Is Canada importing illegals to smuggle into the US? Why? There's no money in it like there was with the booze they smuggled in during prohibition. Today with all the sympathy Canada seems to be getting from the liberals here, it should be noted that during prohibition, Canadians did most of the booze smuggling into the US, violating the law, and got filthy rich doing it.

Democrats are a Death Cult they are importing illegal voters. Gerrymandering, grift, and theft is the only way Democrat Death Cultists can get elected, and they know it!

Emily shilling wasn't open til 2021. So they're whole career before it was changed in medical books and ok'd in the military was as a male who was female-acting at home. Which wouldn't meet medical standards before. And now it's back to men and women and they are all crying... why? Your sexual preferences shouldn't be the important thing in the military or any job. Keep your private life private. No one said you have to stop believing your choices, just that we don't have to fake you are a woman. I respect my gay and trans family members. And if they wanted they could've petitioned to get their birth certificate changed.... this world is being torn apart by the loud left... and how dare anyone say anything against them.

Ah yes, the land of opportunity—where you're welcome to build billionaires' empires but not to seek a better life. Gotta love the irony of a government that cries about 'family values' while deporting people in shackles… all while the VP tucks in his half-Indian kids at night. And let’s not forget our dear overlord Elon, who’s all for importing talent when it boosts his stock price but totally fine with people getting kicked out if they’re not conveniently coding for him. The American Dream™—terms and conditions apply.

They stepped onto quicksand knowing fully well what could happen to them if they get sucked in. What they did brought them to this fate hence they are not right to complain but yes the Indian public who are seeing it happen have the right to raise their eye brows or frown upon those who hand cuffed & leg chained them during their entire journey. All I can say is that what happened is a Shame & we cannot blame the law nor the law makers nor who implement the law to be lenient to any one on the matter of their National Importance. All what we can do is submit a petition requesting for leniency for the next batches of returnees& May they never again break the law for personal gains nor to compromise the National security of any free country of this planet including The USA.

Who gives ? \nGet em out \n\nI'm noticing that there are some folks doing some serious whining about the Trump administration. So I thought I'd post some thoughts. \n\n1. Accept the fact that this is the leadership that we (the majority of) working, middle class Americans wanted. We are pulling the economic weight in this country and we are tired of pulling the weight of those that do not contribute.\n\n2. If you haven't already, get a job. Every business in the country is hiring. And you get paid for the work you do. And the harder you work and the more you learn, the faster you will advance, and the more you will earn. It's an amazing concept.\n\n3. Understand that if you are a U.S. Citizen, or have already started the legal process to become a U.S. Citizen that you are not going to get deported! I don't care what your favorite liberal media channel says.\n\n4. Tariffs are a bargaining chip. When you are in business you make deals, and sometimes you have to play hardball. That's how you get the deals you desire.\n\n5. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 protects you from discrimination by age, sex, race, etc. DEI openly violates this. Democrats want you to believe the opposite is true because they value your vote more than your quality of life.\n\n6. It's not the government's money, it's your money. You absolutely should give a damn about how it is spent.\n\n7. We are not the World Bank. If other countries need help they should raise their own finances. I don't recall receiving any hurricane relief money from India or China.\n\n8. Drill baby, drill. Want to know why? Because we have it. Are electric cars the future? Not in their current form. There is way more oil in the ground than lithium, and guess where most of that is? China. Want food prices to come down? Then energy costs have to come down. And that means oil, gas, coal, and nuclear. Unicorn farts and liberal tears won't power your car!\n\n9. The economy and the security of the country are far more important than your feelings, get over it.\n\n10. There are men and there are women. Simple as that.\n\n11. Education is to establish a learning core that prepares a child for the real, working world. Anything else is wrong.\n\n12. Donald J. Trump is the President of the United States and he won by a landslide — both the popular vote and the electorial vote. Get over it.

The only excuse to get into another country is when their motherland has war. It is sad to see this happening. This is why it is very important to have good leadership in every country . When your leaders failed to lead, that's what happened...

Why don’t the government look and see how many days a week how many years we work and so you know what let’s give this family since they’re not making as much as a rich family and let’s go to this upper class Rich family at work hard let’s give them a break where they need it see People can’t spend money or throw money at certain things and expect people to get by but if you wanna come somewhere, why do they do it like this because they see the blacks act crazy in America that’s why they thought they could come to America and do the same thing. It’s common damn sense manjust like a white collar criminal he’ll look in the face and tell you that there’s nothing he can do and there’s a lot he could’ve done and did and do.? but the problem is we need to stick together as people and not let our jobs dictate who we are and make us think we’re better than the average person that only makes $30,000 a year and can’t buy their children the nicest things that they would like because the most important thing to them is having a roof over their head and paying the bills and that’s what upsets me with people in this world they got all this help to fight drugs they got all in the world to fight this, but what about the little guy? What about the little woman the little family guy look out for them?? can’t just say oh here’s church food that shit ain’t good enough. I’m very thankful to the churches that help people with some of them food banks even a church knows it doesn’t help it gets them bye and if you think getting by is healthy when you can’t work a good day because your stomach‘s so low because your children are more important to eat than you? this is why America can’t take care of their own because they’re too busy taking care of the fake

This has nothing to do with the border….he’s grabbing money. While hurting the US people, he is ruining the US reputation. Get ready for your auto industry to shut down, no more energy or our critical minerals you need for your all important military! Get it??

Trump says EU tariffs will ‘definitely happen’ as Mexico, Canada and China retaliate \nTrump takes softer line on UK, saying ‘I think that one can be worked out’, while Mexico and Canada vow levies and to strengthen ties with each other \n \nPhilip Wen, Léonie Chao-Fong and agencies \nMon 3 Feb 2025 03.57 GMT \nShare \nDonald Trump has threatened to widen the scope of his trade tariffs, repeating his warning that the European Union – and potentially the UK – will face levies, even as he conceded that Americans could bear some of the economic brunt of a nascent global trade war. \n \nIt comes as Trump’s tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China, announced on Saturday, sparked retaliation from all three countries. Mexico and Canada have vowed levies of their own while China and Canada are seeking legal challenges. \n \nTrump said on Sunday night that new tariffs on the EU will “definitely happen”, repeating previous complaints about the large US trade deficit with the bloc and his desire for Europe to import more American cars and agricultural products. \n \nEmpty shelves remain with signs ''Buy Canadian Instead'' after the top five US liquor brands were removed from sale at a British Columbia liquor store in Vancouver. \nAsian sharemarkets tumble in response to Trump tariffs \nRead more \n“It will definitely happen with the European Union, I can tell you that,” he told reporters. “I wouldn’t say there’s a timeline but it’s going to be pretty soon.” \n \nTrump appeared to take a softer line on the UK, citing a good relationship with prime minister Keir Starmer while saying tariffs still “might happen”. “The UK is out of line but I’m sure that one, I think that one can be worked out,” he said. \n \n“Well Prime Minister Starmer’s been very nice, we’ve had a couple of meetings, we’ve had numerous phone calls, we’re getting along very well, we’ll see whether or not we can balance out our budget.” \n \nIn Canada, the department of finance published a list of US products imported into Canada that it will target with a 25% retaliatory tariff starting on Tuesday. \n \nThe list shows products that will be hit in the first round of retaliatory tariffs by Canada starting on Tuesday, and mounts to $30bn Canadian dollars’ worth of goods (about US$20bn). The impacted products include tobacco, produce, household appliances, firearms and military gear. \n \nCanada is also preparing for a second, broader round of retaliatory tariffs in 21 days that will target an additional C$125bn (US$86bn) worth of US imports. The second list would include passenger vehicles, trucks, steel and aluminum products, certain fruits and vegetables, beef, pork, dairy products and more. \n \nFILES-US-CANADA-MEXICO-CHINA-TRADE-TARIFFS<br>(FILES) US President Donald Trump speaks to the press after signing an executive order in the Oval Office of the White House in Washington, DC on January 31, 2025. Trump is imposing steep tariffs on major US trading partners Canada, Mexico and China, with a lower rate on Canadian energy imports, said the White House on February 1, 2025. Washington will impose a 25 percent levy on imports from Canada and Mexico, with a 10 percent rate on Canadian energy resources, until both work with the United States on drug trafficking and immigration. Goods from China, said the White House, would face 10 percent tariffs. (Photo by Mandel NGAN / AFP) (Photo by MANDEL NGAN/AFP via Getty Images) \nTop Democrats warn tariffs will hit Americans hard as Trump says it’s ‘worth the price’ \nRead more \nClaudia Sheinbaum, Mexico’s president, said her government will provide more details on the retaliatory tariffs she ordered on US goods on Monday. Sheinbaum, in a statement on Sunday, said she will announce details on her government’s “plan B” as she insisted that Mexico “doesn’t want confrontation”. \n \n“Problems are not addressed by imposing tariffs, but with talks and dialogue,” she said. “Sovereignty is not negotiable: coordination yes, subordination no.” \n \n'Coordination yes, subordination no': Mexican president responds to Trump's tariffs – video \nSheinbaum and Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau spoke by phone on Saturday after Trump’s administration imposed the new tariffs – 25% on goods from Canada and Mexico, with a lower rate of 10% for Canadian oil, and 10% on imports from China. \n \nTrudeau’s office said in a statement that Canada and Mexico agreed “to enhance the strong bilateral relations” between their countries. Canadian officials have had extensive dialogue with their Mexican counterparts, but a senior Canadian official said he would not go as far as to say the tariff responses were coordinated. \n \n“Now is the time to choose products made right here in Canada,” Trudeau posted Sunday on X. “Check the labels. Let’s do our part. Wherever we can, choose Canada.” \n \nTrump acknowledged the sweeping tariffs he has imposed on Mexico, Canada and China may cause “short term” pain for Americans as global markets reflected concerns the levies could undermine growth and reignite inflation. Asian markets, cryptocurrencies and US and European stock futures slumped in early Asian trading on Monday. \n \n“We may have short term some little pain, and people understand that. But long term, the United States has been ripped off by virtually every country in the world,” he said. day, Trudeau said: “We’re certainly not looking to escalate, but we will stand up for Canada.” However on Sunday evening, a senior government official from Canada briefing reporters in Ottowa on condition of anonymity said: “We will obviously pursue the legal recourse that we believe we have through the agreements that we share with the United States.” \n \nThe official said the Canadian government considered the move by Trump illegal and said it violates the trade commitments between the two countries under their free trade agreement and under the World Trade Organization. \n \n“If other legal avenues are available to us, they will be considered as well,” the official said. \n \nCanada is the largest export market for 36 states, and Mexico is the largest trading partner of the US. \n \nCanada and Mexico ordered the tariffs despite Trump’s further threat to increase the duties charged if retaliatory levies are placed on US goods. \n \nChina also said it would file a lawsuit against the tariffs. The imposition of tariffs by the US “seriously violates” World Trade Organization (WTO) rules, China’s commerce ministry said in a statement, urging the US to “engage in frank dialogue and strengthen cooperation”. \n \nFiling a lawsuit with the WTO would be a largely symbolic move that Beijing has also taken against tariffs on Chinese-made electric vehicles by the EU. \n \nThe commerce ministry also said the tariffs were “not only unhelpful in solving the US’s own problems, but also undermine normal economic and trade cooperation”. China has said it would take countermeasures to “safeguard its own rights and interests”. It is not clear exactly what form these will take yet. But for weeks Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning has said Beijing believes there is no winner in a trade war. \n \nLate Sunday night, Trump said he would speak with Trudeau on Monday morning and shortly after said he would speak with Mexico as well, although he did not specify that he would speak with Sheinbaum. \n \nBeyond the official response, people were already thinking of ways to cope with Trump’s decision, including by sharing suggestions on social media for alternatives to US products. \n \nCanadian hockey fans booed the US national anthem on Saturday night at two National Hockey League games. The booing continued on Sunday at an NBA game in Toronto where the Raptors played the Los Angeles Clippers. \n \nFrom left to right, Toronto Raptors forwards Bruce Brown, Scottie Barnes and Chris Boucher react as fans boo the United States national anthem before NBA basketball game action against the Los Angeles Clippers in Toronto, Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025. (Frank Gunn/The Canadian Press via AP) \nToronto Raptors fans boo US national anthem after Donald Trump tariffs \nRead more \nOne fan at the Raptors game chose to sit during the anthem while wearing a Canada hat. Joseph Chua, who works as an importer, said he expects to feel the tariffs “pretty directly”. “I’ve always stood during both anthems. I’ve taken my hat off to show respect to the American national anthem, but today we’re feeling a little bitter about things,” he said, adding that he will start to avoid buying US products. \n \nIn the streets, people in Mexico were trying to absorb the announcement on Sunday, although some in the capital acknowledged that they were unaware of the measures. \n \nIn the border city of Mexicali, across from Calexico, California, some people were concerned about the wider implications of a trade war. \n \nDriver Alejandro Acosta says that he crosses the border weekly in his truck to deliver vegetables to US companies. He said he fears US businesses in the Mexicali Valley will no longer want to operate in Mexico and they will move to the US. \n \n“If they raise taxes on the factories here, jobs may also decrease,” he said.

This will hurt them more than it will hurt the U.S. because those countries rely on U.S. imports to help sustain their economy. \n\nHere’s a list of countries and percentages of imports between them from 2023: \n\nU.S. -> Mexico = 15.6%\nMX -> U.S. = 43.9%\nU.S. -> Canada = 14%\nCanada -> U.S. = 77%\nU.S. -> China = 7.5%\nChina-> U.S. = 16.5 % \n\nAnd some of those imports we get from other countries are just oil, which is no longer the case since now we are going to drill our own oil. Hmm ? It’s as if they’re almost saying “Please make Canada and Mexico the 51st and 52nd state of the U.S. We don’t know how to run a country nor we don’t like our constituents.” ??

Like it or NOT, We ought LOTS to the Canadian and Mexican government. We have been eating a LOT of Good food that Gets imported from Mexico, and CANADA has helped Us in So MANY OTHER WAYS.

hahah. 25% on $1 billion in goods exported to canada, while 25% on %539 billion exported to the US. what a joke Canada is. It would be like telling Bill Gates he is getting a ticket for $1,000 for a parking violation. pointless and no effect. As for Mexico, they export to the US nearly 2x what they import from us, so they are still on the losing side. Just co-operate, simple. Borders should have been closed and monitored by all 3 countries in a co-ordinated effort to help all 3 countries.
2025-02-02 0
Why can't Canada put a double % on the US tariffs which makes from the US imported goods like cars so expensive that nobody will buy it. Yes it's a problem. Just buy those cars from Europe or Japan. There are also very great goods from Europe like the orange juice mentioned in the video. This is available in Europe and Northern Africa as well. Canada eh! Just switch the trading origins. Would be very nice to getting much closer to Canada and Mexico with the EU ?❤

Question... where does the tariff money go.. when the American importer pays 25% on top of the base costs for the good where does that 25% go? who gets it.
2025-02-02 0
Nobody can beat USA in a tariff war because we have the biggest trade deficit with everyone. Simply we import more than export.\n\nY'all just gonna unleash more tariffs upon yourselves by making Trump mad. \n\nFor us it's a win-win. Either we get a balanced trade deal ⚖️ or we start making our own products.
2025-02-02 0
So let me get this straight. Trudeau is imposing tariffs on the U.S. to make everything Canadians import from the U.S. that they need more expensive to Canadians and Trump is doing the same thing for everything from Canada though we need none of it and therefore will stop buying any of it. This will not go well for Canada. Ouch!!!

Both Mexico and Canada have fallen into Trumps trap, if you do not see it, let me explain. Trump has been pushing for more manufacturing at home, for more oil drilling and for more rare minerals mining. He can impose those tariffs and either Canada and Mexico agree, or the do exactly what they just did, think they can win a economic war with the United States. See, Trump gets what he wants either way, they don't cooperate, Trump gives huge tax incentives to companies to start producing here in the U.S. which will in turn reduce the price of everything for Americans, see, if you produce it here instead of overseas, Canada or Mexico, we can pish for a huge increase in overall production reducing the costs to consumers, since the products no longer have to be imported. Like i said, sometimes i don't think the left has any brains left.
2025-02-01 0
For the vast majority of Americans, including Trump who don't know this: \n- 90% of all aluminum used in the USA comes from Canada. \n- 80% of the potash used to grow food on US farms comes from Canada. \n- Steel is made in Canada. - Uranium is exported from Canada. \n- Minerals needed for electronics are exported from Canada. The only alternatives are China and Russia. \n- 60% of all imported oil in the US comes from Canada. \n- Electricity produced in Canada is delivered to the states of New York, Vermont, Maine and over 20 other US states. We’ll soon find out if convicted felon Trump and his supporters need Canada when that electricity gets turned off. If Trump can rip our mutually-negotiated agreements so can Canada. We did not ask for this economic war nor did we start it. Trump did. \n \nIt's also time to super-tax every pound of US coal being exported through Roberts Bank Super-port in Delta, British Columbia, Canada. The American coal exported through Roberts Bank does not even pay a provincial carbon tax like all BC residents pay. Canadians are about to show Trump what happens when you consistently lie and stab your best customer and neighbour in the back. We are not afraid of Trump. Canada is the second-largest country in the world by land area and we have the longest coastline in the world, with over 243,000 kilometers of shoreline. We will continue expanding our trade with Pacific Rim countries, Europe, Mexico and beyond. They all need and want our lumber, minerals, oil and gas, grass fed beef, and the dependable, respectful trading partner that we are.

I have lived in the UAE, and with respect to Indians, thus some indians have adopted a more compatible lifestyle and took an important place in the recipient country, 80% didn't. Countries tend to get rid of this inefficient part of the Indian immigrants

Why do a piece like this when it is clearly obvious when you interview actual servicemembers past and present about the importance of military camaraderie and mental fitness. If somebody is confused about their sex or gender, that is a mental illness which excludes such people from serving in the United States military branches. CNN gets it wrong, on the wrong side of history even after such extreme ratings losses and audience. Kaitlin is not helping AT ALL.

We each have our little flickers of time here... No one else will ever know much, if any, of what it is like to be who we are, and for the most part no one will ever really care. Our life is ultimately our life, and so long as we are not harming others in the process we must create a life of our own meaning, determining our own objects of importance and committing to their pursuance. Throughout our life we are faced with serious decisions about what we believe, who we are, and what we do, and mostly none of it is self evident. If we look we can always find a reason to regret any decision we make, move or stay, agree or disagree, take the job or quit, marry or divorce, live one path or another... In all cases whatever the choice may be, we will only know the outcome of the one we take, and none we take will ever ultimately resolve the uncertainty of life. However, perhaps it is less about getting a potential course of life right, and more about attempting to do so with an effort of self honesty and virtue. To live a life that can be looked back on with the knowledge that some of our decisions were wrong in their effects, but right in their intention of not selling ourselves short. Ultimately no matter what we do or say or believe, there will always be a great many who disagree, or judge, or become upset by our decisions. It is of essential importance that we ensure that among those people, we are not one of them.

Anyone who’s been in the military knows that military readiness is extremely important and is taken very seriously. Serviceman can’t deploy if their dental is overdue. Meanwhile, Steve I mean Sarah is getting hormone injections and then getting sent off to fly a military jet ?‍♂️

Knee surgery comparison is a poor comparison. You chose self inflicted medical down time. The individual requiring knee surgery did not. You took down time because changing your gender identity was something you felt you needed, which isn't putting the service of your country first. I don't choose myself over my people - period. I don't believe that is the merit of a good leader. I don't believe the excellence in your skill set comes from an inability to establish personally what gender you want to be. Results in combat and protecting what's right in the air and on the battlefield have little to do with wanting to be a woman or a man. Get the job done, be a silent operator. It seems to me, that you care more about your gender than you do about your service to your country. I hope in the end, you get everything your heart desires. I truly do. But I hope you recognise that the world isn't fair. I don't think this piece by CNN is more important than covering what's going on in the lives of those suffering that need the air time more than this individual. Further more, the reporter - she just looks like an angry woman who isn't getting what she wants. She doesn't appear to be unbiased at all. It's not a good reflection for the CNN. I think fair reporting is fair, I also believe one should come across as unbiased when reporting fairly, here the reporter has failed to do so in my opinion. Out

What does it matter what megalomaniacs Agressors greedy gone awry do? Get your facts straight, Colombia President accepted their illegal migrants. In a matter of a few hours. Not only that, the Colombian President even offered Trump his own plane to come and pick these illegals up. If you are going to report news get all the facts straight! No wonder you are losing viewers and 90 percent of Americans don’t use this channel as their source of information. You purposely leave out important information to create rhetoric and upset the other 10 percent that unfortunately still watches your fake news.

I think Indian govt's stance is best in this case.\n'Give us a list of our people you want to deport, give us proofs why you think they are illegals, and we will arrange for the planes ourselves, no questions asked. You won't even have to bother about transporting them, just bring them to the air port, we will fly them back.'.\n\n\nAnyways Indian govt had been warning Canada about this migration for past 8 years. Literally imploring them to not take these guys in. They aren't running away from persecution, they are running away from prosecution. But sadly Canada became a safe haven for criminals in India to run and hide into. Now don't blame India or Indians for it. We warned you, we had a spat with you. You lectured us how free and democratic you are and how your doors are open to all. NOW SUFFER.\n\nFor the Americans.....i don't feel a thing. They are mostly racists bunch (liberals more than conservatives, but yeah 99 percent of them are pure vile racists). I enjoy watching their country undergoing a very slow implosion right Infront of our very eyes. Trump is a good and capable leader. But what can he really do? His main voter base (which actually did not matter in the elections, it was the minority votes which tilted the scales) is simply uneducated, uninformed, racists. I don't know if they are inherently racist or that racism is born out of ignorance to begin with. But it is what it is. And the othtrr side is loony. ?. You have hate filled racists on one side and crazies on another. That country is destined to be doomed. I hardly find any centrist sane individual who can actually get over the superficial racial or identity stuff and actually talk policies in depth. Both sides are like... For us or against us. What can Trump even do with such population base. They have to import people to keep their quality on top... Else they are done for within next 200 - 250 years.

Read this American Trump is destroying your Contry if not he gets remove\n\nExplanation of Article 5\nArticle 5 of the NATO treaty is the cornerstone of the alliance's collective defense principle. It states that an attack on one NATO member is considered an attack on all members. This mutual defense clause has been invoked only once—after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States.\n\nThe United States is bound by Article 5, meaning it cannot disregard its obligations to other NATO members, such as Denmark. The principle ensures that all members protect and support each other, creating collective security.\n\nWho Pays for Tariffs?\nA tariff is a tax or duty imposed on imported goods. There’s often confusion about who ultimately pays for tariffs. Here are the key points:\n\nImporters Pay Tariffs: When goods cross a border, the importer in the receiving country is charged the tariff.\nHigher Prices for Consumers: Importers typically pass these costs to consumers, making goods more expensive in the country imposing the tariffs.\nImpact on Competitiveness: While tariffs can make domestic goods more competitive, they often harm the economy by reducing trade and innovation.\nFor example, if the U.S. imposes high tariffs on European goods, American consumers and businesses bear the cost through higher prices, not European producers.\n\nTrade and Alliances\nThe text highlights the interconnectedness of trade policy and diplomacy. Harmful trade policies, such as aggressive tariffs, can damage relationships with long-standing allies like Denmark and the EU. If the U.S. alienates its allies, it risks losing the strategic partnerships and security benefits provided by NATO and other agreements.\n\nDenmark and other EU countries offer trade opportunities but expect respect and cooperation in return. Breaking ties with the EU or NATO could leave the U.S. isolated and weaken its global influence.\n\nConclusion\nArticle 5 ensures mutual security within NATO, including for the U.S.\nTariffs often hurt the country imposing them, as costs are passed to domestic consumers.\nStrong alliances are critical for both trade and security. Conflicts with EU or NATO countries could isolate the U.S. and undermine its global partnerships.

Quick, Americans should stock up on coffee from Colombia ($1.5 Billion); cut flowers, bulbs, live trees ($1.6 Billion); mineral fuels, oil, distillation products ($7.2 Billion); pearls, precious stones, metals, coins ($1.9 Billion); and another 100+ products that make up another $10 to $12 Billion of annual imports. So, 50% tariffs on the total imports with Columbia would mean American importers of these goods would pay an additional $10 Billion which...of course...adds to their 'landed cost of goods' and gets passed on to guess who? The end consumer.

Why the HELL is TRump allowed to get away with this time after time! Colombia needs to import to other countries. Don't do business with Nazi America.

Yesterday Trump worked to get you $5 tomatoes. 75% of farmworkers didn't show up to harvest food that stupid conservatives eat. These are stupid people. How 48 coffees are withing sight. If you were in Europe you can import the coffee that would have gone to the US. Each days more people hate America. Soon, China will control Latin America.

In my humble opinion, why not all countries must unite not to import their products to USA unti trump presidency end. Let’s see where trump gonna get all those products they really needed???

This is too funny ?. Just keep issuing even more tariffs is only going to come back to bite us in the butt to us consumers. We get a lot of imported goods from other countries, the costs for us to purchase everyday things you enjoy is going to go up as well. I don’t understand how people don’t understand that.

According to the NYT and Washington Post, Trump's punishment is much more drastic than this CNN video protrays due to the nature of Colombian economy and exports. Colombia is gonna get crushed if this continues. \n\nColombia is nuts for taking on Trump, what did they think Trump was gonna do to them? Flowers and food can be easily imported from other countries. And Trump loves to make an example out of people.

LMAO what a clown. Get ready for more expensive coffee and anything else coming from Colombia.\nRemember, Columbia does not pay the tariff, WE DO. Every product that Americans use that contains\ncaffeine will now go up in price so that importers can recoup the tariff the AMERICAN company had\nto pay to import it. So, your Starbucks coffee will go up, ground coffee, instant coffee, energy drinks, etc.\nwill ALL GO UP IN PRICE.\n\nThe Orange Traitor sticking it to Americans once again. He grifted off of MAGA for years and they\nvoted him back in. He's constantly signing illegal and unconstitutional executive orders, all of which\nare or will be challenged in court. And now he begins his dumbass tariff wars to skyrocket prices and\ninflation in THIS country.\n\nHey MAGA, when are you going to figure out this criminal president doesn't give a f*** about you. He \ndoesn't need your vote anymore, and he's a lame duck president. He's gone insane trying to use \nbully tactics to enact his racist immigration ideas. He's destroying the immigrant workforce in \nAmerica. Gas prices up, food prices up. Inflation up already. Violence up already. THIS is what you\nvoted for.

Which dumb ass doesn't realize that the end consumer is the one who eventually has to pay the tariffs, not the country where the goods are being imported from because it will get added into the cost of importing and down to consumers.

People in these comments are on some serious copium. Y’all actin like coffee prices are gonna be a big problem because you have nothing negative to say about what Trump did. Like y’all give a shit when you go to Starbucks and spend $8 on a coffee already, or is it more? This hurts then more than it would hurt us btw, that’s why they folded so easily. Trump knew they would fold easily. Btw we can get coffee somewhere else if you truly need coffee to love you can probably drink espresso too. I buy a brand imported from Italy

No offense, since I don’t know if you guys drink coffee or not, but You do realize other countries export to the US. Have never heard of Guatemalan, Brazil, Peru, Marrocan, Ethiopia, Belgium, Costa Rican coffee? Arab countries etc. They all make great coffee. Coffee is not only from Colombia. There’s so various countries producing great coffee .\n\nThey all export coffee to the US. Unless you ONLY like Colombian coffee this shouldn’t be a problem. I’m sure this benefits other countries to expand. Each with distinct flavors and aromas. \n\nStarbucks imports coffee from over 30 different countries from Latin America, Africa, Middle East. \n\nIt’s like if Trump puts a 25% tariff on French wine. I love my French wine and it would suck. But I still love my Italian and Washington State wine.\n\nBananas like mention also come from other countries as well like Guatemala, Costa Rica, Honduras etc. \nBasically other countries exist that benefit from this. The only problem I could see is they can’t produce enough . Which I doubt. And I’m sure African countries or other countries can under cut prices if others try to inflate prices just to get market share in the US. \n\nAlthough, coffee prices are not only determined by supply and demand. Country of origin and brand also plays a role. Like I said it’s like wine. I love my cheap Washington State Merlots and my Italian Chianti, but people still buy over price California and French wine .

But.... did the price of eggs and gas go down?\nAll those who voted for this, get ready to pay more for food\nI had to school someone about Tariffs today ? \n\nTrump’s tariffs could tank the economy...\nThough Trump inherits a strong economy and low inflation, he’s proposed a 10 to 20 or even more \n tariff on all imports, and a 60 percent tariff on all imports from China. The Budget Lab at Yale estimates that this policy alone could raise consumer prices by as much as 5.1 percent and could diminish US economic growth by up to 1.4 percent. An analysis by the think tank Peterson Institute for International Economics, finds that Trump’s tariffs, when combined with some of his other proposals such as mass deportation, would lead to inflation rising between 6 and 9.3 percent.

Just be aware, tariffs only hurt importers in the country that's utilizing them against another country. Meaning the US is going to get hurt by this along with Colombia. Importers take the hit and then they drive up the price on goods coming in. Meaning inflation increases even more. He's going to wreck the economy if he continues throwing out tariffs like candy. Colombia is likely going to join BRICS from this and will trade primarily with China.

No dude, our regulations on food in Canada are FAR better than yours. You might have the highest quality health care for your rich people but there's a reason we fought hard to keep your milk out of here, and our meat is far better too, which is why you import it. Oh wait, you won't get our quality inspected beef anymore. Boohoo.

Trump said Spain is a Brics nation xD. So Spain will get 100% import taxes just because he was too lazy to open google ;)

Palki, weren't you some time ago, wearing your yellow saree, in the UK parliament, waxing eloquently about the importance of Indian passport. Now doing this bit saying Indians are not getting visas.\n\nSuch a joke you are. \n\nWhat did you smoke that day??

The best way is TO GET TO FOREIGN countries is official and diplomatic passport because importantly by holding diplomatic and official passport one can freely stay in abroad without fear of deportation and that's why I'm trying to get official and diplomatic passport through upsc exam.
