My personal experience with Indians, that are my friends, are educated graduated students that came in years ago, and behaved with manners, now in last 8 yrs we have an INVASION of uneducated, nasty, gang mentality people, that we Canadians DO NOT appreciate at all‼️ If you cannot adapt to our culture, go back to India, and keep your mess there. I'm 52 years old and a Canadian citizen my whole life. Canada has always been a welcoming country. I have friends from every part of the world here in Canada. But in the couple years there has been a brutal influx of Indians in Canada. My build alone had maybe 3 Indian households. Now more than 60% of the building is indians. And the problem is 6 to 8 people living in a 2 bedroom apartment. We use to have 1 garbage bin in the basement. Now we have 3 and they are over flowing and they leave garbage everywhere( I've watched them do it). Not everyone has house keys so they leave the security door open all hours of the day allowing criminals to get into the building. They have shit in the laundry room and the garage(I have seen this happen). They smoke in the building halls and lobby. They Dont use laundry detergent when washing their clothes so the laundry machines stink really bad. I have to was the laundry machine before even putting my clothes in.Also they have taken every job in the business in my neighborhood. They aren't very friendly. They come into my restaurant and act like entitled brats and hang out for 6 to 7 hours in groups of 20 and don't tip. They're loud and demanding. Now our regular client's have stopped coming. Since these new Indians have come here they have tainted everything. I have never been a racist individual in my whole life. My family is very diverse. We are white, black, packistan, and Asian. In the last 3 years I am so disgusted in the quality of people that have been coming to this country. The biggest group is Indians. I'm sorry but be don't need any more of these assholes. We have enough of our own assholes

Gosh I've been in Canada for 14 years. Trying to do everything by the book when it comes to immigration. Came here as a student, graduated from engineering 8 years ago and now working in the aerospace sector. I can't even become a Canadian citizen until Quebec lets me to do so, and I got big dreams such as flying for the military here. Hello Alina, I have been to Toronto in 2007, and I can honestly say, I did not like it. I have my cousin in Vancouver, and after staying there for so long. Has decided to come back to Perth. If I was a young guy, Thailand would be my choice to live. I have just come back from Koh Samui, After spending 8 nights on that beautiful Island. I have met a lot of people from all walks of life. There are lots of people setling in Thailand today. Americans, English, Swedish, people from Switzerland, Holland, Austria, Norway and so on. I had the pleasure of seeing Lilly, her husband Wat, and her gorgeous 3 kids, her nanny, and her son. The food is so cheap, everybody smiles. Not like here in Perth. I don't see how collapsing the infrastructure is helping anybody. If there's no room, there's no room. Out of the 8 billion people on the planet, something like 6.5 billion live in developing nations. Canada has 40 million people. When is it too many? Another 40 million? A billion?

Boston has a 3 bedroom 2 bath house renting 4500 a month and 15 people live in there. They each share the bed on 8 hour shifts.

This doesn’t mean reduction of immigration numbers isn’t a part of the solution. It’s common sense that if I only have enough food and space for 8 people then I’m not inviting 20 to my party…. I been living in el pasonfor 8 years now. And when I first moved here I barely ever seen vagrants or homeless people. During covid it was a ghost town downtown. And now you drive down town it's 100 homeless illegals on every single corner and 40 in between the central park down town can't even see the grass cause so many illegals are camped out shitting on the street and in the bushes. Crime shot up by 300% in just 14 months. It's about to get wild here in the states because millions more illegals are on the way as I typed this

This is what happens when activism takes over government, media, and educational institutions. Responsible behavior gets thrown out the window. It doesn't take a genius to figure out you need to have infrastructure before you add more people, not the other way around. Canada hasn't had a government for 8 years. They are radical activists and the country has suffered drastically because of it.

How do you call it scapegoating immigration for the housing shortage? Is it the biggest issue? Yes. You can't increase the population by 8 million people in a decade and not expect it to stretch not only housing but Healthcare as well. It doesn't make you a racist to be upset about that. Sure the infrastructure needed to be increased but that has to be paid for in advance of immigrants coming and with so many people on the poverty line who should pay for that? You make it seem like it's our duty to take in and provide all the services necessary, it's not. If the immigration wasn't so out of control the systems would be able to keep pace and people wouldn't be so upset. So stop gaslighting everyone that is upset with the massive increase in immigration and all the issues it has caused!

We can't blame immigrants. We have to blame the government who issues Visas. Without Visas they cant entire Canada. Its the incompetent government starting from Sean Fraser, Marc Miller and of course the wrecker in chief who opened the flood gates. Its crappy, I'm at the point in my life where me and my fiancée are making more money then we ever have, but its going no where. We need immigrants, we do not need this much. I go on tiktok and there are tutorials for people coming into this country on how to obtain free food, like from food banks and what not, spite the fact we have minimum funding requirements for students coming here. It sucks, because the minimum isn't high enough for somebody to actually live off, and its taking food away from desperate Canadians who really need it. Some of my best friends are immigrants, and it sucks to try to speak up about it, only to be bashed as a bigot or xenophobic. I'm not either of those things, we just have a HUGE issue caused by a massive influx of people. Its not the people's fault, its the failure of our government. I have no issues with anybody who wants to live a better life, I have massive issues with a government letting new immigrants experience a mediocre, and overpriced, life at the cost of everybody else's life getting WAY more expensive and difficult. My rent for a 2bd apartment in 2014 was $770 all included, Grocery bill was about 170 every two weeks. That has all tripled in the last 10 years, Legit tripled. *Only mentioning those two, because they have gone up the most, but EVERYTHING has gone up. (about 2-3x) Its crazy to think when I was making 8-10 dollars less an hour, I had more money, it went MUCH further.

Thank you for the information, but the way you share the 8 points sounds like a spoiled child complaining. I wish you could give an example of a country doing better in at least 4 things. Homeless people are everywhere. As for non-aggressive homeless, I cannot say. Racism towards blacks or other minorities compares to other developed countries. Taxes are high on a salary because one has a salary at least. So what I am trying to say, these are issues I agree. I would instead call them areas for improvement, and a country like Canada can do better.

I am watching this video from Canada and I have 4 words for you - “DO NOT COME HERE!!!” Everything that was mentioned in the video is absolutely true. Canada is facing many problems, unaffordable housing, broken healthcare systems, homeless people, drugs. I am always scared to walk in downtown at night when I’m returning from work. And the worst part is, you cannot even defend yourself here if a homeless person is attacking you. If you do that you will be prosecuted saying that why did you touch that homeless guy and it is a violation of human rights, which is stupid. So does that mean that we should just let a random homeless person kill us?? How does that make sense?? My friend who was having an asthma attack had to sit in the emergency room for 8 hours. If something would have happened, who would be responsible? And the list just goes on. And what does the Canadian prime minister do about that….? Let a guy be a girl and a girls become a guy? What does that even mean??? I have nothing against the LGBTQ people. That’s your life do whatever you want, I don’t care. But there are so many other issues going on in the country and the government is focusing on allowing people to change their genders !! \nAnd the worst part is that a portion of the tax we pay from our hard earned money goes to the homeless people. And what do they do? Buy drugs and start attacking random people. Canada is the most beautiful country in the world that’s its usp , again we Indians can learn something from Canada is the way they preserved their nature that is remarkable that gives them good oxygen rich air , water and hygiene that Indian people are far away or never witnessed in their life. We don’t have any greenery in our country we really need to work on improving that but neither the people nor the government is interested in making good changes or even have such idea in head ! Along with that Canada has strong tax system you really get tax return as well as strong labour protection act that guards its resident from exploitation and employees can sue the employer if exploitation is provable on table with facts. India doesn’t have any strong labour protection body this results even in corporate jobs you have to work more than 8 hours and no OT , plus Canada has EI (employment insurance) so that means is , if you loose your job for any reason you will get government assistance to help to pay your bills till you find your next job. Plus disability benefits , food banks , freedom to live your life the way you want, you can eat what you want, religion based stupidity doesn’t exist in that country. So yes it’s true I don’t like the Canadian PM either but overall Canada is really good country and we Indians can learn atleast some good things they carry and adapt to our country and make India bit better place to live. The moment some says truth we Indians start bashing and may say go to Canada but we don’t realize our own problems and don’t wanna work.

use to work 8 hours a day here and i was able to afford life, in now working 10-12 hour shifts and i hardly afford bills, i don’t even know what a vacation is , my only vacation i ever had in this Country was in 2015 when i went to mexico for a week. it’s just work work pay bills and work , that’s how most people live in this Country, it’s almost better not work in canada and make 8-10 kids and live of those benefits ..:: it’s what most immigrants do at least they have time for themselves

Idk if you mention this but in NS the gov pays 75% of immigrant wages meaning employers prefer hiring immigrants over citizens. I lost my family doctor 2 years ago and haven’t gotten a new one. My kids did as well. And walk in clinics are literally lined up outside the door every day. \nAnd I’ll add the culture of India is a lot different than Canadian culture especially when it comes to customer service.. even getting our doubles doubles has been effected. \nAnd I’ll mention the immigrants often have no kids or family with them.. they live all in 1 place even 8 people in a 1 bedroom and they will have multiple jobs. It’s not because canadians don’t want to work.. it’s literally more profitable for the employer.

Back when I was about to attend college in India, the dorm had one tiny room with two bunk beds, totaling 8 people in 9sqm space.
