I heard something about the way Miss AOC has been going online producing videos, instructing people how to avoid/escape ICE agents, was pushing the limits on the law. That she might get in trouble for it. Then surely the city council, knowingly providing this money for the purpose of helping migrants, NOT GET DEPORTED, really needs to be looked into. Taxing the American's living in NY out the *ss, just to spend that tax money on stuff the citizens, DONT WANT THEM spending it on. I think the act of handing over $2 million dollars, just to help hide the illegal immigrants, while at the same time raising taxes for the actual legal citizens who are NOT benefiting AT ALL, from all this money being spent when, THEY ARE THE ONES WHO ARE ACTUALLY PAYING IT IN, should definitely be crossing the line....

Many degrees and diplomas either need to cut their superfluous fat, integrate cheaper online courses alongside their in school ones or find new ways to prepare students to the market to justify their existence. So many programs that have been cut have been proven to be fluff designed specifically to acquire PR or to make quick money. When Ontario finally reinvests money into Universities and Colleges it should focus on programs that will actually benefit both the student and the nation.

I have a lot of sympathy for these people, especially considering many gave up everything they had to pay smugglers to get this far while our government was effectively letting everyone in while offering additional incentives such as money and temporary housing. Not so sure the American dream is to break into the United States by sneaking over the border illegally and taking benefits in an unlimited way. No offense, since I don’t know if you guys drink coffee or not, but You do realize other countries export to the US. Have never heard of Guatemalan, Brazil, Peru, Marrocan, Ethiopia, Belgium, Costa Rican coffee? Arab countries etc. They all make great coffee. Coffee is not only from Colombia. There’s so various countries producing great coffee .\n\nThey all export coffee to the US. Unless you ONLY like Colombian coffee this shouldn’t be a problem. I earned my permanent resident status back in 2001 and joined US ARMY during war in terror and served for 8 years. While serving, I was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan in the middle of hot zones, dodging grim reaper's radar for many, many times. When I finally earned my US citizenship through military, I seamlessly transitioned into law enforcement career in New York for past 10 years, which I encountered with many illegal criminals with rap sheets- which some makes you think why they are still wondering in the street instead of locked up in the jail, having their freedom taken away. What is funny is that many of these illegal criminals have such an entitled mindset that they are deserve to be here in US without permit do whatever they want and enjoying these unbelievable benefits that these sanctuary city/state provides that we, us citizens don't even get- and we are paying for it with our hard earned money. I think I earned my citizenship with blood and sweat, same goes to many immigrant hopefuls that came to U.S with true American dream. It is time to take back our country and I 100% support with Trump's decision on this.

India's economy has stalled. India also has the rare distinction of being a potential economic powerhouse that won't deliver for its citizens, so its citizens want to upend their lives and move abroad . . . by any means necessary, especially visa fraud - by pretending to be students and working full-time (in violation of student visa requirements), by engaging in sham marriage for sole (and unlawful) immigration benefit, just to name a few outrageous things Indians do. I'm a foreign national of Indian origin, and I support these rejections. Every sovereign country makes it owns decisions as to who is and isn't allowed to enter their country; India is no exception, given its history of refusing visas (many a times, for political reasons). Aap karo to sahi, aap par aayi to mirchi lagi? Oh, and companies abroad get Indian IT talent not because it is good, but because it is cheap (and eventually delivers projects) - big difference. If Indian IT was so dang awesome, you'd think they'd be visionaries in the field, but nope, by and large, Indians consume; they do not invent, but rather implement existing technologies, and have little to offer to the world in terms of scientific and technological breakthroughs at present - with some exceptions.

Dear Palki and Firstpost channel, I appreciate this post but maybe if possible could you pls make a post/report on why some Indians are desperate to leave and most importantly the behaviour of some of our countrymen in foreign lands which gives a bad repute and leaves a bitter taste about our country in foreign lands? Shouldn't these ppl be held accountable too, especially when they are fortunate enough to have the means to visit foreign lands? I have seen first hand the way some of our ppl behave and try to twist and manipulate everything to their benefit, lacking basic respect.

It is incumbent upon the Canadian government to screen out those applicants who received fake admission letters upon arrival or even before departing for Canada - at the Indian airport of departure. Clearly the priority of the Canadian government was to allow one and all in so as to benefit from the exorbitantly high tuition fees charged to international students - so scrutiny of offer letters took a back seat. The recent crack down on international students (after such a long time) especially in the wake of the impending elections makes Canadians highly skeptical. This is nothing but damage control by the Trudeau government now that they are faced with the prospect of a decimation at the general elections. They needed a scapegoat - what better than to blame international students....the outsider - sound familiar?

I’m an international student, from my perspective it seems like the government can’t keep themselves from messing with the economy, basically crippling it by regulations, making the market unable to take advantage of the increased labor supply.\n\nI have spent almost half a million in Canada, which includes tuition, living cost, and starting a business which now employs two Canadians. But because I spent one term as a part time student, I have became ineligible for PGWP, which means I have no way of staying in Canada through my own agencies.\n\nThat is a slap in the face for immigrants whove come here to settle, the fact that I have positively contributed to the Canadian economy than many Canadians ever have, while withdrawing absolutely zero from public benefits, now if I buy a house here yall will drop on me a 50%+ capital gains tax and then kick me out, why would anyone want to invest in Canada? I’m seriously considering just moving to Florida because of all these. \n\nWhat happened to the good old days when you can come here with nothing, integrate into the community, and then become Canadians? Almost none of the forefathers of Canadians had to contribute this much into the society first to become Canadians, they stayed because their peers wanted them to stay, and the market was free to adjust to the labor supply and housing demand without government interference.\n\nWhat I see is not an immigration problem, it’s a big government problem, Canadians have become addicted to the government making decisions for them. Thanks to cheap labor, American capital, and factories, we built in China...Thanks to Chinese capital and technology Mexico will be one of the biggest producers of electric vehicles..They don't need the American market. This planet has 9 billion potential customers...The right thing to do was not to put tariffs but to open an EV factory in the USA using Chinese technology and money and everybody would benefit except Elon Musk and gas and oil corporations ..BYD or NIO better than Tesla costs about 25,000$ only... Tesla sells batteries for EVs for 26 000$...The same battery made in China costs 7.000$ because China has its own lithium. We should say goodbye to Elon Musk batteries and import batteries from China or make a lithium deal with Bolivia as China did. We would have American EVs better than Tesla for just 25.000-30.000$.\nCustomers are paying tariffs and this money goes to the government...Adding tariffs on most of foreign products is the faster way to create the Great Depression as Herberr Hover did in 1930 when he added Tariffs on 2000 imported products

The slogan “Make America Great Again” is very nostalgic, but times are different. If the US imposes these tariffs, it will be to the benefit of China. When American products were undoubtedly superior to the rest of the world, imposing tariffs did not work in the 1970s. Trump is making enemies with our allies! And if he removes the United States from nato, be will just isolate the United States ?? making us weak! Thats exactly what putin wants! Trump is not trying to benefit the United States! Trump is just trying to benefit himself financially! I dont trust trump! I dont like trump! And i know he doesn't have the United States in his best interest! Trump will destroy the United States from the inside out just like he does to all his corporations! People say he's a great business man? Well all of his businesses have mostly gone bankrupt!!

I have ethnic background from Hong Kong and have been living in Canada for almost 40 years. I love Canada and am proud of this beautiful country. However, I think part of the immigration problem we have is the ongoing issue of allowing dual citizenship of everyone who have become a Canadian citizen. I have personally known lots of HK immigrants who would return to their own countries to work as soon as they have got their Canadian passports. Normally one of the parents would stay with their children here for free schooling, medical care and child tax benefits. Their children will follow their parents to go back to HK after they graduated from universities in order to avoid the higher income tax . Unfortunately, those parents will come back to retire in Canada so that they can get free health care benefits and OAS once they have fulfilled the residency requirement of 10 years. Canada do need more skilled and educated immigrants to make our country more prosperous but not those who try to take advantage of our lenient immigration policies. I think we should take back the passports of those who have left Canada for more than 2 years or those who have evaded taxes so that we do not continue to support those never contributed to our country. PS, I mentioned about HK only because of my origin and I believe the same problem would be caused by immigrants from other countries too.

East Indians, quickly becoming the most detested immigrants. Scam, scamers, and scamee. From COVID benefits scaming to mass murdering of more than half of a hockey team, to trafficking drugs, liscense fraud, the list of negative behaviors from this group are immeasurable. And, we haven't mentioned the fact they HATE Canadian culture and are hell-bent on making this country, western India.

After such a terrible ending it's really making me not want to bother listening to anything else from this author/channel. Does anyone know if all their endings are trash or just this one...? Because if all the endings are trash i don't want to waste hours on them. If they're all like this I'll just skip. But if this is the odd bad one, every author has a bad book... Some have plural ? it's a shame about the ending, especially because it feels like half the story. It could have been SO much better. ?‍♀️?‍♀️? Might check out another story later and give the benefit of the doubt.

It feels so foolish to keep trying bandaid solutions that harm the US labor pool. There's a couple of things I keep thinking about in regards to this. \n\n1. Most developed countries on earth are in the midst of or are preparing to deal with population crisis and depopulation. Strong immigration to the US stems this issue and is actually a huge advantage to the power and continuing visibility of the USA.\n\n2. Deportation and border control strike at the effect of immigration and leave the cause unharmed. People come to the USA because there's opportunities here, so why not make opportunities abroad?\n\nIf the USA were to remove benefits of dealing with china while offering massive incentives for moving manufacturing away from china directly to Latin America, not only would we be countering our Chinese dependency but we would also provide jobs at home and stem immigration. Not only that, but the businesses would be American and be controlled by Americans - a huge incentive to stay friendly to the USA.\n\nI don't know, just seems like our current policy and especially what Trump is suggesting are counter productive and stuck in a bygone way of thinking.
