As someone born and living in Canada I'd love to live in Singapore. I'd pay a premium to live in a country where the government was run by serious people and there weren't deranged homeless people everywhere, there was law and order, pro capitalist laws, etc. Housing and living expenses are awful in Canada, but I'd honestly be fine with that if I thought it was worth living here, or I saw a future in this country. I'm not criticizing you for moving to Canada though. If you like it here I think that's great.

What a great way to dodge the question. Yes, he's correct to some extent but there are DEFINITELY tons of Palestinians who would love to leave and join a different Arab nation. The reality is that the Arab world simply finds it easier to talk the talk. They don't want these refugees. If he was being honest he would allow the Palestinians to decide for themselves if they'd prefer to leave or stay but of course that isn't an option. Why don't they temporarily host Palestinians until the war is over?

Muslims don’t see the part they play In alienating people. Saying all these programmed phrases like alhamdulilah and the whole litany makes you sound like automatons who don’t think for yourselves. If it’s so important to you, you can be Muslim in your heart. You don’t need to be “visible Muslims“. People who love God don’t have to constantly say “praise God”. It begins to seem like an affectation and a way of making yourselves stand out. “Look at us. We are special. We are Muslims.“ If you live in a society where that is the social norm OK go for it, but that’s not the case in Canada. I’m sure you know how much Muslims have been involved in terrorism. That’s not Islamophobia. That is fact. So, that is a big part of people’s reaction to “visible Muslims“. \nThe Muslim community needs to do some serious ijtihad. I’m talking about real introspection where you honestly look at yourselves and your community. Islam is In desperate need of reform. You should be at the forefront of that, but instead you are just playing out the old program which has failed in every Muslim country. First and foremost, you are human beings. The originators of Islam had their own lives, and they created what they did. You don’t have to mimic them. Live your own lives.

I totally agree that this country will break your spine and test your ultimate willpower. Me and my wife came here 5 years back and we decided that we will shut ourselves like a tortoise. Forget about savings and forget about everything else. Only and only one goal we had in mind is that we will live in the basement and earn top dollars. Just to give you a perspective. My first pay was 19 dollar per hour and my current pay is 87 per hour. My wife started with 16.5 per hour and now earning 69 per hour. Even though our income grew substantially, we never raised our expenses. Answer to all problems in Canada is income. Now after 5 years we bought house worth of 1.4 M. We moved out of basement and felt immense pride. We paid 37% down payment and 3 banks approved our mortgages in a heartbeat. No debt at all. We paid up our car in full. Just a regular new suv nothing fancy. \nEveryone is different, we all are unique and I believe you took a right decision. Each and every word you said in the video is true. \nWe cried , we fought , we felt that our life is ruined but we both thought that ek bar to Canada ko harana hai. Same thing in California, a lot more people moving out than move in. Population decrease. I think the main reason is a lot of bad policies from government. Not only high tax or homeless problem. I visited Quebec City and Montreal in 2009 for 2 weeks. It was absolutely lovely. I visited the same cities last September, my romantic notion dissipated. Especially Montreal, so many homeless looking young people on skateboards. I don’t think it’s trendy to wear baggy all black that reeked of BO. Price tag for everything is high, higher than my Los Angeles suburb to be honest. Most ppl are just making ok income, not high earning top tier professionals. How do ppl keep a roof and food on table? Plus transportation and insurance.

Great video, candid and honest appraisal of the current situation in Canada. We moved to Canada from the UK 20 years ago and initially we loved every minute. But the slow spiral into the hell hole since Trudeau took power has totally changed our opinion of Canada. We have now retired and spend winter in the USA and considering leaving if Trudeau gets re-elected next time around. Same reasons why I left Canada. It’s my first year in Kuwait (expat teacher) and honestly I’m loving it here. My husband and children are also with me and they love it here too. As we speak, the athan just began and it is such a blessing that we are missing in Canada. The weather feels like spring here and the sun is out almost every single day. May Allah swt choose what is best for you?

I honestly love the decision which you both have made, I was born in Qatar and I’ve been living here since that. Honestly it’s such a beautiful and wonderful Islamic country, you might’ve heard about it during the FIFA 2022 time and how a lot of foreigners have converted to Islam over here, Alhumma barik. I suggest you to come here once for a trip for sometime so you’d see how nice it is here. There is Asian Cup 2024 held here next month, try coming In Shaa Allah you’ll love it!

As a native Canadian I totally understand your stand on winter and inflation. As a native Canadian I think we don't inform immigrants and outsiders that winter climate does to alot of people. There is a seasonal affective disorder (very prevelent) in my father's family and even my mother unfailing optimism get's like you fatigue at the very least. Kids love winter but yes as a adult or even a teen many people retreat and feel isolated. As for inflation, I do hope you find a country where the gouvernement(s) aren't denying the insanity that is going on. To be honest, after centuries of being a Quebec native, I have fantasized very heavily about moving myself because even with a good salary things each year since Covid-19 have become just terribly expensive and it affect primarily basic shelter and food needs. It makes perfect sense to want to get away from the things you've mentioned. The world is not the same as it was even 10 years ago. That's the last time I visited home. (Abbotsford, BC) I've lived in the States for many years now and boy was I shocked how things have changed here in Canada. I realize you and your family don't use Bible, but just to give you a biblical perspective on things that very well may parallel scripture from the Quran, at 2 Timothy 3:1-5 it says... 1 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having an appearance of godliness but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. \nYou may be able to get away from the moral decline of where you live now, but honestly, these things are going to be world wide eventually if they aren't already. But there will be a time when God (for me his name is Jehovah), will step in and fix things. In the meantime, It's awesome you are putting your family first. It's sad that that is not the norm anymore.

Nice and well thought out video. Even though I don't agree with everything, you said it in a considerate way and shared your honest experience. It was just unfortunate that you did not get enough time to settle down. Moving to any new place is extremely tough and especially when you are moving to a completely new city. I live in Germany and I love it here. My wife and I came here to study, but my wife came first and she had a really bad first 6 months in winter. Things got much better later. We Indians miss house help so much in early days, but the fact is you have so much free time here and things are well organized. You don't waste time in traffic, you don't have to go 10 times to a government office to get work done, you don't have to sit with kids everyday to do homework, kids can come and go to school on their own, there is little dust so houses don't get dirty every day, everything is planned and no one is visiting your house suddenly. So in reality, doing the house chores aren't such a big deal because you have a lot of time.

I love Canada and I love the fact its mixing so many cultures in together, but we just can't keep up at the current pace. Another thing lots of people have an issue with is the lack of diversity in the immigrants. Our services and lifestyles are being strained to the point where people are getting sick of it, put a cap on each country and only allow that cap to be broken for asylum seekers/refugees. This isn't a cultural/race issue either and people who say this shouldn't be called racist, I mean its honestly insane to call it racist when the very immigrants you bring in are making the same points.

Canada is for those people who are willing to gap the bridge between eastern and western cultures. In Canada if someone is willing to give 100% effort for about 3 to 4 years, personal growth is amazing. You are very honest about the information you have provided in this video. To be honest, i have second thought as well of leaving Canada... i love Canada but i find it so hard to live.. not jist extremely cold weather during winter but you have to chase your hobbies as well and the way of living here is supee high... I am an islander..i came from a beautiful tropical island..and I really miss home so much..white sand beach, tuquoise water, whale watching,dolphin watching,island hopping,scubba diving, free diving , mountain hiking, and more... i really miss it..i am planning to settle my retirement back home...

It’s been 5 years for me here and I honestly can say I have achieved nothing in my life yet. It scares me when I think I can’t return whatever my parents had invested in me. The fact is you’ll never have a good paying job in Canada being an immigrant. When I say this trust me I mean it. Most you’ll get is a minimum wage job which can make you survive the life here. Taxes are high definitely and what I feel is you’re working to make someone else’s life easier. \n(P.S: people who’ve stayed in Canada will understand who I’m implying to)\nNo one wants to be your freind, scope of socializing is zero coz mostly it’s cold round the year so everyone hardly come out, especially in Northern provinces like Yukon, Saskatchewan, Manitoba.\nHealthcare is a joke. If you feel sick and not well and you wanna see a doctor be prepared to wait for hours and hours. I once had stomach infection and I had to wait 5 hours till someone could see me. I asked for painkiller at-least so I could bear the pain but they refused that as well. You might well see someone you love dearly and with whole heart die in-front of you and you could do nothing. (I’ve experienced it myself hence saying)\nYou’re a lone survivor who’ll always keep fighting. \nThe only person who can make money here is businesses and high paid jobs which are reserved to Canadians. That’s how Canada’s job market is. Canadians’ first and if there’s something left they’ll look at you. By the amount of money people invest here they can establish a nice business back in their country itself and earn accordingly on own terms. \nMost importantly you’ll cut yourself from all emotional supports like family, freinds etc.\nI was social person back in India who liked making new freinds and memories but it’s nothing like that here. \nAnd it’s the same life, no different.\nYou wake up, dress, eat, go to work, come back, eat, sleep. No different.\nNo fun and nothing. You actually don’t live in present, you live in an expectation of a better tommorow.\nYou’ll always have a smile when you greet someone but I guarantee you no one’s gonna check on you to if you don’t start a conversation even with a simple “Hi”. Mostly Canadians are nice but again some will systematically judge you and say nothing but you’ll see in their actions, the way they’ll talk in a twisted way etc.\nYes I’m not saying that Canada’s bad or it’s no good but trust me it will take forever to build a life here especially with the number of people moving here from round the world. \nIf you’re well off financially from back home Canada’s a paradise for you. Indeed it’s a beautiful country with lots of beauty and lots to explore but remember everything comes with a cost here. Everything comes with a cost. People need to stop believing in this fake illusion and come only if they got a purpose here. The only reason why they’ll let you in the country is for money and once you’re in you’ll have to keep spending, doesn’t matter if you’re broke or whatever you have to.\nOnce I earn I’ll happily give up my PR status and go back to India as i very well know what the situation is how it’s gonna be in future.\nSo just one piece of advise to every middle class person like me, guys please invest and spend your money wisely coz we know how hard it is to earn and it’s high time Canadians start appreciating what immigrants like us do for them by burning ourselves day and night and start realizing that their past generation once came from some other part of the world as well and settled here. Being white doesn’t make you a nice Canadian, you’re actions defines you more than your words. \n90% of this country is built by immigrants and that’s how it’s gonna develop in future, so if they keep treating us the same way good luck to them ?.\nAlso a plus note to anyone thinking that Asians are stealing your jobs, go get outside and have the balls to face them and take it away from them. Staying home and ranting and abusing us that we’re taking your opportunities and blah blah isn’t gonna work. We are so successful round the world because we are hardworking, honest and respectful to everyone. Even if we’re earning minimum and barely surviving here we always make sure we’re not burden on the government or anyone else and won’t keep crying.\n\nA big shoutout to all you guys who came here in the hope of a better future but are still struggling.\nKeep hustling and you’ll reach there, if not step down and go back and start your life again on your home soil. I'm leaving next year as well. I've been in Canada for 5 years now and I love Canada.\nBut practically i don't think i can ever buy a house here and start a family. I'm 24 and i came here when i was 19. But looking at the way things are changing in Canada, the amount of tax burden it puts on honest tax payers because of illetrate immigrants from some parts of the world, refugees and people who don't wanna work is astonishing.\n\nMoreover Trudeau keeps giving away the money which is ours and keeps feeding others. Hence I've had enough. Canadians are nice but the government and some sections of society especially some Punjabi's are way too much for me to handle now. Canada isn't Canada anymore. Hey, be negative. I hate the positivity cult. Be honest. The world is falling apart. Let's not mince words. This is a global crisis. America has been crap for a long time, but it's sad to see Canada now going through the same, and deteriorating. Such a beautiful country. I remember being there years ago, and the energy was so much lighter, uplifting, and I always loved this about Canada in general. It was always the nicer bit of N. America....but now it's much like what the USA is experiencing with insane prices, housing crisis, drugs, crime, homelessness, etc. I don't feel this will get better anytime soon. I think we need to demand some serious changes, and they need to start with forcing down the costs of living, whether they like it or not. It's a giant scam. Anyone who knows what is really going on, and why, knows that it's not even 'the market', but it's predatory price gouging. People are charging high prices because they can, not because it's actually worth that. And no one is stopping them. Same with food, and everything else.

As an international student who works at 3 jobs almost 7 days a week to pay my college and rent… I can only afford a small room with a sharing washroom with 4 others. Life here so difficult and it’s very exhausting. Canada should stop advertising itself as a country of opportunities and easier life. It’s much harder than back home if we talking honestly. \nDon’t get me wrong I love a lot of things about this beautiful country, but life is way too short to work at 3 jobs to pay rent and fees until I die. ?

To Everyone bad mouthing Toronto I got a few thoughts to share. First off I’ve lived in Edmonton all my life. But growing up there were two constants in my life almost every summer. 2 places where I could get away have fun not come back for weeks or even months on end. One of them was Toronto . That trend has continued into my 40s.\nSecond I don’t consider Edmonton home. I consider Toronto and my other favourite place my homes always have always will.\nThird Toronto like Every other city has bad and great things about it. But the great things far outweigh the bad things. Yes Toronto is big. But it’s also beautiful vibrant majestic lovely a sight to behold once you visited it long enough. You got the blue jays you got the cn tower you got a lot of stuff no other city has. Toronto is my dream city. It’s where dreams can actually turn into big dreams That result in major success. Toronto is for me. I love it I always will and to be honest it’s way better than Edmonton.❤️❤️❤️????.

I live in Brampton Ontario Canada and I second everything Mr. Ashir Azeeem has said. He is an honest man and doing all this voluntarily for the community. I love the idea he is working on creating a community app that is badly needed here as we as a community are weak and we do not have a one voice. As an Australian in his 50’s, I grew up idolising the US. I’ve been there a few times and loved it and have some close friends in the US. \n\nBUT…. I have been following US politics closely and I have absolutely no interest in even visiting there again. My friends are actually planning to move away as soon as possible. \n\nIt really saddens me to be honest.

I am from Quebec City and I love my country ! Honestly, the only place I could possibly consider to move (in the US) for my retirement is Honolulu. Hawaii was one of the best experience of my life and one of my favorite place in the world. Yes it's the US but it's also a country of it's own. The people there are the friendliest people I have ever met in all my travels. In short, Hawaii is the only state I would consider to move and it would surely be a place where I would have a foothold to live there for a few months a year during my retirement... Tyler, I can see you are sadden by these reactions and I feel for you. Honestly, I love the USA and I would actually live there in a heartbeat for all the positive reasons I know and love about the US. However, as Mom and a soon to be school age child, I would hesitate because of that. Canada has its own issues and don’t let everyone fool you. It’s not some social utopia. We have problems too just different. It’s like you said you need to pick a good, safe safe to live in. The same advise applies to Canada. Also, Reddit is full of your not so typical Canadians so take with a grain of salt ?

@Tyler Bucket I've been to the US many time, and there are some very beautiful places there. I've found the people to be kind, warm and welcoming and I love visiting. If I had to move to the US I have a list of favorite places, but honestly, I love living in Canada and being Canadian. The US would be a good alternate, but unless somethin catastrophic happened here, I can't see my self living in the US.

Not to be impolite, but honestly no, I would not consider moving to the US for all the same reasons already mentioned, especially the political shenanigans. ( I live in Montreal), That said, I love watching your videos Tyler. You are very open to the world.

Canadian here.\nVisit the USA, sure I have several times. I have met some lovely people and seen some beautiful things. My family is going to Flordia soon and we are really looking forward to it, even though we disagree with the governor and don't really want to support the state that supports him. \n\nMove there, HELL NO. Is Canada's politics perfect, no, but I honestly do feel like we have more say in our government and more choice.\n\n Over the last few the loss of woman's rights in the US is horrifying. I am not a breed mare I should have the choice if I want to have the child or not. \n\nLGBTQIA+ rights have also taken a nasty turn in the US.\n\nYou have had more mass shootings than days of the year this year, that's terrifying. We've had 2 this year and both of them have happened in the last month. I believe its been over a decade since out last school shooting.

I've been a caregiver for over 40 years and I just love it, but recently, I've been seeing a few people, including the HR Department and the people who hired me, try to surprise me bye popping up and the client was very upset because they didn't want to listen to her and a employee that was working with me,I wasn't aware of the problem situation that was going on, so basically I was set up with them saying that I wasn't taking care of the client honestly the client told them I've been helping them the most the employee said that I wasn't changing the client,,and I noticed that the trash Bin was being opened and I bought it attention to the client and she said be careful with the company and the co-worker that is working with us is lying on. Me and I brought it up to my supervisor and then she said that someone had said that I wasn't changing her underwear and she the client said that she would let the boss know but she came back from told me that I wasn't able to continue to work for them and I asked them why they said someone was coming from Africa to join their company and I Said that I'm not going to signing anything that is a lie ...
