Good journalism, it's good to get out and hear what people are thinking. In viewing, it occurs to me that it's hard for white people, and maybe Christians, to understand some Asians. I'm an American, so-called white American, and love Sanatana Dharm, or what most people call Hinduism - that term should soon be forgotten. Anyway, this video shows a variety of people called Indians but whom are vastly different in belief. So much so, they maybe fighting in India but abroad, they stick together. Islam and most Indian philosophies (they are not religions as there is no overarching institution or organization) feed the "devotees" several times a day...it is a part of the culture, shared meals with those who share faith. The Indians, they basically want a better life and will send money home. Muslims will buy land through a trust and then buy more and more. I don't know about Canada, but there are no such cultures in America - well, the Church has bought a lot of land but does nothing to serve people. The Mormons have land and a strong daily schedule, some community churches have very strong programs, but as a whole, The Church has done nothing to make itself appealing and therefore, there's no opposite or equal force. What to do? and as far as assimilating, yes, they should, but to what? Should they start playing hockey, drinking beer, etc. The second gen might. The West has lost it's way and religion isn't the solution but a culture not so decadent would be a good start.

How did Canadas successive governments failed this nation by getting immigrants who instead of assimilating in Canadian way of life deliberately segregated themselves to create their own country and culture in Canada.Immigrants to this land have been destroying way of life in Canada by creating hundreds of countries they came from in Canada.Its scary to even think how all sorts of religious buildings are being built to segregate people based on their own religion and culture!??!

the polish dude is 100% correct. indians try to blame their govt for how messy india is, how corrupt... but then we see how they act in canada, the messes they bring and dont clean up... how they are corrupt people sometimes, how they try to cut corners and do things illegally... i watched it in my own workplace, how our indian sikh boss was so racist to his fellow indians, because they had patel name from gujarat and were 'lower cast' than the bossman who had sikh last name and was an 'engineer'. but this man just wanted to cut costs and try to cheat things, now this workplace is closed down. this is my experience all my life with indians. :(

I have such mixed feelings watching this video and the following is just my opinion. I am an immigrant from India too and I love my country's values and culture but I also realize its drawbacks. When I came here, my immediate instinct was not to change everything to how it was back home...It was rather to learn the culture and values of Canada too (which I know is in and itself a mixture of multiple cultures). If you are reading this my fellow Indians, It is truly my most humble request to remember that you don't have have to quit your culture, but that does not mean that you make no effort or take part in involving yourself in other cultures or mock them. You have the chance to better a country that has offered YOU a better life. Please don't ruin things for other immigrants or Canadians. We are resilient, and we can choose the best of both worlds.

This is a slap in the face to someone who spent over a year preparing to come to Canada. I spent tume and effort and lots of money and sleepless nights to make a perfect application. I made sure I be 100% honest bcuz its mainly part of my religion. When i got accepted and came , I counted the hours in my part time and paid attention that i dont work any extra min over my 20 hours during studies, I did the same for my PGWP and PR application. Its hurts my soul that someone can be dishonest and gets a slot in the quota competing with people who are doing it like me. Its insulting. If those ppl who are not decent enough to submit an honest application and follow the rules they should not be allowed a spot in the quota. They should be removed and sent back to where they came from. Canada should bot tolerate frauds. We literally came gere for a better life , a safer life. By accepting frauds in, you're telling future applicanys to cheat thier way into here.

Here's my life in canada. denied work. Denied education. both grandmothers, and grandfathers and before that mothers and fathers, defended and fought in the great wars, not by choice proxy and came to canada post ww1 to get away from euro trouble, only for second great war, and most were against forced to join because of direct proxy or relatives being killed. When you income is below hte poverty line, and you spending large amounts of time seekngi for a job or working but denied life and work at the same time. It becomes fairly strange. Denied education. Was sekeing ot be a general practioner, but I was cosntnaly called racist by black peopel that jsut arrived rrehsly. then there was CBC and asian gang relatiosn nad hte abuseo f minoirity acts. If you wish to live like you are in India then please go back. You come here for a better life here yet bring your old life with you. In Canada we wear hats on our heads not diapers. We wash our feet in the bath not public sinks. You stink you are pigs. You work for next to nothing then send the money home to India. I am from India came to Canada legally (gone through 7 months of processing and waiting , submitted countless documents , photos , chat history to prove relation status and professional experience, literally submitted all my life story) to obtain PR and come to Canada just to realize that people without any of these come from different parts of the world especially India bypassing the system and living better life working cash jobs and doing random stuff. When i went to take driving license first time, An Indian origin guy rejected my application saying that my Indian License wasn't looking original enough , where I have seen people who couldn't even speak basic English were applying to get license to drive trucks. It is sad to see how many of our people are bringing a lot of 'Indianness' to this country and live like it is their own turf. I have met many young and middle aged individuals who call themselves students who doesn't even have a clue of what they are studying. It is unbelievable how people of certain status live their life partying and enjoying breaking all sort of rules , dropping out of college etc. when people who are here legally and many Canadians struggling to pay rent / mortgages / insurances etc. Don't even want to talk about job security , its a joke. Finally happy to see someone raising voice.

I'm no expert, but it's obvious that mass immigration is detrimental to any country. Years ago, Canada seemed like a dream country, but in the last few years, it looks like the homelessness, crime etc. has increased and the housing prices are insane. I have a Sikh friend who lived there for about 5 years but moved back to India due to the high cost of living and quality of life there going downhill. He has a much better, low stress life back home. I think there should be stricter measures to immigration. For example: Let doctors, nurses, engineers, lawyers in more easily, but those that are coming as students and going to work as cashiers, should be limited.

Canadians are being accused of racism when addressing immigration to immigrants. They use that word to defuse your point of view and concerns for our country. So ask them.........HOW MANY CANADIANS DO YOU HAVE TO DEPORT BACK INTO CANADA because we're hopping your borders for a better way of life? How much tax dollars does your country spent on sending canadians back to their country? How much federal country money do you give canadian immigrants to start their better way of life? Do canadian immigrant women get to keep their country traditions any way of a canadian life style or are they conformed? .......... Don't be silenced or afraid. They weaponized the word racism to give them leverage because that's all they have in their artillery.

When the railway was completed, they offered them British citizens including those born in Uganda. The colonial British gave them business loans, including Indian banks to extend credit and loans to Indians without surerities. They were allocated colonial govt freehold land for free in the most prime areas of uganda major cities like Kampala, Jinja, Masaka, Mbale, Soroti, Mpigi, Tororo etc while black Ugandan indegenous people were pushed into the rural areas to work in factories, mines and businesses set up for British Asians. As you can guess, business class get super rich while Africans who didnt work on their own coffee, cotton, and domestic farms were left to work as clerks, securicor, teachers, Christian clergy/ reverands and local tax collectors for the govt. Brutal as he was, Indi Amin saw and used this imbalance as a second liberation war, economic war, to kick out all British Asians holding UK Passports and any other Ugandan born who didnt want to abide by the authority of indegenous people. So when i see how Canadians resent them I dont feel for them unfortunately. I already had enough on my plate in Canada. Indians were the owners of biggest to smallest shops in major cities and town in Uganda because of free capital and soft loans, financed business premises thru the colonial British suckers. They showd that arrogance which pissed most of the indegenous Ugandans. For example if you went to a shop and burgained on a KG of sugar or bread, or shirt, and didnt get fail to buy because you dont have that much or failed to get a good deal, the Indian shopkeeper would insult any Afriacn in Indian- Luganda accent " oba tayagala genda malala jali..mali ya nyoko?". meaning " If you dont want to buy go, others are there will buy, is this your capital/ stock?". Many songs were sung after the 1972 kickout depicting that phrase/ quote.

What a disgrace. Multiculturalism is a failed experiment. We CANNOT turn Canada into India 2.0 The Sikh at 12:30 saying we all live in the same world to justify mass migration doesn't understand that that sentiment of universalism is only applied to white countries and it is destroying OUR White culture. And different races are not just about skin color, it's also about culture and IQ levels. Indians with their low racial IQs bring a lot of problems. The man says that color doesn't matter, but Indians care about color. That's why they only hire Indians and discriminate on Whites and other races. Indians are in fact the most racist people in the world. Ignoring race only promotes multiculturalism and that promotes White genocide. Human beings are racial and we should accept it. All immigrants need to understand that they need to STAY home and build a better life for themselves AT home. Not running away to White nations to impose themselves racially, culturally and spiritually. Multiculturalism is White genocide. It destroys US, it destroys OUR homes and our cultures. Our nations need to be 90-95% White and we should only allow those people that truly want to assimilate and leave their cultures behind.

Instead of relying on immigration, Canada should focus on innovation — create robots, invest in R&D, and encourage its own population to have more children. Solving the labour shortage domestically is a long-term solution. Bringing in large numbers of people from 3rd world countries won’t fix the real issues — it may even harm the system over time. Speaking as an Indian, I can say that many of our people don’t adapt to the host country’s culture or values; instead, they often bring the same mindset that created problems back home. Look at India — poor infrastructure, declining quality of life, and a government more focused on propaganda than progress. Importing that mentality, even among the so-called “educated,” won’t benefit Canada. Core values and a willingness to evolve matter far more than degrees. Your govt should also stop permit or spending public money on building temples, mosques, or any religious structures. Why do we even need them? Faith is a personal matter — keep your beliefs and celebrations at home. Things starts with these things only.

All the recent Indian immigrants interviewed seem to be very kind, hardworking people who are just trying to create a better life for their families. Then I read the comment section and it's just a bunch of people spewing vitriol towards Indian immigrants. "Canada isn't supposed to look like India". What the hell is Canada supposed to look like, to me it just looks like America, what "Canadian national identity" do you really have?

I lived in Canada for 11 years, 2008 - 2019, went to university and worked in Toronto. I come from an upper-middle class family in China, went to a top university in Canada, landed good jobs and I speak English like a native. I got my PR in 2015 and I remember the painful uphill battle I had to go through just get that. All the bureaucracy, redtape, unnecessarily rigid rules, high cost and long wait I received from CIC/IRCC felt like a humiliation to me. Every document was scrutinized and every step had obstacle that fealt unreasonable (my TOEFL examiner ask me why I had to do the language test required by CIC, and I had to visit a notary to validate my Chinese national ID card). It felt uneasy but I understood that these were the rules that everyone had to go through, and moving and integrating into a new society was never meant to be easy. I went back to Canada in 2021 and 2024, and it was evident that the country I once called home had gone down the hill. The streets were screaming crime, unemployment, inflation, drug and filth, it's total social rot. As someone who went through the whole immigration process (and many of my friends who went through the same have left Canada for good, like myself), I attribute much of this to failed immigration policy. I cannot help but feel confused, angry, betrayed and humiliated when I look at the recent immigration policies of Canada and their results, and compare with what I had to go through. The feeling sums up to: Canada penalizes the hard-working and law-abiding people, and rewards the undeserved and the cheaters. Example: when the US creates wars in the Middle East, why does CANADA bear the cost of bringing in refugees? I never regretted moving back to China and East Asia, and I feel bad for those who still truly think of Canada as home, as I am one myself. When the leadership of a country deviates from pragmatism, reason and common sense, and instead embraces idealogies, hypocrisy and political optics, this is what happens. The prices are paid by everyone, immigrant or not. For this, Trudeau deserves a court trial for his incompetence and dereliction of duty; and the people of Canada need some honest and serious retrospection. I will share some words of wisdom by the late Lee Kwan Yew: “Whoever governs Singapore (LKY was the PM and founding father of Singapore) must have that iron in him. Or give it up. This is not a game of cards, this is your life and mine. I've spent a whole lifetime building this and as long as I'm in charge, nobody is going to knock it down.” I hope the clownish weakling politicians in Canada (and, in much of the western world nowadays) can be enlightened a little bit.

Canada calls students to give them PGWP after finishing their educations in Canada. The students pay ultra high education and life expenses. Then, Canada says we don’t need this much skilled worker as white collar, but you can works as uber drivers or Tim Hortons workers. The reason is Canadian youths don’t want to work in those odd jobs. However, Canadian people complain about the immigrant odd workers. They think economy is bad because of those immigrants who paid thousands of dollars for education and have been working in odd jobs. This is stupidity. Canada government exploits immigrant students by making them spend thousands for education and can only provide odd jobs for most of the immigrant students who hold PGWP work visa. Then some almost-racist Canadian folks stand against immigrants who have actually been exploited.

Why is that all hate against Indians in Canada? Am not Indian origin , but what is wrong for Indian making majority in Brampton. Am black African living in Toronto , who love this country for giving me the chance to build my life and always I bless Canada and Canadians.saying all this , Do we not have a pocket in a city / town dominated by people whose origin traces all the way from Italy/ Portuguese/ Lebanon / Ukraine etc . So for me , yes you can talk about controlled immigration without dehumanizing Indian migrants. Am a proud Christian , and receiving an immigrants is a blessing, even my lord and king Jesus Christ was refugee in Egypt. The west welcoming immigrants coming from Christian heritage, that is why indeed western countries are very blessed. Am not saying, open border policy is acceptable . I moved here from South America almost 30 years ago and worked to learn the culture and values. When in arrived in Vancouver I was shocked to see so many Chinese people.. it was not my idea of Canada. Then I moved to Toronto and was shocked to see so many Indians. As an immigrant myself I'm against these immigrants that come here and don't learn the culture and have no appreciation for the Canadian way of life. This is 100% a failure of government policy . Trudeau made the situation so much worse.

See the issue with multi culturalism is that “like people” tend to stick with “like people”. It’s human nature… for instance, when I go to school or the break room- I sit with my friends. I interact with, socialize outside of the current setting - because that’s where we are comfortable. Everyone in life chooses to be comfortable, as it’s better. When we mass immigrate (especially from one country) we can’t be surprised that this happens. Of course Indian people do business, socialize, real estate, etc… with other Indian people. It’s what they are comfortable with. I think mass immigration is an awful idea and a culture that doesn’t encourage assimilation and chooses multi culturalism will find that it’ll no longer be multicultural- as the new dominate culture in Canada will be Punjabi.

Indian spirituality penetrated western thinking in the 1960s and that was followed by cuisine from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal etc. So generally people in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, etc have welcomed people from the Indian sub-continent. Obviously immigration whether from India or another country needs to be moderated in order to give the immigrants time to adapt to the Canadian way of life

I was not raised to be racist but at 67 and my family has been in Canada since 1536 , I can now say that I am racist. I do not agree with melding pot beliefs. the people being brought in to my country are NOT TRYING TO MERGE OR ADAPT “OUR” way of life. Better Rules for coming to this Country need to be implemented. like No banking outside of our banking system. no owning property until they have been in Canada for 15 years and have proven that they Support Canada not the country they Left and didn’t bother to try and work on. I came to Canada as a Landed Immigrant 50 years ago. I have made a good life, raised children, always had a job. I feel as Canadian as anybody who was born here. I resent those newcomers who only exploit the services they never paid for and trample our decency and tolerance. I grieve for our values being undermined and overridden by mindsets that will never adapt.

it is so disturbing how people are being brought in to be exploited for labour, legally and fraudulently, and also simply refusing to leave on temporary visas. or even buying their way in. living conditions cramped, bad pay, buying their way. As someone who is born in Canada as an Indian. This is absolutely sad to here. I want the best for Canadians who are born and raised here. I have 10 years of experience working in the nation I was raised and I am having some people have my job who aren't even fit for the job. It makes no sense to me. Our wages have stalled due to international students for a better life, but at the end I want money just like other Canadians who have been here for ages. Also we need to end why our government allows lucrative hiring contracts overseas for cheaper positions in certain degrees and diplomas. In addition, why are all of our call centers placed all over the world. From Africa, south east Asia, South Asia. Those jobs can be available here. We can have a decomcratic country if our country didn't care about just "growth" we didn't need more immigration. We needed systematic change in government, schools, common sense, I could go on. I think us as Canadians don't know how corrupt the world really is. Look at other countries and how they work. It's lucrative essentives to benefit only certain people. I would rather have our tax payer money be used to fix the system. My dad's been here since the 1980s and he is sad for everyone. This is a loss on both ends. We didn't create new universities, new highways to support the population, no hospitals, new schools. I remember when my class sizes were 18 to 20 kids. We need change, not radical because we were never that. Let's do what we do best and be Canadians for us first.

I am Indian and here we have few states : Punjab, Haryana and Gujurat from where where every mid to low tier graduate wants to move to Canada cause it would be an easy life upgrade. The top tier ones don't go to diploma mills . Mostly they go to top US universities. Canada isn't getting any of these. I was thinking how stupid the Canadian admins could be.

You're not okay with the whites being in the homeless shelters, but if it were those immigrants who have to work hard after getting there to build their own life, if they went through a series of misfortune and ended up in the homeless shelters, you wouldn't ever care.

I had close family that's been in Brampton since I was a little boy. I visited every year so I for to see what it was like. I think sometime in the 90s I started to see more and more Indians. As a Filipino studying in Canada, it’s kind of frustrating that a certain group of international students if you know, you know is ruining the immigration system, and the blame ends up on those of us who came here legally. Some Filipinos who chose to study here have already gone back to the Philippines because life here is difficult and we see no future anymore in Canada. Others have moved to the United States to work as nurses or to Singapore instead, because we realize that the money we invested in paperwork and tuition fees is no longer worth it. Meanwhile, we see many Indian students at school who only attend classes when there’s an exam or quiz.

as a refugee myself from Afghanistan, I know a lot of fellow refugees and immigrant who works for cash, abuses the system, don't pay taxes, if they are manager-they hire only immigrants and people they know, they think this way they will have a better life in Canada, but in reality they are fucking the economy and not thinking about its consequences in the long term. I assume most of them will wait no minute to go back to their home country once the economy in Canada crumbles. I feel really bad about this kind of behaviours and I feel ashamed.

canadians and her multicultural ways simply can not compete against india, africa, south asia and various latin american countries because of 1 thing - birth rates. and when i say the canadian way and what 'used' to be a balanced multicultural way of life - is now being completely replaced by, majority led, india and a select handful of a few other nations - philippines, nigeria, bangladesh and some middle eastern nations. most of these nations - minus the philippines - have very different values and laws from the west. gender inequality, caste systems and not to mention religious / secular conflicts. racism is also incredible in those nations - again, minus the philippines. the only reason i include the philippines on this list as well is because their numbers are also very high in terms of the recent immigration scams but still not as high as india - who by large is the biggest scammer by a mile. these nations export canadian capital to their home nations and recycle the cash and bring in more of their own people. it is blatant soft power take over of canada without firing a single shot. canadians need to wake up and bring back balanced immigration. i will never accept sharia law, caste systems of gender inequality in canada but it is already here and their population is hundreds to thousands of times more than canada and they are already establishing incredibly strong roots here.
