Even skilled trade jobs are marketed to international students as a pathway to obtain permanent residency in Canada. the Canadian immigration system currently faces issues with corruption. This environment creates opportunities for scams, prompting individuals to engage in various forms of fraud to gain extra points and secure invitations for permanent residency. On housing, seems that the government is attempting to inflate housing prices, as this strategy significantly boosts the economy by presenting favorable GDP figures on paper.

Yep we are screwed big time, here in Moncton New Brunswick we only used to have a small number of Immigrants usually a mix of francophone students and refugees properly vetted by immigration. Jobs were available for everyone, a small example is the taxi cab drivers who were usually a mix of older semi retired Canadians, Sudanese and Syrian refugees who communicated well and tried to adapt to their new home, Canada. COVID hit and we started seeing Punjabi’s coming in unprecedented numbers, they say as students, from Brampton Ontario?Overnight all Walmart, Taxi/Truck Driving jobs, Tim Hortons, McDonalds were Punjabi jobs who do we blame? Rents are high, jobs once available are unavailable life has become hard where do we run same people voted again for the same government that has destroyed us 😢😢😢.

Get these immigrants out, job shortage for Canadians because the government gave our jobs to immigrants, opened free drug distribution to destroy Canadians, hatred comes to mind when the very word liberal comes up, they should all be in jail, murdering our people and the list goes on the liberal government did this. Canada and Mexico are not responsible for the people in the US who chose to use drugs. It's too bad that Trudeau's Government did so little about fentanyl, also about our poorly-controlled border and destructive immigration non-policies for so long. Hence, driving Trump's scorched-earth policy (The Tariffs). This video is horrible. I don't know what political angle is, but the real problems are very well known and have nothing to do with what you said. First, housing is incredibly difficult to build in Canada because of regulations and land title problems, I.e., you don't own that land, the indians do. On top of that, there is a constant influx of immigrant that require housing that doesn't exist. Children cry because they cannot leave their parents' houses because they can't move anywhere, so they can't find any jobs locally, and they're trapped. There is no will in the canadian government to change these immigration policies, to change the land rules so that people can own land and build houses, or do anything about their incredibly micro managed economy that makes it impossible to do anything. If so, yeah, they go to the US to have a future while Canada stagnants and dies.

Not only is Canada bringing in mass amount of unskilled immigrants, but they are are subsidizing their wages, driving down wages even further as Canadians entering the work force can't compete for jobs when companies can pay well below minimum wage for foreign workers who will be topped up by the government. Our own taxes are being used to make our own citizens more poor.

Most illegal migrants spend thousands of dollars to commit the crime (entering any sovereign country illegally is simply an invasion). If they dare to enter China or any of the Arab countries this way, then who knows, they would be in heaven or hell rather than back home. All the deportees should be arrested on reaching back home for invading a foreign sovereign country and tarnishing the images of hundreds of millions of citizens of their countries who enter the USA or any other developed democratic country to study at the best of the universities, and after completion of the courses, they are not only provided the best of the jobs but also citizenship or other legal status to stay put in the countries. But these people reach their desired destination after going through rigorous educational and other processes and after a thorough background check. But in the matter of illegal immigrants, how are the victimized countries supposed to know their backgrounds? How can one be sure if they are not hardcore criminals, terrorists, spies, or even trained soldiers of enemy countries? In such uncertainty, how can the invaded countries be sure that an incident or incidents of such a large magnitude might not take place that, in comparison, the incident of 9/11 would look like the small incident of bursting firecrackers?But on one election promise, the president is, unfortunately, taking a complete U-turn that those students who do the master's and other higher studies should be retained and provided legal status to stay in the country as their contributions are needed to give the country the perpetual cutting edge in the highly competitive world and keep the country's status as number one. These scholars are feeling cheated that by spending huge amounts of money and contributing to the research and development during the studies, they have not only been taken for a ride but also become the main target of the deportation campaign as their status is available with the government. On the other hand, millions of undocumented workers are comparatively safe, as tracing and deporting them is not an easily achievable task. Besides, millions of foreign citizens are given entry into the country on flimsy grounds, and many of them do not even ever go to elementary school. I think even God would not be able to make out what the fuck this country has become on this issue. Almost the same is the situation with most of the EU countries, the UK, Australia, and Canada.

The people leaving Canada are older, and they have money. The ones coming are poor and compete with other poor immigrants that can't afford to leave. When I came to Canada with my parents they had to be skilled and bring with them the minimum of $10.000.00. Today the door is open everyone comes to visit finds a job that hire illegal migrants, and never leave. The company saves and no one pays taxes. The government is corrupt. So the vast majority if not all of these immigrants are able to find these people smugglers and do business with them to get in the country, but no government and police is able to pin them down and arrest them?\nIs there an explanation to this?\nWhy not realise that these people won't disappear, they're there now. While I don't approve of giving low tips or being rude, a problem is we have an over immigration problem here with the same number of Indian immigrants coming here as in the U.S despite 10x less people and tens of thousands of less towns. So it's getting hard for Canadians who were born or grew up here to find jobs and many are upset and some will take it out in inappropriate ways. It's best for government to limit immigration so that Canadians can have these jobs. Sometimes you have to put up with jerks in retail. You can always not work there

I was born and raised in Canada and last august I left to move to the Czech Republic. If you’ve ever been there you’ll know it’s not the cheapest country and I live in the most expensive city. I still am able to afford to live off my not so high salary of an English teacher. I wouldn’t be able to afford living away from my parents in Canada, I’m not saying it’s been easy or cheap, I have 6 roommates and my rent is over 50% of my monthly salary. I had to take out a loan from my parents to afford all the visa fees and hidden costs of moving to another country. However if I had stayed in Canada I would have been earning less because I couldn’t find a job in my field. I am filled with rage about the governments decisions to mess up the country like they have. And yes we have an immigration problem but they are not the problem, it’s the government. My mother was an immigrant to Canada, and yes she’s doing okay right now but things have changed a lot since she immigrated and how Canada is now.
