all this harangues.....is tedious. why are you rooting for visas? since the 80s, i have seen any and every indian that was barely intelligent enough to be productive in the rest of the world leave the country....except one or two, whole batches of classes from our graduation, masters classes have left....and these were ppl who benefitted from the almost free higher education given the indian state...so, stop rooting for visas, s if it is a good thing for out country..unless ppl are travelling to conduct some business activities abroad, every visa obtained means one loss for india....

At the same time getting Indian visa is also not so easy. Ranking may also depend on number of tourists who want to visit. Indians these days in far reaching in numbers due to the middle class economic upliftment. It is not that India is equated with tiny unknown countries.\nNext as far as the visa rejections are concerned very few student visas and work visas are rejected. So educated lot are not rejected. Most of the rejected visas could be tourist visas, who want to go there in disguise of tourists who actually propose to go as domestic or business helpers. Of course the visa fee is high. That could be discouraging point for many who want to go for just earning and also a source of income for those governments to compensate wages to be paid to their white workers to handle umteen number of applications.

Ethics and civil behavior is needed in India itself. If people travelling in planes with a bit of money start to think they can get away with any kind of sh** then sorry but this is bound to happen.\n\nI saw behavior of some while travelling to Malaysia how some of them were just demanding business class upgrades because they had a child. Another who just sat in one seat thinking he can get away with it and gets into an argument with the stewardess. Pathetic behaviour really. It is sad we did not invest much either in our families own and in schools to correct this. We should learn how to behave in public by the Japanese. They are the gold standard.

Visa applications is a business.......... they want u to apply coz either way u will lose the application fee ie u pay to get approved or not often the criteria is deceptive?

Unfortunately, there has to be some criteria by which each country has to make a judgement. I do not understand why she is cribbing here. There is this guy who keeps going on international trips and everyone in India for gaga over the importance he brings to India through those trips. What happened? Not working? They fail to understand that all the hugs and kisses are only for the TV and in reality every country just cares for the business opportunity they get out of the other. \n\nPalki keeps talking about using our economic power. Who should be weilding it? Is it not the Government? Do they really care if an individual or a lot of their citizen's visa get rejected? They have no data to contradict the agencies but use rhetoric and everyone seems to be happy about it.\n\nWhy has this lady not put in any thought on the other possible reasons for rejections that could be because of the applicants? The easiest thing to do is blame other countries for the rejection without thinking why certain types of countries reject and what has our citizens done in those countries? No point in thinking about a few people who helped build Dubai or those one of cases like Pichai & Nadella. Think of those who go their and cause concern to those countries.

We, Indians, put ourselves down.\n\nThey are;\n1) Out of 100 Indiands traveled abroad either for tourism or business, only 50 returns home, and the rest try to find jobs to live there.\n\n2) Many Indians forge documents or produce fake documents to get visas.\n\n3) Where the Indians go, they bring pan and pan parag items and spit sll over the place, especially the North Indians. South Indians are much better.\n\n4) We, Indians, can go any lower to get a job abroad at low pay. So, we put our own grades down.\n\nThere are numerous examples I know of. Let me cite a few below.\n\n1) In one of the Western countries, a few years ago, a real Punjabi brother and sister who staged fake a marriage, got a marriage certificate, and other documents only to migrate there. The government eventually found put and deported them.\n\n2) Canada deported a few hundred Gujarati students when the US border security found them not speaking in English. On investigation, it was found that they all came with fake IELTS certificate.\n\nThere are many incidents we get to witness the day after the day. So, we can't blame other countries. It's us who made us very cheap in the international market. Because of those Indians, the entire innocent, honest, and talented Indians community is affected.

When you have smashed your manufacturing, you won't have money, if you won't have money, people will be running to other countries like crazy, It's unusual immigration which is hated anywhere even if you tell.them with broad smile that we are the Vishhvguru they gonna hate you. Avoid visiting these countries for holidays. Only business & study.

The category of persons whose VISA’s got rejected should also be discussed. Like students, business, casual travellers etc should provide a better insight.. Also visa rejections due to improper documentation should also be highlighted

Why do Indian need to go to other countries? For business, for studies? Grow the business and do the studies in India. Change the behavior in India for the better. in your reporting, I wish you had qualified what kinds of visas are rejected - student, visitor, immigration, business, etc. and the numbers.\n\n\n\n\n\nHow about India RECIPROCATEs with the Aforementioned countries because India is the #5th rank economy in the world.\n\nIs it possible that these countries are HINTING at something.

My VISA was rejected for Slovakia. It was my First Onsite Business Trip for a month. I feel very sad ?. \nSuper dissatisfied and disappointed.

The problem is they are not able to curb illegal immigrants and taking the wrath on people who want to go legally .\n\nIn my case they didnot even give a reason why it was rejected even after my bank balance showed hefty consistent bank balance and a business which has proper income tax document .\n\nThe reason given was not enough economic roots .

Before we cry foul about why our passport ranks low or why visas keep getting denied, maybe we should take a hard look in the mirror. The West already has tens of millions of Indians already here, your people are everywhere literally all over the world, your country is making it harder to start a business or settle in India, so why should your country get free access?

Good news and many north indians are taking aslyum in europe and america on tourist and business visa, if such activity is increasing then other country can take any actions. India doesn't have aslyum facility and no one want to take Aslyum in infia???

I know a Indian friend who when he was a student due to climate issue got in a delayed flight in UAE, he hates politics but he follows a philosophy that's eye for an eye, and that is if everyone can be a thief nobody will be a thief, if you steel from me, I've the right to do the same, he was denied a 1 day visa by the UAE government and had to stay in the airport for 15 hours, he was angry, while others in the flight was given a 1 day visa, so say 15 years later, he is running his own business abroad, got a chance in open interview to interview students, saw one was a UAE citizen, he never took the interview for him, his philosophy, after 15 hours of waiting, he will take that student's interview, he took other's interview, after time was over he left the office and later the student left, his attitude is he as the right to do the same.

Yeah they may have small business but they have to be vetted and with the courts approval if they want this hear and been approved rhey will have to pay a fine because it is illegal to cross into this country illegally.second part the will have to pay back taxes . Hell no! It’s a fun place to visit, I love Florida California. I’m looking forward to going to the Carolinas, but I would never move there permanently. Indians are mostly hard working nice people. It is not just the number of students, it is the quality of the students. Majority of these students are not top notch or the ones who will integrate well into society. Most of the schools accepting students in Canada and Australia are businesses run by former immigrants to these countries, who saw the business opportunity of charging people to give them admissions to low quality un-ecreditted schools, which they run themselves. Then in the midde of the school years they will push students to apply for immigration or refugee status. Everyone knows what the scam is but the governments are not addressing it. I am pro immigration but the systems have changed (broken) from what they used to be 20/30 years ago.

Thank you for bringing this to the forefront. Also, I think what is equally if not more damaging is that our experience of Indians is that they cheat. Whether a driving school, moving company or other business, they are well known to bypass regulations and swindle Canadians. Demanding overcharges at the time of delivery etc. If there is a scam running, they are involved. In about 2004 almost every Indian real estate agent in Alberta had their license pulled because they were proven to be involved in mortgage fraud on a massive scale. Not to mention we can no longer enjoy peace and quiet in our own homes without having some Indian calling us from India, trying to plant viruses on our computer, steal our life savings, or otherwise do as much damage to Canadians as they can. If there is a way to cheat the government or cheat on immigration, they will have their hand in it. I will not even talk to an Indian on the phone anymore - period! As a general rule, Canadians have learned that they can't be trusted.

One time, I went on 1 day business trip to Canada ( i have American Citizenship, but born in Europe). Good Lord, I was asked so many ridiculous questions, and most were related to my former old country!!! Absolutely total idiotic nonsense!!
