Those same 2.9 million will claim for asylum and refugees status
|
| 2026-01-15 | 2 |
Probably either Liberals will create a new PR path for them or they will apply for refugee status, which will allow to stay for a few more years.

lmao bigger cut back on international students instead of refugees... the stupidity and corruption of Canadian government? 1 increase spending, other bring in revenue. Gave away billions and take other burdens. Canada might be well off w/o a government

What the 'polish' guy is saying and the 'redneck' guy is saying is pure bias!! If a 3000 sq ft home has 3 generations living then that would easily be anywhere from 5-12 people depending on the number of children or sibling the earning member(s) have. The only problem is when these homes are converted to rooming units. Otherwise it is perfectly legal for extended families to live under one roof as first immigrants to gain foothold and then move on!! The fore fathers of the current white population did this as well !! Also, these immigrants and students are NOT housed in hotels and such, it is the refugees from Syria, Palestine and Ukraine (and other war torn countries) that Liberals brought in that are housed in hotels. So this is misinformation. What I do notice is that these losers are jealous of the hard work that the indian immigrants are capable of doing and feel intimidated.
If this is any comfort, many indians are actually choosing to go back to India as opportunities are better and more and they have seen what Canada has to offer. There needs to be responsible reporting happening not just interview any guy on the streets who has 0 knowledge of the current political scenario.

The cuts to temporary foreign workers, refugees, and other immigrants do not go near far enough.
Maximum number allowed, in total, should be no more than 60,000, laser focused on STEM and medical grads.

I kept saying the border tightening wasnt to apease the Orange MAGAggot. Its for keeping illegal Americans out of our country. Get ready for an influx of American refugees sneaking through.

Every student visa holder got a work visa. they took jobs from Canadian youths. All work visa holders which are students will be PR or refugees. Canadian government will continue to increase income tax. look at meat prices in canada, look at egg or milk price.

As an American, I am ignorant about Canada and its immigration policy, and so wonder how much stated in this video are lies due to racism, and how much is true?
For example, the Indians who come to the US are vetted, are educated, and work hard. Since the 90s, most of the Indians who come to the US are not Punjabi Sikhs, nor are they Muslim. Punjabis came earlier, but since the tech boom, most who come are Hindus usually from Southern India. About 20% are also Christian. These Hindu and Christian Indians from Southern India are model minorities. Think of these kids who do well in the Spelling Bee. No crime, no trash, just educated hard working folks. Especially here where I am in San Jose, CA.
So are these Canadians lying, or are the type of Indians who go to Canada worse? Those with fake diploomas or Sikhs claiming refugee status due to their religion and not being safe in Hindu India? Something is amiss bc how can these Indian immigrants be so different? If Canada is not vettung their immigrants why not? I also know that a coworker of mine who is from Southern India, his niece recently secured a visa to Canada and she is a Radiation Oncologist, an occupation Canada is in need of. So assumed lie the US, Canada is letting in needed skilled workers.

Yet, Canada gave away billions of dollars to Ukraine and took in so many Ukrainian refugees, and beg Canadians to make donations to the Food Banks. What gives?

You pay our TAX to accept Refugees, paying them monthly and then if they couldn't convince you, you pay from our TAX to remove them from Canada!!!! please review the laws, it's nonsense

Great news,,but it should be 1,800,000 not 18,000...
Makes me laugh that ctv worry about tax money spending being 78 millions on deportation while we spend annually over a billion on refugees hotels...😂😂😂
Great journalism finance by the Liberal party of Canada.!😊

How about all the college and universities that took big money from foreign students to only have them drop out and claim refugee status , make them pay for their deportation
|

Bill C-12 is a serious attach on the Canadian juridical system allowing the minister in charge to interfere with legal process of any refugee at any time , even before the legal process starts the minister in charge can terminate the file and can stop the legal process. Furthermore, there is no recourse, i.e.
the decision is final and can not be appealed before court !!!!!!!
C-12 is is a very serious attack on the Canadian juridical system and the legal process of refugees.
This bill was tailored by a group of hatemongers, Zionist liberals to target Muslims !!!!!

Kick out non tax paying refugees who have been in the country longer than two years. We have millions claiming child tax credits and welfare who drive luxury cars and haven't paid a cent in taxes back to society
|
| 2025-12-30 | 0 |
Canada has a very good immigration system that benefits the Canadian economy (point system), then there are a few bypasses that completely ruins it to grease the pockets of a few and gain cheap votes(students pipeline, abuses of family reunification, fake "refugees", ...).
|

Then you got 1 million refugees crossing the boarder, doesn't even scratch

❤simple fix: Refugees must apply for refugee status outside of Canada. Millions of bogus cases, too little is being done.

Here is a simple fix: you must apply for refugee status from outside Canada.

how is filing a fake refugee claim isn't criminal in and of itself? explain that to me
why are ya'll always giving everyone the benefit of the doubt
|
| 2025-12-30 | 0 |
You could save that 78 million by not allowing so many in. Almost 80 thousand “students” have emptied food banks or disappeared into Canada. No cost is too high to remove these people. Stop letting them in and you will save hundreds of millions. This is criminal. Fix Canada before you offer our country over to “refugees” and no we cant do both.

In the US in 2025, ICE has deported half a million who are not in the US legally, and an estimated additional 1.5 million have self-deported, in some cases with government financial incentives. So 50k deportations might represent a comparably active effort for Canada, and 18k might be creditable for a Liberal government. But the effort sounds rather bureaucratic, and focused only on rejected refugee applications. I would want to know how many of these "deportations" are entirely on paper -- "your application has been rejected, please let yourself out at your earliest convenience." They spent roughly $5k per deportee, and that would cover air fare if the deportations were done privately, but adjudication costs money, and governments find many ways to make everything much more expensive. Also, if refugee claims can be judged false or inadequate, where are the efforts to determine whether "students" are really students?
By the same token, the world is a dangerous place. I figure all those living in any of the many violent inner-city neighborhoods in the US have reason to fear for their lives. Similar facts are true of many millions around the world, and most of them would be rejected by Canadian immigration because they'd be safe if they simply moved to places they can't afford.
|
| 2025-12-30 | 0 |
Deportation is always expensive. Using the numbers in this video, it's over $4k per deportee. The real problem is that too many are let into Canada in the first place. As well, it sounds like they are mainly going after refugee claimants, but there are similarly large, if not larger, numbers of TFWs and international "students" (who are not really students) with expired visas.

I worked with a lot of refugees and asylum seekers. They are generally allowed to work hwhilst waiting on their claim to be processed. My experience was they are very hard working, smart and ambitious. Not settling for just collecting welfare or hwhat-not. They are net contributors to Canadian society. Fortunately, the ones I knew had their claims approved. But hwhat if they didn't? hWhat if they lied/exaggerated about the persecution back home. They're still productive members of society. hWhy send em back?
Better yet: Don't make em lie in the first place! Let them live and work here indefinitely just because they want to.

Should the source countries of the refugees being deemed terrorist group? Should we only allow the "candidates" from countries that we so often claim to be "dictatorship" to come in? Otherwise everyone can claim to be a victim of persecution.
|
| 2025-12-28 | 0 |
Not even close to enough. Im telling you since 2019 more than 2 million a year came here. Theres nearly a million refugee claims a year from India alone.
|
| 2025-12-27 | 0 |
I came to Canada legally as refugee in early 90's. At 16, speaking almost no English, I was enrolled in High School and got a job in McDonald's. But even then my clear understanding was that the job was temporary. My managers told me the same thing. I went to university and immediately switched up. It is infuriating to see that fast food jobs are careers for middle aged people, gaming the system and my kids won't have the opportunity to experience the very natural and normal experience of getting into the job market
|
| 2025-12-27 | 0 |
This is a very biased interview. Of course the refugee lawyer is going to cry about Canada deporting fake refugees because its bad for her business.😅 There are over 250,000 people awaiting refugee claims because a lot of people, like former international students and foreign workers, think they scam the system to get PR.
|
| 2025-12-26 | 0 |
sadly the once great refugee system has been destroyed
|
| 2025-12-26 | 0 |
Refugees to Canada is a bit of a sham, the international law that Canada is obligated to follow requires claimant to make claim in the first safe country. Canada has gone beyond the law to accept claimants despite this factor. Geographically speaking, it's basically impossible to escape anywhere and find yourself in Canada first.
|
| 2025-12-26 | 0 |
Just to be clear, federal government and IRCC make decisions on our refugee system and it has doubled since 2017, spending over 2.5 billion in taxpayer dollars. Now it's costing us nearly 100 million to remove them. All while homelessness population has doubled in Canada over same time period. Forget the figure heads of the parties, don't forget this when you're deciding what party to vote for

Refugees belong in another part of the big big country they come from, or neighbouring countries. Benefit-shopping to land --- by plane ! --- in countries where GDP is $50K+ per year is just bogus, fraudulent, and opportunistic.
Canada builds the world biggest amusement park and puts up signs for FREE ADMISSION, NOW AND FOREVER. So taken-advantage-of.

This is an immigration and refugee lawyer who owns a law firm and actively represents refugees/asylum seekers and immigrants from other countries who want not wish to become fully Canadian citizens
My very important question to her
As the principle
Is how are you paid for your legal services and representation
Lawyers always tell me they can be referred to by
Law society of Canada
For a 30 minute free legal consultation
But once that is paid out by that association that is where lawyers and para legal professionals pay dues to join
Then it’s up to those professionals to charge
Hourly fee flat rate
And
All additional charges associated with the file/case law once opened and documents signed
So how much does it cost to
1.
Refugees claims
2.
Asylum seekers claims
3.
Immigration claims
4.
Detainee claims
5.
Deportation claims in the form of
Appeals
How many can they have
Who pays these
professionals?
When media such as
CBC
Also government employees who are paid by the federal government
Do not ask these questions
Which are again
Paid to NGOs
By us poor taxpayers!!!!!
Towards these professionals who represent economic migration and only cost us
Canadians more money

Refugee does nor exist , when you have unrest in your country you stay to fight for better life I am not going to fight for you or give you my money to make you wealthy and my kids poor just get out

This is a business; to let in thousands of 'refugees' and then deport them. The lawyers, agencies and judges made more than $78 million dollars. This money could be used to solve the homeless crisis or help poor families in Canada, but instead we are funding the corrupt government.
|
| 2025-12-25 | 0 |
Well, if you don't have refugee claimants status in Canada. I'm unfortunately, you don't have the right to be here. That's why I think that deportation of non citizen within the country would be appropriate to force.

I think it is way too late. Canada was once highly sought after by Elite and very rich immigrants, investors and businessmen but today it has turned into a global catastrophe and on the verge of becoming a third world poor nation with high rents, auper high grocery and taxes whereas new immigrants get job offers that (Canadians and PR holders deserve), welfare benefits not aimed at veterans and elderly Canadians instead it is aimed at young refugees and new immigrants, all thanks to our liberal government

There are people who already got refugee assylum submitting fake documents. Now enjoying Canadian's hard earned tax money. On top of that, they are working in exchange of cash to avoid paying tax.
|
| 2025-12-25 | 0 |
Canada has to take these money from board officers, who allowed them to come in Canada, from immigration and refugees workers who allowed them to stay in Canada, from immigration lawyers. But not from our money. People hard working every day and pay taxes not for mistakes of immigration and refugee workes. If this ministry so expensive- it is necessary to close this ministry.

It's unfair to focus our attention on just the Indians. Look into refugee applications from Iranians and Turks too, they number in the thousands. Iranians that can come to the country do not need to seek refuge from anything, the oppressed in Iran do not have the means to even buy a plane ticket to come here. Currency exchange businesses run by Iranians are a front for transferring and laundering money. Don't take it from me, Iranians openly admit it and are seemingly proud of it. Invest more in intelligence gathering and espionage to more effectively weed out these refuge shoppers.
|

My brother works for immigration Canada, he said that although Carney said immigrants are deported, but in reality his government is bringing in more Asylum refugees into Canada, which means Canadians will have to take care of them with their tax dollars. Carney told the immigration workers not to tell anyone about this.
|

A drop in the bucket compared to the money we tax payers have shelled out to house bogus Roxham roaders. These so called refugee lawyers, advocates, and NGOs have a vested interest in keeping a steady stream of illegals coming through because that's how their bread is buttered but more importantly its a specific world view. But the media is all in on this worldview so its an echo chamber.
|

Good!! Deport more. Anyone overstaying a visa, any fake refugees, get them all out. Send them back to fix their own countries, not drag those problems here. Failed refugee claimant = economic migrant. Get them out!
edit: They can have deportations delayed because they might need medical services their country of origin can't provide? F that! Thats medical tourism and we are paying for it. Deport, deport, deport.
