Trump is a horrible, horrible human. I am devastated over what he is doing. I've never once given Trump my vote and I'm not a lefty liberal. I knew if he was voted in he was going to cause world wide chaos. He has shown his character over and over and over...yet a large portion of American's just ignored it. This election wasn't about republicans or democrats or independents. This election was about humanity and global security. American's ignored the writing on the wall for their own singular wants/opinions. They stand with their Trump flags but only a few of them can actually explain any accurate information about his policy or legal issues and they condone his behavior. The majority of Trumpers claim to be 'Christians'. Christians voting for a man who is a bully, abuser, liar, predator, monger of power, impedes freedom of press and speech and aligns himself with a dictator. He pardoned violent offenders and called them patriotic, spouts false information, obstructs investigations, has numerous felony charges against him and has now made enemies with our allies. Shall I go on? That's not Christian. Even if you aren't Christian...that's not what America stands for. All for what...eggs? Guns? Cheaper groceries? Or because your need for hating a small group of people out weighs global peace. Or is it because you are so short sighted that you can't even see the valuable contribution that non American born people provide this country. Yes, Biden fell asleep at the wheel. Yet many of you still believed the better choice was a psychopath. This election was important. We failed as a country by putting this man in office. No matter what party you align with, we failed. Yes, I want cheaper eggs. Yes, I really need cheaper groceries. But not over the safety of the globe. Not over the lives of the people and children being killed in an unprovoked war. I see this as nothing less than Trump wanting to do to Canada a slightly more palatable version of what Putin is doing to Ukraine. Trump has openly said he wants Canada to become the 51st state, even though this is a huge ask as Canada has a population larger than any US state (California is close in population size), Canada has a land mass nearly the size of the US and, including water mass, Canada has a larger overall area than the US. When will Canada learn that Trump wants to annex Canada by destroying it. Americans asked for this and it is up to them to fix it

Ask your self why we give money away to foreign countries while others give money as a loan. The world needs the USA. Canada can’t protect Ukraine, Germany,can’t do it. So who will? If our allies think they can do it better then bring our troops home. Watch what happens to their economies. Let their sons and daughters be the first to go in. Let us play a support role. We used to be the police of the world now they want us to be the bank and the police of the world enough is enough.And I’m a veteran as well.

Isolationist America. No one will want to deal with the USA now. When Saddam invaded Kuwait, and the USA needed to go in a retake the oil ports, the USA didnt want to upset the Arabs, so needed a coalition, so asked NATO and other countries to help, I dont remember NATO sending a bill, or asking USA to sign over mineral rights. I also remember USA talking Ukraine into handing over their nuclear weapons to Russia, in exchange for protection, wow so much for that promise. If the USA is stuck for money, why dont they go back to Iraq, and take back the 80 billion dollars worth of equipment they just left on the tarmac when they ran away in the middle of the night.

i am Canadian.....\n\ni am embarrassed by trump and feel for my American brothers..... i want to know what the end game is for trump - if he feels he gonna bully Canada or other nations he has grossly underestimated those that have supported the US through thick and thin...\n\nif his end game is under cutting NATO - he should review history and realize that the only country that ever requested helps officially under NATO was the US which we in Canada offered no questions asked...\n\nall i say to my Amercian brothers, his term is only 4yrs - we will welcome you back into the fold when this nonsense with Trump is over... I just hope that my politicians dont cause any nonsense and toe the line in being professional...
