I attempted to have many discussions about these issues and was shocked by the generally vapid responses I'd get. Much more to say, but the main point is that Canadians have destroyed their own country's quality of life and from what I can see, Canada is not worthy of respect as a nation. I take ZERO pleasure in saying this. However, the country should have provided the United States with a up close example of what a well run social democratic nation looks like. I have an issue to pick with the framing of policy change as “changing the rule in the middle of the match” because “the match” has a clear time stamp for beginning and end. There is a clear lie in that video. Nobody is in Limbo. Mind you there is normal Federal Express entry program still happening. Meaning, that if you get selected through that program, you can immigrate to any province of your choice - including Quebec. You can also still get bonus points for Canadian education (Quebec education does count) and Canadian work experience (if it qualifies). So the only thing that happened was, that one provincial nomination program was ended, that is all that happened. The practical problem is, that provincial nomination does give so many points, that it is a guarantee of normal express entry pull as long as you just meet criteria to enter Express entry. So provincial nominations are suitable for people that might be otherwise struggling with points (older age, less language perfection, les bonus points from education or work experience). For a disclaimer, provincial programs are based on a specific province needs and just because one was opened when you planned to go and study or work in Canada, it does not mean it will be like that forever. If an agent made you such promise, then he was misleading you. Again for those people demonstrating, nothing has changed for them other than one future option was gone. They still have their student or work permit until it expires. They also can apply into Express entry program as normal. On a side note for Canadian trying to cheer about this, be aware, such change can also mean that economy projection for next few years is not the best. so take it a warning sign. Or if we are lucky, it was found that this program was not bringing intended type of skilled worker or was heavily abused.

They can protest as much as they want. The reality is that way too many of them come here to go on welfare + get a social housing + aaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllll the free services: free school, free healthcare, surgeries, special schools for handicapped kids. The list of free stuff they receive doesn't end. Good deal good deal! That's great for them but terrible for us. All the social housing that we build and pay for are almost exclusively made for immigrants (especially Arabs and Haitians). We Canadians are a nice bunch of suckers. I was the lawyer invited to this interview, and after reading some comments celebrating the end of the PEQ, I feel the need to clarify a few things. The people affected by this are not “abusing the system.” this was the program for people that came here legally and are working. To qualify for the PEQ, they had to be working full time, they pay taxes, they speak the language. They’re fixing our roads, keeping hospitals running, welding, machining, doing the jobs most of us take for granted every single day. The hard truth is that Canadians have stopped having enough children, and we simply don’t have enough young people with the skills to fill these roles. Yes, we absolutely should invest more in education and trade programs for our youth — my employer clients are begging young people to become mechanics, welders, skilled workers, often in the regions. Most don’t take those jobs, and even when they do, training takes two to three years. Our industries need people now, or parts of the economy will stall, and that affects all of us as Quebecers and Canadians. These workers are not asking for charity. They are already on the front lines keeping key sectors alive. Ending programs like the PEQ doesn’t punish “illegals” or “free riders”; it punishes people who are already integrated, working, and contributing to the society we all share. Also, all they are asking is for the new rules to not be applied to them retroactively, only for those coming new into the country, otherwise it is rug pulling those already here that played by the rules, and when the government does it to us we don't like, on principle of fairness, whatever you think of the numbers, too high too low, doesn't matters, it is the least we can all get behind as humans.

If Quebec wants to end that program, that is they choose. However, you can't just offer something like that then cut it off with no warning. I grew up with lots of ukrainian and other immigrants, and on the whole, they are okay. Current ukrainian refugees are, I have noticed, a bit confused owing I think to the unfortunate circumstances which caused them to relocate. I suspect a lot will repatriate themselves when the war ends. They pay the media, they pay Antifa and BlLM. End goal is depopulation and if the civil war happens which they want Muslims too will be extinguished. They do not want them either. That will be all over the freedom loving countries.

While the end result is the actual "immigrant", you can tell these new immigrants all day and night to go back to their country... The immigrant themselves will be looking at you like... Huh? Why? Not understanding why people say that to them. Folks, the Trudeau/Carney Gov was the problem all along. Trudeau's campaign on bringing 500,000 a year made this a field day for everyone around the world... Furthermore the campaigns they would have in other countries to literally sell the idea for them to apply to become an immigrant in Canada. The libs are 100% responsible for what is happening now... For me to tell an immigrant, the he/she is not wanted here is not relevant... The government sold them the pitch to come here for a better life.... Trudeau allowed other loopholes to happen too.... Migrants through applying to colleges and universities, migrants through the liberal foreign work program and the list goes on. Now we have a problem and everyone sees it.... The question is what do we do as Canadians... I exercised my vote for blue...but we still had a majority of liberal supporters which was not just surprising but it seemed that people think Conservatives are bad people who are racist and want to follow trumps steps... i begged to differ.... I think what many of us are aiming for is a cleaning up of liberal policies... And stop immigration from ALL PLACES. Allow Canada to re-coop, reestablish and redevelop what it always was.

As a Canadian, I am so sick and tired of being told that i have this bullshit nonsense, non-existent " white privilege," which is a load of shit. I am terrified for my little girl when it is time for her to get a job because my little girl and I are white, so we are put at the bottom of the list for being employed. And on top of that i am expected to bow down and not have a voice or an opinion about anything when it comes to immigrants and that because my daughter and i are white so we are automatically considered to be racists colonizers and forced to pay the price of something that happened long before i was even born and had nothing to do with just because the color of my skin . God gave us all our skin color and made us all . I had no say with being born with the color of my skin. Canadians of all colors and cultures are suffering so badly because we brought in so many immigrants who demand we change everything and pretty much bow down to them and told that we all have to change . Stop trying to change Canada and the Candian people . I refuse to bow down to anyone who tells me that i dont matter, and my opinion doesn't matter because of my skin color and because i am assumed to have bs white privilege. The only people i see having all of the privileges are the immigrants coming in trying to force us to bow down to them while starting protests to change Canada . I will fight against these immigrants who are trying to force Canada to change to their ways, which won't ever happen . If you want to change Canada to your way of life and culture, then just stay in your own damn country . We need to get rid of these protesting immigrants who do this crazy shit . It's pretty pathetic and sickening that Canada lost it's back bone and allowed angry immigrants to come in here and take over everything and try to change the country and laws and treat the Canadian people as if we are less than them which is sickening. As far as i am concerned, any immigrant that came here that are fighting and protesting against Canada to change Canada to how they want Canada to be while treating all Canadian people as second class citizens plus destroying the country and destroying nature while breaking laws and demanding that all Canadians give in to their demands need to be kicked out of Canada and never be allowed to return . It will be a cold day in hell before i bow down to any of them who try to destroy my country and tell me that i am white so i need to be silenced because i am white and a colonizer so i dont matter . And white people have a hard time finding work . My daughter is sick, and so am i, so when it takes 2 years to see a gynecologist or take 6 weeks to see a doctor, it is insane. This situation is so bad for all Canadians that we need to grow a pair of balls and take back Canada and stop sending our money to other countries and stop allowing immigrant terrorists destroying the Canadian people and Canada and it's nature . If Canada doesn't start to fight back, we will all be screwed even more in the very near future . CANADA NEEDS TO GROW A PAIR OF BALLS AND PUT AN END TO THE GOVERNMENT BS AND TO STOP THESE IMMIGRANT TERRORISTS AND CLOSE OUR BOARDERS AND STOP SENDING MONEY TO OTHER COUNTRIES AND DEPORT ANY IMMIGRANTS WHO TAKES PART IN TERRORISTS ACTS AND BREAKS THE LAWS . And it kills me to say this because i love my country, but if Canadians are not going to stand together as one and take back our country and our lives and fight for change now then we might as well become Americas 51st state because we lost our Canadian pride . And it shows that Canadians don't care about Canada anymore . 💔
