I was born in Canada and will be leaving soon, Canada is a sinking ship.

It’s like this everywhere in Canada. We have the worst federal government in memorable history driving inflation to horrifying levels while rampantly taxing its citizens while providing the worst services I have seen in my life, all the while boasting about how great they are. Drug addicts are given free federally funded hardcore drugs out of “compassion”, no wonder there are mental health problems. Until we have serious reality based leadership the ship will continue to sink. Maybe if we vote them in for another term things will get better?

When I moved to Canada as a naive young man, I has a few hundred dollars in my pocket. I set up my first factory in Montreal, soon moved it to Hamilton (a suburb of Toronto) and in four years had fifty people on the payroll, exporting millions of dollars of production around the globe. The financial sector is not a good barometer of the economy of a country. I know, it sounds crazy. But, it's true. There are many large businesses from other countries reaping massive profits from Canada which count into the progress of Canada until they decide to leave the country with the money. Also, large companies currently worldwide are more in the mode of pleasing their share holders. Thus, consolidating their businesses and firing hundreds or thousands at a time in those consolidations. The financial sector rarely trickles down their profits at the proper level to keep up with inflation and overall cost of living. This leaves the middle class and poor sinking into an economic abyss as each year passes. Which then leads to less purchasing power by the masses and inevitable economic declines.

As a born and raised Canadian. I am considering moving to the states, Canada is a sinking ship and there is no sign of things getting any better. The only thing stopping me right now is the crime rate. Crime is MUCH higher in the states.

Canada doesn't NEED more people. Canada simply needs a government that allows the people it already has (immigrants or Canadian born) to succeed in their life goals and dreams while benefiting society. Instead they seem convinced if we just keep boarding more people on this sinking ship it will somehow solve everything ? It won't.. It's the system that's broken. Our taxes are so high that people work less since working more (or at all) won't benefit them in any way

This is 1/2 the numbers of a massive country like the US. This will drive our economy down, and introduce slave labour equivalence. This could sink Canada.

If they our and the govt is still letting planes in from china , in from virus hot spots, other countries it's not being prejudice worrying about catching co vid , getting sick may be dying , the govt , the tv media it's there fault they have put so much fear into the population , plus on CBC , global a infectious disease expert said 15 percent of the cases were from international essential travelers in two months 270 came to Canada, example say 20 confirm 3 our from international essential tavelers , about mask, how come cases our going up as soon as they make people ware mask, grocery stores, all workers and people keep touching them , letting them down for a second to catch there breath,, scratching there face , now it's contaminated , it's the same with the whole country , carry alcohol and a running water, carrying a sink around all the time to be 100 percent safe from wearing mask.\n, in hospital medical professional , even touch there mask , face too , get contaminated ,so how do you think 2 years and above can have that kind of control.
