you are a fool.

CNN needs to realize its role in this, as everyone knew what Trump would do, but you didn't care enough about the black vote to listen to what they wanted. Make no mistake. The black voters held their nose and voted for Obama a second term, but when he did nothing but insult us, we stayed home on Hillary and we got Trump. Trump was an overt racist, so you scared enough black voters and we held our nose and voted for Biden, but we made it clear that scare tactics would only work once. You Doubled down in 2024 and you lost miserably this time, Double down again, and you may lose your party. For the record, there is no voter's remorse for those who stayed home.

Canada has known for decades that we have put too many eggs in one basket - selling our resources primarily to the USA. We've had tariffs before and worked with them. Yet we still keep selling to the USA. This time is different. In conjunction with the tariffs, we have an American administration that is flat out insulting Canada. Saying we wouldn't exist economically if it wasn't for the USA. It's at a time when the USA won't promise not to use military force to annex land (Greenland) from a decades old ally. A time when clearly Putin is calling in his chips for whatever he has over Donald Trump. Canadians have had enough. We are directing our governments, provincial and federal, to finally, finally break from the north-south trade links. We need to establish stronger east-west trade links. The resources we have are wanted by many countries if the USA does not want them. It does mean much work within Canada. We need to get our AB-BC pipeline finished as well as the new sea terminal so we can ship our crude oil and natural gas to Japan and if need be, to China. We finally need to get out pipeline to the Atlantic coast finished so we can supply the UK and EU with our products. We need to double our rail capacity for shipping potash, uranium, rare minerals to Asia or Europe. Just as Trump hopes for a golden age of American companies coming home and building new plants in the USA, this will be a golden decade for Canada to create transportation corridors to get our resources to other buyers. America will have to look elsewhere for his raw materials. And we all know what that is - RUSSIA. They've already offered their rare minerals and crude oil. This is all clearly a well thought out scenario from the people working behind Trump to dismiss America's allies and trading partners - have us turn against the USA - as the excuse to open the door to Russian imports into the USA.

If you are Canadian, I would leave the USA immediately because there are American Hillbillies that are stupid enough to run you off the road. Sad day in America..so sorry Canada!!
