But in all reality a lot of this is more politics, business. If the government supplied affordable housing (apartments with 1000 units at affordable rates with a low/medium standard) and a person had the choice to rent from subsidized program or an investors condo (mid/high standard), than investors renting their units would have a base rental price to compete with, giving the government control (hopefully in the interest to the majority). As someone who lived in Quebec for 8 years, I can say that Canada has an undeservedly good image abroad. It's a trap for immigrants, where they suck out all their savings and energy. In reality, it's not even a state, it's a corporation where monopolies and associated corrupt politicians rule the roost. Lack of preventive healthcare, huge taxes, unbelievably high prices compared to incomes for everything from food to housing, outdated infrastructure... I hope to find the ways to leave here soon.

The government should be very clear to immigrants. Canada doesn't need workers in the Professions. Canada needs janitors and donut servers willing to live with two other families in a 2 bedroom condo or we need the rich to fleece off of. Just go onto indeed leave the key word blank and set the location as Vancouver. Most jobs you'll find pay 45-50 k or demand experience so specific no immigrant and most residents can't hope to qualify. Canada has a labour shortage the same way it has a shortage of 40k Porches.

Your in luck if people think they'll have everything by moving to another country as everywhere seems to be quite similar the only reason I agree you should leave is that Canada is not an Islamic nation so I hope you understand this where as many Islamic nations you wouldn't get a choice ?

We had to move out from Brampton bc it become terrible place to live. 3000 sq ft beautiful homes in nice subdivision. House next to us, 4 families in one house crowded like rats. Indian music playing laud in garage on Sundays. About 15 kids seating on top of 6 ft fence staring in our backyard. Couldn’t enjoy life anymore. Crime start to spike. Today people blame on Liberals, however that was during Conservative government of Brian Mulroney. Those immigrants destroy city. I hope they all leave Canada.

I'm a Brit who has lived here 13 years and my advice to any Brit thinking of moving here is not to. If you can live in a nice county and you have a decent job you are better off in the UK. There is a lot of decline in urban areas here, tweaking drug addicts and tent encampments the likes the UK has NEVER seen. It's incredibly expensive to rent if you want to live anywhere remotely interesting. The infrastructure is so bad, unless you have a vehicle or lots of money to keep flying, you will feel incredibly isolated here. Brits are lucky to have such a great network of public transport and close proximity to Europe and all the cheap flights to get you around there. The work life balance is not as good as the UK. Most jobs here will start you on 2 weeks a year and only increase as your service grows. So after 5 years of service you will get 3 weeks and so on. Don't expect 5 weeks vacation until you have put 20 years in with most jobs. Canada is boring, it really is and so are most Canadians who also seem to have no idea what a sense of humour is. I have found new immigrants to be the friendliest, especially those from China, India, Vietnam and the Philippines. Now to the wokeness of the place, oh gosh, it's so bad. The Alberta premier has just announced very sensible and much needed gender reforms which 95% of Canadians agree with. These reforms will protect young gay kids mostly. The left have completely lost their mind over this. Women here are in genuine fear of speaking out regarding their privacy and rights to single sex spaces and sports. In the UK , this is slowly improving I believe. I'm putting things in place so I can leave. I hope things improve once the liberal government are gone but it will take many years to get this country back on track.

You don’t have to give any reasons for leaving, just do it! I’m sure no Canadian will try to stop you. You should encourage many other Muslims to go with you. Maybe you can go fight and help free Palestine, put your money where your cap is. I think it is a marvelous, wonderful ides, hopefully you can start a Caravan of other Muslims to go with you, and they can join you in this utopia you have created in your mind of this place where you are going. I’m sure Canada was perfectly fine before your great great grandparent, grandparents, or Parents decided that a Muslim country was not where they wanted to be, and what was best for them and their families, and fled from it. We are so sorry you are leaving. Success immigrants from different parts of the world have come here, were discriminates, but then were accepted and changed the country for the better. After traveling to different parts of the world, I have yet to find a country that is better than Canada, economically or spiritually. Everyone is leaving Canada. I have seen a lot of Muslims (including Syrian refugees) and Christians leaving Canada for similar reasons and I have myself tried. I hope I will succeed sometimes soon. I am living in Australia, great to hear you are leaving Canada. Yes Canada. I have visited Canada and love it. Great place for skying in winter, hopefully you found a country soon. Let me give you some suggestion of choice to got to 1. Afghan, Pakistan, Yeman and Gaza will be the best choice as you can help build the country back. Good luck.

I'm sorry to hear that you wish to leave Canada. I understand the problem with winters. I think inflation is a world problem that you can not escape. I don't believe that the government is doing anything more than trying to be inclusive to all of the 'others' of our society but then I am an old man living in a very isolated place. My children were raised Muslim but not of the 5 prayers a day. My disappointment with the Canadian government's and opposition's stance regarding the genocide in Gaza is huge and it is the best reason you have given. Canada as with Germany in Namibia has its own problems living up to the genocides we have committed in the past. If you go to Malaysia I hope you become sensitive to the 'others' that live in that country.

Some times i watch videos on differents experiences others migrants experiencing here Canada and we re on same boat. That s why i also made choice to move out in Colombia on the beach for my retirement.Then im here giving some advise. As immigrant myself, African from Gabon, we experiencing same realities of the West since 10 years now. At some point, i can say there s something broken in this country since last 6-8 years. As you making decision to leave Canada on the reasons you expressed, it is very important for you not be wrong chosing the wrong place again. You need to think about it seriously. Straight, can tell you 100% United states is worse than Canada as Muslim family to live in. You need to read all suggestions given in this Video. As a lot people suggested you in the comments, i totally agree with em that Malaysia, is the Top one based of the reasons you explained why you leaving Canada. Maybe Turkey and UAE as second choice. As a born and raised Canadian I made the decision to flee my homeland of 42 years the moment that the current regime came to power in 2015. I ended a highly successful, well-paid 20+ year career, sold everything I owned and was gone within six months. I am not a religious person, so that did not factor into my decision, though I knew what was coming since I had lived for years as a member of a minority that was constantly demonized by former Liberal rulers for decades.\n\nI completely understand your reasons for leaving and wish you all the best. Canada was a great place to grow up in and I wouldn't trade that experience for the world, but to say that it is now going through a process of state-funded and engineered societal decay would be an extreme understatement. It breaks my heart to see what's become of my once wonderful nation, but I've resolved to treat it like a deceased parent who lives on in fond memories, but is never coming back.\n\nI hope you find the ideal sanctuary for you and your children away from the madness plaguing the world these days and I am eager to see where your journey takes you. I am not Muslim and Canada is becoming a totalitarian state. You are wise to leave if you can find a place that isn't mental. The woke culture is completely nuts and I don't want any part of it either. Such a massive turn off. I hope you can find a place to live where you will feel free and happy.

Being Russian - I really missed winter living in Australia. One of the reasons I've returned Home))) Other reasons that you guys named to leave Canada - I'd list the same for myself and my family for leaving Australia. Except for I'm not Muslim, I'm Orthodox Christian. But there are many Muslims around me here - Russia is a very diverse country.

You speak of hate crimes against Muslims, which is obviously despicable, yet there seem to be many such crimes perpetrated by people of your Faith against others who are not believers in Islam - the massacre of Christians in Nigeria is one example. This is my 13th year in Canada, I am so sad to see the change, I really hope it will become a better country again with Trudeau stepping down. But we also have to be fair that there are not many countries become better since COVID. Many of you leaving or planning to leave Canada are more like rich country retirees taking advantage of the wage and currency differences between rich and poor countries. So let’s put it this way, if many of you have not worked your whole life here in Canada, will you still have a quality of life in your home countries, such as Southeast Asia or South America? I doubt majority of the population there is make a good money and having great work life balance, and everyone there could afford a decent retirement life. what is more close to nowadays reality is people coming here and hoping they could have a better paid job and settle down here, but most of them found out they are struggling to even maintain their normal life in this country, so they left. For those who came years ago, they made a saving which may not be enough to support a good retirement life here, but is more than enough in other countries, they also choose to flee. Then those successful immigrants will stay here with the option to travel anywhere they want. My son's classmate's grandfather immigrated to Canada long time ago who later become a well known cardiologist and was rewarded as one of the top 25 immigrants Award, all three daughters are now specialists too. I really hope Canada could rise again!

I like what she says about her grandchildren, in future years, may have to leave wherever they go now… alluding to the possibility (I believe) that perhaps there is no permanently perfect place… I can understand how they would appreciate living somewhere where the daily prayers are announced 5 times daily over loudspeaker. I often feel so very isolated in myself in MY way of life here in Canada (which doesn’t happen to be as a Muslim). After all, we are the “cultural melting pot,” and so many people of different cultures have come here and tried to make a life work for them. Canada is seen as “a land of dreams” by many, but it depends on what our dreams are, for real. For instance, what were many immigrants hoping for when they fled Europe after World War II? This family is telling us what they dream for their family, and Canada is not a good fit for what they value.

It's a disgrace how Canada has been governed the last 8 years. Government debt is through the roof and that burden has been passed directly to the once so called middle class now the working poor. I am leaving Canada as I can only see life and standard of living dropping considerably. If they stop the idiot policies now, it will take a generation to recover, but i hardly see that happening. The climate activists, gender activists and health fear mongering is controlling policy and brainwashing children. Canadians will accpet things. Born and raised in Canada but I'm investigating leaving. An absolute mistake for anyone to move here. If I stay in Canada, I would fully expect to die on a gurney in a hospital hallway. Terrible health service, awful traffic and road rage, ridiculous food costs and restaurant prices, mean rude anti-social people, crappy weather, and bad government. Canada is not close to what it was or hoped it would be.

Canada was not like this 8 years ago. You can thank the current liberal government for ruining this country, but then you likely voted for them! As a Muslim living in Canada, I am looking forward to leaving for more reasons than one. ?? I try to avoid being too negative about it while I’m still living here but I am tryna save the money to hopefully move to a healthier environment.
